News From Around the World:

►The SHINE Championship will be on the line on February 28th at "SHINE 17" as Ivelisse will be making her first title defense against Mercedes Martinez. The Valkyrie's Serena Deeb will be in action against Angelina Love. The SHINE Tag Team Championship Tournament will also be headlining the show, as the first ever champions will crowned. Already announced participants for the tournament are the West Coast Connection of Tracy Taylor and Su Yung, the S-N-S Express' Sassy Stephie and Jessie Belle, Leva Bates and Mia Yim, Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine, Daffney's All Star Squad will be represented by Heidi Lovelace and Solo Dalring known as "The Buddy System," Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb, MSEERIE of MsChif and Christina Von Eerie and The Valkyrie's Made In Sin of Taylor Made and Allysin Kay will be competing in the tournament.

►The Vicious Outcast Wrestling Women's Championship will be on the line on April 5th for "April Assault" as Samantha Star will be defending the championship against Jessie Kaye as part of a Mixed Tag Team Match, in which Star will be teaming with Chance Prophet to take on Kaye and Jimmy Nutts.

►La Rosa Negra is the latest participant announced for VALKYRIE Womens Professional Wrestling's International Joshi Grand Prix. It was announced on last week's Thursday Night AMP, along with Kacee Carlisle in non-tournament action.

►Women Superstars Uncensored's "Mutiny" ushered in the new year for the promotion in Voorhees, New Jersey on Saturday, as their fifth double header with Combat Zone Wrestling coincided with the promotion's fifteenth anniversary, as Mutiny presented the promotion it's most promising card to date, following last October's Blood And Thunder. Two weeks out, the promotion swapped it's headlining match for the more favored match up, as the "highly" requested "International Dream Match" between WSU Champion Jessicka Havok and Alpha Female headlined the show as the previously announced match between Havok and "Portugal's Perfect Athlete" Shanna for the WSU Championship was moved to the promotion's "Secret Show #3" instead.

Signed for Mutiny, were three title matches, which turned into four due to last minute ramifications. The WSU Tag Team Championship would be on the line as Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephie were set to defend their championship against Annie Social and Kimber Lee in a match that has been two years in the making. Marti Belle's Spirit Championship was on the line against Ezavel Suena in a Title vs Mask match. The NWA World Women's Championship was also on the line during the preshow, as Barbi Hayden defended her championship against Santana Garrett. And the fourth title match, see Havok put her WSU Championship up against her opponent, Alpha Female after the match was previously announced under non-title contention. The undercard featured an Uncensored Rules match between Mickie Knuckles and Jewells Malone. Jenny Rose taking on Veda Scott in a Grudge Match and Shanna and Chris Dickinson taking on Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan in a qualifier for the Queen And King Of The Ring Tournament.

The number one contendership to the WSU Championship would be decided as LuFisto took on "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena. Both competitors were number one contenders to the championship at one point, but were sidelined with injury upon their title shot. Last February, LuFisto defeated Mercedes Martinez in a Anything Goes Match for the number one contendership to the title at An Ultraviolent Affair, with her match for the championship slated to headline the 2013 Queen And King Of The Ring, but Havok wound up taking on Sami Callihan instead. That same event saw Athena win the tournament and gaining a shot at the championship as a result, with their match scheduled to headline the Uncensored Rumble 6 in a Two Out Of Three Falls Match, instead Athena was injured on the Secret Show the night previous and the title match was yet again scrapped as Havok's reign continued to soar. This time aound, it will be one match to determine the rightful number one contender to the championship, as the match will headline this year's tournament whether it be against Havok, Shanna or Alpha Female.

You can check out the full review at this link.

Thoughts: For starters, the internet pay-per-view went totally black after continued technical difficulties in the building, as finding an internet connection prevented full service to broadcast the show. Though everything was taken care by the time CZW went live, Mutiny was delayed from it's original start time in effort to resolve the issues before the broadcast, but the issues resumed forcing Drew Cordiero to issue a statement on the promotion's Facebook and on Pro Wrestling Ponderings, offering refunds to those that paid for the show and more.

A day ahead of the show, the promotion held it's third Secret Show in an undisclosed location(presumably the CZW Training School) with the WSU Championship match between Jessicka Havok and Shanna as the only advertised match for the card. The show featured Alpha Female demolishing two opponents back-to-back in Barracuda Britney and Jenny Rose. This prompted DJ Hyde to make Havok's match against Alpha Female for the championship, seeing that Havok retained her championship against Shanna with the Demon Drop. Its obvious Havok has made an enemy out of DJ Hyde, even referring to the champion as a "cunt" to which Havok stood her ground. Havok's reign as WSU Champion continues on, currently over 652 days and counting, as she defeated Alpha Female too with the Demon Drop. Post match, DJ Hyde distracted Havok as Sassy Stephie attacked her from behind with the steel chair, but was scurried off by Alpha Female before anymore damage could be done.

Earlier in the night, Havok substitued for Allysin Kay in the WSU Tag Team Championship match, to which she gave Sassy Stephie the Demon Drop as Kimber Lee ceased the opportunity and covered Stephie for the win. The new champions cited that it was a "bullshit" way to win the titles and issued an open challenge with Nevaeh and Christina Von Eerie answering. Social and Kimber Lee retained, getting the Double Chokeslam on Nevaeh. Jenny Rose took on Hania The Huntress, as Veda Scott suffered a dislocated knee on Friday for Absolute Intense Wrestling. Scott resumed commentary duty for the show as Jenny Rose defeated Hania with the Flying Cross Body. It appeared that Hania kicked out at two, but the referee continued onto three without noticing.

Barbi Hayden retained the NWA World Women's Championship against Santana Garrett on the preshow with the Hayden Halo DDT. Due to Garrett's contractual obligations with TNA, the match was exclusive to those in attendance. Post match, Hayden attacked Garrett's partner, Amber O'Neal with the Halo DDT. The Uncensored Rules Match ended with Mickie Knuckles delivering the Pumphandle Driver to Malone through a doll house.

The Spirit Championship landed in the hands of Niya, that's right. Ezavel Suena unveiled herself as former competitor Niya following the Title vs Mask Match against Marti Belle, to which was not received by the rest of the roster. She attempted to enter the locker room, but was kicked by the roster, to think the championship is within the hands of a non-affiliated competitor that performs within the promotion under a different persona has unveiled that she has been a fraud all along drives this story-line into another direction, as Niya has lost two Loser Leaves WSU match and lost out in two Uncensored Opportunity matches.

Shanna and Chris Dickinson have qualified for the Queen And King Of The Ring Tournament as LeRae took the pinfall, as Shanna had her feet on the ropes. Lastly, LuFisto defeated Athena with the Burning Hammer. LuFisto will take on Jessicka Havok for the WSU Championship on May 10th.

►Beautiful Beaa successfully retained her Pure Wrestling Association Elite Women’s Championship on Sunday against Cassie Cool for Steel City Pro Wrestling.

►Following up on last week''s story, Naomi is still on the sidelines as her ongoing eye injury has worsened over the past several days and could potentially lead to surgery. As seen on last week's Monday Night RAW, Aksana jabbed her right knee straight into the eye of Naomi, whether it be accident or purposely. From there, Naomi tried her hardest to regain full eye sight, but was able to finish the match and quickly headed backstage. It appeared that the Funkadactyl was supposed to have a stare down with the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee as she is slated to take on Lee for the championship at some point, but the constant twitching and pain must have been too much for Naomi continue on.

Later it was reported by WWE.com that Naomi did indeed suffer a bruised orbital bone or a bruised eye socket and a scratched cornea. The company's physician, Dr. Chris Amann, examined her backstage for a possible concussion, but passed the head and neurological examinations and was simply recommended to compress her eye with an ice pack and combat the pain with Tylenol.

It has turned out that her eye had increased in swelling and severe pain, which prompted a visit with a local doctor. A CAT scan was performed, showing that her eye had "small, minimally displaced fracture of the eye socket or orbit on the medial wall, which is the inside part of the socket next to the nose," the swelling was being controlled by oral medication. It was obvious that Naomi had been injured, but the severity didn't appear to be this serious. Again, it looked to be an accident as Aksana's knee caught her right in the eye in effort to reverse Naomi's sunset flip pinfall with a knee drop, in which Aksana could have possibly been tripped up. With that said, this incident has jeopardized the upcoming Divas Championship match between Naomi and AJ Lee, with the latest reports suggesting that she will be required to undergo surgery forcing her to be out of action for a couple of months or longer.

To make matters worse, its been reported that Naomi was scheduled to take the WWE Divas Championship from AJ Lee as part of the lead up to WrestleMania XXX as the long awaited conclusion to Lee's crusade against the "Total Divas." Instead, Brie Bella or Natalya weren't able to wrestle the championship from Lee and Naomi is on the sidelines, the longest reigning Divas Champion is left without an opponent leading into Elimination Chamber and the build up to WrestleMania. With Total Divas returning in a few weeks, March 16th to be exact, continuing to salvage this ongoing story-line is preposterous. Dubious attempts to include the shunned women within the division in Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Layla, Tamina Snuka without either of them uttering a sentence in regard to their disdain for Total Divas eight months into this program.

Its clear WWE has dropped the "ball" with this storyline, starting with Lee's infamous "pipebombshell" that broke ground for this storyline back in August, apparently some of the Total Divas' stars took the promo personally as Lee was slated to have a follow up to the promo, but due to complaints it was nixed.

With her next "pipebombshell" nixed and acknowledgement of her first slowing slipping into non-acknowledgement from the company, Lee explained at the recent Comic Con in New Orleans that she was disappointed in her peers' reactions to her promo, saying that

"So yeah, this is kind of rude and terrible and brutally honest in what I’m saying but it’s going to help us all in the long run, is kinda how I saw it. And it really did for a while, and I think could have been much better if the professionalism surrounding it backstage was a little bit more… just a little bit better. So it was a little disappointing. I really wish that we could have done a little bit more with that."

Though its been pointed out the storyline didn't push the needle in the ratings, but the storyline started off on the right foot, with Lee as the voice of those that were picked over for the more "aesthetically pleasing" inexperienced competitors, with the cast of Total Divas(especially Brie & Nikki Bella) wanting to abolish the negative stereotype that has followed the WWE Divas. But the storyline continued to wind down, which is currently where it stands with Lee without a Total Diva to take on and Tamina Snuka lurking in the shadows.

Lita was announced as the latest inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame on Monday Night RAW. WWEShop is selling a re-released retro Lite t-shirt in tribute. Summer Rae has been cast in WWE Studios' "The Marine 4" along with The Miz. Sarah Backman has revealed her official NXT Diva name as "Shara," even noting that she is the first Swedish competitor in the division. Beth Phoenix had her first child with former WWE Superstar, Edge a month ago.

On Monday Night RAW, Cameron and Nikki and Brie Bella took on AJ Lee, Alicia Fox and Aksana, with Cameron getting the Girl Bye on Aksana(DDT) for the win. Last week's NXT featured Alicia Fox taking on Emma, with Emma getting the Emma Lock on Fox for the win. Sasha Banks, Summer Rae and Charlotte ambushed Emma after the match with Alicia Fox joining in on the beat down. Bayley and Natalya make the save as the babyfaces cleared the ring of Fox, Charlotte and Banks, leaving Summer Rae behind for her to be tossed by the hair by Emma. Speaking of Emma, she appeared yet again on Monday Night RAW, accompanying Santino Marrella to his match with Fandango, which he lost.

Alpha Female made her debut on TNA's Xplosion this past week against ODB. It was reported last week that Alpha Female took part of the Xplosion taping, wrestling against the former TNA Knockouts Champion and Shanna. This match is what was expected when a 6'1" German is pitted against ODB, another competitor known for her strength in the Knockouts division. The match ended in an disqualification as both competitors shoved the referee in attempt to continue their brawling as neither refused to give the other the upper-hand. Alpha Female will be on this week's episode of Impact Wrestling, as she makes her debut as Chris Sabin's bodyguard. The upside, Mike Tenay continued to put Alpha Female over on commentary, even bringing up that its not too often ODB tackles an opponent of bigger stature than she. Alpha Female demonstrated her strength, tossing ODB like with ease for ODB to make a big thud on the canvas. The match ended with neither hand being raised, but it provided build up to their next encounter, which is likely the upcoming "Joker's Wild 2" as ODB, TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky take on Alpha Female, Lei'D Tapa and Gail Kim.

►Crystal Clear, Chanel, Shax, Luminous and Laura Cruz have been announced for BellaTrix 8's thirty-woman rumble match.

►Nicole Matthews is reportedly taking time off from wrestling to nurse a knee injury.

►Hiroyo Matsumoto, Mayu Iwatani and Miho Wakizawa successfully retained the Artist Of STARDOM Championship on Sunday at Shinkiba 1st RING against the former champions Yuhi, Kaori Yoneyama and Kairi Hojo better known as "Chibizu," with Iwatani getting the Dragon Suplex Hold on Hojo. Also, there was a Scramble Tag Team War match between the teams of Kyoko Kimura and Act Yasukawa, Natsuki*Taiyo and Yoshiko and Kellie Skater and the World Of STARDOM Champion Io Shirai, with Natsuki*Taiyo getting the Taiyo-chan☆Spanish Fly on Skater for the win.

But the biggest news coming out of the weekend is another announcement of an impending retirement as Yuhi has announced that she will be retiring from professional wrestling. The 18-year old made the big announcement during Pro Wrestling ZERO1's show at the Korakuen Hall today, citing that she will graduating from high school this year and is ready to move on with her life. Currently a competitor under World Wonder Ring STARDOM, Yuhi was trained by Ikuto Hidaka under ZERO1. From there, Yuhi began her career under ZERO1, losing to Yuzuki Aikawa in her debut match in April of 2012.

By the end of November of 2012, Yuhi had became a regular competitor within STARDOM, teaming up with Aikawa for the Goddesses Of STARDOM Championship tournament, she and Aikawa lost to Natsuki*Taiyo and Yoshiko. She ended the year by defeating Act Yasukawa with the Firebird Splash in the finals of the 2012 Rookie Of STARDOM on December 9th. As a result she earned a title shot, choosing Hiroyo Matsumoto as her partner they unsuccessfully challenged Taiyo and Yoshiko for the titles.

In April of 2013, Yuhi unsuccessfully challenged Natsuki*Taiyo for the High Speed Championship at "Ryogoku Cinderella: Champions Fiesta."After coming up short in the title match, Yuhi pinned "Dark Angel" Sarah Stock in a tag team match, leading to Stock putting up the Wonder Of STARDOM Championship against Yuhi for "Golden Age" on June 2nd, in which Yuhi was unsuccessful. Her luck changed on June 23rd when she, Kaori Yoneyama and Kairi Hojo won the vacant Artist Of STARDOM Championship in a decision match against Hailey Hatred, Kyomo Kimura and Christina Von Eerie. Chibizu made two successful title defenses before dropping the titles to Alpha Female, Kimura and Ayesha Ray in November. It looked that Yuhi had a promising start to a long career, having already grappled with the best in Aja Kong, Manami Toyota, Meiko Satomura and much of the current crop of competitors on the scene. Yuhi's final date for STARDOM will be March 16th, whereas her  last match under ZERO-1 will take place on March 30th.

JWP's 2014 Tag League the Best continued on Sunday. Hanako Nakamori and Takako Inoue advanced in Block B, defeating Sachie Abe and Yako Fujigasaki as Nakamori got the Destiny Hammer on Fujigasaki. Arisa Nakajima and Kana advanced in their respective block, Nakajima handcuffed Kana to the ropes and won the match by herself, defeating  KAZUKI and Raideen Hagane with the Daruma German Suplex on Hagane. Currently every team within the league has two points including the likes of Rabbit Miu and Tsukushi, Commannd Bolshoi and Kyoko Kimura, Leon and Ray and Kayoko Haruyama and Manami Katsu, with the exception of Yako Fujigasaki and Sachie Abe.

Tsukasas Fujimoto picked up her sixth title defense as ICEx∞ Champion on Sunday against Shu Shibutani.

Mio Shirai booked the matches for the upcoming OZ Academy show on March 2nd, Shirai booked herself in a title match, taking on AKINO for the OZ Academy Openweight Championship. Shirai also booked her partners, Mayumi Ozaki and Yumi Ohka against Tomoka Nakagawa and Hiroyo Matsumoto for the OZ Academy Tag Team Championships. She also booked Chikayo Nagashima against Sakura Hirota, Manami Toyota and Carlos Amano against Hikaru Shida and Kagetsu and Dynamite Kansai, Aja Kong and Tsubasa Kuragaki against Sonoko Kato and partners to be determined.

►Lana Austin and Jenna will be taking on Bete Noire and Viper for Leicester Championship Wrestling Roses' "War Of The Roses" on March 1st.

►The Absolute Intense Wrestling Women's Championship changed hands on Friday in Cleveland, Ohio. Ahead of the upcoming back-to-back taping of "Girls Night Out 11& 12," the championship was put on the line for "TGIF" as Allysin Kay defended the championship against Veda Scott in a rematch from Girls Night out 10, with Scott officially severing ties with Gregory Iron, as the "creepy, vindictive, obsessive distraction" cost her the AIW Women's Championship.

On Friday, Allysin Kay retained the championship against Scott with the Gogoplata, the same maneuver thatsealed Scott's faith back at Girls Night Out 10. It was noted a few weeks back that Leah Von Dutch had been nixed from Girls Night Out after being advertised on the first official flier for the taping, Dutch was "fired" by the promotion along with the rest of #Nixon, leading to Chest Flexor announcing that Rickey Shane Page and Eric Ryan would be taking on each other with an AIW contract on the line with The Duke as the special guest referee. With that said, like Girls Night Out 9 Dutch was inserted into the match up in repeat fashion, as The Duke announced that match included a third participant that is undefeated within #Nixon, The Duke fast counted the pinfall on Eric Ryan, which lead to Rickey Shane Page and Ryan to be escorted out of the building.

Seeing that The Duke has picked his "favorite" and ultimately cost his former tag team a contract within the promotion, The Duke then demanded that Leah Von Dutch received an immediate shot at the AIW Women's Championship as the champion made her way out to the ring. The Duke gave Allysin Kay the Duke Driver as Von Dutch took the easy pinfall and became the new AIW Women's Champion as The Duke(still in referee form) counted to three. With Leah Von Dutch as the new champion, the atmosphere at the Girls Night Out taping will definitely be different, as Von Dutch is head of the division with Allysin Kay looking a possible rematch and the likes of Mia Yim, Angelus Layne, Mickie Knuckles, the Social network of Annie Social, Heidi Lovelace and Sammy Geodollno, Marti Belle, Xandra Bale, the debuting Kaela, Thunderkitty, Seleziya Spark, Jenny Rose, Jasmin, Kimber Lee, "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena, Hania The Huntress, Angel Dust and Nikki Storm in pecking order for a title shot. Speaking of Allysin Kay, Absolute Intense Wrestling reported the former champion was rushed to the hospital following the match, reportedly suffered a severe stinger and possible concussion and was awaiting results.

As for Von Dutch, this makes three championship for her, currently holding the Xtreme Bombshells Of Wrestling Championship which she retained over the weekend against Courtney Rush in a Steel Cage Match, the CCW Women’s Championship and now the AIW Women’s Championship makes Von Dutch a Triple Crown Champion.
