The show may be pre-taped tonight but our coverage of it is live all the same! Hit F5 or refresh for the latest updates when the recap starts at 10:00 PM EST, 9:00 Central.

I know I always say it, but I long for the day "The Scariest Places on Earth" is cancelled. Even the cheesiest, campiest, lowest special effects budget film is scarier than this stupid show. Hell Kane's "See No Evil" is scarier. Speaking of which he's our new ECW champion and his reign of terror begins on ECW... TONIGHT~! Our show opens with footage from the WWE.com 24 Man Battle Royal that took place in Orlando, with Kane tossing geeks left and right until Mark Henry is left. Kane boots him out of the ring to get his title shot, then gives Chavo Guerrero a chokeslam to finish him off in under ten seconds. There's some word that this was a punishment for Chavo because he was backstage at an Impact taping but I never got any official confirmation of that.

Here comes Kane! Finger Eleven is much better music to start off ECW with than "Don't Question My Heart." He raises his hands, throws them down, and BOOM go the ring corner pyros. Kane looks good with championship gold around his waist, I'm sure Nikes would agree! "At WrestleMania, I had the satisfaction of unleashing my destruction on 23 other men. I defeated the likes of Snitsky, Mark Henry and The Great Khali - EARNING the right to face Chavo Guerrero for the ECW Championship. And later that night, when I finally faced Chavo, hehehehehe, I decimated him in a mere 8 seconds, to become the NEW E, C, W, CHAMPION!" Right on Kane! "ECW..." (crowd chants E C DUBYA at Kane). "ECW has had some of the most exciting, spectacular, and brutal moments in sports entertainment. But now that I'm champion, you haven't seen anything yet!"

CM Punk's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring with Money in the Bank in his left hand and a microphone in his right. Kane: "So I see that you had a good day Sunday too. But if you're out here to do what I think you're gonna do, you won't have a good night tonight." Punk: "Take it easy big fella. I'm extremely happy I won Money in the Bank, but I came out here to let you know I'm a little jealous. I have a guaranteed contract but then again you actually won a championship. Then again my championship match can happen whenever I want - next year, next month, next week, but if you really want to press me it can be right here, right... now."

Chavo interrupts. "Stop right there! No one is getting a title match before me. Kane your victory was nothing but a fluke!" Kane: "Fluke! Chavo I beat you in 8 seconds." Punk: "That has to be some kind of record. Not only did you make history by losing the ECW title at WrestleMania, you set a record in the process. Congratulations Chavito!" Chavo: "Ha ha ha, very funny. I did something no one else had to do - I had to prepare for 24 different opponents. Kane attacked me from behind because he knows he can't beat me face to face. Next time I promise you I'm gonna be ready for your little game. And then all of YOU, all of you will once again be proud to call me YOUR ECW champion." (Boooooooooooooo!) "In the meantime, tonight, you two are gonna be in a match togetherrrr. Don't be upset, I talked to Armando Estrada, you'll be together not as opponents but as partners, and you'll be facing me and someone who feels he has a little unfinished business with you from Sunday."

Out comes Shelton Benjamin and of course he has a mic too! "Are you feeling lucky Punk, you should feel lucky because the only reason you're standing with that briefcase is because two men tipped me over at the top of a ladder. If that wasn't enough try going through another ladder on the way down. A normal man would be laid up in the hospital but I'm not a normal man. And tonight, you're gonna find out exactly why Shelton Benjamin is the gold standard!" Punk: "I look forward to finding out Goldilocks. I look forward to showing you that you can call yourself any snazzy nickname that you want, but there's one you can't call yourself - Money in the Bank!" Punk holds up the briefcase and the two teams glare at each other as we go to break.

We're back with highlights from WrestleMania 24. Now that I've seen the PPV broadcast, I feel like my experience has come full circle. As special as it was to be there for Ric Flair's last match ever, it was another thing altogether to hear Jim Ross doing the play-by-play commentary. It was also really good to finally see all of the triple threat match instead of the last 30 seconds only from when the Titantron screens over the ring finally came back on. Time for another match!

* Stevie Richards v. Mike Knox

These days when I look at Knox all I see is Festus with a beard and half the talent. Knox shoves Richards into the corner to hit multiple shoulders to the gut until the ref backs him off. Richards responds with a head kick that sends Knox to the floor. Richards tries to run him down off the apron but Knox blocks with an elbow. Knox throws him back in the ring and clubs on his back before hitting a delayed vertical suplex for a one count. Richards throws chops from his knees but Knox puts hits boots into Richards face then his gut. Stevie ducks a clothesline and ends up in a bear hug. They're booing for a second, then the first "LET'S GO STEVIE" chant I've heard in a long time breaks out. Richards boxes the ears of Knox but he doesn't let go of his grip. Finally the ref sees something illegal and separates them, but Knox slams him down and goes up to the second rope for a sitout bomb... and misses! Stevie hits an atomic drop and kicks to both legs. Cover for two then more kicks to his backside, but Knox drops Richards over his knee then corkscrews him to the mat for three. I think Vinny would call that "Doing the Knox." WINNER: MIKE KNOX.

Replay shows us the backbreaker and corkscrew faceplant again. I must admit, it's not a bad combo. Tazz & Styles throw us to a video package of highlights from the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. From what I've been told by the people who were there live Flair's speech was HEAVILY cut down for TV, and references to both Arn Anderson and Chris Benoit were removed (obviously for different reasons). I look forward to seeing what gets included and what gets left out on the DVD release. Commercial!

We come back and they're already promoting WrestleMania XXV at the Reliant in Houston. This time I think I will be getting the travel package. I've already been to the Reliant, it's a BEAUTIFUL venue, and I can't wait to go there again! Tazz is in the ring with Colin Delaney and asks him how he liked Orlando. "Well for once I didn't get beat up, I guess that's because I didn't have a match, but next year I hope to be there not because I bought a ticket but because I've worked really hard at this." Armando interrupts. "Colin, have I got great news for you amigo! Over the past few weeks you've proven to me how badly you want to become a WWE superstar, which is why I've come out in front of these people to offer you your first official contract. Congrats amigo, you've earned it. You worked hard, congratulations, how-however there's one thing I forgot to mention... APRIL FOOLS!" Colin is crestfallen as Armando laughs. "Hey! You want to earn a WWE contract then all you have to do is defeat THIS man."

* The Big Show v. Colin Delaney

Welllllllllllllllll this won't last long! Big Show looks down at his diminutive foe, and Colin just stares at Big Show's feet. The bell rings and he tries to look up at Show, but he can't. He tries to step aside in either direction but Show blocks his way. He tries to walk out but Show locks a vice grip around his neck, lifts him off his feet for the chokeout, the ref rings the bell and Show throws him aside like a rag doll. WINNER: THE BIG SHOW. That may actually be the most GENTLE beating that Delaney has taken in a squash match thus far. Colin continues to sell being put out as we get a card promoting Kane & Punk vs. Chavo & Shelton as our main event before commercial.

Tazz sings the HEY OHH song as we come back from break as Styles tells us to go to WWE.com to see exclusive interviews and tributes to Ric Flair. Styles then throws us to a video of highlights of WWE paying tribute to Flair from last night's Raw. Even 24 hours after seeing footage of all the fans and wrestlers paying tribute to Flair it's still a little emotional. Commercial break. When we come back it's time for the main event!

* Chavo Guerrero & Shelton Benjamin v. Kane & CM Punk

They doubled the pyro budget for tonight - Kane gets to hit his four corners again as the last man out for the match. He lets Punk start things off for their team and Chavo has Shelton do the same. Loud CM PUNK chants as Shelton overpowers and shoves him into the corner. Punk makes a comeback and hits a snap suplex for a one count. Punk grabs the left arm of Benjamin and Kane tags in to continue the beating. Kick by Kane to the face of Benjamin. Chavo tags in and starts working on Kane with uppercuts, but Kane reverses and throws him into the corner. Kane gets a boot up to block. tags out and lets Benjamin throw punches. Kane angrily throws Benjamin over the ropes to the floor. Chavo charges him and gets the same treatment. Chavo tries to work Kane on the apron but Punk kicks him off to the floor and the two stand strong in the ring as we go to break.

We're back after a Sci-Fi promo for "10.5 Apocalypse" with another commercial showing highlights from WrestleMania 24. Once we return to the ECW ring, Kane is bringing the physicality in the ring - surprise surprise that the heels didn't get the heat during the break. Benjamin finally does it by clotheslining Punk to the ground and tagging in Chavo. He hits an uppercut but Punk cuts him off with a backbreaker for a two count. Chavo continues to pummel his jaw every chance he gets, whips Punk to the corner, charges in to splash him, but on a second attempt he gets picked up for a G2S, which is blocked as Chavo grabs the ropes and Benjamin uses the situation to kick Punk in the face. Benjamin tags in and covers for two. Quick tags and both men beat down Punk repeatedly until we reach the 10:00 mark with Chavo stretching out Punk and applying a knee to his back, then covering for a near fall. There's no escape for him as Benjamin tags in for some ground and pound. Punk is whipped to the corner and picked up but Punk counters and collapses his weight on Benjamin for a cover. Benjamin grounds him again and hooks a leg for two. In comes Chavo. He works an armbar trying to hyperextend Punk's elbow. Punk tries to punch his way out, Chavo picks him up for a suplex, Punk counters it into a step-up knee and a bulldog! Punk finally crawls over and Kane gets the hot tag. Kane cleans house on the freshly tagged Benjamin and does a HUGE leg drop. Kane pummels Benjamin from pillar to post until Chavo makes a run-in, but gets cleared out himself and Benjamin eats a boot. Kane goes up top and Chavo crotches him to prevent a big move. Punk makes a blind tag, hits a running kick to Benjamin's face, picks him up for the G2S and covers him for three as Kane chases Chavo away to prevent the save. WINNERS: CM PUNK & KANE. That's it for a fun edition of ECW on Sci-Fi other than the replay footage. G'night all!
