Mike Poulin's: Ring of Honor TV Recap - Kazarian's Heel Turn

We go backstage to The Briscoes, Jay Lethal, and Bobby Fish. Mark says that the Bullet Club are starting to piss him off. Lethal says that Cody may call himself the American Nightmare but tonight we have the ROH Dream Team and he and the Briscoes will take care of Cody and the Young Bucks. Fish says that his history with Adam Cole is well documented and promises to end Adam Cole tonight.

From Stage AE in Pittsburgh PA it's Ring of Honor. This week the Six Man Tag Titles are defended for the first time on ROH TV, Plus in our main event it's an 8 Man Tag Team Match as Jay Lethal Bobby Fish and the Briscoes battle Cody The Young Bucks and Adam Cole.

Match 1

The Kingdom-Matt Taven T.K. O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia vs The Rebellion-Kenny King Rhett Titus and Caprice Coleman

O'Ryan and Titus lock up, and both men try to pull each other's hair and both men complain. Marseglia and Coleman tag in and both men go for kicks and Coleman yells at Marseglia for some reason. Taven and King lock up and Taven lands a series of shots. King lands a series of shots and goes for an Irish whip in to the corner but King catches Taven with a sunset flip out of the corner for a near fall. Titus comes in and lands a series of shots but his knee goes out on him which stops the match and we go to commercial.

Coleman lands a big bulldog and goes for the tag and makes the tag out but referee Paul Turner is distracted. Kingdom works over Coleman but Coleman fights out of the corner and makes the tag out. King comes in and cleans house and lands a big spinebuster and Lio Rush comes out to join the Rebellion and King makes the tag out. Rush cleans house and the Kingdom double team. Kingdom whip Rush in to the ropes and Rush ducks a double back elbow, Rush then turns on King and lands a Diamond Cutter on King and leaves. Kingdom pick up King and land the SUPERNOVA for the win.

Winners and Still ROH Six Man Tag Team Champions: The Kingdom-Matt Taven T.K O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia.

Match 2

2017 Top Prospect Tournament Round 1

Brian Miloanis vs Raphiel King w Devin Nicole

Miloanis and King trade punches to start things and Miloanis backs King in to the corner and lands a series of punches in the corner. Miloanis whips King in to the neutral corner but King leaps over and lands a series of clotheslines followed by taking the knees out of Miloanis. King lands a series of shots and works over Miloanis. Miloanis comes back but gets caught in the ropes and distracted and King lands a big kick to the chest. Miloanis comes back again and lands a big sidewalk slam followed by a senton driving his head in to the chest of King for the win.

Winner: Brian Miloanis.

Jay Lethal vs Bobby Fish Number 1 Contenders Match

Hardy Boys vs Young Bucks vs RPG Vice for ROH Tag Titles

Marty Scurll vs Lio Rush for the ROH TV Title

The Kingdom vs Dalton Castle and the Boys World Six Man Tag Titles

War Machine and Davey Boy Smith JR vs Bully Ray and the Briscoes.

Decent all be it sort of light card for a PPV  I wonder if certain matches get more time than normal.

Main Event

Cody ROH World Champion Adam Cole and The Young Bucks vs Jay Lethal Bobby Fish and Jay and Mark Briscoe

Lethal and Cody are about to lock up but Cody chicken shits out and tags Matt Jackson. Lethal knocks Cody off the apron and Matt catches him from behind, Matt whips Lethal in to the ropes but ducks underneath a clothesline and lands a big suicide dive to the floor. All 8 men brawl. Everyone spills to the floor and does big dive. Lethal and Cody trade shots and both men fight to the floor. Briscoes and Bucks trade shots and it's the Bucks land a double superkicks sending to the Briscoes. Lethal avoids double superkicks and goes for double Lethal Injection but Bucks avoid it and land double superkicks. Bucks land a double gutbuster/blockbuster combination on Fish. All 8 men brawl and do spots with Cody and Mark with a superplex taking everyone out and we go to commercial.

Cody lands a series of kicks in the corner and make the tag to Nick Jackson. Nick lands a series of shots and we get a double team from the Bucks. Matt lands a series of shots and locks in a front facelock and works over Mark until he can make the tag out. Lethal comes in and lands a series of clothesline and works over Cole and sends the Bucks and Cody to the floor. Lethal lands suicide dives on both of the Bucks, Lethal goes for the dive on Cody but Cody moves and Lethal Nails Fish with the dive. Lethal and Fish get in to it and start to brawl and brawl through the crowd as we go to commercial.

Briscoes try to fight off the Bullet Club and dispatch of Cole Cody and Nick Jackson. Briscoes double team Matt with a crucifix/neckbreaker combination followed by the Doomsday Device for a near fall. Bullet Club eventually use the numbers game on Mark. Bucks land superkicks, followed by CROSS-RHODES from Cody and the suplex/knee breaker combination. Bucks land the Meltzer Driver on Mark to finish the match.

Winners: The Bullet Club-Cody Adam Cole and the Young Bucks.

After the match Christopher Daniels get in the ring behind Adam Cole. Daniels and Cole trade shots but Cole catches him with a shot to the gut but Daniels lands ANGELS WINGS on Cole. Daniels gets scissors but Cole fights him out. Daniels lands another Angels Wings and Kazarian comes to the ring as well. Daniels has Cole cornered and is about to cut the hair when Kazarian reveals that he has joined the Bullet Club by taking off his jacket revealing a Bullet Club. Daniels argues with Kazarian leading to the Young Bucks taking out Daniels with a double SUPERKICK. Show ends with Cole promising to end the career of Daniels.

Next week on Ring of Honor it's Anything Goes when War Machine battle BJ Whitmer and Punishment Martinez.
