Tonight Killa Kev is recappoing WWE RAW for Nikes the Sneaka Pimp, still out on duty for our nation. Tonight's show is on tape delay from Datchforum in Milan, Italy -- RAW's first-ever taping in Italy tonight. Tonight Johnathan Coachman has ordered John Cena to defend the WWE Championship against Rady Orton & Edge in a handicap match. A Diva Fashion Show has been scheduled, and we may have more to com ein the growing feud between WWE Women's Champion Melina and former champion Mickie James.

We open the show with Johnathan Coachman coming out to greet the fans, and he gets nothing but boos. Coach announced that last week his main event match for Backlash was Cena defending the title in a 2-on-1 handicap match against Rated RKO, but he got overrulled by last week's honorary general manager, Michael Pena, who made it a 4-way including HBK. Coachman said that he didn't get his way last week, but he'll get it tonight, because that 2-on-1 handicap match WILL be the main event tonight. Coachman then introduces Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Vince's music hits, he does that goofy looking strut down to the ring and steps in. Vince thanks the fans, he says he had a better reception in Paris, France and everywhere else than what he has gotten in Milan. He says Milan is supposed to be the fashion capital of the world. He apparently doubts it, as he turns the cameras on the fans and doubts that any of them know anything about fashion. He also says, for the record, garlic is not an aphrodesiac. And with that non sequitor, he introduces Umaga.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga comes down to the ring, with manager Armando Alejandro Estrada behind him, displaying the title. They get into the ring, and Vince wants to remind the fans in Italy what Umaga did to Bobby Lashley last week. We go to the Titantron and play a video montage of what happened on RAW last week, the same one that played on ECW. The end result that Bobby Lashley will defend the ECW Championship against Umaga, Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon in a 3-on-1 handicap match. Back to RAW, Vince says that the three of them will destroy Lashley at Backlash. Vince then says that he regrets to inform the fans that Shane is not appearing, apparently having some fear of lack of deodorant. Vince also says that Bobby Lashley also didn't make it, apparently something happened with immigration and he was sent back to the United States. Vince then offers an open challenge for anybody in the RAW locker room who wants to face Umaga tonight. The camera turns to the entrance, nobody comes out. Vince says to the fans that he will sweeten the deal by putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Still no response. Vince says he won't compete against Umaga himself, so the only thing they have left is the fans. Vince challenges anybody from the crowd to step up. Umaga gets to the ropes and hurls insults at them. Vince says that they're all brave from a distance, especially when drinking, but is still looking for a challenger. Vince goes around pointing at fans, and eventually picks a plant at ringside to get over the rail and get in the ring.

This fan gets in the ring, steps up, Vince tells him to hold on, he knows he's intimidated, but wants to know if first he can speak English. The guy says, "Ci, Ci!". The fans start up a soccer chant. Vince yells at them and tells them to shut up. Vince asks the guy where he's from, I didn't catch where though. Vince says that before they get started, the guy has to agree that if Umaga destroys him, the guy can't sue anybody. The guy says he agrees, the fans cheer. He asks the guy his name, he says his name is Santino Marella. The fans stand up and clap for Marella. Vince takes a moment to point out Marella's bright-red sneakers and make fun of his shirt. Vince says he wants a referee for this match. The referee comes down, Marella strips off his shirt, and this guy is built! Vince tells the fans that he warned them, and this will be on them when Santino is destroyed.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: champion Umaga vs. Santino Marella

Marella attacks at the bell with some rights, but Umaga puts him in the corner, Marella reverses and puts in some kicks to the knees, Umaga shoves him in the corner, splash, he misses! Santino with a schoolboy, two count! Marella is lined up to fight, Umaga backs up to a corner. Vince McMahon suddenly interrupts and halts the match. Vince backs Mrella up to a corner, and says that there is a misunderstanding. Vince says that this will be a "No Holds Barred" match, anything goes. He calls Estrada into the ring, calls over Marella and the ref, and explains it is no DQ, anything goes. Estrada then slaps Marella, Marella slaps him back, and then Umaga attacks with a clothesline, and then a second clothesline, followed by a bodyslam. Umaga off the ropes hits a legdrop. Estrada rolls marella over and slaps him. Umaga lines up in a corner and hits a diving headbutt to Mrella's midsection. Estrada gets out of the ring, Umaga drags Marella over to a corner by the leg, climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and hits a splash. He picks up Marella, bodyslam, Umaga climbs out of the ring slowly, goes to the top turnbuckle.

The fans cheer as Bobby Lashley comes out of nowhere, wearing a suit, and throws Umaga off the top. Lashley lays in some big rights, strips off his shirt, more rights, and a big clothesline of fthe ropes. Estrada gets up on the apron, Lashley lays him out. McMahon gets in the ring with a chair, swing, Lashley grabs it and yanks it away, McMahon leaves. Lashley turns around and then nails Umaga with a chairshot three times, then hits a spear. Lashley then picks up the Marella and puts Marella on top for the pin.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR NEW WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION, SANTINO MARELLA! Lashley puts the title around him and they celebrate as we go to break.

We come back from commercial and recap the match. We're back in the ring with Lawler on the mic. Lawler asks how Lashley was here. Lashley says he wasn't supposed to be here, but he is. And he wasn't supposed to keep his title at Backlash, but he will. But tonight it's all about Santino Marella. Lawler puts the mic over to Marella, who thanks Lashley and thanks the fans (in Italian). Marella and Lashley then pose in the ring as RAW's theme music plays.

We go backstage with Carlito and Ric Flair. Flair asks Carlito if he's ready for their match. Carlito says he's ready, but he's not sure after letting Flair down last week. Flair says don't worry about it, that was last week, this is a new week and they get to prove themselves again tonight. Back to commercial again. Back from commercial, we get a promo for next Monday's RAW in London, England.

Ric Flair & Carlito Colon (w/ Torrie Wilson) vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas)

Flair, Carlito & Torrie make their way down to the ring first, all getting in the ring. WGTT makes their entrance next, much shorter, straight to the ring and ready for business. Benjamin & Carlito square off first, Carlito with a side headlock, shove off, shouldertackle, floatover, and a pair of short hiplock takeovers on Benjamin, one for Haas as he comes in, a pair of bodyslams for both. Benjamin tries to splash Carlito near the corner, Carlito ducks it, Benjamin eats the buckle, Carlito with a dropkick on Benjamin, then on Haas as they go out of the ring.

Haas tags in, Flair tags in. haas puts Flair in the corner, Flair chops his way out, whip off the ropes, back elbow smash. Flair with a chop block from behind as Haas gets up. Flair sets up for the Figure Four leglock, benjamin interferes, ref chases him out. Haas takes advantage, drags Flair over to his corner by the leg, tags to Benjamin. Benjamin whips him off the ropes and executes a back body drop, goes for the cover, two-count. Benjamin wraps Flair up from behind, tags to Haas, Haas with a kick to the gut, then a kick to Flair's back, another kick to keep him down, then lays in some rights and some knees. Haas off the ropes with a kneedrop, covers, two-count. Haas drives Flair into his corner, tags to Benjamin, who lays in kicks and punches. Tag back out to Haas, kicks again, Flair chops his way out, Haas takes him down with a punch.

Flair is back up though and hits a back suplex on Haas, rolls over and makes the hot tag to Carlito, Haas makes it over and tags Benjamin in. Carlito unloads on Benjamin with left after left. Whips Benjamin off the ropes, clothesline, running knee lift, clothesline on Haas, one on Benjamin, whip off the ropes, Benjamin reverses, Carlito with the springboard reverse elbow off the ropes, covers, Haas interfers. Flair throws Haas out, but the ref comes over and shoves Flair back to the outside Carlito off the ropes, Haas trips up Carlito from the outside, which lets Benjamin put the T-Bone Suplex on Carlito. Benjamin covers and gets the win.

Carlito is FURIOUS and throws a fit in the ring as WGTT celebrate in the ring. Carlito rolls out, Flair comes up and tries to console him, but Carlito shoves him off, then points in Flairs face as if it was Flair's fault. Carlito then walks up the ramp as we fade to commercial.

Back from the commercial, we recap the visit from Michael Pena, a child with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which concluded with Mr. Pena announcing the main event for WWE Backlash, John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Shawn Michaels, Edge & Randy Orton. We then go backstage to Maria, whose guest is John Cena. Cena comes up, and Maria gets all doe-eyed to him. She finally gets around to asking him on his opinion about the match. Cena starts to talk, and HBK comes up. He tells Cena that before WrestleMania he always had Cena's back. He wants to make it clear now he doesn't care what happens to him. He says that next week when they have their WrestleMania 23 rematch, he's going to leave Cena on his back, and there's nothing he can do about it. HBK then walks off, Cena stares him down as the fans chant for HBK. We go back to ringside with JR & Lawler, who thank thier Sky Italia broadcast partners, and then cut over to the Italian broadcast team as they introduce themselves. We then segue into another promo for "The Condemned". We come back from the promo, Melina is posing in the mirror, Johnny Nitro comes up and tells her she looks good. Melina says that Nitro is also looking good, and she knows that he's going to win is match against Eugene tonight. Eugene then runs up to both of them, slaps them on the back, and runs off. Commercial. We come back with a short promo for The Great Khali.

Johnny Nitro vs. Eugene Dinsmore

Nitro makes his ring entrance first, without Melina. Eugene's most generic music in the world hits, and Eugene makes his entrance next. Nitro attacks him as soon as he gets in the ring, laying in punches and kicks. Eugene with a few elbows to the gut, Nitro cuts him off with a knee and beats him down into the corner, then kicks until the referee breaks. Eugene staggers up, plants some lefts and rights, Nitro with a side kick. Eugene is whipped into the corner, Eugene reverses, Nitro elbows him in the mouth, then hits a knee driver into Eugene's head from the middle turnbuckle. Nitro sets up for a hangman's neckbreaker, hits it, hooks the leg and gets the win. Nitro doesn't waste time and just leaves the ring.

Diva's Fasion Show

Back from break, we start the introduction for the Diva Fashion Show. I didn't catch the Italian ring announcer's name, I just found it funny that he starts talking and they throw up a graphic for "SAP", indicating that the broadcast is available in Spanish. Candice Michelle is introduced first, dressed as an angel, including wings. Victoria comes down next in a nice white dress, but apparently has problems with her shoes, she kicks them off and then marches down to the ring. Mickie James is next, she's dressed in rather chic jeans and a white blouse. Maria is introduced next, wearing a micro mini skirt an a baby tee. Torrie Wilson comes out next wearing a black blouse that is barely buttoned and a black pair of shorts. Torrie poses at the bottom of the rap. Melina comes out next wearing a HOT red dress and has probably her nicest hairdo yet (at least it isn't that ugly mane they put on her a few weeks ago for the photos on WWE.com!). Melina does her split-ring leg intrance and the fans cheer appreciatively.

The Itialian ringin announcer explains the instructions in Italian, but we know what happens, he's going to show off the girls one-by-one and judge by the crowd reaction. Candice goes first, she poses, and Victoria makes faces and yawns. Victoria is introduced next, she gets bood, she act like she doesn't even care. Mickie James is introduced next, she gets the best reaction sofar. Until Maria, the fans EXPODE for her before her name is even introduced! She struts out and shows off her legs. Torrie Wilson gets an even BIGGER pre-introduction applause. Finally Melina is introduced, and the fans boo her just about as bad as Victoria. Torrie Wilson is declared the winner. Maria hugs her as Torrie goes out and celebrates. Torrie hugs Mickie James next, but Melina attacks Torrie from behind. Mickie James pulls Melina off by her hair and throws her out of the ring. Victoria bails as well to check on Melina and leave with her, the rest of the diva's are in the ring celebrating and posing for the crowd. Camera goes back up to Melina and Victoria, who look on scornfully.

WWE World Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy) vs. Lance Cade (w/ Trevor Murdoch)

Matt & Jeff Hardy come out first, hit the ring and take their time making poses. Cade & Murdoch are next. Bell rings, and we got a tie-up, Cade pushes Hardy back into the corner, referee has to break it up. Referee warns Cade loudly and physically. The fans start chanting "HAR-DY!" HAR-DY!".
