Our UFC 158: GSP vs. Diaz Recap begins at 6:30 ET, 5:30 Central with the UFC on Facebook prelims! While the recap is in progress you can hit F5 or refresh as often as you like for updates. While you are waiting for the show to begin you can check out the Glove Up or Shut Up UFC 158 Preview and the UFC 158 weigh-ins recap. Three welterweight fights headline tonight, including Georges St-Pierre defending his title against Nick Diaz!

6:30 PM ET. Our first prelim is up in just a few minutes!

* George Roop vs. Reuben Duran (Facebook Bantamweight Bout)

The chyron tells us Duran has won 5 of his last 7 fights. After he's checked over George Roop comes out to the strains of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man," or at the very least, a cover of it. 8-4, 1 draw, 5'6", 135 is California's own Reuben Duran. Roop on the other hand is 12-10, 1 draw, 6'1", 136 pounds, and fighting out of Tucson, Arizona. Our referee in charge for this opening contest is Philippe Chartier. Here we go!

Roop is in the red trunks and Duran the black. Roop is using his long legs to keep Duran at bay and land some good front kicks to boot. Duran catches him with a counter shot at 85 seconds though and Roop seems momentarily stunned. Duran throws a nice inside leg kick as we approach 2 minutes gone and then Duran completes a takedown. It's amazing these two guys are in the same weight class. The referee calls for more work at 3:15 as things stall out in the guard. Roop is throwing some decent elbows off his back. Roop gets warned about the angle of the elbows. Duran gets to half guard just before time in R1 expires. 10-9 Duran.

Duran is quick to go for a takedown in R2 though Roop is able to counter, get the back and take Duran down 50 seconds in. Rogan is looking for Roop to take the full back mount. Duran avoids a possible RNC and gets back to his feet at 2:03. Roop lands a head kick and avoids a takedown in the process. Duran finally gets him down over 3 minutes gone but Roop has already won the majority of this round. Rogan seems to think this will turn the round in Duran's favor - I don't. Roop is also up 59-38 in ground strikes landed and is back on his feet with a half minute left. Roop and Duran battle on the fence to the horn.

R3 is underway at 6:52 ET. Duran goes for another quick takedown but Roop is back up 20 seconds in. The ref gives a warning not to grab... something. Pants/fence? Hard to tell with the accent. Roop is keeping Duran's back on the fence and he's mauling him, which is exactly what he needs to do to win this fight. Takedown by Roop with 2:47 left after amassing a significant number of strikes on the stat meter. Duran is back up with 2:20 left but Roop moves to take his back and drag him back down, and Duran pops right back up. Chartier calls for more work again. "This is a grueling fight Mike." Indeed. Roop lands a couple of nice knees to the face as Duran pushes him into the fence. This is doing Duran no favors. In fact I think that may be the swing for Roop to win this fight. Duran lands one punch after the horn which won't help him. Roop should win 29-28.

29-28, 29-28, 30-27 FOR THE UNANIMOUS WINNER - GEORGE ROOP. The judges got this one right, so we're off to a good start.

* T.J. Dillashaw vs. Issei Tamura (Facebook Bantamweight Bout)

Tamura is in the blue trunks for this fight. Duane 'Bang' Ludwig accompanies Dillashaw to the ring for this fight. He's in white trunks tonight and Rogan reminds us that he's a Team Alpha Male fighter. Bruce Buffer begins his introductions at 7:06 ET. Tamura is 7-3, 5'6", 135 pounds, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. Dillashaw is 7-1, 5'6", 135, fighting out of Sacramento, California. Our referee in charge is Yves Lavigne. Here we go!

Tamura lands the first inside leg kick of the fight. Dillashaw seems to be loading up his right hand but he ate a right counter. Dillashaw gets a takedown as we pass one minute gone, taking his back as we approach 1:30. Lavigne calls for more work but Tamura gets back to his feet with 3:01 left, and then Dillashaw single legs him down but Tamura pops up much more quickly this time. 2:30 gone. Lavigne warns Dillashaw to keep the knees clean. Dillashaw gets a takedown and Tamura is right back up immediately. The Montreal crowd is unhappy even though Dillashaw is landing hard body shots with Tamura on the fence. They pop for Lavigne calling for the reset with 65 seconds left. Dillashaw NEARLY cleaned Tamura's clock with a head kick - he JUST ducked under it. Dillashaw finishes R1 strong with kicks and jabs and it's easily a 10-9 in his column.

HIGH KNEE TO THE FACE AND KO ON THE GROUND EARLY IN R2 FOR DILLASHAW. So quick it was hard to even get it in live. He faked the knee perfectly and Tamura bit it hook, line and sinker. He fades low, Tamura leans in to defend the takedown, the knee buckles his legs, and then Dillashaw finished on the ground. Bruce Buffer will make this official momentarily. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN YVES LAVIGNE STOPS IT AT 0:26 OF R2 FOR THE WINNER BY KNOCKOUT - T.J. DILLASHAW. Dillashaw rates his performance as "very satisfying" and thanks Duane Ludwig for the coaching. Rogan gushes about the fakeout move he made to win the fight. "Ludwig was saying it was there, he kept circling to my left, timing is everything." In-deed!!

* Quinn Mulhern vs. Rick 'Horror' Story (Facebook Welterweight Bout)

18-2, 6'3", 168 pounds, red trunks, Santa Fe, New Mexico for Mulhern. 14-6, 5'10", 169 pounds, black trunks for Vancouver, WA's own Story. Our referee in charge is Marc-Andre Cote. Here we go!

Story has Mulhern hurt early in the first minute and easily stuffs a takedown Mulhern goes for the recover. Mulhern throws a flurry to keep Story honest but he's definitely got the advantage so far and he's landing nice combos and leg kicks. Mulhern is complaining about a shot to the eye with 2 minutes left but Cote doesn't stop it and Story swarms him and gets the finish via a left hook and a series of shots until the referee stopped it. Bruce Buffer. COTE STOPS THIS FIGHT AT 3:05 OF R1 FOR THE WINNER BY TKO - RICK 'THE HORROR' STORY.

We get the post-fight interview from Rogan. "I've got the power inside me, and we brought that out in training camp. I've had a lot of grueling fights, not really fan friendly, but I wanted to let everybody know I've worked my way back up. We focused on being relaxed and being hard." Rogan congratulates him and Story thanks all of his coaches. That's it for Facebook - FX fights up next!

8:00 PM ET. We move on to the second leg of our journey to GSP vs. Diaz with FX prelim fights!

* John Makdessi vs. Daron Cruickshank (FX Lightweight Bout)

The only difference on the tale of the tape goes to Cruickshank - 72" to 68" on the reach. Buffer introduces the first fight at 8:09 ET. 12-2, 5'8", 155 pounds, Detroit, Michigan in the white trunks is Cruickshank. 10-2, 5'8", 155 pounds, fighting out of Montreal is Makdessi. Our referee in charge is Marc Goddard. Here we go!

Crowd is getting a little restless as neither man seems willing to engage in the first minute, and I know firsthand Montreal crowds will boo if they don't get what they want. After 1:45 of this the frustrated French fans want both men out of the building. I wish I could count a "significant strike" for either man. That may be Cruickshank as we pass the 2 minute mark but even so Makdessi was backing away. He is having success with the leg kick though. By 2:45 they are booing again. Cruickshank tries to get a leg up for a head kick. Makdessi is jabbing better now. 90 seconds left as Makdessi lands a KICK TO THE GROIN and we get a stoppage of the fight. The replay doesn't justify the stoppage - it was a glancing blow at best. Cruickshank is up on knees and kicks 7-6 on the chyron - not much of an advantage. Cruickshank shoots for a takedown with 30 seconds to go and is stuffed. If I have to call this round for either man, Cruickshank 10-9.

"The first round wasn't really effective for either fighter." Well said Joe Rogan. Cruickshank lands a step-in uppercut at 90 seconds but he's getting tagged more in this round and Makdessi is throwing leg kicks. Crowd is still very impatient with both men. More boos at 2:35. Spinning back kick to the body by Makdessi. Makdessi sprawls to stuff a follow-up takedown. That silences the crowd for a bit. 1:50 left. Makdessi is finding a home for the right hand - and the left jab. Cruickshank finally responds with a good right hand that may have messed up Makdessi's nose. Crowd is impatient again at 4 minutes. The last minute of this round has the best striking of this whole fight from both men but I'll edge the whole 5 minutes 10-9 for Makdessi.

Makdessi knocks Cruickshank down or he slips at 1:18 of the third - either way. Wheel kick attempt by Cruickshank. Sprawl by Makdessi blocks a follow-up takedown. 2:50 to go. Makdessi is easily popping the left jab now. Cruickshank fails badly on a takedown attempt and the referee has to make him stand back up. Spinning back kick to the body by Makdessi with 100 seconds to go. Makdessi is up on strikes in R3, 32 to 14. Makdessi complains about being poked in the eyes and the referee stops a fight but doesn't take a point. 1:04 left. Makdessi wins all the rest of the exchanges and should win the fight 29-28.

Buffer announces 29-28 29-28 AND 29-28 UNANIMOUS FOR JOHN MAKDESSI. He seems non-plussed about this victory - he's even blinking his eyes like his vision is still impaired and he can not see.

* Jordan Mein vs. Dan Miller (FX Welterweight Bout)

26-8, 6'0", 170 pounds, fighting out of Letbridge, Alberta in the blue trunks is Jordan Mein. Miller is 14-6, 1 NC, 6'1", 171 pounds, Whippany, NJ in the red trunks. Marc-Andre Cote is our referee. Here we go!

Miller gets a takedown 58 seconds into R1. DAN GOES FOR A DEEP STEPOVER ARMBAR BUT MEIN ESCAPES AND JUMPS BACK UP. 3:10 left. Crowd loved that exchange. Dan wobbles Jordan with a right. Mein lands a nice elbow back. Body shot by Miller. Miller seems content to let Mein come into range and then wallop him as opposed to pushing the pace. 1:45 left. MEIN KNOCKS MILLER DOWN VIA LEFT AT 1:26 AND LETS HIM BACK UP. Mein is finding his range with the jab and HE SWARMS MILLER WITH 30 SECONDS TO GO AND THE LEFT HANDS FORCE THE REF TO STOP IT WITH 19 OR LESS LEFT. Those left hands on the ground were brutal. Official decision after commercial!

8:53 ET. MARC ANDRE-COTE STOPS IT AT 4:42 OF THE VERY FIRST ROUND FOR THE WINNER BY TKO JORDAN 'YOUNG GUN' MEIN! Joe Rogan to interview. He calls it a "very impressive debut" following his time in Strikeforce. "It makes me so excited, Dan's never been stopped, so that was one of my goals and I achieved it. (The armbar) was very close - I just kept rolling with it. I knew to get right back to my feet when I got out - I didn't want any part of that." Rogan compliments him on his timing and patience getting the finish. The kid looks SO YOUNG. Good on him for beating one of the Fighting Millers!

* Antonio Carvalho vs. Darren Elkins (FX Featherweight Bout)

Elkins is one inch taller and has a one inch reach advantage. He's in the red trunks, 16-2, 5'9", 145 pounds and fighting out of Portage, Indiana. Carvalho is in the blue trunks, 15-5, 5'8", 145 pounds, fighting out of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Our referee in charge for this contest is Yves Lavigne. Here we go!

Both men clinch immediately and break 17 seconds later. Carvalho is looking for a big left hook. Elkins tries to take him to the ground and they wind up pressed in the fence, where he gets off a few rights before Carvalho breaks away. 70 seconds gone. Elkins is stuffed at 1:50 but puts Carvalho in the fence for some knees to the body. Carvalho turns it around and breaks free at 2:12. Nice left hook by Elkins. Even better right at 2:59 AND YVES LAVIGNE STOPS THE FIGHT. Carvalho was loopy from it, Elkins dropped him with another right, and Carvalho was already getting back up before Lavigne could tell him he stopped it. This one will be controversial but officially it's a W for Elkins.

3:06 OF R1 FOR THE WINNER BY TKO DARREN 'THE DAMAGE' ELKINS. The crowd boos this announcement. Rogan goes to interview Elkins. Elkins says he would have finished him either way and "it's not my job" to make that call. "He was definitely hurt, he dropped, I went in for the kill, I needed a finish in this fight and I definitely went after it." Rogan compliments him on his improved striking. "I thought I was controlling the fight, like I said, I'm getting better every fight and I'm gonna continue to get better on my rise." They're bonusing T.J. Dillashaw vs. Issei Tamura next to kill some time.

* Bobby Voelker vs. Patrick Cote (FX Welterweight Main Event)

24'8, 6'0, 169, Kansas City is Voelker. 19-8, 5'11", 169, Montreal is Cote. Our referee in charge for this fight is Phillipe Chartier. Here we go!! Cote is in the white trunks and Voelker the black. The crowd is singing the OLE theme song right from the get-go for 'The Predator'. He's certainly pressing the fight to Voelker. 56 seconds gone as Voelker ties him up looking for a takedown. Loud CO-TE chant breaks out. Cote ties him up in the fence. Chartier calls for more work. 1:45. Rogan says he's surprised Cote doesn't break of his own accord but he lands a big elbow on the break at 2:06 just as I type that. Cote puts him on the ground for a second but Voelker pops right back up and then Voelker gets one of his own right at the 3 minute mark. Cote went for an armbar but Voelker slipped out - the crowd popped big for it though. He's going for it again with 80 seconds left. He's also throwing elbows from the bottom. Cote is ahead on total strikes landed but Voelker is trying to close the distance. "This is the most active we've seen Cote from his back." We can see Rogan saying this on commentary right behind both men. Even though Voelker was on top for the last two minutes I feel that's a 10-9 Cote round.

Cote is landing some HARD shots early in R2. Voelker shows off his resilient chin. He's taking some leg kicks from Voelker but otherwise things are going well. Voelker gives chase with an uppercut at 1:28 but Cote turns him round and puts him on the fence. He lands a big flurry punctuated with a right hand. Cote covers up to avoid a flurry by Voelker at 2:20. Cote breaks and lands a right elbow. Cote is up 50 to 28 on significant strikes but he eats 2 knees from Voelker. 3 minutes gone as Cote drops levels looking for a takedown. Cote lands another nice shot on the break. He's got a few cuts though from trading with Voelker including one on the bridge of his nose. Voelker tries to throw Cote down but he's right back up. Both men trade and Cote gets a quick takedown before the end of R2. I'd call it 10-9 for Cote again.

Cote and Voelker get into a slugfest right at the start of R3 and Cote seems to get a little the worse of it until he puts Voelker in the fence. They break apart at 50 seconds. Flying knee. 1 minute. Voelker presses forward but he seems sluggish, although his corner is screaming that Cote is tired. Call for action by the red. Cote with an elbow off the break at 1:38. Voelker lands a big knee but Cote shoots. Voelker turns it into a takedown of his own at 2:13 and starts dropping harms. Cote is looking for an armbar but eating damage. Cote pops up twice and gets dragged down twice - Cote goes for the armbar and Voelker gets free. Cote is back up again with 74 seconds left. Voelker puts him down again with 58 seconds left and is trying to maul Cote. Cote needs more space for a submission and can't find it. Voelker has more clearly won this round than any other in the fight so the swing round is R1 and based on that you've got your winner.

9:57 PM ET. ALL THREE JUDGES SCORE 29-28 FOR THE UNANIMOUS WINNER: PATRICK 'THE PREDATOR' COTE.

10:00 PM ET. Our first PPV bout is up in about 15 minutes with two TUF semi-finalists!

Sarah Kaufman: "Just started watching #ufc158 in time to hear rousey and zingano/Tate will be a TUF coach...interested to see that one."

Dana White: "Announced Ronda will coach next season of TUF with winner of Tate vs Cat they will coach 135lb men and women living in the house 2 gether."

* Colin Fletcher vs. Mike Ricci (PPV Lightweight Bout)

Fletcher comes out first and is in the cage by 10:13. Ricci comes out to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. Fletcher has white trunks, 9-2, 6'2", 155 pounds and he fights out of Sunderland, England as 'The Freak Show'. Ricci is in gray trunks, 8-3, 6'1", 156 pounds, fighting out of Montreal. Our referee in charge is Marc Goddard. Here we go!

Ricci is chasing with strikes early which prompts Goldberg to quip "His plan may be to keep it standing." Fletcher is working leg kicks. Nice body kick at 1:27. Fletcher is content to let Ricci give chase. Fletcher almost trips him to the ground on an errant kick. Rogan: "Fletcher may well be the whitest human being I've ever seen." Then clearly he hasn't seen Hellboy Hansen fight. Ricci lands a strong straight left but Fletcher counters. Spin kick by Ricci. Both guys miss at 2:57. Body kick by Ricci, leg kick. Fletcher keeps moving forward and then backing up. Strong jab by Ricci. A few boo birds are flocking. Total strikes landed is almost dead even with a minute left. LOW BLOW BY FLETCHER and Goddard calls time. They tap gloves and resume. Fletcher spins a whole bunch but doesn't land anything. Ricci lands a body kick and throws a couple jabs. Fletcher tries to trip Ricci to the ground before R1 ends but fails.

Ricci lands a head kick and gets a takedown in the first 15 seconds of R2. Fletcher tries to get submissions off his back as they're in the donkey guard - at least that's what Joe Rogan called it. It looked very weird. Fletcher gets back upa t 91 seconds but not before having eaten some ground and pound. Fletcher tries for a single leg but nothing doing. Fletcher has a big gash under his right eye. They finally break apart at 2:21 gone. Ricci lands a strong body kick. Ricci pops a beautiful jab at 3:24. Fletcher keeps trying to spin around and land leg kicks - they're too few and far between. The damage is accumulating on Fletcher's face. 1 minute left in R2. The crowd is booing again but Ricci is fighting a winning fight. Fletcher goes for a spinning backfist to no avail. Rogan makes the "significant damage" vs. "significant strikes" argument and seems to have Ricci ahead. I agree.

Rogan complains about a spilled bag of ice at the start of R3. Hmmm - where have I heard THAT before? The crowd is upset at 70 seconds as Ricci has Fletcher pinned on the fence. Ricci lands a very nice elbow as they break apart. Fletcher's corner was calling for him to shoot for takedowns but he doesn't seem to be going for it. Goldie takes a moment to remind us of Dana White's announcement earlier (scroll up for it). Rogan says Ricci may not have fought to his full potential here. Ricci gets a takedown with 84 seconds left. Fletcher tries to trap the head but Ricci pops out and is in half guard, where he can probably grind out this fight. Ricci is doing some good ground and pound so Fletcher gives up his back and Ricci tries to get under the chin. 20 seconds left. RICCI GOES FOR THE ARMBAR WITH TIME LEFT but Fletcher gets out drops a couple elbows right at the horn. I've got Ricci winning this fight but we'll see what the judges say.

MIKE RICCI GETS A 30-27 UNANIMOUS DECISION. No post-fight interview.

* Nick Ring vs. Chris Camozzi (PPV Middleweight Bout)

Tale of the Tape: 6'0" to 6'2", 183 to 185 and 74" to 75.5" reach from Ring to Camozzi. Buffer begins intros at 10:46. In the red trunks, 18-5, fighting out of Lakewood, Colorado is Chris Camozzi. In the brown trunks, 13-1, fighting out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada is Nick Ring. Our referee in charge of this fight is Marc-Andre Cote. Here we go!

Ring is working kicks to start and landing most of them. Camozzi is trying to time it and land a big counter punch. Rogan is unhappy that Ring is keeping his lands low and he nearly got caught by an uppercut because of it. Camozzi lands a solid left. Camozzi backs Ring off with an overhand left. Camozzi is tagging Ring more and more with his hands as we near and pass the halfway point. Ring with a push kick. The two fighters are about dead even on those "significant strikes" between kicks and hands. 30 seconds. R1 in the books to some boos.

Both men trade leg kicks to open R2. Ring is arguably throwing and landing more blows but Camozzi is not getting rocked and is hanging right in there. Camozzi tries a flying knee and a standing guillotine and can't get either one. 2:45 left. Camozzi's nose is turning red but one side of Ring's face has been marred too. Camozzi gets progressively bloodier as the round goes on. To sum it up Ring outboxed and outworked him for this whole round.

Unless something different happens in the next 5 minutes than the last 5, just assume Ring outboxed him for 5 more minutes. If that changes, I'll update accordingly. If not we'll await the verdict of the judges. Actually to be honest I think Camozzi turned the tables and outboxed Ring when he gassed, but too little too late I still have Ring 29-28.

29-28 Camozzi, 29-28 Ring 29-28 SD for CAMOZZI and now we move on to Ellenberger vs. Marquardt. The crowd doesn't even care enough to boo.

* Nate Marquardt vs. Jake Ellenberger (#6) - Welterweight Bout

Marquardt is out first and Ellenberger comes out to "Gangsta's Paradise" at 11:14 ET. Bruce Buffer begins intros a minute later. Red trunks, 35-11-2, 6 foot, 171 pounds, Denver, Colorado is Marquardt. Black trunks, 28-6, 5'9", 170 pounds, Lake Forest by way of Omaha, Nebraska is Ellenberger. Our referee is Phillippe Chartier. Here we go!

Marquardt is almost all leg kicks in the first minute of the fight. Marquadt may have hurt him with a punch but Ellenberger backpedaled and then hit him with a right that put a cut under Marquardt's eye. ELLENBERGER HURTS MARQUARDT AND THIS FIGHT IS ALL OVER!!! Right to the body, left to the face, right wobbles Marquardt, as he goes down Ellenberger pounds it out and one big right to the head that slumped him as he was already on his knees caused the ref to make the save.

Marquardt got up protesting but he was clearly done. THE OFFICIAL TIME IS 3:00 OF R1 FOR THE WINNER BY KO: JAKE ELLENBERGER. "I want the world champion more than anything in my life." Rogan says he's "knocking on the door." Ellenberger thanks Mark Munoz and a whole laundry list of coaches and teammates. 6-0 Sara McMann is in the crowd watching. Ellenberger will surely move up from #6 with that big win.

* Johny 'Big Rig' Hendricks (#1) vs. Carlos 'Natural Born Killer' Condit (#2) - Welterweight Bout

Hendricks might be the #1 ranked guy but he comes out first for this fight. He's in the Octagon and ready to go by 11:30 ET. Condit is checked over and ready by 11:33 as Rage Against the Machine plays in the background. 6'2" to 5'9", 169 to 171 and 76" to 69" reach from Condit to Hendricks. Hendricks is 14-1 and fighting out of Dallas, Texas in the white trunks. Condit is 28-6 and fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the blue trunks. Our referee in charge is Marc Goddard. Here we go!

Hendricks is trying to land the big bomb early and he apparently has Condit hurt - but he slammed him and he walked away. Hendricks takes him down again at 1:12. Condit has a noticeable bruise on his face. Condit's probably happier getting a break on the ground for a bit. He gets up with 3:22 left but gets put back down. Hendricks is in full guard 2:05 into the fight. He backs out as we pass the half point of R1. Hendricks tries to dump him again but this time he lands on his feet, but Hendricks finally drags him down with 100 seconds left. Condit keeps rolling and Hendricks is over the top on his back. You can see blood leaking from Condit's nose as they break. Hendricks lands a couple of lefts but Condit gets his back after a fourth takedown and gets two hooks in. Unfortunately on short time he can't do much so he lets it go. Both guys swing away and Hendricks gets another takedown as R1 ends.

Both men touch gloves at 11:42 right after we see a replay of the face kick that Condit landed late in R1. Hendricks comes forward throwing bombs even as he may have eaten a jumping knee. Head kick misses by Condit. Hendricks shoots for a takedown and gets it 1:03 into R2. Condit pushes him back to guard, gets up at 1:33, and lands a right hand to the face for good measure. Hendricks come forward throwing lefts and Condit's nose is leaking again as Hendricks looks to take him down, which he does at 2:10. They're back up at 2:28 and Condit is throwing knees and closing the distance as Hendricks backs away. Hendricks slips a flying knee and gets another takedown - he's 8 for 8. Hendricks gets some left elbows but Condit scrambles to his feet with 70 seconds left in R2. Hendricks throws a punch to the leg. He gets another takedown with 33 seconds - make that 9 for 9. Condit gets back u with seconds left but can't land anything.

R3 is underway at 11:49. Hurt or not Hendricks is still throwing that left hand. Hendricks gets his 10th takedown and is trying to do damage from half guard. Condit is doing his best to tie him up. 3:35 left. Condit misses on a kimura but the attempt lets him back up to his feet. Hendricks is still throwing hammers with abandon. Hendricks ducks a kick and takes Condit's back throwing knees to the leg. 2:25 to go. He dumps Condit with 2:15 left. Hendricks lets him back up with 1:52 remaining. BIG RIGHT BY CONDIT but Hendricks survives it. 90 seconds. Hendricks checks a headkick and gets another takedown with 82 seconds left. Condit gets up with 40 seconds left and Hendricks puts him back down with 20 seconds but Condit rolls out and gets back to his feet. Condit gets one last punch and both guys hug as the Bell Centre erupts.

11:55 PM ET. Bruce Buffer. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AFTER 3 ROUNDS WE GO TO THE SCORECARDS - ALL THREE JUDGES SCORE IT 29-28 FOR THE UNANIMOUS WINNER: JOHNY HENDRICKS. There you go! That absolutely solidifies him as the true #1 and next title contender. "Carlos is tougher than HAILLL. I thank you man, you're one hell of a fighter. I tried to fight it smart, get a win, and GSP if you win tonight I want to see you here in five months. I know you guys are GSP fans, but I earned it. Please GSP, give me that fight. If not, I'll hire a ref, come to your house, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT." Condit congratulates Hendricks on a great fight. "The gameplan was to keep him moving backward, I used that, I wasn't able to stop the takedowns though and that lost me the fight." The fans give him a roaring round of applause for his performance.

* Georges St-Pierre {C} vs. Nick Diaz (#3) - UFC Welterweight Title Bout

Diaz finally steps into the Octagon to a roar of boos at 7 past midnight. The lights go down, the audience starts cheering, the music hits and THE BELL CENTRE ERUPTS FOR GSP. They erupt again as he steps in the cage at 12:11. Diaz tried to come over to GSP and Lavigne had to physically push him back. Tale of the Tape! Diaz is 3" taller at 6'1". That's the only major difference. Diaz is wearing black and gray trunks, 27-8, 1 NC, 6'1", 159 pounds, Stockton, California and he's the former WEC and Strikeforce welterweight champ. GSP is in the black trunks, 23-2, 5'10", 170 pounds, fighting out of Montreal as the reigning and defending UFC Welterweight Champion. NO GLOVE TOUCH. Here we go!!!!!

We're underway at 12:15! GSP gets a takedown right away. He comes over the top with an elbow as Diaz tries to push him away in guard. Diaz tries to spin away and GSP takes his back. A loud OLE chant at 1:18. Diaz gets up to his knees and tries to get a takedown of his own but GSP sprawls and then takes Nick's back again. GSP switches sides and hits him with rights to the head from behind. He hops sides, takes side control, and Diaz gets him back to half guard. Half of R1 gone. He puts GSP in full guard but that just leads to some big elbows to the face. He rolls but GSP takes his back again. Diaz can't get to his feet. He's up to one knee with 95 seconds left but GSP drags him back down again. Diaz grabs the cage twice as he stands up and gets warned for it, then gets dragged down again. The crowd is chanting FUCK YOU DIAZ in English. Diaz finally truly gets to his feet for the first time with 36 seconds left but GSP slams him right back down again and punishes him with lefts until the first round ends. Rogan interviews him. "He's the best boxer in mixed martial art and his jiu-jitsu is amazing. It's very hard to find a guy like him. When you fight a guy like this it's almost impossible to get ready for that. I wanted to stay in kickboxing range and stay out of boxing range. He did a great job promoting this fight - please give a hand up for Nick Diaz. Thank you very much. He was in UFC before I came here. I saw his fight with Robbie Lawler. I knew he was going to make a good fight." GSP says something in French to the crowd after.

Nick thanks GSP for the respect, thanks the fans for not spitting on him, and says he's not sure if he's going to keep fighting any more. "I don't want to make excuses. I had to go for the knockout, make him tired, hope I could put my punches together, but he knocked me off with the Superman punch, he blocked the kneebar, he blocked the roll. I think I'm done with mixed martial arts. I'm gonna help my team. I'm tired of getting banged up, I've been doing this for a while. Hopefully I made enough money to invest in something. I want to apologize to my hometown Stockton. I hope I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I love you all and I really appreciate it - Joe Rogan ladies and gentlemen!"
