Angrymarkette Newsfeed is dedicated to highlighting the news surrounding women's wrestling throughout the world, from Joshi Puroresu in Japan to USA to Lucha Libre in Mexico, Angrymarkette Newsfeed keeps you posted on everything that is happening in women's wrestling with results, upcoming events and rumors. Angrymarkette Newsfeed will be updated throughout the week so keep checking back for updates.

News Bits/Rumors:

*Former OVW Women's Champion Taeler Hendrix(Nicolye's favorite) was apart of this week's TNA Gut Check. A video package is shown with footage of some of Taeler's matches as well as her discussing being diagnosed with cancer at the age of twenty-one, she recently opened up about this and that she was misdiagnosed some many online reports say this information was inacurate but they are wrong....Taeler's opponent was former four-time TNA Knockouts Champion Tara, even though the match was not long Taeler did get over well with the crowd.  I really wish this match got some more time as opposed to Taeler getting beat up Tara for three minutes. If youre not too familiar with Taeler's work previous to her Gut Check, trained by Bob Evans, Taeler has appeared in Ring of Honor, NECW, and is a regular in OVW, check out some of her work on YouTube. Velvet Sky is featured in Montgomery Gentry's "So Called Life" music video, Sky portrays a single mom that tends to her son in the day and wrestles at night. Miss Tessmacher defended her TNA Knockouts Championship against Mickie James as apart of Open Fight Night, James was selected by Brooke Hogan earlier in the night to challenge the champion. There seems to be a heel turn brewing for James down the line, at this rate the division needs a change of pace and Mickie James turning heel could help. Taeler joined the Impact post show, fastforward to the fourteen minute mark.

*Beyond Wrestling has released a statement on the purchase of Women Superstars Uncensored. "Beginning this July, Beyond Wrestling will officially be taking over operations for Women Superstars Uncensored. What does this mean for the fans and wrestlers of WSU? Firstly – and most importantly – WSU will remain a separate brand with a continued focus on giving the most talented female professional wrestlers a platform to showcase their ability. There will be a stronger online presence, utilizing social media to provide fans with a more interactive experience, as well as classic matches and exclusive content. WSUWrestling.com will be totally revamped in the upcoming weeks. From here on out, all shows will be shot in high definition. Future events will be available as video-on-demand streams and MP4 downloads in addition to the current DVD and iPPV releases. Within the next year, there will be more live events than ever before in new markets throughout theNortheastern United States. For more information, please visit Beyond Wrestling’s website – www.LookMaNoFans.com – this Monday, June 18th, at 5PM. Beyond Wrestling officials will release a statement regarding the acquisition of Women Superstars Uncensored and unveil the new WSU logo at this time. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions, please email beyondwrestling@gmail.com. Thank you for your continued support."

WSU has also announced that Uncensored Rumble V is now available on DVD, there is two different versions to choose from, one being the IPPV version and the other is the deluxe version where the production is cleaned and has bonus materials. Another WSU Video is available on sale as former promoter Sean McCaffrey has a Shoot Interview DVD: "Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey, who announced he has sold WSU, will be finishing with WSU on 7/16/12, marking over 5 years of running, promoting and putting together WSU shows. In this 3+ hour shoot interview, Sean discusses everything that ever happened in WSU, dealing with talent, creating stars, booking, and everything else he dealt with during his run with the top womens wrestling promotion in America today. A variety of topics are discussed about the wrestling scene and everything that occurred in WSU. Nothing is off limits, and for people who really want an Uncensored recap of WSU, this is an interview you will not want to miss. This will be the only interview Sean does as everything is discussed in detail in this one-of-a-kind interview. As a bonus WSU Triple Crown Champion Alicia is the interviewer!!!"

*WSU Champion Jessicka Havok celebrated a birthday on Wednesday, Cyndi Lauper and Amber O'Neal celebrates a birthday this week as well, today. Happy Birthday Ladies!

* "Girl Dynamite" Jennifer Blake was asked why she turned on Courtney Rush at NEO Wrestling Federation's "Hart of Darkness" a few weeks back, Blake simply said "I turned on Courtney because she is a geek!!!  The girl has Zelda on her tights!  I cant be seen tagging next to someone like that. Psssh.. she will ruin my image."

*Apparently WWE has signed a new Diva to a developmental deal, there are numerous reports that WWE has signed California based wrestler Buggy Nova. Back in January Buggy Nova was evaluated by WWE officials before RAW and was invited to the Smackdown taping where she wrestled AJ in a try-out match. Buggy would receive another try-out match a month later, a few weeks ago Buggy announced that she was moving to Florida. Buggy recently debuted in SHIMMER on the SPARKLE pre-show and managed Christina Von Eerie on the indies, Nova has worked for NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood and Big Time Wrestling.  Speculation of her signing arose when Buggy appeared on recent FCW events under the name of Natalie, competing in a swimsuit contest and a danceoff.  If the rumors are true...Good Luck Buggy! Raquel Diaz has became he longest reigning FCW Divas Champion. Raquel broke Naomi's record of 189 days with 190 days. The third generation Diva captured the championship on December 15, 2011 from then champion Audrey Marie. Raquel recently debuted on the NXT tapings taking on fellow FCW Diva Paige. Shaul Guerrero(Raquel Diaz) is also the last Queen of FCW, its been since deactivated. Things look to be coming along for the young Guerrero.

In case youre still wondering where WWE Diva Eve has been as of late, Eve has busy filming for a new reality show called Stars Earn Stripes. Eve commented on the show via Twitter: "I am absolutely THRILLED to be a part of the Stars Earn Stripes Cast! I will be working with our nation's most elite heroes and competing to raise money for military and first responder charities. Not to mention… I will be shooting some MAJOR weapons! The two hour season premiere will air on NBC Monday, August 13th at 8/7c. Stay tuned!" Eve is set to make her return to RAW next week. Speaking of RAW, Vickie Guerrero will be Interim General Manager for both RAW and Smackdown next week, Guerrero broke the news on Twitter: "RAW and Smackdown next week...tune in!!! Vickie Guerrero shows how it's done as GM...sending thank you card to board of directors ASAP" Former WWE Diva Lauren Mayhew wants back int he WWE, after a fan tweeted that WWE should re-hire her Lauren suggested they start a campaign on Twitter to get her back. If you dont remember Lauren, she was a ring announcer for WWE in 2009 mostly on NXT back in 2009. After Lauren's short-term contract expired, she didnt renew. WWE.com published a list of WWE's "Craziest Chicks" The Gobbledy Gooker, AJ, Luna Vachon, Maxine, Mickie James, Bull Nakano, Victoria, Vickie Guerrero and Sherri Martel were included on the list. For some reason the list was later removed from the site.

*"First Lady of Ring of Honor" Maria Kanellis was recently interviewed by Kayfabe Wrestling Radio. Maria promoted ROH's "Best in the World 2012" coming up this weekend and also talked about her involvement in Crossfire Entertainment, getting back in the ring and women's wrestling. On getting back in the ring: "Well, Mike (Bennett) is the one that did it, because I was nervous about getting back in the ring. He really changed my opinion about a lot of things; I was feeling a bit insecure about getting back in the ring especially when there are all these tremendous indy wrestlers out there that can do so much more in the ring than I can. He said ‘you just have to keep back at it, and if you want to change that opinion and get better in the ring, then go do it. Rather than wishing you would have for the rest of your life, go out and do it; have good matches, try for some championships, see what you can do with this.' And it doesn't matter to me if it's in front of a hundred people or 20,000 people, what matters to me is that I get to do something I love and I get to get better at it." Her "tough love" towards WSU Champion Jessicka Havok within Crossfire Entertainment: "Of course, we all need moments where we're knocked off our pedestals; it makes us better. This is a high-profile match (with Jillian Hall) for her and she can think I have something against her or she can think of it as an opportunity to showcase her skills. For me, I think it's going to showcase her skills and I only want to put on the best women's wrestling possible. That's why I became the Creative Director, so I can do just that. She has an attitude and I try to control that attitude; a lot of people in the past have had attitudes, but they can be the best workers in the world; I've heard stories about Shawn Michaels, back in the day, or I've heard stories about CM Punk and their horrible attitudes, but they're some of the greatest workers in the world and you can't deny talent and I won't deny talent just because personally a person gets under my skin."

Women wrestlers she likes and want to learn from: “There are so many: Molly Holly, oh my god, amazing. I love her work, I love it so much; definitely her. Trish Stratus would be another one, I watched her on Tough Enough and I just think she’s incredible, she just connects with the crowd so well. Lita is another one. There’s so many girls out there that are just amazing; if it was Sara Del Rey, I’d be there in a heartbeat because I admire her so much.”

Women's wrestling in the past and the change in the modern era climate: “There are so many women (back then) that just really paved the way for what it is today; when the guys went off to war, the women were working their tails off in the ring just trying to entertain everybody that was left behind. These women wrestled crocodiles, they wrestled with lions; they were so tough. The rings back then were a bit different back then than they are today; they were even harder back then than they are now and they just really put it all out there. They were considered part of the circus and then they went on to do more and more with it; I really that hope someday, people can learn about those women. They are the ones that I really look up to; all the women of the past I find them incredible workers, but there are workers, more recently, like Melina, like Michelle (near the end of her career), Beth Phoenix, oh my god, they’re incredible. I can’t wait until A.J. starts working in the ring, I hear she’s amazing; everyone on the indies talk about how great she is. Women are so underappreciated, but I feel like it’s changing; there’s more and more opportunities there and people are interested. It’s been such a male dominated business for so long but they (the fans) want a taste of something a little different.”
