Angrymarkette Newsfeed is dedicated to highlighting the news surrounding women's wrestling throughout the world, from Joshi Puroresu in Japan to USA to Lucha Libre in Mexico, Angrymarkette Newsfeed keeps you posted on everything that is happening in women's wrestling with results, upcoming events and rumors. Angrymarkette Newsfeed will be updated throughout the week so keep checking back for updates.

News Bits/Rumors:

*WWE Diva Kelly Kelly has been granted time off. The former WWE Divas Champion requested a break to recharge her batteries. The 25 year-old has been on the road with the WWE full-time since being signed in 2006. Speculation has already began that the former Maxim cover girl is planning an exit from the company, following the recent departures of The Bellas after an almost five year tenure with the company. Kelly has even been promoting herself under her real name Barbara"Barbie" Blank and is accepting bookings for appearances and endoresments outside of the WWE, even changing her bio on Twitter: “Barbie Blank/Kelly Kelly, WWE Diva, MAXIM Cover Girl and 100 Hottest Women. For full appearances/endorsements please contact Heidi at heidi@atamanagement.com.” The irony I find is that this rumor of K2 planning an "exit" from the WWE started a while back way before any news of Brianna and Nicole Garcia's departue came about. Spending six years of your adult life on the road constantly is hard on anybody, Kelly Kelly has literally grew up in front of the WWE Universe. No one knows at this time if Kelly justs wants a break to unwind or if she wants to branch out on her own, many former WWE Divas have complained about WWE holding them back in the past(Maria, Mickie James, etc). Whatever Barbie decides to do is her decision, its not up to anyone else.

Apparently SHIMMER and PWWA star Tenille Tayla never signed a WWE developmental contract. News broke last year that the would be future WWE Diva had been signed by the company after attending a tryout camp at FCW. Tenille's trainer Lance Storm cleared up the rumors after a fan asked him on Twitter about Tenille's signing, Storm admitted that Tenille was never signed. Not to long after her apparent "signing" Tenille announced that she was undergoing surgery for shoulder, a nagging injury that caused her problems throughout her career, this injury/surgery was the deal breaker forWWE(apparently). It was reported that Tenille was still reporting to FCW after her surgery, her return was supposed to be in January of 2012(need I say more?), this never came to be as she was not signed. This is beyond confusing because on one end you have sources saying its false she was never signed and then you have the other side saying she is still going to debut....If she is NOT signed its a pure disappointment, Tenille's beauty, skills and charisma screams WWE Diva, but I guess not. Former WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix is reportedly dating WWE Hall of Famer Edge. "The Glamazon" was recently linked to WWE Champion CM Punk.

Former WWE Diva and former TNA Knockout Sharmell was recently interviewed by WWE.com. Sharmell orignally began her career as "Storm" a member of the Nitro Girls in WCWbefore moving on into managerial role. The former Miss Black America(1991) has managed the likes of "The Artist," Kwee Wee, Meng and her husband Booker T and has even stepped into the ring a few times. On the Nitro Girls: "We had to be on point and perfect every night because we knew the whole world was going to see it. And every week we had a different [live] audience, so we never knew what to expect. All of that just added to the excitement of performing on Nitro. The electricity from the fans, the desire to be perfect … that’s what made the Nitro Girls so memorable." If the Nitro Girls have a place in modern day WWE: "I really think we were ground-breaking, especially in sports-entertainment. We had calendars, magazines and videos of our own. We really made an impact. There are a number of talented Divas competing today, but I really feel that a group like the Nitro Girls could bring an extra level of excitement to WWE." As a huge fan of the Nitro Girls, who wouldnt want to see Chae, Chameleon, Kimberly, Fyre, AC Jazz, Storm, Gold, Silver, Chiquita, Spice, Syren, Tayo, Whisper, Skye and Tygress in the WWE?

Brooke recently said that her new position in TNA will be temporary: “Secretly I always wanted to wrestle, even though I’m a total pansy. I cannot take a bump for the life of me, but I just saw the opportunity, and I was like ‘why not,’ you know, it’s temporary. I get to get in there and straighten a few things out, you know. I’m passionate about it, I’ve grown up in the business, and it’s fun.”
