Tonight Nickolye is filling in for our regular Raw recapper Ian Clark at 8 PM ET covering the fourth Raw since GBOF on July 9th. Last week Kurt Angle booked Brock Lesnar for a fatal four-way match at SummerSlam and tonight we get three of the competitors he'll face in one match: Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe! Please hit F5 or refresh while the show is in progress for the latest updates.

Hometown hero and Raw General Manager KURT ANGLE heads to the ring in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to a rousing ovation!  This is my Kurt Angle: "Welcome to Monday Night Raw, right here in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! With SummerSlam around the corner, I guarantee you I have an incredible show planned for you. Tonight, in the battle of the 7-foot tall giants, it's going to be Big Show vs. Big Cass. MizTV strikes a little home for when Miz will host my son, Jason Jordan. And three of the contenders for Brock Lesnar's Universla Championhsip will go at it tonight in a match that's PPV worthy. It's gonna be Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe in a triple threat match. Before we get started tonight, I want to personally address the WWE Universe. Today marks the 21st anniversary of when I won a gold medal. I didn't just win a gold medal, I won a gold medal with a broken freakin' neck! Although I've had my ups and downs over the years, I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for each and every one of you, so thank you. It's true, it's damn true!"

BROCK LESNAR IS HERE! The champion and his advocate head to the ring to confront the Raw GM, and neither of them look happy. Paul Heyman: "I know what you're doing. I figured out the scam. I know the strategy. I see the +angle+ that you're playing here. you want to, you need to, you have to take the Universal Title off of Brock Lesnar. Why else, tell me please why else would you put my client in a fatal 4-way at SummerSlam? Not just a regular fatal 4-way against the single most stacked heavyweight division in WWE history. Think about it - first there's Braun Strowman, the sheer size and strength and speed of this monster among men. Any time in history he could be, would be, should be Universal Champion. And then there's the Undertaker-slaying Roman Reigns, born to be champion, bred to be champion, groomed to be champion. I bet Mr. Angle in your mind ready to be champion. Then there's that Samoan disgrace, that... oh I get it. You want him to be champion, then you want to stick it to Brock Lesnare. I get why you're doing this, I respect what you're doing, I half-assed admire it. You have a demanding Chairman telling you to do whatveer to get that title off the champion. I know what's going to happen. All three of these title-worthy contenders are going to gang up on Brock Lesnar to where even a beast can't survive and then fight amongst themselves to see who becomes champion. They'll do it tonight, except at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar doesn't need to be in th epinfall or submission equation to lose the championship. Ladies and gentlemen, why don't we just rename this 'SummerSlam 2017: Brock Lesnar loses the Universal Title'? Because, sir, respectfully, you've been told to make Brock Lesnar pay the ultimate price, haven't you? So it boils down to this. If Brock Lesnar loses the Universal Championship at SummerSlam, he leaves WWE. And I'm leaving with him, beause Kurt Angle here comes a piece of news that you're not going to like. My client BROCK LESNAR will not lose his title, his Universal Championship at SummerSlam - not to the unstoppable Braun Strowman, not to the Undertaker-retiring Roman Reigns, not to the cheap shot artist Samoa Joe. Because at the end of the night, there will be ana nnouncement at WWE SummerSlam. That announcement will be, 'Ladies and gentlemen, you winner and still REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED UNIVERSAL CHAMPION, BROCK LESNAR!!" And with that, Lesnar and Heyman exit.

Time for the first commercial break with a promo for John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura plus Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles for the United States Championship on SmackDown Live tomorrow night.

* The Hardy Boyz vs. Gallows & Anderson

The Revival are sitting on commentary for this match, and we get clips from Raw last week where they defeated Gallows & Anderson while the Hardyz watched from the rampway. This match gets underway with Matt and Anderson locking up, Hardy gets a side headlock, clean break on the ropes, Anderson goes for a cheap shot, Matt blocks and puts him back in the side headlock, hits a shoulder block, headlock takedown, and Anderson counters with a back suplex. Matt holds onto the headlock, Jeff tags in, arm wringer, Matt tags back in, elbow to the arm, shoulder breaker, continues to work on the arm, Jeff tags back in, Irish whip, double mat slam, legdrop/splash combo, and Jeff covers for 1. Gallows comes in, Hardyz hit him with Poetry in Motion, and they hold down the ring as we go to commercials.

When we come back, Jeff is fighting back on Gallows but gets beat down in the wrong corner. Gallows gets a 2-count, missing a punch, Jeff hits a Twist of Fate and both men are down! Anderson gets the hot tag and stops Jeff from reaching his corner, but then crotches himself on a turnbuckle. Matt gets the hot tag, slams Anderson's head on the turnbuckle pads, running clothesline in a corner, bulldog, covers for 2, whips him back into a corner, catches his feet, swings him across the ropes and hits an elbow drop. Matt gets on the middle ropes, elbow top the back of the head, Side Effect connects, covers, gets a near-fall, calls for the Twist of Fate, Anderson counters, Matt hits a back elbow, Gallows kicks him on the back of the head and Anderson hits the Rocket Kick. Gallows tags in, sets up for Magic Killer, Jeff dropkicks Anderson, Gallows uppercuts Jeff and boots Matt in the face. Matt side-steps Gallows, kick to the gut, hits the TWIST OF FATE, Jeff gets the tag and lands the SWANTON BOMB for 3!

WINNERS: THE HARDY BOYZ.

The Hardy Boyz and The Revival mouth off to each other on the stage, then they start swinging fists, and then Gallows and Anderson join in on the melee! The Hardyz throw Gallows into the stage, knock Karl Anderson and Dash Wilder off the stage, then Jeff hits his Twist of Fate on Dawson who turns around to Matt's Twist of Fate right on the stage!! Finally, The Hardy Boyz hit Poetry in Motion on Anderson and Wilder! Hardyz dominate both teams!

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose as we take a look at the ending of the handicap match main event last week. Renee asks him if he and Seth Rollins asre getting back together. Ambrose says they did well together last week, but before he can answer her question, Rollins shows up to give compliments to their good teaming. Ambrose says as much as the WWE Universe wants a Shield reunion, he is not getting burned by Seth again.

After a commercial break, Rollins is walking backstage looking a little dejected at what Ambrose said moments ago. The Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Sheamus, start mocking him. They say they had the opposite experience where at first they couldn't stand each other but now they are best mates. Cesaro reminds him that he stabbed Ambrose in the back and Sheamus adds that he is now all alone. Sheamus: "You couldn't even be on an episode of Ride Along!" Cesaro: "Maybe we can get you your own show on the WWE Network, maybe called Ride Alone." Rollins challenges them to a fight and doesn't care which one faces him. Sheamus steps up to the challenge and tells him to stop digging his own hole.

* TJP, Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari vs. Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander & Akira Tozawa

Tomorrow night on 205 Live, Tozawa faces Daivari and the winner will face Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam. Alexander and Nese start the match, Nese wants to do his Premiere Athlete pose, they lock up, Nese takes an arm, Alexander flips out of it, backflips into a headscissors and dropkicks him. Daivari gets the tag, Alexander with an armdrag and holds on for the armbar. Swann tags in, Irish whip, ducks under a leapfrog, somersaults over him, ducks under a swing, tilt-a-whirl headscissors, covers for 1, then puts him in an armbar. Tozawa tags in, taped shoulder and all, snapmare, running kick to the chest, standing senton, 2-count, Daivari wrenches the arm and drops him to slow him down. Titus O'Neil pleads with Tozawa to save himself for tomorrow's match but Tozawa shouts that he's okay. They dispute this through the commercial break.

Daivari has Tozawa in an armbar working on the injured shoulder when we come back. During the commercials, Nese had hit a shoulder breaker. O'Neil is still barking at Tozawa to get  back in the match and fight through the pain. Tozawa finally makes a comeback after rolling through a sunset flip for a running kick. TJP and Swann get the tags, Swann clotheslines him two times, back kick to the gut, flipping legdrop to the back of the head, Rolling Thunder splash, Nese breaks up the count, Alexander flies in with a springboard clothesline to Nese, then both Swann and Alexander do flip dives onto Nese and TJP on the floor!! Daivari checks in on the situation but Tozawa flies at him with a suicide dive! Back in the ring, Swann has TJP in position, Nese tries to distract him but Alexander trips him up on the apron. TJP sets up for the Detonation Kick, Swann counters, TJP rolls him up for 1, Swann counters with a rollup for 2, Tozawa gets the tag, Swann hits TJP with a KO roundhouse kick, Tozawa hits the jumping senton back-splash from the top rope and gets the 3-count!

WINNERS: RICH SWANN, CEDRIC ALEXANDER and AKIRA TOZAWA.

Post-match, Daivari is upset about being on the losing end. Meanwhile, Titus O'Neil gets a selfie with the winners. MizTV is next!

* MizTV w/ guest Jason Jordan

The Miz, Maryse, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel all head to the ring. The Miz: "I can't tell you how much I hate this city, but the show must go on. Welcome to the most must-see WWE talk show in history, welcome to MizTV." Miz says his talk show is buzzworthy and so is Kurt Angle's story invovling his guest, Jason Jordan, who comes out with new a theme song. Miz says Jordan's story is like a movie and asks him how his life is like now, even questions that some people were booing him. Jordan says the fans can do what they want and calls Miz an expert at getting booed. Miz retorts that he is an expert at Raw then wonders out loud how he gets his opportunities. Miz offers Jordan the chance to let him guide his career. "I am offering you an opportunity to join the MizTourage!" Jordan denies saying that he's good. Miz reminds us that he has main evented WrestleMania, then tells him that he can make him a success. "You need my help." Jordan appreciates it but passes up on it. Miz: "Of course, why would you need the help of an Intercontinental Champion when dad's the Gnereal Manager and can hand you everything you want?"

Jordan: "Whoa whoa whoa, nobody ever said anything about being handed anything. You know what, I talked with Kurt and told him I don't want any preferential treatment. So anything that I achieve is gonna be because I earned it." Miz: "You are so naive. 'My dad's an American hero and I have to do everything the right way.' Don't be foolish. I don't care who your father is, this company will chew you up and spit you out!" Jordan: "Maybe it will, but I'd rather be chewed up and spit out than have any type of success being associated with someone like you." Miz: "Someone like me? A success, a champion, or someone like you who has to latch onto a different Olympian every week? Or maybe like your father who's a washed-up old jock who got his job out of pity? This is your hero, a man who threw away the best years of his life. It is no wonder that he is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, because he is a lot like this town - sad, broken-down and pining for glory days that are never coming back!" Jordan: "You know what Miz? You can say what you want about me, but if you say one more word about Kurt I'm gonna make you regret it." Axel and Dallas step up, but Miz pulls them back, goes for a cheap shot at Jordan who ducked and suplexes Miz into the MizTourange! Jordan walks away with a smile on his face as Miz scowls at him.

We get a short promo from Roman Reigns on how he will send a message to his opponents tonight, and also reminds us that he's the one who "retired" the Undertaker. Breaktime.

* Sheamus {Raw Tag Team Champion} vs. Seth Rollins

Cesaro comes out with his tag team partner. Rollins comes out by himself, no Ambrose. They lock up, Sheamus backs him into a corner, clean break, Rollins puts him in a hammerlock, Sheamus hits an elbow, headlock, takeover, shoulder block, Rollins leapfrogs, Sheamus catches him, Rollins goes for a headlock, knees and kicks, and hits a running dropkick. Sheamus uses the ropes to gain an advantage, misses an attack, Rollins dropkicks him, Sheamus rolls out the ring, Cesaro causes a distractioin, Sheamus takes control and throws him into the barricade before a commercial break.

When we come back, Sheamus is looking to pull Rollins onto his shoulders and hits the rolling senton from the top ropes and covers for a near-fall. Rollins comes back with a neck snap on the top rope, but then Sheamus catches him in mid-air for the Irish Curse backbreaker and gets a 2-count. Sheamus hits a running shoulder tackle to the ribs, gets on the top rope, Rollins ducks a diving clothesline, and drops his head on the middle turnbuckle. Rollins chops him on the chest, runs into a right hand, hits an enziguiri, connects with a suicide dive, throws him back into the ring, hits the springboard crossbody, sling blade, gets on the top rope, drops Cesaro, counters White Noise with a sunset flip and gets 3.

WINNER: SETH ROLLINS.

Cesaro blasts Rollins from behind, checks on Sheamus, Rollins attacks him, and the Tag Team Champions gang up on Rollins. The crowd chants for Dean Ambrose but the champs destroy Rollins with an assisted White Noise. Rollins is getting back to his feet, Cesaro and Sheamus go back on the attack, and HERE COMES AMBROSE! They quickly gang up on him as well, stomp him down, and Cesaro drops him with the Neutralizer! Both Rollins and Ambrose are gasping for breath after being destroyed by the champs. Ambrose is challenging them again, and gets beat down again, but this time he eats a Brogue Kick. The champs take their championships and finally head to the back.

We get a promo from Samoa Joe talking about how he pushed Lesnar to the limit, dominated Roman Reigns, and says Braun has to pay after interfering in his business. "Tonight, I'm going to make a statement. Braun, Roman, someone's going to sleep." Breaktime.

Bray Wyatt is out next. Wyatt: "There is no escape, not for you, not for your children, and certainly not for Finn Bálor. The truth is that no mortal man can escape the darkness. Look at you. You're all held down by humanity's shackles, doing everything you can to cope with all this pain. Look at you. You're pitiful. You hear me Pittsburgh? I said you are pitiful! You try to hide behind your sins and become something you are not, but you can't hide from me because I see you. Because I am Bray Wyatt and I am everywhere. I'm right there when the honest man tries to justify stealing. And I am right there hiding in the shadows when you all want to stand with pride and proclaim yourselves as part of the Bálor Club. It's as if your blind delusions hev led you to believe that you live vicariously through Finn Bálor. You have been infected with the sickness of hope that makes you think that one day your life can be special. You see this ordinary man Finn Bálor, and you see him do these extraordinaly things. You watch him fall and you feel the heat from his pain, and you foolishly rejoice when he rises through the ashes. But not me man, not me. I see Finn Bálor for what he truly is, the putrid shell of a man that never was. Finn Bálor exists of a borrowed time like all of you, of tomorrow's dreams and yesterday's promises. Yeah, but still you speak with voiceless arrogance. 'If I fall down, you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna get back up, nothing is stopping me, I can do it!' Hahahahahaha! So tell me, how did it feel last weke when I took your precious little hero and I twisted his body and turned him into a heap of broken promises right here? Did it hurt you? Did you travel back down that path of decayed hope or did you see it for what it truly is? Did you realize that sometimes life knocks you down? When Bray Wyatt the Eater of Worlds knocks you down that you ain't getting up. There is no return and there certainly is no escape." Wyatt drops the mic and poses.

Bálor's intro music plays, but he appears in the ring behind Wyatt! Bálor is just standing there with his back to Wyatt and arms spread out. Wyatt laughs and says he likes it very much, but Bálor hits the overhead Pele kick. Wyatt exits the ring, Bálor dropkicks him through the ropes, then runs around the ring to hits a running dropkick sending Wyatt OVER the barricade! Wyatt sits on the floor in the midst of the crowd and smiles while Bálor poses on the ropes.

Finally, it's Braun Strowman's time to give his promo and says he is not like most men. He causes chaos and does what he wants to whoever he wants whenever he wants. He says he will destroy his opponents because he wants Lesnar at SummerSlam and proclaims himself as the "champion among men." That match is next!

Braun Strowman

* Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns

Strowman hits Joe with a forearm, Reigns goes on the attack, Strowman throws him into a corner, splashes him, splashes Joe, splashes Roman, splashes Joe, clotheslines Roman and throws him out the ring. Strowman is in firm control as we take a commercial break.

When we come back, Strowman is choking Joe with his boot in a corner, Roman side-steps him in the opposite corner, Joe clotheslines him and hits the follow-up enziguiri, Roman takes him down with a jumping clothesline then they both throw him out the ring. Roman uppercuts Joe, clotheslines him two times, Joe reverses an Irish whip, counters a clothsline and applies a Fujiwara armbar. Roman reaches for the ropes, so Joe switches to the other side to prevent the rope break, but that allows Strowman to drag him out the ring, slam his head on the apron and tosses him into the barricade. Roman punches Strowman, the fight ends up in the crowd, Strowman punhces him in the gut, slams his head down and tosses him back ringside. Joe puts Strowman in the Coquina Clutch! Joe releases the hold to go at Reigns, but Roman connects with his punches. Joe reverses an Irish whip sending him into the barricade, hits a back elbow, and follows up with the enziguiri kick. Joe throws Reigns back into the ring, Roman kicks him, blocks the Urinage, hits several back elbows and numerous clotheslines then boots him in the face. Roman calls for the big punch, Joe rolls out the ring, Roman jumps off the steps and still connects with the Superman Punch! Strowman is back on his feet at ringside and blocks the spear with a boot to the chest. He overpowers Roman and backs him up into the ringpost, takes out Joe, throws Roman into the steel steps, running clothesline to Joe, then LAUNCHES Roman into the ring through the ropes. Strowman throws a set of steps into the ring, heads over to Joe, but Joe hits an enziguiri and running senton, gets in the ring and hits a senton to Roman and gets a near-fall. Joe sets up the steps in a corner, Romman goes for a Samoan drop, but Jpe counters into the Coquino Clutch. Strowman breaks it up, throws Roman out the ring, plants Joe with the running powerslam, covers and Reigns breaks it up. Strowman slams Reigns in the turnbuckles, grabs the steps, drags it with him, picks it up, and Reigns hits the Superman Punch! Roman hits Strowman with the steps, charges at Joe hitting the SPEAR, covers and gets 1-2-3!

WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS.

We get clips from Raw last week where Big Cass had another dominating match against Enzo Amore. Big Show came out afterwards but Cass beat him down as well. Show is doing push-ups in the locker room, Enzo shows up to apologize for getting him involved, and thanks him for saving his ass. Show says he enjoys a good fight, adds Cass needs to learn respect and he CAN teach that.

Elias (Samson) is in the ring after a commercial break, and he seems to have lost his last name. "Hello, I am Elias, and I have one question tonight. Who wants to walk with Elias? Last week, I laid Finn Bálor's soul to rest. Now I'm here in the place I grew up, Pittsburgh, P-A. I can remember sitting outside on the hill, looking out and seeing the sights Mount Washington, the river, but the thing that stand osut the most are the people. It's the people of Pittsburgh that have inspired me to write this song:

"Pittsburgh, it's the city of bridges, but really the city of pitts / This place has no hope, not when its team is the Pirates / Man I'm back in Pittsburgh, what a terirble choice / People here are truly garbage, but at least you can hear my voice /  Ohhh Pittsburgh, what have I done to you? / This place gets worse every single time, man I swear it's true."

Kalisto randomly interrupts, and it looks like he's having a match.

* Elias vs. Kalisto

They lock up, Elias backs him into a corner, clean break, Kalisto puts him in a side headlock, Elias with a takedown off the ropes, Elias pushes him off, Kalisto slides under him, kicks him, backflips into a swinging headscissors but Elias counters and throws him into the ropes and out the ring. Breaktime.

Elias is still in control when we come back with a rear chinlock, hits a couple of kneedrops to the ribs, then back to the chinlock with a knee to the back. Kalisto counters with a jawbreaker, but Elias boots him in the face, throws him into a corner, stomps him down, delivers a backbreaker, gets a 2-count, standing suplex,  2-count, then puts him in the Canadian backbreaker. Kalisto fights out, upkick, backflips, roundhouse kick, side-steps him in a corner, kicks him in the head, springboard seated senton, dropkick to the knee and a hurricanrana DDT. Elias kicks him in the head, hits the spinning reverse nebreaker and gets the 3.

WINNER: ELIAS.

Then later on, he ran out to help Rollins during his attack by Cesaro and Sheamus but ultimately got beat down. Backc in the locker room, Ambrose is still feeling the pain. Rollins shows up to thank him and asks him why did he show up. Ambrose says he knows his plan and didn't want to look like the bad guy if he did not help him, and continues to shoot down the idea of Rollins wanting his help.

* Bayley vs. Nia Jax

Bayley goes on the attack, Nia doesn't go down, she grabs Bayley by the hair and throws her out the ring, but Bayley holds on and hammerlocks her in the ropes then clubs her on the back. Nia headbutts her, Bayley keeps fighting, Nia whips her into a corner, Bayley tries to float over, Nia catches on her shoulder, Bayley counters with a sleeper hold, but Nia slings her and throws her out the ring before another mid-match commercial break.

Bayley lands on Nia with a diving crossbody from the apron, Alexa Bliss shows up and Bayley takes her down! Nia whips Bayley into the barricade, Bayley side-steps Nia who crashes into the steel steps, slides back into the ring and the referee counts up to 10.

WINNER via countout: BAYLEY.

Alexa tries to get in a cheap shot again but Bayley fights her off and gets away. Backstage, Renee interviews Big Cass (who is looking brown) and says Big Show and Enzo will not teach him respect because they don't respect themselves. "Big Show, you're nothing more than a miscreant, all 7-feet of it. At the end of the night, you'll see what a lesson of respect looks like when it's lying in a heap in the middle of the ring."

After the break, Enzo Amore comes out and does his shtick. Enzo: "Big Cass, you have done some terrible things. I gott a keep it real wit you. Enzo Amore ain't no angel. I have done some dirty dastardly disgusting despicable things. But in all of my life, I have never not one time in my entire life eaten the brown part of a bruised banana. How you doin'? And I would eat the brown part of a bruised banana, I would eat a banana peel before I ever stop keeping it real because I don't change up when the going gets tough. That's a G. And you know what you are? You're a fraud, you fugazi, you sawft. And I'm not writing checks that my hind end can't cash. I got a guy. He's gonna come out here, break out his checkbook, and he's gonna write you a reality check. And I got news for you people. He's been doing this a little while. The guy's got money, he's rich. So he ain't bouncing no check, but he's bouncing you. He's gonna leave you black and blue in the city of black and yellow! The World's Largest Athlete, The Big Show!"
