You won't want to miss our ROH "Glory By Honor IX" LIVE Recap tonight at 7:30 PM Eastern! When the recap begins hit F5 or refresh on the full post for all of the latst updates.

We are LIVE on GoFightLive.tv but so far there's nothing going on in the ring and the announcers are screwing around. One of them read a poem and the other said, "What the fuck are you doing, writing a Dave Sahadi promo?" Moments ago I heard the other guy say "We've got 20 minutes of nothing" so it may be a bit before our first match. The good news is that this PPV was only $14.95 to order and if you haven't already bought it you've still got time. The bad news for me is that I had to buy $75 worth of audio and video cables to hook this up to my TV, making this by far the most expensive PPV I've ever ordered. At least that's a one time expense - I'll be able to cover more GoFightLive.tv events in the future. I've also signed up for their affiliate program so in the future you may see links to buy on AngryMarks from which I'd get a small kickback. Of course it's too late for tonight's show but that's no reason for you not to order. Check out Thursday Night AMP to hear an extensive preview of the card from Peter H and I. We'll be back as soon as the first match begins.

7:38 PM ET. The crowd is SCREAMING with rage at someone or some group we can't even see on screen. One person loudly yelled EAT SHIT FUCKERS!!! Ring of Honor - not rated PG. Still no sign of any action and the announcers are currently silent. They just put a GoFightLive.tv logo on the screen over the ring.

7:48 PM ET. Crowd is getting testy. One person just screamed START THE FUCKING SHOW! Killa Kev reports that GoFightLive acknowledged a delay before the televised matches begin on their website. "It said 7:30, then 7:45, then 7:50, so expect more delays."

7:50 PM ET. Okay, there's music playing in the building and people are pounding along to the beat on the barricade. The GFL logo is still blocking the ring though.

7:53 PM ET. "WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY!!!" The main matches are being annonced, including Eddie Edwards vs. Shawn Daivari, The Kings of Wrestlings vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team, and Tyler Black defending the ROH World Title against Roderick Strong. Black is definitely NOT the crowd favorite tonight. Loud chants of YOU SOLD OUT. Tonight's officials are Paul Turner and Todd Sinclair among others (there was a third but the video froze for a second). Tonight's announce team is Kevin Kelly and someone whose name I didn't catch. Now, a moment of silence for 9/11.

8:01 PM ET. Promo videos for all the main events are airing. Aw crap, video just cut out. Shit. Took me a couple of minutes but I got it back for the first match.

* Kenny King vs. Jay Briscoe

Briscoe is getting the full streamer treatment and a MAN UP chant before Paul Turner calls for the bell. Briscoe shoved him away. King wiped the sweat off his brow and threw it in Briscoe's face. Loud FUCK HIM UP BRISCOE FUCK HIM UP chant. King and Briscoe are stalling for time by jumping to the top rope. King gets booed, Briscoe gets cheered. They get into a slapfight in the center, Briscoe misses with a big boot, King leapfrogs, Briscoe throws chops in the corner before a splash, a snapmare, eventually clocking him and covering for 2. High vertical dropkick for another near fall. King takes over and gets on offense as his lovely (and unnamed) female friend admires the offense. Springboard legdrop for 2. Briscoe stps a charging King with an elbow to the face, catches him leaping in the air, and drops him ON HIS HEAD. The crowd is chanting YOU KILLED KENNY. (You bastards!) King recovers but takes a spinebuster for a near fall. Hard atomic drop but King responds with an enzuguiri. Briscoe responds with a boot to the face for 2. HERE COMES RHETT TITUS. Jay does a suicide dive to the outside to wipe him out. Briscoe tries a sunset flip coming back in, King nearly turns it into a cradle using the ropes for leverage but Turner breaks it up. King kicks him in the head and hits the ROYAL FLUSH for 3. WINNER: KENNY KING. Mark Briscoe is so pissed off about it that we're getting his match RIGHT NOW.

* Mark Briscoe vs. Rhett Titus

Briscoe hits a vertical suplex and goes for the cover but Titus kicks out at one and Kenny King laughs loudly on the outside. Briscoe hits a heel kick to the head and covers for 2. Briscoe works him over with chops as the announcers remind us ROH may be the last real tag team promotion in the business. Titus hits a really nice dropkick, and he's so happy about it he takes off his bowtie and throws it out of the ring. Titus is rolling now and King + his female friend are pleased as punch. Crowd chants MAN UP in response. Titus hits a thumb to the eye and does a triangle choke on the ground. We get the weirdest BOO/YAY ever - the boos are for the kicks to the face, the yays are for the headbutts from Mr. Briscoe. There's another boo and yay a couple minutes later. King tries to interfere on the outside but is pulled off. Mark hits a superkick and the DRILLER FOR THREE. Your WINNER: MARK BRISCOE.

Balls Mahoney: "New York has THE BIG BALLS tonight." Prince Nana: "BALLS? I didn't come to New York City for BALLS! The Embassy, we're all about big balls, and my friend, you're going to find out the hard way."

* Erick Stevens & The Necro Butcher (w/ Prince Nana) vs. Grizzly Redwood & Balls Mahoney

Heels come out first. Grizzly Redwood comes out to hype up the crowd, then Balls Mahoney's music plays and he comes out swinging a chair in the air. WE'VE GOT THE BIGGEST, BALLS OF THEM ALL. The New York crowd is definitely pleased. Things get started before the bell and the action spills outside to chants of E-C-W. Balls is taking beers from the crowd and throwing them into Stevens face at will, and the crowd is happily sacrificing their beverages to the cause. Grizzly is in control back in the ring. He goes up to the top rope for a crossbody, Stevens catches him and puts him on his shoulders, then throws him over the top rope to a waiting Necro Butcher for a punch. Back in the ring Edwards covers him for 2. The Embassy ambush Redwood on the outside and throw him back in for two chokeslams and a clothesline from Butcher before Mahoney makes the save. Stevens comes back in for another near fall.  Redwood fights out of a vertical suplex into a sleeper hold but Stevens falls back into the turnbuckle to shake him loose. Stevens escapes and Balls gets the hot tag as the crowd chants BALLS for a series of punches. Even Ernesto Osiris gets one for his trouble. Suplex on Butcher, Spinebuster on Stevens for 2! Butcher breaks it up. Clusterfuck - all four men are in the ring. Redwood hits a DDT, Stevens kicks him in the face, Balls throws him out. Balls gives Grizzly an assist over the top for a splash. Mahoney goes to the top rope for a diving headbutt on Butcher. 1, 2, NO! Nana broke up the ref's count. Balls tries to get Nana, but the Embassy make the save and a leg sweep leads to the 3 count. WINNERS: ERICK STEVENS & NECRO BUTCHER.

* Steve Corino & Kevin Steen vs. Colt Cabana & El Generico (Double Chain Match)

Before the match we're told there will be a coin flip to determine who gets chained to who, and that this match could be VERY BLOODY. The babyfaces win the coinflip and Generico wants to be chained to Steen! Steen is tickled pink because that's just what he wanted. All four men engage in tug of war on their respective chains after the bell. Faces toss both the heels outside. Kevin Kelly reminds us that it's first pinfall to a win. Heels come back in and it's a series of babyface fired up punches followed by a wind up elbow. Double dropkicks send both heels out to the floor. Generico whips Steen into the barricade with his chain. Steen tries to break a bottle over Generico's head and misses. Both men get back in the ring. Generico hits him with a series of clotheslines. Generico bounces Steen's head off the turnbuckle then ties the chain around it to send Steen's head into it repeatedly. Corino has wrapped a chain around Cabana's face on the outside. Cabana and Corino get back into the ring. Generico has a chain around Steen's neck on the outside and he's BITING HIS FOREHEAD.

Steen is already a bloody mess and getting bloodier by the minute. Generico looks down proudly at the blood on his hands. Back in the ring Cabana is punching Corino with a chain in the corner. Corino is now bleeding too. Both men get up slowly in the middle of the ring looking at each other's bloody faces, then the babyfaces whip them together for a noggin knocker. All four men are down momentarily. Steen looks at his own blood in his hand. Cabana's now bleeding too from a shot to the head. Steen is choking Generico with a chain as the other two brawl outside. Generico is fighting back for all he's worth but Steen keeps overpowering him. Steen puts the chain around his leg and puts a knee into Generico's face. The crowd chants MR. WRESTLING. Corino gets a chair and throws it at Cabana. Corino puts the chair into Cabana's mouth and pulls back on his head. Meanwhile Steen is doing a chainwrap assisted SHARPSHOOTER and the crowd is marking out for it. Cabana makes the save. All four men are doing a stacked up spot in the corner but Generico gets out of it and hits a suplex into the turnbuckle! That gets a huge OLE singing chant from the crowd.

Generico and Steen spill out to the floor. Cabana ties Corino into a tree of woe. Generico goes top rope! Cabana holds up a chair. I thought we'd get a Van Terminator but instead Generico lept off the turnbuckle to the floor, while Cabana crowned Corino with the chair. The apron is stripped off the timekeeper's table. Corino and Cabana brawl outside. Steen and Generico brawl on the apron. Steen sets Generico on the top rope. Generico fights him off. Steen falls onto the table. Steen yanks Generico OFF using the chain and he goes flying through!! HOLY SHIT chant. Boo and YAY punches in the middle of the ring. Steen is trying to interfere but Generico is yanking on his chain to keep him from reaching Cabana. Corino sends his son in to cut the chain so Generico can't hold him down. Steen picks up Cabana for the package piledriver! The crowd chants KILL THE KID at Corino's son. Corino is freed from his chain too. Cabana is tied up by both chains and can't get free, one arm on each ringpost. WRONG TIME FOR THE VIDEO TO FREEZE. Playback finally resumes at 9:02 ET with Cabana still tied up. Generico gives Steen a SUPLEX INTO A SET UP CHAIR IN THE RING. Steen gets up on the apron and Generico throws the chair in his face and then does a flip dive to the outside! Cabana gives Corino a powerbomb and cinches up the BILLY GOAT'S CURSE for the submission. WINNERS: COLT CABANA AND EL GENERICO. Afterward Steen rips off Generico's mask, paints a chair with blood in the middle of the ring, spelling out MR. WRESTLING just like on his t-shirt, and Corino's son looks on wearing the shirt. The crowd chants KILL THE KID again. Steen leaves wearing the mask, satisfied he recreated what his shirt looked like. They send in a towel boy to clean up the blood.

Jim Cornette and Davey Richards interview segment. Cornette wants him to comment on his plans to retire by the end of the year. Richards: "I look at wrestling different than most people. It was never a hobby, or something to do, or a way to get out of a small town or get attention. I'm very connected to wrestling. Most of my family is dead and the family that raised me, that was our bond. I've consumed my life with wrestling. I found jiu-jitsu and fell in love with it too, I like that one on one combat, that will always be in my blood. I met this woman, and it was time to get off the road, but the hooks are still in wrestlng. People still chant BEST IN THE WORLD at me but I've never held the hardware. So that's it - Final Battle is my final battle. My mom is a lovely lady but she has addiction problems, and she's affected by it. There's times she's there and there's times she's not. 'Son I haven't always been there for you, but wrestling always has. You didn't choose wrestling - it chose you.' That hit home. Is this me? Is this my destiny?"

Cornette: "So Davey I've got to ask you, what does that mean for your future?" Richards: "I'm not going anywhere. This is what I was meant to do Jim. I lost everything, my marriage, my grandparents, my family - and wrestling remains. I am a wrestler. I'm proud to be here and be part of this company. It's time for me to take my place at the top of the mountain. I'm not going anywhere until I win the belt. Even if it's just one time. 15 years, surgeries, deaths, failed relationships, this is not me this is not a character I play. This is here. I don't want it out of my blood. I'm going to Japan, to Canada, to find the best, to be the best, and I will be a champion again." Cornette: "We're going to enjoy seeing you in 2010, 2011, a driven individual who wants to be the best in the world." We go to another video promoting Glory By Honor IX afterward and Terry Funk: "I'm meaner than a rattlesnake! New York City, here I come!" Kings of Wrestling video package follows that. They must be airing these videos to stall for time to fix the live stream. Hero and Castagnoli put over WGTT and say they can't wait because they've beaten everybody else, so they want to face a super tough team. Hero: "We are the greatest of all time. We are the best in Ring of Honor history." Next the Tyler Black ROH on HDNet promo about going to WWE airs. "Nobody outbids a billionaire from Connecticut. When I leave I'm taking THIS" (holds up the ROH World Title) "with me!!"

Video package from GFL promoting their live events follows, and we go back to the venue with the GFL logo over the Ring of Honor ring. Must be intermission in New York City. I imagine a lot of people are buying Kevin Steen t-shirts right now. Kevin Kelly: "If you missed any of the action, don't worry about it, you'll be able to watch it in the comfort of your home." Does that mean we get a free replay for all the technical issues? Jim Cornette comes out. "I don't want to take up too much time but I do want to relay a message from none other than the American Wolf Davey Richards. He wanted to be here tonight but he's on tour for New Japan Pro Wrestling." He's basically recapping the video we saw earlier for the live crowd, so there's no need for me to do so here. Bottom line - Davey Richards is STAYING in ROH.

* Eddie Edwards {C} vs. Shawn Daivari (w/ Prince Nana)

Prince Nana cuts a promo for the live crowd before Edwards comes out, calling Balls Mahoney "Mahogany Balls." The crowd responds with a hearty SHUT THE FUCK UP and they ROAR with approval when Edwards' music hits. Ugh, the commentary is super quiet for a minute, then SUPER loud, then goes back to normal. Make up your minds people! As the bell rings we get a closeup of the ROH TV title, which is on the line in this match. Edwards takes the left arm and takes control early. Daivari reverses it and posts him into two different turnbuckles before taking his head off with a flying leg. Big chops in the corner. Edwards fights back with an enzuguiri before being thrown shoulder first into the post... AND the video freezes again for a few seconds, Daivari goes outside to work him over. The announcers sell it like his left shoulder is dislocated and Daivari is putting all his pressure on it when they get back in the ring. Crowd responds FUCK HIM UP EDDIE FUCK HIM UP.

Edwards fulfills their wishes by hitting a top rope superplex leaving both men down. Daivari spills outside and Edwards hits a dive into him that sends him crashing into the barricade. Nana exhorts Daivari to get up. Edwards throws him back in. Missile dropkick and leg lariat for 2. The web stream is frozen. It's not like I'm on a dial-up here, this is a high speed cable modem. AND NOW THE SCREEN IS BLACK. Oh joy. A minute later we're back and Edwards kicks Daivari in the face for a near fall. Daivari hits a kick to the face and goes for a near fall. Edwards responds with an achilles lock, Nana interferes unsuccessfully, Edwards locks it in a second time, Daivari taps! WINNER BY SUBMISSION AND STILL ROH TELEVISION CHAMPION: EDDIE EDWARDS. Well at least we got to see the finish. Nana is pissed. The crowd taunts him with a "you fucked up chant" and applauds Edwards for retaining the gold.

* 'A-Double' Austin Aries vs. 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels

Aries is not overly hated in New York, but Daniels is BELOVED. He gets the full blown multi-color streamer treatment. Aries gras a mic. "Alright, alright, alright." He signals for silence and the FALLEN ANGELS chants get even louder. "Do me a quick favor, could you all just shut your mouth! Considering the date and the location I had to lobby hard to get a live mic in my hand. I'm going to spread a little knowledge here. It's a very little known fact the term A-Double came from Christopher Daniels. To repay the favor we should call you a CD, because much like a CD, a lot of people think you're obsolete these days! I disagree though because we have something in common. Tonight ladies and gentlemen we have an opportunity that you're still one of the best in the world, and I'm still the greatest who ever lived, so what do you say KID, let's steal the show and may the best man win!"

Aries follows the Code of Honor by offering a handshake, then breaks it by trying to cheat and get a roll up from it. Aries takes Daniels down and spins around his back like he's going for a jiu-jitsu submission, then steps out of the ring and celebrates like he's already won to boos. Aries takes him over with 3-4 armdrags when he comes back in and works over Daniels' left arm. We're reminded Daniels took Black to a time limit draw last night. Daniels has Aries ground now although he does a headstand and pops up, but Daniels hits him in the chin and does an armdrag of his own, and then we get a little shoving match. Aries calls for a break and offers another handshake. Daniels is not a sucketwice so he yanks the arm. They wind up on the apron and Daniels snaps his neck off the ropes for two as Todd Sinclair looks on. Arabian moonsault for 2. We've now got loud dueling chants for both men! Aries gets Daniels in the ropes and turns him around to snap his neck whiplash style, then jumps off to send CD's shoulder into the guardrail on the floor. We're reminded ROH has a 20 count on the outside, and while they take advantage of that I'm gonna go get a Coke. Lady J informs me Daniels went for the Angel's Wings and Aries blocked it. Daniels goes for a split legged moonsault to the floor and misses, then Aries connects with a heat seeking missle dropkick!

Back in the ring Aries connects with anotherdropkick, but Daniels takes over, running his head into the turnbuckle and rolling on top for a near fall. Both fight for leverage in the center and Daniels hits a leg trip into a near fall. KOJI CLUTCH. Aries gets a foot on the ropes for a clean break as one lone fan chants U-F-C. Aries hits a CRUCIFIC DRIVER AND A BRAINBUSTER back to back... DANIELS KICKS OUT! Aries hits the 450 SPLASH AND DANIELS KICKS OUT AGAIN! He's arguing with Sinclair that it was 3. Kevin Kelly isn't that bad on commentary (he's a lot better than Michael Cole) but I'd still prefer Hog and Prazak calling this match. Daniels and Aries fight on the top rope and Daniels is able to crotch him. ANGEL'S WINGS OFF THE TOP RIGHT AS THE VIDEO FREEZES! Did Fallen Angel win? Did Aries kick out? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS! Wait the video is coming back... ONE, TWO, THREE! Daniels won the match. As soon as they showed the pinfall and we heard the announcement, GFL fast-forwarded back to live action. Time for our co-main event of the evening, the one I've been waiting for!

* The Kings of Wrestling {C} (Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero) vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin)

We're treated to a rendition of the K-O-W theme song LIVE and it's as good if not better than any of R-Truth's live raps. The lights go down, the spotlights come on, and HERE COMES HAAS AND BENJAMIN. They can't come out to Kurt Angle's music but T-N-T was a nice substitution. TONS OF STREAMERS greet them when they enter the ring. Kevin Kelly: "In 19 years I've never seen anything like that moment right there." Dueling chants are cranked up to the max. WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM, KINGS - OF - WREST-LING! You wouldn't think those things would syncopate into a crowd chant but these pumped up New York fans made it work. Shoving match between the two sides before the bell can even ring to get the action started. The ref calls for one man on each side to step out.

Shelton Benjamin and Claudio Castagnoli lock up to start off! The two fight to a standstill and Benjamin slaps Claudio in the face. He responds with a European uppercut and goes for a suplex. Benjamin blocks in and gives him one of his own! Hero tags in to a loud chant from the crowd to try his luck. He shoots for an amateur takedown and winds up being cradled for a near fall. Benjamin pushes him into the corner, the ref calls for a clean break, and Haas made the tag while they were in the corner. Hass gives Hero a couple of chops and Hero hits one of his own. Claudio blind tags in and tries a roll-up for two. Haas outwrestles Castagnoli on the mat and he goes to the ropes for a break. Armdrags by Haas. Benjamin tags in. The announcers argue about whether or not WGTT are even greater now than they were back then. Benjamin does a springboard flip off the ropes to work Claudio's arm. Claudio tries to monkeyflip him, Benajmin lands on his feet. Benjamin does it too, Claudio goes flying, and a dazed Castagnoli tags Hero as he falls down. Great spot!

Hero starts hitting boots on everybody and gets in the ring. Will we see a KRS-One? No! Haas gets in the ring and we almost get the WGTT double team finisher but the Kings bail out to the floor. Benjamin and Haas take the center as the Kings recover outside and we have another dueling chant. Hero and Haas get the center and Hero gets the best of him. Lady J: "So who are the heels here?" Me: "In theory the Kings are, but they're so good at what they do they're beloved." Claudio gives an assist from the outside and rings the bellof Haas, but he still kicks out before 3. Hero tries to wear him down with a facelock to no avail. Hero knocks him down with a tackle, grabs a leg, and tags Castagnoli back in, who works Haas over with knees to the back. Benjamin desperately wants back in. Haas hits a t-bone suplex and pops the crowd, and they get even louder when Benjamin makes the hot tag! Before he can get rolling though he's low bridged out to the floor.

Hero and Benjamin brawl on the outside before Hero crashes him hard into the barricade and feeds him back in to a waiting Castagnoli. "Claudio probably watched his friend Federer play earlier today, just a few blocks down the street." Perhaps he did! Claudio and Benjamin brawl in the corner, but Castagnoli seems to get the better of it. Power snap suplex for 2. Claudio tags in the fresh man Hero and he works Benjamin over as the crowd claps for him to get back up. Hero hits 5-6 knees to the forehead but Benjamin still kicks out at 2. Castagnoli tags back in. This match is following the classic old school tag team formula - two men win on one, and later one man will win on two. The heels goad Haas into stepping in then double team Benjamin while Paul Turner's back is turned. LET'S GO BENJAMIN. LET'S GO HERO! Crowd is not losing their energy one bit. Castagnoli tags back in before Benjamin can get on offense and they try to double team, but Benjamin drops BOTH men to the mat. Before he can get up and make the tag Castagnolig grabs the ankle and pulls. Benjamin finally kicks him off and here comes THE HAAS OF PAIN.

Hero is down and out on the floor. Haas is hitting suplexes every which way from loose - releases, Germans, you name it. Blind tag by Benjamin, Haas sends his opponent flying, Benjamin catches him and slams him down for 2. Haas is sent into the steel outside. Benjamin hits a jawbreaker on  the inside. Benjamin is thrown into a knockout elbow by Hero but KICKS OUT AT 2.9999!! Elbow to the back of the head - 1, 2, NO! The crowd could lose their shit at any moment. Hero charges across the ring to splash Benjamin, but Benjamin recovers and staggers Hero with a spinning head kick! Benjamin tags Haas in and they get to do their double team spot on the ropes that was avoided earlier. As soon as they hit it THE VIDEO FREEZES AGAIN. It comes back 15 seconds later and we fast forward to live action again. Benjamin leaps to the top rope and sends Castagnoli FLYING with a suplex! Crowd is loudly chanting R-O-H. Haas APPLIES THE HAAS OF PAIN TO CASTAGNOLI. Hagadorn gives the loaded elbow pad to Hero. HERO CONNECTS! Castagnoli is rolled on top for the cover. WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: THE KINGS OF WRESTLING.

Benjamin and Haas brawl with the Kings after the match. Hero goes for the loaded elbow a second time but Haas and Benjamin counter with DOUBLE RELEASE GERMANS. The Kings bail and the fans chant WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM and PLEASE COME BACK. Meanwhile Hero's flunkie Hagadorn has been left behind. He begs forgiveness and Benjamin gives him a bitch slap and the WGTT STRIP HIM TO HIS BRIEFS. Benjamin WHIPS HIM WITH HIS OWN BELT. Haas goes top rope! FLYING ELBOW TO THE NUTS. WGTT stand tall on the corners of the ring as TNT plays. The Kings left their belts behind in their zeal to escape so WGTT pose with them for a second with a "Who knows?" look on their faces.

* Tyler Black {C} vs. Roderick Strong (w/ Truth Martini) - Terry Funk as the Special Guest Enforcer

The video freezes for a second but Tyler Black is greeted with a YOU SOLD OUT chant when he finally comes out. He also gets booed when he's announced as the Ring of Honor World Champion. Jim Cornette joined the commentary position while the video was frozen, because we hear him saying "Black's not the most popular man in New York right now!" Martini shouts at them "Next world champion right here!" Cornette: "Truth Martini, I think he's had a few today. If the referee in the ring can't keep control, Terry Funk will take over." DUELING CHANTS. I guess Black still has a FEW supporters left. Black and Strong brawl on the outside, and Terry Funk gives him a dirty look when he wipes out Strong on the barricade. Black throws him back in for a near fall then hits him with a series of punches to the head. Rolling near falls on the mat. Up in the rafters of the Manhattan Center is a long banner reading SHELTON RULZ. Black feels he's so far ahead he starts facewashing Strong with a boot, but Strong recovers and brawls with him some more. Black overpowers him again and puts a boot to his throat in the corner, then punches him down to the ground. Snapmare, kick to the shoulders, near fall.

Strong crawls to the corner to recover, and Black goads the crowd into booing him some more, then signals like he's going to hit a kick. Strong hits two of his own including a jumping knee and then knocks Black down with a flying forearm. Black escapes from double underhooks, counter, double counter, forearm smash, FREEZE. Fireman's carry into a double knee gutbuster followed by Black doing a YOU CAN'T SEE ME for the Ring of Honor crowd. They are LIVID with hatred for Black right now. STF is applied but Strong gets a rope break. Black misses with a shot off the ropes but connects with a kick to the head as he cartwheels to his feet. Chants of LETS GO TYLER and TYLER SUCKS as he hits a superplex for 2.9. THE REF IS DOWN OFF A SUPERKICK. Terry Funk pulls him up and throws him out of the ring, taking off his suit and his t-shirt to reveal REFEREE STRIPES underneath. The crowd is nuts for this! Package driver for a near fall.

Black sets Roderick on the top rope, kicks him in the head, hangs him in the Tree of Woe and misses with a double stomp on his head which Strong IMMEDIATELY turns into the STRONGHOLD. Will Tyler tap? No! Small package by Black - 1, 2, NO! Strong gets another cover - 1, 2, NO! HOUSE OF TRUTH RUN IN - FUNK BEATS THEM ALL UP. Martini tries to sneak in the ring while Funk is distracted - Funk catches him in the act! Martini is backing up and begging off but Funk whips him over the top rope!!! Black hits a superkick, two buckle bombs, another superkick, and goes top rope for a splash but misses! Strong kicks him in the back of the head, hits double knees to the back, double knees to the front, and a kick to the face, rolling him up for THREE!! YOUR WINNER AND NEW ROH WORLD CHAMPION: RODERICK STRONG! Cary Silken comes out to congratulate him. Truth holds up his arms in celebration. Strong offers Tyler Black a handshake as the fans chant THANK YOU TYLER.

Black refuses a handshake. The lights go out but the audio's still on. HOMICIDE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I just got cold chills all the way up and down my spine. THE ENTIRE BUILDING IS GOING CRAZY. He bops his way to the ring to his Beanie Sigel theme son , takes off his bandana, hangs it on the turnbuckle, takes off his hat, and walks over to get in the face of the champ. Strong holds up the belt and shouts at him, and the two keep yelling at each other as we near 11 EST. Are we going off the air with this? Homicide takes off his chain... AND WE FADE TO BLACK. Good night from New York!
