Hit F5 or refresh as often as you want for updates!

4:30 PM ET. Looks like it's time to get this party started. First Facebook fight should be out in about ten minutes!

* Simeon Thoresen vs. David Mitchell (Welterweight Bout)

Thoresen is in the red trunks and Mitchell the black. Our referee in charge is Herb Dean. Here we go! Mitchell is trying to get in close for some dirty boxing early. Thoresen is taking the center and letting Mitchell circle as the fight wears on.Mitchell just popped the United Center with a nice shot. Thoresen responded with a flurry and the two tied up on the fence. Thoresen just went to a knee but he may have gotten tagged or slipped. Thoresen just chased Mitchell across the cage with a series of shots. This is turning into a slugfest and the fans at the United love it. One minute to go in the first. Mitchell has a big right hand. They clinch up again and he's throwing a lot of body shots. Thoresen's face is now as red as his shorts. Crowd applauds at the end of the first for the action.

Mitchell rocks Thoresen about 25 seconds into R2 and takes his back. His face is busted open. Thoresen rolls to avoid the RNC and winds up with Mitchell in his gull guard. He's trying to get some jits going now. Mitchell backs out and tries to come over the top. Thoresen is doing a good job of tying him up to avoid damage. Thoresen had him in trouble for a few seconds with 2 minutes left in the round but Mitchell slipped out. Now Mitchell is the man on top. Mitchell is back on top again in the last minute but pulls out with 20 seconds to go to kick Thoresen's legs and try to jump over the top with a punch. A much more technical grounded fight in R2. I've got Mitchell 10-9 in both rounds but the second could go the other way for Thoresen's reversal and ground game depending on the judge.

There may be a discussion on whether or not Thoresen can continue. Herb Dean is talking to an official right now. Mitchell is jumping up and down with excitement thinking it's over. Thoresen's corner man just took his stool away and he stood up and the crowd roared with approval. Herb Dean signals for R3 and Mitchell immediately presses him into the fence looking for a takedown. They break apart at 43 seconds with no man having gained an advantage. Dean calls for time and brings Thoresen over to fix the tape on his glove. We resume with just under a minute gone. Mitchell is tagging Thoresen but he's giving as good as he gets. Mitchell landed two nice hooks and pushed him into the fence again.Thoresen is on top now with 100 seconds left but Mitchell is going for a triangle and pounding him in the face as he does it. Thoresen escapes and gets side control. I don't know if Mitchell did enough in any round to win it but we'll find out.

30-27, 30-27 AND 30-26 FOR THE UNANIMOUS WINNER DAVID MITCHELL.

* Sean Spencer vs. Rafael Natal (Middleweight Bout)

Spencer is coming out to "Juicy" by Notorious B.I.G. Natal is coming out to hard rock - the singer seems familiar but I can't name the song off the top of my head. Natal has blue trunks on for this fight and Spencer black. Buffer just announced we are live on TV. Spencer is 9-1 and 186 pounds fighting out of Dallas, Texas. Natal is 14-4-1, 185 pounds, fighting out of New York, New York. Our referee is Robert Madrigal. Here we go!

25 seconds into the fight Spencer is wincing and complaining that he got poked in the eye and the crowd at the United Center is not sympathetic. The replay shows he may have a case though. The doctor is in the ring now evaluating whether or not he can see. The doctor is going to let it continue and the fans in attendance roar with approval. One of them loudly yells out YOU CAN DO IT like "The Waterboy" and the whole building laughs. Not much happens until the last minute when Natal gets the fight to the ground and starts working for a submission - but no luck getting anything before the round ends.

Natal definitely feels the ground game is his world in this fight, and is happy to put Spencer on his back again. With two minutes left in the round all Spencer seems able to do is tie him up, hold on and avoid letting Natal improve position or find a submission. Spencer is trying to get back to his feet with 35 seconds left but in doing so gives up a back mount and he's in an even worse position than he was at the end of R1. Natal cranks the submission tight but Spencer was ABSOLUTELY saved by the horn this time.

Natal has side control 50 seconds into R3 and he's HAMMERING Spencer in the face with elbows. Once again Spencer just has to hold on and survive. Natal GETS THE SUBMISSION AT LAST WITH 2:47 LEFT ON THE BIG SCREEN. That's an unofficial time though - we'll wait for Bruce Buffer to make the announcement.

NATAL TIME OF VICTORY WAS 2:13 OF R3 FOR A TAPOUT DUE TO AN ARM TRIANGLE CHOKE. That's the word from Mr. Bruce Buffer.

* Mike Russow vs. Shawn Jordan (Heavyweight Bout)

Jordan is out first and he's making his way to the cage to one of the most somber songs ever - Johnny Cash singing "Hurt." The fan favorite Russow is coming out to "Simple Man." He gets a nice round of applause from the crowd once he hits the cage. Jordan is in the white trunks and fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Russow is in the black trunks and is fighting out of the Chi. Our referee is Herb Dean. Here we go!

With a respectful glove tap the fight is under way. Russow tries to push Jordan against the fence but he breaks free. Russow tags him with a few shots, Jordan slumps a little, and Russow smells the blood in the water - chasing him across the cage. At that point Jordan regains his wits and is able to tie Russow up, and the action stalls out. Russow breaks free and lets a punch fly as he backs away, then closes the distance again. Russow gets a few body shots in before he resets. 2:40 left as RUSSOW NAILS HIM WITH A RIGHT that sends blood flying then presses him into the fence. Jordan is keeping a hand on the ground so he can't be kneed in the head. Russow pulls him back up and it looks for a split second like he wants to suplex him. Jordan is swinging wild now as they move back to center. Russow goes for a single leg and Jordan goes down but rolls through. 50 seconds. Jordan tried to let hands go but Russow pushed him back into the fence. At the 10 second clap they both move back to center but no more big shots land before R1 ends. That was at least a 10-9 round, arguably a 10-8 in favor of Russow.

Jordan seems to have found his second win at the start of R2 but the action is stopped 24 seconds in due to an eye poke. It's quickly resolved and the fight resumes. JORDAN CATCHES RUSSOW. It didn't drop him but it definitely stunned him. Jordan throws a nice body kick and doubles Russow to the ground, and he's quickly got a full mount. He's sitting on Russow's side throwing bombs. Jordan has his back now. Russow tries to sneak out the back door for a heel hook and both guys get back to their feet. Russow ties him up and Jordan puts that hand on the ground again so he can't be kneed. Shawn drags him back to the ground again with 2:03 left. This is a strong comeback for Jordan considering he was almost finished in the first. With 1:24 left he has Russow's back and throws so many hammers HERB DEAN STEPS IN AND SAVES RUSSOW. Official time forthcoming.

Bruce Buffer makes it official - 3:48 OF R2 FOR THE WINNER BY TKO - SHAWN 'THE SAVAGE' JORDAN. No post-fight interview.

* Ryan 'Darth' Bader vs. Vladimir 'The Janitor' Matyushenko (Light Heavyweight)

Both guys come out to heavy metal for this fight. Bader has on gray trunks, The Janitor has on blue trunks. Buffer begins introductions at 6:07 ET. Matyushenko is 26-6 and fighting out of El Segundo, California. Bader is 15-3 and fighting out of Tempe, Arizona as the TUF 8 winner. Our referee in charge is 'Big' John McCarthy.

Bader pushes Matyushenko toward the fence, clips him with a left, DROPS HIM moments later, Matyushenko starts to recover but Bader has him tied up and goes for the choke AND THE JANITOR TAPS OUT. That was quick!

0:50 OF R1 FOR THE TAPOUT TO A GUILLOTINE CHOKE FOR THE WINNER - RYAN 'DARTH' BADER. Joe Rogan tells him that was the fastest submission in the history of the light heavyweight decision and compliments him on the excellent left hook that dropped Matyushenko. Rogan goes through the technique that led to the finish. "I felt he was going, he got out, then I tightened it up and got it." Rogan congratulates him on the fastest submission at LHW again to wrap the interview. Don't know if this aired on TV afterward but live in the United Center the first song to play after he left the cage was a techno remix of the Imperial Death March. Niiiice.

* Mike Stumpf vs. Pascal Krauss (Welterweight Bout)

Krauss is in white and neon green trunks and comes out to Ice Cube. Stumpf comes out to country music with black trunks on. Krauss is 10-1 and fights out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin by way of Germany. Stumpf is 11-3 and fights out of Crystal Lake, Illinois (that gets a big pop). Our referee is Herb Dean. Here we go!

The fight is underway just past 6:30 ET, 5:30 Central. Krauss and Stumpf are feeling each other out early. Stumpf has decent leg kicks and so far they are doing the most damage.  he also works in a few body shots. Krauss is now responding with kicks of his own, which opened him up for Stumpf to get a takedown just past the 90 second mark. Stumpf passes to half guard at 3:10. They're both back to their feet with 2:42 to go. Krauss tries for a single leg and gets stuffed. He has Stumpf's back to the fence right in front of press row before they break apart. Leg kicks are traded. Krauss tries to press him into the fence but Stumpf slips away. Krauss pops the crowd with a big kick. KRAUSS STUNS STUMPF and he instinctively goes for a single leg to save himself. Krauss goes for a guillotine then for a single of his own but the horn ends the round.

And we're back for R2. Both guys are letting their hands go early. Stumpf seems to be eating more than he's giving, and he gets taken down at 3:20 but pops right back up. He winds up on top of Krauss but his back is halfway up the fence making it really hard for him to pass or improve position. 2:40 remains. They're back up at 2:10 with Krauss wearing out Stumpf on the fence and blasting his face with elbows.Stumpf finally breaks free and lands a couple of right hands, then shoots when Krauss backs off but gets stuffed. He's got Stumpf in the fence again and he's throwing knees to the head, which the crowd has been calling for this whole round. 30 seconds. Stumpf is bleeding from the mouth as he tries a Superman Punch (and misses) to end the round.

Stumpf seems to be aware he needs to turn it up in R3. Herb Dean calls time so he can get his mouthpiece back in and we resume 38 seconds in. Krauss is throwing hands freely now, rolling his punches and even using overhand rights. Stumpf's face just keeps getting redder. Krauss is using combos of punches. He comes across as the more well rounded and prepared fighter in this match-up, although Stumpf has a lot of heart and just won't give up. He no sells a body kick and a left hook and one or both had to hurt. The crowd loves his guts and they're chanting MI-KEY. His takedown is easily stuffed and he eats some more shots on the fence. It may be a mater of time. He goes for a takedown on the fence but it's Krauss who winds up on top with 75 seconds to go. That should seal the deal. The fight ends in that position. It should be either 30-27 or 29-28 but I expect a unanimous decision.

Buffer: ALL THREE JUDGES SCORE 30-27 FOR THE WINNER BY UNANIMOUS DECISION - PASCAL KRAUSS. No post-fight interview.

* Clay Guida vs. Hatsu Hioki (Featherweight Bout)

Guida is by far one of the most popular fighters here tonight - the reaction when he steps in the cage is loud and the building is full to the rafters. Hioki is 26-5-2 and he's from Nagoya, Japan - he's being booed like a monster heel. Guida is 29-10 and fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico by way of Illinois - and he gets the thunderous babyface pop. Robert Madrigal is our referee. Here we go!

Guida is his usual ball of energy right from the start - bouncing around, shifting his stance, throwing kicks, but Hioki is doing his best to stay away. A loud Guida chant starts right behind press row and seconds later the whole United Center chimes in. From my vantage point Hioki is getting the better strikes and with more frequency. Hioki stuffs a double at 2:50 left in R1. Nice left by Guida as Hioki was backing him up. Right hook by Guida was a glancing blow, as was a head kick by Hioki. Tons of head movement from Guida. You've rarely heard a crowd pop for a double leg like they did with 1:53 left in this round and the whole building is chanting his name again. Guida tries to pass but in doing so lets Hioki up, who winds up taking his back. 35 seconds. Guida finally breaks free 8 seconds later. Not much else happens before the horn.

R2 is underway at 7:08 ET. Hioiki lands a nice one-two at the start, but shortly thereafter Guida picks him up and CARRIES HIM ACROSS THE RING FOR THE SLAM. Guida may have burned a lot of energy on that one but he's trying to be a showman tonight and the crowd is eating it up. Once again Guida is trying to pass and nearly lets Hioki back up, but eventually settles down into the guard 90 seconds in although Hioki was looking for a submission for a moment there. Guida picked him up and slammed him down while his arm was still trapped. Hioki's ground game is excellent but judges tend to favor the guy on top and this crowd certainly does. Anytime he gets his hands free and does something offensive they react big. Another loud Guida chant with 90 seconds remaining. Madrigal looks like he's considering standing them up - he keeps inching closer and closer and he's staring straight down at them. Sure enough he breaks them up with 39 seconds to go. Guida eats all of a headkick and most of another before the horn ends R2.

Our third and final round begins at 7:15 ET. Guida gets the takedown 55 seconds in and Hioki goes for a submission right away, so Guida picks him up and slams him. 99 out of 100 times slamming a guy when you're in a submission is an easy way to make things worse but for Guida it seems to work out. He's opened up a cut near Hioki's right eye and is trying to move from half guard to a more dominant position. 2:30 remains. Hioki gets him back to guard as Madrigal starts inching closer. Loud Guida chant at 1:50. Guida is trying to get around Hioki but just can't do it. There are a few scattered boos even from this partisan pro-Guida crowd. 40 seconds. Madrigal stands them up with 36 seconds left - last time he got booed for standing Guida this time he got polite applause. Hioki tries to chase Guida down in the time remaining but Guida ties him up until the horn then runs laps with his hand in the air like he won. Hioki acts like he won too. I expect Guida to pick up the UD.

Here's Bruce Buffer. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AFTER THREE ROUNDS WE GO TO THE SCORECARDS: 29-28 HIOKI, 30-27 GUIDA AND 29-28 FOR THE SPLIT DECISION - CLAY 'THE CARPENTER' GUIDA. The building erupts for it, Hioki looks very disappointed, and Guida mugs for the camera in the Octagon.

* T.J. Grant vs. 'Handsome' Matt Wiman (Lightweight Bout)

The final FX fight! Introductions for this one don't start until 7:32 ET. Wiman is the first to step into the cage, stomping his feet as he does so, wearing black UFC trunks. Grant comes out in red trunks to "HERE I GO AGAIN ON MY OWN, GOING DOWN THE ONLY ROAD I'VE EVER KNOWN." Wiman is 15-6 out of Portland, Oregon. Grant is 19-5 and fighting out of Nova Scotia, Canada. 'Big' John McCarthy is our referee. Here we go!

Wiman tries a Superman Punch early to no effect. Grant has him in a head clinch for a second but can't hang onto it. Grant checks a head kick. Nice right hook by Wiman. Shots are being traded but so far nobody is in a hurry to commit to a big rush. Grant his a nice one-two, Wiman goes for a singe leg, Grant floats over the top to his back and throws lefts and rights at his head, then has Wiman down on his back. 1:05 to go. Grant backs out and Wiman gets up slowly. Wiman's not looking so handsome right now. Grant lands some solid elbows in clinch and puts Wiman on the fence, then lands a big shot AND POURS ON THE HAMMERS AS THE REF RUSHES TO SAVE HIM - THIS ONE IS OVER. Slow motion of the elbow that dropped Wiman pops the crowd over and over each time it's shown.

Bruce Buffer will make this one official - REFEREE JOHN MCCARTHY STOPS THIS BOUT AT 4:51 OF THE FIRST ROUND FOR THE WINNER BY KNOCKOUT - T.J. GRANT. Joe Rogan hits the ring for an interview. He says this is Grant's finest moment in the cage of his career so far. "It turned out perfectly. I know how tough and durable he's been, I was just glad to hurt him and put him away. I'm just really happy right now." Rogan asks about how aggressive Wiman is. "He's really good at coming forward, as am I, but I felt like I had more crisp striking. I want to dedicate that one to my girlfriend Belinda, she's at home 6 months pregnant, so I did this for you guys." Rogan asks him to comment on the elbows. "I spent time training over in Thailand, we don't always get a lot of love in Canada, but I'm a product of what I do there." Rogan congratulates him again and that's it for FX prelims!

8:00 PM ET. The sound system in the United Center really is deafening - one of the loudest I've heard in any arena anywhere. The pre-fights video package is rolling now and our first live fight on FOX should begin in a few minutes.

* Erik 'New Breed' Koch vs. Ricardo 'The Bully' Lamas (Featherweight Bout)

Lamas has on red trunks with black trim for this fight. Koch is coming out to a techno speed rap that is shaking the United Center. I really wish I had a decibel meter to convey to those of you who aren't here just how INCREDIBLY GINORMOUS the level of sound is coming out of the speakers here. Tickets to a Bulls game might be expensive, but you're getting rock concert levels of music for your rock star prices. Koch as on solid white trunks with the usual assortment of sponsor logos. Lamas is 12-2 fighting out of Chicago. Koch is 13-1 fighting out of Milwaukee. Our referee is John McCarthy. Here we go!

This fight begins at 8:16 ET. Early Lamas is content to work on the outside, but that just cost him with a kick to the head, so now he's pushing back a little. He's able to check the next one that comes. Lamas shoots for a double at 3:18. Koch has a very wide stance and it doesn't look like he's going anywhere. Lamas switches to a single, gets a leg up in the air, and gets Koch off his feet for a split second. The crowd is becoming impatient with the lack of striking and isn't afraid to show it. Two minutes left in R1. Lamas keeps bullying Koch on the fence. Once again he has him down to a knee for a second, but Koch pops right back up. Before John can separate them, they break of their own accord, and both men return to center throwing kicks. Lamas goes for a double and a single again to no effect at first, then he gets Koch down to his butt, but he pops right back up with 10 seconds left. Crowd is NOT pleased with that first round.

R2 underway at 8:22. Lamas and Koch trade leg kicks. Koch presses Lamas into the fennce 50 seconds in but breaks it off. Koch lands a nice combo as Lamas was feinting a kick. Lamas finally gets squarely on top of Koch on the ground 90 seconds in. He tries to stand up and drop bombs but each time ends up back in guard. The third time it starts working and he's busted Koch up, and GOOD GOD HE DESTROYED HIS NOSE WITH ELBOWS RIGHT IN FRONT OF PRESS ROW MAKING SEVERAL PEOPLE VISIBLY WINCE. This fight is OVER.

OFFICIAL TIME 2:32 OF R2 FOR THE WINNER LAMAS BY TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT. Rogan compliments Lamas on the sensational performance. He talks about how he's usually super nervous but being at home in Chicago made it so much easier, and dedicates the win to his grandfather who just passed away. Rogan asks him about the ground and pound and Lamas says that's just how I do - you're leaving bloody or knocked out either way.

* 'Showtime' Anthony Pettis vs. 'Cowboy' Donald Cerrone (Lightweight Bout)

Dueling rap songs to start this one off. Cerrone is in the white trunks and Pettis the black trunks. Cerrone is 19-4, 1 NC and fights out of Albuquerque, New Mexico by way of Denver. Pettis is 13-2, fighting out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is the former WEC Lightweight Champion. Our referee for this fight is Robert Madrigal. Here we go!

No glove tap to start. Cerrone throws a left hook and Pettis throws a knee kick. A quick flurry of shots from both men. Pettis practically cartwheels away from a Cerrone shot. Pettis seems content for the moment to be a counter striker, letting Cerrone press the action. Every now and then he throws a shot or two that pushes Cerrone back. Two minutes gone. Nice body kick by Pettis, and another. A third one landed with a sickening thud and I think Cerrone is feeling it. Now Pettis is the aggressor. HE JUST LANDED ANOTHER LIVER KICK TO THE EXACT SAME SPOT THAT DROPPED CERRONE AND THIS FIGHT IS OVER.

Pettis jumps to the top of the cage and makes the belt sign around his waist, which the crowd responds to enthusiastically. Bruce Buffer will make this official whenever FOX comes back from commercial break. Here's Bruce Buffer. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, REFEREE ROBERT MADRIGAL CALLS A STOP TO THIS CONTEST AT 2:35 OF THE VERY FIRST ROUND FOR THE WINNER BY TKO - ANTHONY 'SHOWTIME' PETTIS. Pettis: "Dana White, what do I have to do for this title shot? I ain't scared to fight anybody, I want the champ, I want that belt ASAP." He invites everybody to come out and party with him for his birthday and says "a fight bonus would be a nice birthday present." He may get it!

* Rampage Jackson vs. Glover Teixeira (Light Heavyweight Bout)

Hype video package starts at 8:52 ET. Glover Teixeira makes his way to the cage to the strains of DMX, taking a page right out of Rampage's playbook. That doesn't stop Rampage from using one of his songs too, and the bass seems even louder for numero dos - I swear I'm not exaggerating when I say it's vibrating my laptop screen and the glasses on my nose. This bass is unreal. I've had some good car stereos in my day and it beats them all. Buffer introduces the fighters at 9 ET. Teixeira is 19-2 and wearing white trunks, fighting out of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Jackson is 32-10 and wearing black trunks, fighting out of Irvine, California by way of Memphis as the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Our referee in charge for this one is Herb Dean. Here we go!

Teixeira is headhunting. Rampage looks as physically fit for this fight as any I've seen in a while. Teixeira gets a single leg 1:03 in and takes the back right away. He's sitting on his side now and Rampage is covering up trying to block the shots. Rampage gets back up at 3:10 left and starts swinging. Teixeira misses with an overhand right and Jackson makes him pay for it. Teixeira throws a right hook and kick. Left jab and Rampage responds. Teixeira gets caught again. He'd better be careful. Rampage is finding a home for his jab. He just misses with an overhand right. Rampage shoots and gets tagged as he does so. Teixeira has him in the fence with 1:15 left but lets him go. Teixeira HURTS RAMPAGE WITH 45 SECONDS LEFT. He gets up from it but the crowd is buzzing. Jackson is firing but Teixeira is checking most of the blows. Teixeira lets go of a single at the horn.

R2 at 9:07. Teixeira goes for a single leg and gets it at 25 seconds. Teixeira is throwing elbows but Jackson is trying to tie him up. He's trying to slip out to side control but Jackson has his leg trapped so he stands back up at the 90 second mark. All this crowd wants right now is stand-up. They react big when Jackson lands a couple of shots. Teixeira pushes him across the cage and makes Rampage be the counterpuncer. Teixeira landed three solid uppercuts in a row to the jaw but Jackson ate each one and said feed me more. Nasty left hook by Teixeira in front of press row. Rampage has a right under his right eye. He laughs at something Teixeira threw and starts bobbing and weaving like a boxer, which the crowd eats up. 45 seconds to go. Another nasty left hook and an uppercut. Rampage looks like he may be fading as the second round comes to a close.

The crowd has one of their loudest reactions of the night as R3 gets underway and Jackson is quick to start throwing strikes. Teixeira is just a little quicker on the draw every time they trade. Rampage lands a flurry and Teixeira shakes his head like NAHHH THAT WON'T WORK. Teixeira gets a single leg at 1:05 and the crowd boos it immediately. Unreal. I've never heard a crowd so quick to boo a takedown after so vehemently cheering for every one Guida hit earlier tonight. If this had been a boxing rules only match they'd have been fine. They EXPLODE when Rampage stands back up 1:54 in and explode again when he lands some shots that bloody Teixeira's mouth. Rampage got hurt by a left hook and walked away from it slowly. He tried to throw a big Tyson uppercut to Teixeira's nose but it sailed in front of his face. 1:45 left in this fight. Teixeira single legs Jackson down but he gets right back up. He tries to clinch for some knees. Jackson walks away slowly when they break. I mean like his feet are in molasses. He's spent all his energy trying to knock Teixeira out and couldn't do it. 50 seconds. Teixeira takes him down with 32 seconds to go, gets full mount, and drops as many hammers as he can. He doesn't finish Rampage with it but that was his best ground striking of the fight, and he kept it up until the final horn. I see a unanimous decision in Teixeira's immediate future.

9:21 ET. Chuck is in the cage with Teixeira and they both seem happy. Bruce Buffer is ready to make this one official as soon as he gets the cue. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE GO TO THE JUDGES FOR A DECISION. THE JUDGES SCORE THIS CONTEST 30-27, 30-27 AND 29-28 FOR THE WINNER BY UNANIMOUS DECISION - GLOVER TEIXEIRA. The crowd wanted Rampage to win so they are booing heavily. No post-fight interview, which I'm at first surprised by, but since the title fight could go five they probably nixed it.

* Demetrious Johnson {C} vs. John Dodson (UFC Flyweight Title Bout)

The video package for our main event starts at 9:30 ET. Dodson and Johnson both shake the building with their respective rap songs. This fight is not going to start until 9:40 at the earliest so we're definitely running over live if it goes the distance, which makes it more curious now that they didn't interview either Rampage or Teixeira - but as long as I've been in or around TV there's still aspects of live production that don't make sense to me. Buffer begins his introductions at 9:38 so we may come in ahead of my prediction. Dodson is 15-5 and hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico as the TUF Season 14 winner. The champion Johnson is 16-2-1 and hails from Parkland, Washington. DJ has on black XBox trunks and Dodson has on white/gray Pop Rocks trunks. John McCarthy is our ref. Here we go!

It only took 35 seconds for one fan in the building to boo, but so far it's only one. DJ is doing the chasing and it might have been a bad idea because Dodson dropped him for a split second just as we came up on a minute and a half. Dodson throws him to the ground and DJ bounces right back up. DJ needs to use more leg kicks - when he gets close he gets clipped. A few scattered BOR-ING chants as we approach 2 min left in R1. DJ tries for a takedown twice - the first time Dodson bridges on his hands to avoid it which the crowd applauds, the second time he gets it. Dodson is back up with 53 seconds left. He's got DJ's head in the fence and he's throwing knees to the leg. They break at 0:28 to go. DJ has him in the fence at the horn. Close first round - each guy had his moments.

R2 underway at 9:46. Dodson nails DJ with a solid shot 25 seconds in. He shoots in and at the 53 second mark the takedown is his. Dodson is back up 10 seconds later. Johnson lands a flush right in the second minute but Dodson hits harder and knocked DJ down again for just a second. He knocks him down for the third time in the fight with 2:53 left in the round and DJ tries for a double but can't get it thanks to Dodson's defense. He rocks DJ again at 2:13 and he cartwheels backward. Unless DJ changes things up in a hurry he's losing this round and he can't afford to keep getting hurt like this going into deep waters. 1:20 left. Dodson cracks DJ again but he eats it. DJ tries to press Dodson into the fence and does catch him with a couple of shots. 10 seconds left DJ clinches up but no takedown. I have to give this round to Dodson 10-9.

9:52 for R3. DJ is using more leg kicks now. Dodson may have caught him with one against the fence but DJ's back was to me so it was hard to tell. DJ goes for a single but Dodson gets out of it and then MCCARHY STOPS THE FIGHT FOR A LOW BLOW. We see the left knee to the groin by Johnson on the replay. Dodson recovers quickly and the action resumes. DJ is thinking about a takedown but gets blasted in the face for it. Johnson lands a nice right, a leg kick, and tries a spin kick. A good left and a push kick by DJ. He's being much more offensive in the third. Maybe he feels he lost R1 and R2. More leg kicks. Nice body kick by Dodson. Dodson body locks Dodson to the ground at 1:34 remaining. Dodson tries to get up but is put down again at 1:10. Fans boo for a second but cheer when they get back up at 0:40. Dodson gets in one left hook but this was DJ's best round. 10-9 for him.

There's an illegal knee by DJ according to Big John, although on the replay it's hard to say for sure, because it looks like Dodson was lifting his hand up at the same time Johnson threw the strike. The crowd is booing as the doctor checks Dodson over to see if he can continue the fight. I didn't see McCarthy clearly signal for a 1 point deduction but some people in press row believe there was. Anyway the fight continues and DJ badly wants the single leg. He's ahead on total strikes landed 104 to 71 so far. Dodson manages to turn it around and they break and go back to center. Johnson goes for another single leg with 2 minutes and he doesn't have it so there are some boos in the building. DJ is throwing knees again but he's being extra careful about watching for the grounded hand. 1 minute. He's finally getting off some clean knees to the head and the crowd approves. Dodson finally pulls out at 20 seconds and it's clear his face got bloodied by the barrage. Another 10-9 for DJ.

DJ seems to be hoping he can seal the deal with takedowns in the fifth. He hurt Dodson with a knee in the clinch at 1:20 and now he's really starting to pick him apart. One knee at 1:03 made a loud SMACK right in front of press row. DJ is relentless with these knees. He's also mixing it up with some uppercuts and body shots but the knees to the head are his best strike of this round and this entire fight. 20 seconds left. DJ works Dodson on the fence until the horn. I think he retains the title 48-47 but we'll find out soon enough.

48-47, 49-46, 48-47 FOR THE WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION DEMETRIOUS JOHNSON. DJ says he got dazed in R2 but "it's like swimming, you're going to get splashed" and Rogan congratulates him on a great fight and says he epitomizes the best of MMA. No post-fight interview for Dodson. That's it for UFC on FOX at 10:16 ET!
