Wednesday's news is HERE. It's another busy day on AngryMarks.com! Don't miss WWE Superstars at 8 PM ET, Thursday Night AMP w/ Paul Lazenby at 9 ET and Mike Poulin's TNA Impact Recap at 11:30 ET! With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Thursday's latest news.

The WrestleReunion honoring Bruno Sammartino on Sunday morning will be his last public appearance outside of Pittsburgh. Scheduled to appear with him are Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Cowboy Bob Orton, Kamala, Mickie James, Carlito, Scott Steiner, Tommy Dreamer, Katie Lee Burchill (Winter in TNA) and Christy Hemme. All of them will take photos and sign autographs before attending a special luncheon in Bruno's honor. Charlie Haas, Lita, Jackie Gayda-Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Terri Runnels, New Jack, Daffney, Raven, Dutch Mantell will all be there in some capacity as guests or vendors as well. For more details and ticket prices visit the official WrestleReunion website. The event will end early enough for you to still make it to the Georgia Dome at WrestleMania 27 and not miss a thing.

Here are some miscellaneous Thursday links: The Globe Gazette interviews Sonny Onoo, Ringside Collectibles launches their WrestleMania sale, Creative Loafing interviews Cowboy Bob Orton, CL interviews Bruno Sammartino too, Snooki gets booed at the WrestleMania press conference and The Phoenix New Times checks in on Superstar Billy Graham.

Thiago Silva has an explanation for cheating at UFC 125.

I do want to explain the circumstances behind my actions. Please do not interpret this as an attempt to justify my actions. I know they were wrong, and I know I made bad decisions, and I know I deserve to be punished. That is why I began my statement with an admission and an apology before going into these details. This is not an excuse, only an explanation. I reinjured my back 45 days before the fight with Brandon Vera. After not fighting for a year, I made the decision to not pull out of the fight. I also decided that the only way I could continue with the fight was to take injections in my back and spine that contained substances prohibited by the Nevada (State) Athletic Commission. I also made the decision to use a product to hide the presence of these substances in a urine test. Again, I take full responsibility for making the decision to break the rules and try to cheat the system. I will accept the punishment I receive and will learn from this. I plan to come back as a better person and professional as a result.

He goes on to say he'll accept any punishment the NSAC hands down.

Former WWE creative team member John Piermarini claims that Randy Orton is being held back by WWE and hasn't become the superstar he could be. Here's an excerpt.

Randy - and it's not his fault because it's us not giving it to him - but Randy doesn't have the chance to do that. Randy has done amazing with his character and I'm amazed with Randy almost every single week. I wish we gave him more to work with to really sort of get him into that creative sort of bad-ass yet PG Stone Cold. By no means do we want to make him Stone Cold Steve Austin, but that's what made Stone Cold cool was doing those things, driving the beer truck. I wish they would give him things to do like that.

WWE's Smackdown taping on July 19th will be held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (PWI)

WWE's Kofi Kingston DVD which only aired on PPV in the States will be packaged with the new issue of WWE Magazine in the United Kingdom. (PWI)

WWE plans to return to the Atlantic Pavilion in Lisbon, Portugal on November 13th of this year for a 6 PM show. (PWI)

Ever wanted to see 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin vs. 'Straight Edge' CM Punk? Now you can thanks to WWE All Stars and Heyman Hustle. In fact Paul Heyman got both men so fired up with this video they started arguing about it on Twitter. Now obviously it's just a huge publicity stunt to promote the game, but the video is cool and the tweets are fun to read.

Speaking of some fun videos (well except arguably the first one) here are some new features from AMP TV: WWE NXT for March 29th, the WrestleMania 27 press conference, the Road Warriors induction video package and the Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Triple H segment on Raw.

Bret Hart has a few thoughts on WrestleMania 27. We've included an excerpt below.

As for the actual line-up, it's been a slow build for much of the card, but for the past few weeks the promos and backstage situations seemed to be rather plain and flat, totally predictable. The Undertaker and Triple H segment with Shawn Michaels played out exactly like I expected, the usual smoke blowing up the rectum stuff, more grunts and then a staring contest, thank God Shawn was there just to add something, anything to it. I suppose there isn't much else these two legends can do as far as buildup goes but it came across to me as having little imagination, the match itself should be one of the better match ups because Taker brings it all the way for Wrestlemania and Triple H can turn it up when he wants to. Triple H has had some hard fought battles over the years, but I don't know if he's ever had his chance to literally blow them away at Wrestlemania but this might be his best chance. Taker, in my opinion, is truly one of the all-time best and time and time again, he has delivered the best match on the show so I expect a good solid match, old school but intense. It could steal the show.

The Rock's interview with Piers Morgan will air on CNN tonight. (PWI)

Rob Van Dam claims he's happier in TNA than he was in WWE. Well if he says so, I'll take him at his word. Apparently Hulk Hogan personally recruiting him was a big factor.

Due to an undisclosed injury Jon Fitch has dropped out of his UFC 132 rematch with BJ Penn. It's not yet clear if UFC will find a replacement or if Penn will accept a new fight.

Here are some more teasers The Rock gave MTV News for WrestleMania 27 this Sunday. (PWI)

"I'm going to take my fist and lay it across somebody's lips and take my boot — which is a size 14, so it's a big boot — and stick it straight up somebody's ass."

"Like with any show, like with any movie, you want to make sure the final five, 10 minutes of the show are worth every penny."

Here's a joint WWE and Make-A-Wish Foundation press release for WrestleMania 27.

1:00 AM ET. Surprise surprise, USA Network won the cable ratings race again for last week with a 2.5 prime time average, compared to a 1.9 for Disney in second place. (WO) Seems like the only time they don't win is during the NFL season - they should pray the lockout lasts.

The Rock was asked on Twitter if he got in trouble for cursing live on Raw. His response: "Why would I get fined by WWE? I never said bitches or ass, I said sumbitches and candy ass, big difference."

Diva Dirt interviews Trish Stratus. Well worth the click and read.

Speaking of excellent reads, Nickolye recapped week one of Ultimate Fighter: Lesnar vs. Dos Santos. Kudos sir!

And the hits just keep on coming as Chris Jericho blogs about why he did Dancing With the Stars. I can be a cynical bastard at times, but what he has to say about his son is genuinely heartfelt and touching.

Non-spoiler previews for WWE Superstars and TNA Impact are available at their respective links in this sentence.

NOON ET. Spanish language broadcasts of TNA Impact will start airing on MTV Tr3s this Friday at 11 PM ET. (PWI)

Thanks to The Miz, Conan O'Brien's website is now selling "The Ginga Ninja" t-shirts - a nickname Miz suggested for him during his appearance. (PWI)

Steve Austin tells ESPN.com the Tough Enough ring "got the wrestling out of my system." No match on Raw or PPV any time soon folks.

Apparently an impostor Dixie Carter, filling in for the real one on Twitter (who as noted earlier this week got suspended for a TOS violation), was so convincing she got Hulk Hogan to respond to her. TNA Wrestling promises to announce when Dixie's actual account is active again. (PWI)

More miscellaneous links! Jim Cornette discusses ROH in Atlanta, The Miami Herald talks to Colt Cabana, SportsRev.tv talks to Cena, The Miz and Triple H, Edge talks about concussions and the Wellness Policy and the latest blog update from Jim Ross. We've got a couple of excerpts from the latter below.

Seeing HBK go into the WWE HOF is going to be particularly gratifying to me. After seeing @ShawnMichaels_ break into the business in Mid South Wrestling, I've seen the best and the worst of HBK. Traveling to San Antonio to visit with him about coming back to WWE after his 4+ year hiatus due to a back injury was one of the most profound trips of my career. It's hard to believe that Shawn returned after such a long hiatus and from the first minute that he stepped back into the ring he was better than everyone else.

I have no 'assignment' for Sunday but I'm channeling Ricky Vaughn, Charlie Sheen's character in the film 'Major League,' and assuming the role of the relief pitcher while standing by in the bullpen and ready to 'throw the heater, Ricky' if needed.

Former WCW and WWE talent Ernest 'The Cat' Miller came to visit the WWE crew yesterday. (PWI)

WWE got the amount of additional mainstream press coverage they wanted today due to Snooki being at the press conference yesterday. (PWI)

WWE Raw will be held at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on August 22nd. The next night, Friday Night Smackdown will be taped at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. (PWI)
