Sunday's news is HERE. Happy 4th of July! I realize this may not apply to some of our international readers, but here in the U.S.A. it's a day of fun and fireworks. It's also a day of WRESTLING so stay tuned later tonight for Ian Clark's WWE Raw Recap at 9:15 ET. With that plug out of the way here's Monday's latest wrestling news!

It came out recently that WWE filed a trademark application for "The Last Outlaw." Coincidentally, WWEShop has an Undertaker shirt for sale with the same title. That should answer any questions for who and what the trademark was about.

Here are the WWE house show results from Perth, Australia for July 3rd: Rey Mysterio beat CM Punk, Kelly Squared & Beth Phoenix beat The Bellas, Zack Ryder beat Primo, Evan Bourne beat Jack Swagger, Nexus retained the tag belts against Santino & Kozlov, Alex Riley beat Miz with a spear through a table, and Cena retained the world title against R-Truth. (PWI)

In a new interview the Kingston Whig Standard, Billy Gunn says he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame. Of course he clarifies that as saying he should go in with Jesse James and Sean Waltman as part of D-Generation X, but it's still a self-promotional stance. He also says that he can "teach the young guys," but FIIK what.

Back to trademarks for a moment - WWE applied for a "CM Punk" trademark related to merchandising on June 22nd. (PWI)

Both Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan sent tweets yesterday saying they had a long trip (up to 30 hours) to Cape Town, South Africa. (PWI) OUCH.

Apparently due to a "financial disaster" Shad Gaspard's publisher for his graphic novel "Assassin and Son" went under, so he's looking for funds to publish it himself.

Val Venis claims he has been blackballed by WWE as a result of some of his comments on Twitter. (PWI)

There's a new wrestling promotion launching in Orlando that is sponsored by the Team 3D (TNA's Bubba Ray and Devon) Wrestling Academy. The name is QWEST Wrestling, their home will be the Downtown Rec Center, their first show is July 23rd and they've booked the following talent: Jesse Neal, Big Rob Terry and Jessie Godderz. The main event of their first show will be Terry vs. Godderz, with $12 ringside seats and $5 general admission. (PWI)

3:15 AM ET. You HAVE to see this wedding introduction video. About 90 seconds in it switches to the old PRIDE FC music, and out of nowhere Lenne Hardt busts in and starts announcing everybody in the bride and the groom's party, RRRRRROLLING HER RRR'S all the way through. Not only is it laugh out loud funny, half or more of the pictures are members of the wedding posing with wrestling personalities for pics - Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho and King Kong Bundy all make cameos.

Kofi Kingston has a new interview in the Sydney Morning Herald here.

This story is a bit bizarre, but as best I can follow it, Florida independent wrestler Ryze Woo (real name Justin Honeycutt) died in a tragic accident working his 9 to 5 job at the Magic Midway amusement park. He was suspended 90 feet in the air doing repairs on a ride when he slipped and fell, but according to the news report he only fell 6 feet and was caught by his safety harness. That shouldn't have been fatal, but apparently he was dead when firefighters were able to get to him and lower him down. (WO) Needless to say our condolences to his family, friends, and fans. If anybody has a better explanation what happened to Honeycutt in this accident, please let us know.

Here's a podcast called Kirby Your Enthusiasm which talks about Bruce Hart's book and WWE's tour of Australia.

Mick Foley will be in Williamsport, PA on July 9th for a minor league Williamsport Crosscutters baseball game. In exchange for an interview before the game, autographs and throwing out the first pitch, the Crosscuters are donating $500 to RAINN. (WO)

At the WWE house show in Perth, Australia fans were taunting John Cena with quips about how The Rock makes more money than he does. Cena then stopped and encouraged fans to film what he was about to say, and went on to cut a promo about how he's a full time pro wrestler and Rock's just an actor, and that nobody should for one second believe Rock has or ever will make a long-term return to WWE. (WO)

Here's a non-spoiler WWE Raw preview for tonight. (WWE)

* Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres vs. The Bellas
* Non-Title Match: Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga {C} vs. Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella
* Jack Swagger vs. Sgt. Slaughter
* R-Truth vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio
* Alex Riley vs. The Miz

1:00 PM ET. To celebrate the 4th of July and "the end of our legal battle with Ric Flair," Highspots is offering a buy one get one free sale and Flair's three disc shoot interview is part of it. Visit Highspots.com for details.

Here are some WWE house show results from Adelaide, Australia this weekend: Mysterio beat Punk, Kelly^2 & Beth Phoenix beat Bellas, Zack Ryder beat Primo, Evan Bourne beat Jack Swagger, Ziggles beat Kofi, Nexus beat Koz-Tino, A-Ri beat Miz, Cena beat Truth. (PWI)

The latest report on the death of Ryze Woo suggests he fell 90 feet, not 6 feet. (PWI) Amazing that this is such a simple detail to get right and two websites can have it completely different.

Speaking of stories that changed over night, QWEST out of Orlando is not actually being sponsored by Team 3D, just using talent from Team 3D's Wrestling Academy. Also Jesse Neal may or may not be signing autographs at their July 23rd show. (PWI)

Two more wrestlers are now campaigning for Arn Anderson to go into the HOF. Chris Jericho: "YES! Arn should be in the HoF for his personality alone! Funniest dude in wrestling- 'look at this swingin dick'." William Regal went into even greater depth.

By the way,I agree with @RandyOrton about AA.Another mentor of mine since I came to America.

I don't think that anyone from our generation hasn't learned or laughed with AA.

AA to Mideon"you don't just have the worst body in this business but in any business including marshmallow taster".

We endorse this campaign. 'The Enforcer' definitely deserves the honor.

Last but not least we have a new Mike Poulin ROH Champions Challenge review up for your perusal.
