News From Around the World:

►Absolute Intense Wrestling has announced more matches for their upcoming back-to-back tapings of “Girls Night out 11 & 12” on March 29th in Cleveland, Ohio. Joining the previously announced contest between “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena and Mia Yim and the headlining AIW Women’s Championship match between Allysin Kay and Leah Von Dutch for Girls Night Out 11, Kay Lee Ray will be making her first appearance in the United States against Mickie Knuckles.

Kay Lee Ray, the current Insane Championship Wrestling Fierce Fatales Champion will be matched up against the former AIW Women’s Champion Mickie Knuckles for her debut for the promotion and in the country. The roughhousing of Knuckles has made her notorious, as her hardcore cross-breaded brawling has made her a competitor to be feared and weary of. Don’t expect this contest to stay in the ring, as both competitors thrive in the outside environment.

Knuckles latest appearance for the promotion featured she taking on Jenny Rose in a No Disqualification Match for Girls Night Out 10, as Rose’s carcass was sent through a table via a Suplex. Knuckles then appeared for Women Superstars Uncensored’s “Blood And Thunder,” taking on "Sweet" Saraya Knight was a No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere, Fans Bring The Weapons match. The match showcased both competitors' notorious styles, as everything from baseball bates to brooms were utilized. Knuckles recently Pumphandle Slammed Jewells Malone through a doll house for WSU’s “Mutiny” in an Uncensored Rules Match, whereas Kay Lee Ray has endured her share of hardcore matches overseas.

Also, The Social Network’s Heidi Lovelace and Annie Social will be in action against Jenny Rose and a mystery partner. Kimber Lee will be taking on Hania The Howling Huntress, Sassy Stephie will be taking on the debuting Kaela, Angelus Layne will be making her official debut for the franchise against Jasmin, Marti Belle will be taking on Thunderkitty and Angel Dust will be taking on Nikki Storm. And Veda Scott will be taking on “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” Shanna. As a twist to their partnership back at “Girls Night Out 9” as Scott selected Shanna as her partner for the “Dream Partner Tag Team Match” against then AIW Women’s Champion Allysin Kay and her choice, Mia Yim. Yim picked up the win on Shanna, as Scott was chased backstage by Kay.

►Barbi Hayden retained her NWA World Women’s Championship against Kat Green for NWA Branded Outlaw Wrestling on Saturday, handing her second title defense.

►Seleziya Sparx, LuFisto, Courtney Rush and Vanessa Kraven will be squaring off in a four-way for Smash Wrestling’s  “Destiny Awaits” on March 30th, the winner will become the captain for the upcoming CANUSA Classic, as they will lead Team Canada against Team USA.

►Marti Belle will be taking on Chrissy Rivera in a Street Fight for the NYWC Starlet Championship for New York Wrestling Connection’s “Aftermatch” on March 22nd.

►Hania The Howling Huntress and LuFisto will clash for the first time at Alternative Wrestling Show’s “12 Year Anniversary” on March 22nd. LuFisto was originally pitted against Candice LeRae for the show, but due to LeRae haven’t to miss the show, Hania took her place instead. Also, the AWS Women’s Championship will be on the line as Christina Von Eerie defends against Hudson Envy.

The promotion’s fourth annual “The Woman's Tournament #4" will headlined by the main event match between Cheerleader Melissa and Serena Deeb. Both competitors will be colliding for the very first time, as this is the SHIMMER Champion’s debut for AWS. There will be an eight-woman tournament, consisting of three rounds, an AWS Women’s Championship match and the infamous five-on-five match, with five women competitors taking on five male competitors. Sage Sin, Lady Lee, Kikyo Nakamura, Amazona, Mariah Moreno, Nicole Savoy, Raze, Datura, Hudson Envy, Kuria Hime, Kitana Vera, Cole Pistol and Christina Von Eerie have been announced for the show. Allie Parker and current WWA Women’s Champion Kahmora will be making their debuts for the tournament.

►Kacee Carlisle will be taking on Mickie Knuckles for VALKYRIE Womens Professional Wrestling on May 24th in the non-tournament match up. Jessie Brooks has been announced for the International Joshi Grand Prix.

►The REINA World Championship is still wrapped around the waist of Syuri. On Sunday, the championship was on the line for Wrestling New Classic+Joshi-Pro Wrestling REINA's show at Shinjuku FACE, as Syuri successfully retained her championship for the third time against Kyoko Kimura. It was perceived that all of Syuri's championships were to be defended, including the WNC Women's Championship and the CMLL-REINA International Championship; instead the REINA World Championship was put up against Kimura, with Syuri getting the High Kick on her for the win. Syuri will be heading to Mexico in the upcoming weeks, as her championships will be on the line for CMLL on April 14th.

Io Shirai's World of STARDOM Championship will be on the line this Sunday at "STARDOM THE HIGHEST” as she takes on Cheerleader Melissa. The current SHIMMER Champion will be making her debut for the promotion against Shirai for the title, albeit the SHIMMER Championship will not be contested for. Cheerleader Melissa’s last visit to the country took place almost seven years ago, as she came up short against Hikaru for the EWA World Ladies Championship. Over the last several years, the "Female Terminator" has continued to compete across the globe, competing overseas while maintaining her roles in SHIMMER Women Athletes and nCw’s Femmes Fatales. The two-time SHIMMER Champion topped the Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Top 50 Females back in 2013 and could possibly be bringing the "red belt" with her into New Orleans, Louisiana on April 5th, but she will have to wrestle the championship away from Shirai first to pick up her first championship from Japan. For Shirai, can’t constitute this as her "biggest" challenge to date, as she unseated Alpha Female for the championship almost a year ago, an opponent that had the height, weight and strength advantage over her. Back in December, Shirai put her title up against Arisa Nakajima with the prestigious JWP Openweight Championship and the World Of STARDOM Championship on the line, with the possibility of one woman as the head of the pecking order in both promotions. Instead the match ended in a draw and both competitors retained their championships as a result. Io Shirai currently has five successful title defenses over the likes of Nakajima, Nanae Takahashi, Yoshiko, Natsuki*Taiyo and Kyoko Kimura, as Cheerleader Melissa is the sixth competitor to challenge for the championship. Cheerleader Melissa is currently six successful title defenses deep into her reign as SHIMMER Champion, besting LuFisto, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Leva Bates, Courtney Rush, Kalamity and Mercedes Martinez.

Nanae Takahashi and Kairi Hojo will be challenging Kyoko Kimura and Alpha Female for the Goddesses Of STARDOM Championship, Act Yasukawa's Wonder Of STARDOM Championship will be on the line against Yuhi, the Tawashis(Hiroyo Matsumoto, Miho Wakizawa and Mayu Iwatani) will be defending their Artist Of STARDOM Championships against Kaori Yoneyama, Kellie Skater and Hatsuhinode Kamen, Madison Eagles will be taking on Takumi Iroha, Natsuki*Taiyo will be taking on Yoshiko and Koguma will be taking on Yuna Manase.

Tomoka Nakagawa and Kellie Skater picked up their sixth title defense as SHIMMER Tag Team Champions at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on Sunday. The champions bested Madison Eagles and Evie at Joshi 4 Hope "V,” with Nakagawa getting the 120% Schoolboy on Eagles. Tsukushi replaced Manami Katsu in her match against Misaki Ohata, as Katsu injured her left ankle during training. Ohata picked up the win, defeating Tsukushi with the Hana Maru Dokkan. Kagetsu defeated Rina Yamashita with the Ebisu Down, Leon got the Mad Splash on Dobson, Alpha Female wrestled twice, defeating Sakura Hirota in under two minutes with the Lariat, defeating Sakura again with the Powerbomb and Natsuki*Taiyo and Yoshiko’s match againt Yuhi and Hiroyo Matsumoto went to a time limit draw.

Lylah Lodge made her debut for World Woman Pro-Wrestling DIANA on Sunday, as she and "Crazy" Mary Dobson defeated Cindy Sanders and Evie. Also, Alex Lee made her return to the country, taking the loss to Aliya’ on Sunday. Manami Toyota will be challenging Mask de Sun for the World Woman Pro-Wrestling DIANA Championship on April 6th.

Shu Shibutani is set to challenge Cherry for the Triangle Ribbon Championship on March 30th. Shibutani defeated Neko Nitta and Tsukushi in a decision match for the number one contendership to the title, getting the Time Machine Ride on Tsukushi. This will be Cherry's second title defense as champion, her first successful title defense came against Mio Shirai and Kurumi back on March 1st, using the Haruyokoi on Kurumi for the win. Also, Hikaru Shida will be working her last match as a member of the roster on March 30th, Muscle Venus will be officially dissolved as Shida takes on longtime partner, Tsukasa Fujimoto. Together, Shida and Fujimoto picked up their sixth and seventh title defense, retaining the International Ribbon Tag Team Championship against Miyako Matsumoto and Mio Shirai on Sunday and against Hamuko Hoshi and Matsumoto on Wednesday.

►Reby Sky has been announced for Highspots' "Queens Of Combat" on March 21st.

►Leicester Championship Wrestling Roses has announced the lineup for its May 10th show at Brockington College in Enderby, Leicester, England. “Mayday” will be compiled of Rhia O’Reilly, Kay Lee Ray, Violet Vendetta, “The Living Dead Girl” Felony, Shauna Shay, Nixon, Jenna, Shauna Shay, Nikki Storm and the return of Addy Starr. The promotion has announced the first match for the card, as Starr will collide in a rematch with Rhia O’Reilly in the main event. Their last encounter took place at “Roses Rumble” as O’Reilly was disqualified for refusing to stop choking Starr on the ropes.

April Davids' Preston City Wrestling Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line on March 28th against Bubblegum. This will be Davids third title defense. The Futureshock Women's Championship will be contested for on Maarch 23rd, as Danni Hunter defends the championship agaisnt Lana Austin.

Nikita Naridian and Demi Bennett are the latest competitors announced for New Horizons Pro Wrestling’s Global Conflict Tournament. Joining the previously announced competitors in Mercedes Martinez, "Sweet" Saraya Knight, Evie, Madison Eagles and Kellie Skater, the tournament takes place on May 24th.

►Kacee Carlisle retained the World Xtreme Wrestling-C4 Women’s Championship against Samantha Starr on Saturday.

►Mademoiselle Rachelle has revealed the third competitor of her team for Femmes Fatales XIV, joining Sassy Stephie and recent acquisition Jodi D'Milo, Anna Minoushkawill be returning to the promotion as part of Rachelle's team. Together, Minoushka, Stephie and D'Milo will be taking on Mary Lee Rose, Pink Flash Kira and their partner,Vanessa Kraven. Minoushka's last appearance for the promotion featured she taking on Missy, Mary Lee Rose and Milouu in a dark match that preceded Femmes Fatales VIII. This will be Kraven's debut for the promotion. The six-foot tall Kraven will be embarking on her tenth anniversary upon her debut, as Kraven broke into the business back in April of 2004. She is referred to as "The Mountain" in reference to her stature and is definitely a powerhouse.

►Pro Wrestling Syndicate's all-women offshoot, Bombshell Ladies Of Wrestling, presented its ninth show in Avenel, New Jersey on Saturday. Titled “March Madness,” the show was packed with debuts in Cristina Diemond, LuFisto and Taeler Hendrix with the returning cast of Mia Yim, Alexxis Nevaeh, Annie Social, Jennifer Cruz, Hania The Howling Huntress, Sumie Sakai, Missy Sampson, Vanity, Angel Dust, Amber Rodriguez, Mistress Belmont, Serena Deeb, Jessie Kaye, Sienna DuVall and La Rosa Negra all making it for competition. The Bombshells Championship and Majestic Championship were on the line as Missy Sampson defended her championship against Amber Rodriguez, with La Rosa Negra pitted against Alexxis Nevaeh, Sienna DuVall, Hania The Howling Huntress, Sumie Sakai and Mistress Belmont with the Majestic Championship on the line in the suicidal six-way match.

The promotion’s last show in Avenel, New Jersey back on December 14th, featured the Bombshells Championship on the line in a Best Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match as part of the promotion's one year anniversary, as Missy Sampson regained the Bombshells Championship for a second time, closing the book on the eight-month tirade that seen Sampson continuously sought after the championship she “never lost” and captured what was rightfully “hers.” On the heels of the Bombshells Championship match on February 22nd, in which Sampson retained the Bombshells Championship through disqualification as La Rosa Negra struck Sampson in in the back of the head with one of the belts, the promotion unveiled the full card for March Madness containing eight matches with the title match ahead of the show placing implications on two matches on the card. March Madness would see Mia Yim taking on Serena Deeb for the first time, Taeler Hendrix taking on Annie Social, Jessie Kaye taking on Grandma Butcher, Angel Dust going up against Vanity, Cristina Diemond making her debut against Jennifer Cruz, LuFisto challenging La Rosa Negra for the Majestic Champion, Missy Sampson defending the Bombshells Championship against Amber Rodriguez and the six-way match between Sumie Sakai, Mistress Belmont, Alexxis Nevaeh, the debuting Angie Skye, Hania and Sienna DuVall.

Instead, LuFisto and Angie Skye were forced to back out of the show, with LuFisto dropping the announcement on Facebook. With that the promotion swiped La Rosa Negra and the Majestic Championship into the six-way match with her championship on the line. Again La Rosa Negra was inserted into another match up, this time her championship was put up against Taeler Hendrix, as Annie Social and Alexxis Nevaeh were permitted from appearing due to last minute emergencies. La Rosa Negra successfully retained her championship against Hendrix and attacked her opponent after the match, with Sampson making the save for Hendrix. Jessie Kaye defeated Grandma Butcher after Chokeslamming him onto thumbtacks twice. Hania defeated Sumie Sakai, Mistress Belmont and Sienna Duvall in a four-way. Cristina Diemond was successful in her debut, defeated Jennifer Cruz. Serena Deeb defeated Mia Yim. Angel Dust defeated Vanity and Missy Sampson successfully retained the Bombshells Championship against Amber Rodriguez.

Thoughts-For whatever reasoning, Bombshell Ladies Of Wrestling has received little to no coverage on their shows, as I turned to Missy Sampson for results. With that said, some developments occurred on the show. For starters, Commissioner Vinny Finucci verbally berated Jennifer Cruz in front of those in attendance. Finucci appointed Chasity Taylor as his assistant. From there Finucci inserted Taylor as the special guest referee into Cruz’s match against Cristina Diemond. Finucci looks to have another target, following his troubles with Missy Sampson. Despite Alexxis Nevaeh’s absence, Jessie Kaye and Amber Rodriguez continued onward with “Strength In Numbers.” Hania The Howling Huntress was recruited into the stable, as Kaye and Rodriguez offered her membership after her match with her accepting. Both Jessie Kaye and Hania caused interference in Rodriguez’s title match against Missy Sampson, which brought out Taeler Hendrix. Hendrix and Hania brawled to the back while Rodriguez and Kaye gained the upper hand on Sampson. La Rosa Negra hit the ring and took out Kaye and Amber Rodriguez, as Sampson picked up the successful title defense.
