What you may have missed this weekend - our Smackdown Recap, our MFC 26 Recap, Over the Top Radio w/ Kizarny, Saturday's news, our LIVE ROH Glory By Honor IX and Shark Fights 13 Recap, and so much more! Tonight we'll have a ROH Recap, a new Ian Clark Raw Recap at 9:15 ET and Frank Vaughn's AMP Raw Reaction at 11:30 ET. With all of that out of the way here's Monday's latest news!

A sad note to start out with this Monday - R.I.P. Mike Shaw, who many of you probably remember better as Norman the Lunatic or Bastion Booger. He had a heart attack on Saturday and passed away this weekend at the age of 53. Our condolences to his family, friends and his fans worldwide. (S!W)

Apparently Team 3D renewed their TNA contracts because they have been announced for the September TNA events in New York City, Philadelphia & Rahway, New Jersey. They will be facing Ink Inc. on these shows. (PWI) Others are saying they only agreed to work the Northeast dates without a contract.

Speaking of those Northeast shows, Tommy Dreamer will be making his TNA house show debut in NYC taking on Abyss in a Monster's Ball match. Mick Foley will be the special guest referee for the match, and he'll also be on the Philadelphia & Rahway shows. (PWI)

Here are the cards (subject to change) for the Northeast shows we're talking about, which TNA promoted in a press release this weekend. (PWI)

Sept. 23rd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, NY:

* Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson
* Abyss vs. Tommy Dreamer in a Monster's Ball Match with Special Referee Mick Foley
* RVD informed TNA Management that he will be at the Hammerstein for revenge
* Team 3D vs. Ink Inc. in a Tables Match
* Angelina Love vs. Tara for the Knockouts Championship
* Jay Lethal vs. Amazing Red
* Also appearing: Rhino and The Pope D'Angelo Dinero

Sept. 24th at The Arena in Philadelphia, PA:

* Tag Team Grudge Match with Special Referee Mick Foley - Abyss and A.J. Styles vs. Tommy Dreamer and a partner of his choice
* RVD wants revenge yadda yadda yadda
* Jeff Hardy vs. The Pope D'Angelo Dinero
* Team 3D vs. Ink Inc. in a Tables Match
* Angelina Love vs. Tara for the Knockouts Championship

For the first time ever the Motor City Machine Guns main event a TNA house show against Beer Money (and won) in Toledo, Ohio this weekend. Kurt Angle came out to congratulate them afterward. (WO)

WWE officials report Matt Hardy was sent home from Smackdown's European tour over the weekend. WWE has been concerned about his condition and apparently there was an event backstage on Saturday that caused them to ship him home. He previously left a house show early in White Plains, New York last week after there was concern about his condition backstage. That night he was scheduled to team with R-Truth against CM Punk & Luke Gallows, but after officials spoke to him, Matt left and never returned. (PWI) UPDATE: Matt Hardy has given his side of the story in a YouTube video found HERE.

Given that John Cena's new film Legendary was given a limited release this weekend, the fact that it only did $135,210 in a total of 177 theaters (an average of $764 per) may not sound so bad. The problem is this was only good for #12 on the Limited Release Chart and WELL below what WWE Films was projecting for the weekend. (BO)

Jerry 'The King' Lawler announced on this weekend's Memphis Wrestling TV show that it was in fact the last episode. (PWI)

Chad Ochocinco still plans to appear on Raw tonight despite the Cincinnati Bengals losing to the New England Patriots - though I'm not sure why PWI or anybody else thought he would just sulk at home instead. Also scheduled for tonight - the return of the Raw Roulette wheel and John Cena vs. Randy Orton. (WWE)

For those wondering the mystery woman with the All Night Express at ROH Glory By Honor IX over the weekend was New England area wrestler Taelor Hendrix. Also noteworthy from the show - some fans who bought reserve seats were told that they couldn't enter the building because it was full and their seats were taken. Turned away fans were given $40-$60 for their trouble - greater than the value of their tickets. (PWI)

Daniel Bryan was victorious in his New York Wrestling Connection appearance over the weekend, teaming with Tony Nese to defeat Dimitrios Papadon & Alex Reynolds. (PWI)

Chris Jericho will appearing at the FYE at the Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati, Ohio today at 2 PM ET to sign copies of Fozzy's newest album. (PWI)

Another sad news item to report - retired luchador Arturo 'La Fiera' Casco died early yesterday morning at the age of 49 after being stabbed five times. Casco was once a lucha libre star in Mexico during his prime, but fell off due to major drug issues and had a stint in jail during the 90's for drug dealing. (PWI) Our condolences to all of his family, fans and friends.

Former NXT season 2 rookie Titus O'Neil was on the Florida Gator sidelines at the Florida vs. South Florida college football game this weekend. (PWI)

Here are the latest updates to the WWE Classics On Demand service. (PWI)

* The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection (Parts 3 and 4)
* Starrcade 1985

Here are some notes from this weekend's Wrestling Renion event in Rahway, New Jersey: WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel opened the event and served as the master of ceremonies, Mil Mascaras threw one of his signature masks to the crowd and sold others for $200 a piece, Tatsumi Fujinami brought his old WWWF Light Heavyweight championship belt along with him, a film crew shot footage for a documentary on the life of Baron Von Raschke, and another film crew followed around Dawn Marie for a potential reality TV show pilot on TLC. (PWI)

The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame will be holding a fundraiser in Carteret, New Jersey on October 20th with Dominic DeNucci, Johnny Rodz, Manny Soto, Pete Sanchez, Pete Reeves, Larry Sharpe, "Doink" Ray Appolo, Referee Dick Woehrle, Referee Billy Caputo, JJ Dillon, Nikolai Volkoff, Davey O'Hannon, The Headbangers, Cousin Luke and more. Tickets will be $60 and include a buffet dinner and poster, with proceeds to benefit the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum. All of the details are available HERE.

Combat Zone Wrestling out of Philadelphia has started to sign their regular talent to contracts. The contracts don't prevent people from working elsewhere but do make those wrestlers available to CZW first. Drake Younger has been confirmed as among those who signed a deal. CZW's last event was this past Friday at The Arena in Philadelphia - the Chris Cash Memorial show. Homicide made his return on that show, and the company announced their Massachusetts debut as scheduled for October 16th. (PWI)

More Ring of Honor news following ROH Glory By Honor IX: there were no major injuries at the PPV this weekend, early indications are that this show will be one of their most successful i-PPV events, Cary Silken was very pleased, tickets for Final Battle at the Manhattan Center on December 18th are already on sale, Final Battle will be another iPPV and Davey Richards may be getting a world title shot that night, Balls Mahoney was a late replacement for Rasche Brown, Daniels faced Aries instead of Delirious because as booker he took himself off the card (originally Aries was going to put his career up against Delirious' second Daizee Haize), Adam Pearce originally planned to put Daniels in a three-way dance for the title after he won (but Roderick Strong was still winning the belt regardless), The Embassy were scheduled for a big push before Delirious got the book, Joe Dombrowski from IWC in Pittsburgh was the other announcer along with Kevin Kelly, and Homicide was brought into the show very late to try and keep the surprise. (PWI)

Ring of Honor sent out a press release today about Kenny King.

(Bristol, PA – September 13, 2010) Ring of Honor officials are excited to announce that we have come to terms with "The Pretty Boy Pitbull" Kenny King on a contract extension. One-half of The All Night Express, King has been a part of the ROH roster since "Motor City Madness 2007" and has slowly evolved into one of the most exciting in-ring performers around.

From exciting singles performances against the likes of Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson, and Jay Briscoe just this weekend, to his tag team success alongside "Addicted to Love" Rhett Titus, Kenny King has proven to be arguably the most athletically gifted wrestler in Ring of Honor. And with the likes of Austin Aries mentoring his career, King is certainly a future world champion.

"There are big things on the horizon for this talented young man." said ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette. "He is a stellar athlete with a tremendous upside. Despite his general attitude, we are excited to see what the future has in store for Kenny King here in ROH."

In addition ROH officials would also like to announce that, following a stellar outing against the aforementioned Austin Aries that saw him kick out of Aries' Brainbuster, independent standout Kyle O'Reilly has also been signed to a contract with Ring of Honor. This young man from Canada has been impressing people across the wrestling world in recent months, and has signed on to ROH for the foreseeable future. If he continues to impress as he did against a 2-time World Champion, O'Reilly has a bright future ahead of him.

Father James Mitchell a/k/a Sinister Minister was on LAW this weekend and has this to say about crafting his character.
You know it was nice to get paid but by nature I have an artistic performer's temperament and I want to create so yeah it was kind of rough but in fairness at the time when I came into WCW there were certain things I did well but certain other things I didn't get at the time. I can look back now and see where I made some tactical errors along the way. It wasn't as simple as ‘blood runs cold was stupid'. I had not mastered my craft at that point and for the first time in my life I had gone from doing independents and stuff where nobody knows what they're doing and running around like a chicken with their head cut off to being in a big professional organization, which was the top wrestling company in the U.S at the time in WCW. I was in the right place at the wrong time with the wrong skill set however, the two years that I sat on the sidelines gave me a lot of time to reflect and look back at what I may have done wrong or could have done better when I wasn't stuck in the middle of the machine where you can't see the forrest from the trees so getting back and reflecting a bit I made some adjustments and those were brought to the table as the Sinister Minster. I learned a lot of cool stuff working under (Paul) Heyman in ECW and then when I went to TNA I refined certain things more and more, my look and my promos and stuff. It was actually in TNA where I reached that moment and 'I finally get it' and the clouds parted and the big ray of light shone down and the choir of angels began to sing and I can now do this on command and not just by accident so it was an interesting growing and learning process over the years.

You can listen to the interview HERE (right click to save).

There's a confusing mishmash of lawsuits going on right now over counterfeit WWE merchandise. A French company named Sun City is suing WWE for $21.6 million over bogus goods, and WWE is suing a Portugal based company named J.F. Ramos for essentially the same amount plus legal costs blaming them for the bad goods Sun City got. To try and make sense of the whole thing, The Republican American has an article up about all of the lawsuits HERE.

GoFightLive sent out this e-mail today to purchasers of the ROH Glory By Honor IX PPV.

Thank you for purchasing the Ring of Honor ‘Glory by Honor IX' show. GoFightLive.tv was the broadcaster of this event. As you know, we experienced technical difficulties during the show that caused the live stream to halt and at times become jittery, causing our viewers to miss some of the action. These technical problems were caused by a new piece of hardware we introduced into our broadcast system.

We have an initial version of the show available now. We are working to insert the missing video portion and our goal is to provide you with a complete video by Wednesday.

Ring of Honor produces high quality events, and this technical issue was GoFightLive's problem alone, not ROH's. We are working to ensure that this problem never occurs again at any GoFightLive event by analyzing and fixing the faulty piece of hardware.
