This week on Ring of Honor, we decide contenders for both the ROH Tag Team and TV Title at Best in the World.

Match 1

Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman vs Tadarius Thomas and ACH vs QT Marshall and Barrister RD Evans

The winners of this match will challenge the tag champions RedDragon in a couple weeks at Best in the World that's essentially the theme of this week's show.

Evans goes for the handshake on all the faces but it's a ploy as Marshall Sneaks in a forearm on ACH. Marshall goes after Thomas but Thomas whips him in to the ropes and launches him in to a kick from ACH, as Corino on commentary isn't pleased that SCUM members aren't getting the opportunities. All four faces beat down Marshall with Coleman and Alexander land a suplex/slingshot senton combination for a near fall. Evans eventually locks in a full nelson on Coleman and tags to Marshall who lands a nice inverted T-Bone face first drop. Evans brings Coleman to the floor but Marshall doesn't do a dive and gets caught by a kick to the head from Thomas, Cedric takes out Evans with a big dive to the floor taking out Evans, Thomas lands a slingshot stunner but gets pulled to the floor but ACH takes out Evans with a dive as we go to commercial.

We come back with ACH landing a big sliding clothesline on Coleman and then coming off the ropes but Coleman moves but Evans comes lands a big kick to the face. Alexander and Thomas trade moves and it's Thomas landing a knee breaker but then Marshall laying him out with Sole Food, but then Coleman comes back with a huge kick of his own. Coleman goes for a backslide but Evans rolls out just to take a vicious kick to the head and everyone is down. Everyone does some big moves but in the end it's Coleman and Alexander with the OVERTIME, Frankensteiner/Frog Splash combination and scores the win.

Winners: Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman. Good little match between these teams, some great fast paced action but in the end C/C get the tag victory and will now face RED Dragon at Best in the World on the 22nd.

We go backstage to The Briscoes. Mark says that BEST IN THE WORLD is just around the corner and he's going to take the ROH Title from his brother Jay. Mark says that before we go there next week they're facing the American Wolves. Jay says that the American Wolves are one of the best tag teams in the world but they aren't the Briscoes and next week their going to kick the Wolves asses.

Inside Ring of Honor

Kevin Kelly hypes BEST IN THE WORLD and we go to Mark Briscoe. Mark says that his brother Jay has been picking on him ever since he was a little kid. Mark says that when they were kids playing basketball Jay punched him in the nose for no good reason, and then he also shot Mark with a dart gun. Mark says that his graduation Jay tried to show off in front of all the girls but Mark was smart enough and slammed his ass. Mark says that nobody fights like family and at Best in the World he will be the NEXT ROH WORLD CHAMPION. We go to ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe. Jay says that he's proud of the man Mark's become but he became that man because Jay kept his ass in line for 28 years. Jay says that in Baltimore they're going to fight in front of the whole family and he's going to whip Mark's ass again.

Davey Richards-Paul London highlights from Border Wars.

Nigel McGuinness is in the ring and brings out both Unbreakable Michael Elgin and Paul London. Nigel puts over the match with Davey Richards and Paul London at Border Wars. Nigel says that London has a spot in Ring of Honor for life. Nigel says that Elgin vs London will happen when London is 100 percent, Elgin vs. London would tear the roof off Ring of Honor. QT Marshall and RD Evans interrupt this. Evans gets the microphone and says he hates to break up the mutual admiration society but nobody cares about Paul London. Evans says that what people care about are QT MARSHALL AND RD EVANS, and the injustice in the tag team division and that is that REDDRAGON couldn't even make Border Wars. Evans says that if REDDRAGON can't defend the titles then they should be stripped of them and the new champions should be the team that is on an unprecedented roll QT MARSHALL AND RD EVANS, and the Toronto crowd chants YOU JUST LOST, and Evans smartly points out that neither him or Marshall were either pinned or forced to submit. Evans pie faces London and then gets back fisted by Elgin and Marshall escapes the ring but doesn't quite make it out of the arena. THE LIGHTS GO OUT and we hear familiar music of someone we haven't seen in months. TOMASSO CIAMPA appears and beats the absolute shit out of Marshall tossing him to the guard rails time after time and then lands an Air Raid Crash on the ramp laying out Marshall. Evans tries to escape but Elgin catches him and basically feeds him to Tomasso who lays out Evans with PROJECT CIAMPA. Elgin turns to leave but Tomasso turns him around and they have a staredown and a batch of referees come to the ring and get in between them and the Toronto crowd chants LET THEM FIGHT. I would love to see a match between Elgin and Tomasso.

We go backstage to American Wolves. Davey says that there have been many great tag team rivalries including Rockers/Brain Busters, and Von Erichs/Freebirds, Davey says that they've never beaten the Briscoes but that changes next week on TV. Eddie says that they are the AMERICAN WOLVES and THE HUNT IS ON.

Triple Threat Match for a shot at the ROH TV Title.

BJ Whitmer vs Jay Lethal vs The Prodigy Mike Bennett.

Our main event is now and it's our 2nd Triple Threat match of the hour for a shot at the TV Title at Best in the World.

Bennett ambushes Whitmer from behind as Whitmer helps Maria out of the ring, and Maria joins us on commentary. Whitmer and Lethal double team Bennett and whip him in to the ropes but Bennett catches Whitmer with a boot but Lethal catches Bennett with a big dropkick. Lethal goes for a springboard but Bennett catches Lethal in mid air with a spinebuster and then flapjacks Whitmer on top of Lethal and Maria seems to like that on commentary. Bennett lands a series of shots and tries to send Whitmer in to the corner but gets reversed but Whitmer catches him with a big clothesline. Whitmer lands a series of chops in the corner on Bennett and then catches Lethal coming and puts him in the corner and lands a big running knee strike to the chest and lands an exploder on Lethal. Lethal ends up on the apron and lethal tweaks his knee, Bennett dropkicks the knee of Lethal sending him to the floor, and lands a big superkick for a near fall as we go to commercial.

We come back and get a brief glimpse of Truth Martini at ringside scouting. Bennett whips Whitmer in to the corner but misses and goes in crotch first and Lethal lands a kick to the back from the apron on Bennett and a big springboard dropkick for a near fall. Bennett goes for the TKO but Whitmer escapes but Bennett lands the BOX OFFICE SMASH for a near fall. Lethal climbs the ropes but Whitmer catch him and go for a superplex but Lethal lands the big elbow drop on Bennett for a near fall. Lethal lands the springboard dropkick sending Bennett to the floor on top of Steve Corino. Lethal goes for Lethal Injection but Whitmer escapes and goes for a wheelbarrow suplex but Lethal blocks and lands a shot to the gut and LETHAL INJECTION gets Lethal the win and the title shot.

Winner: Jay Lethal.

After the match Maria distracts Whitmer claiming he said something to her. Bennett attacks Whitmer and a brawl ensues, and the show ends with Maria saying SHE'S TIRED OF BEING THE PRETTY GOOD and IT'S ABOUT TIME SHE GOT WHAT SHE WANTS.

Pretty good show and sets up a whole bunch of stuff for Best in the World, The two triple threat matches sets up a combined 3 matches with Lethal/Taven, and Whitmer/Bennett, and we also set up Elgin/Tomasso in the middle of the show, and then the tag three way which sets up the tag titles for Best in the World.

Next week on Ring of Honor - the in-ring return of Tomasso Ciampa, a Proving Ground Match involving ROH TV Champion Matt Taven, and in the main event The Briscoes battle the American Wolves as we head to Best in the World.
