Thurs. #1 is HERE. Please follow us on Tumblr or Twitter, subscribe to us on YouTube or like us on Facebook. Don't miss Thursday Night AMP at 9 PM ET! With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Thursday's latest wrestling news.

The YouTube subpocalypse is for real and my YouTube channel could use your support. I need 1,000 subscribers to survive and it's at 773 subscribers right now, an increase from when the bad news broke, but I still need 227 more. While the revenue generated is small compared to a Game Grumps or a NoDQ it's still very much necessary to keep our operation running. Please subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan and help me out!

Kevin OwensWWE doesn't know how much time Kevin Owens will need off until he goes under the knife for knee surgery, but the fear is if it's worse than currently known he could be out of action for as much as eight months. (WO)

In this interview John Cena talks about his reputation for holding people back: "I don't care about the reputation I have. What I care about is the performance I give. But the easiest way to just silence that problem is to take me out of the equation. Here's the crazy thing, all the people that have chastised me for staying around too long, are now chastising me for not being around. (It's) also a great exercise to know that you will never be able to please these people, because they always need something to be cynical about. I guess that's why they are called critics. But I'm very happy now, because it truly is... it's like it was in 2002, when Randy and Dave and Brock and myself and Shelton... those guys came up and everybody left. We changed the name of the company, the XFL had failed. A bunch of Superstars left, and now you are left with these new guys, and it's like sink or swim. And we just happened to have a very, very talented group of individuals, and it was a long, long swim. I mean the stock was at 7 bucks for a long time, and now the fruits of our labor are kind of showing, and the company is bigger than it has ever been. So I'm very excited for all the Superstars now. I hope they understand in perspective, as Randy is towards the end of his run, Dave obviously has had tremendous success in the movie business, he's another (one) that has transcended the industry and deserves his just due. My days as a full-timer are certainly numbered, and that has nothing to do with extracurricular activities. I just... as a 41-year old I can't do it. If you look at anybody in my shoes... Chris Jericho had taken a break, Hulk Hogan had certainly taken a break. I think the only guy that may fall into that category of not taking a break is Flair. But Austin had already been done, Rock was already done. So people are like, 'Where are you going man?' I'm 41!"

According to Dave Scherer, Asuka isn't being pushed because of her command of English: "Oh there's tons for her right now, he (Vince McMahon) just doesn't want to (because) she doesn't speak good English. I mean say what you want but that's the bottom line. If she spoke good English I think she would be getting more. He wants you to be able to cut promos."

WWE has plans for Trish Stratus and Lita after the WWE Evolution PPV, in particular plans that involve them working together as a tag team. Mike Johnson: "I was told the decision was made about two weeks ago to turn that into a tag and part of it is they want Trish and Lita to be a tag team going forward. They have for them coming out of this for them to be appearing on major shows as a tag team." (PWI)

In this interview with ESPN, Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin) talks about her WWE history: "I do have an interesting story. I debuted on NXT season 3. NXT was still a reality-based elimination show, and I debuted on live TV. I basically wrestled my first matches ever on TV. I was pulled up as a last-minute replacement on that season, and I had about three days to prep for my debut. I didn't even own wrestling boots. They gave me some money. I had just gotten signed by WWE, and they said, 'Go buy diva stuff,' and I, of course, didn't know what that meant, and they didn't let me wear any of the stuff that I bought! Laughs So I debuted, and I kind of had this attitude of 'This is what I signed up for and I have this amazing opportunity - what have I got to lose?' I was put in so many situations that were so terrifying that I felt that they were very defining. I won that season of NXT, and I earned a spot on the main roster. I fought really hard for a few years to earn the respect of my peers and show everyone in the WWE Universe that I was capable and that I belonged on the main roster. When I left, I didn't have anything to do with wrestling for four years. Within the past year, I found that passion again, and I've gotten back in the ring, and it's definitely something that I was missing - a void in my life for the past few years. It's incredible to come back and see where the women's division is now. When I left in January of 2014, I had a great run, and the women's evolution was kind of kicking off, but there's been so much amazing stuff, so many amazing moments that have happened and have been very defining for the women's division. I think even not calling us Divas anymore is huge. It's so nice to come back and see all these different types of women, different shapes, sizes, different cultures, with different arsenals of moves, and being celebrated. I'm so, so proud and very honored to be a part of the Mae Young Classic."

Here's the line-up for next week's MYC episode on Wednesday night. (WWE)

* Meiko Satomura vs. Lacey Lane
* Mia Yim vs. Toni Storm
* Tegan Nox vs. Rhea Ripley
* Deonna Purrazzo vs. Io Shirai

Don Callis appears to be done as an English language announcer for NJPW. (WO)

The line-up for Impact Wrestling tonight is below. (IW)

* The LAX/OGz Summit
* Tessa Blanchard vs. Keyra
* Puma King vs. Petey Williams vs. Jack Evans vs. Trevor Lee
* Austin Aries, Killer Kross, & Moose vs. Fallah Bahh, Johnny Impact, & Eddie Edwards

Here Dolph Ziggler explains why he spoofed the entrances of other wrestlers: "It was proving a point. I've had some ups and downs in my career, and like I said before, I'm always trying to do different things. I just wanted to prove a point to people, whether they respect their work, when it comes to WWE, they'll just follow whoever they have to follow without thinking for themselves. So, I made it a point to play music and make fun of people who were all show and no go. And you guys went along with me, and ate it up and were so sad when they didn't get to see an entrance instead of the actual work that goes into the product."

Here's a breakdown of who is in charge of NXT live events. (WO)

* Matt Bloom runs the shows near Orlando.
* Steve Corino runs the shows in Florida that are farther from Orlando since Bloom's main job is running the Performance Center.
* Michael Hayes books the outside of Florida tours and he's the one who also decides which talent works those shows.

Speaking of NXT, WWE NXT UK debuts October 17th on the Network at 3 PM ET. For our readers in England, that's 8 PM local.

WWE is still looking into opening international versions of the Performance Center. (WO)

Here Juice Robinson talks about his title loss to Cody Rhodes: "I lose all the damn time. I've lost my entire career. Everywhere I've went I lost. It all started coming together when I came here in 2015, and yeah, it was a long road. But fast forward to 2018, I was the U. S. Champion. And you know what? That meant the world to me. Yeah, I lost to Cody Rhodes. Cody; I'm sorry, we're not even going to say 'Rhodes' anymore I guess. But wrestling is in his blood. Cody is a great wrestler, and I walked into the Pyramid thinking, 'Oh he's going to pull your tights. He's going to hit you in your kintama. He's going to throw you into the fence, body slam you onto the ground. He's going to hit you with a chair, he's going to pull your hair, gauge your eyes. He's going to have his beautiful wife Brandi stick her nose where it doesn't belong'. You know what? Out of all those things, he only did about two or three of them. Anyways, I lost to a better wrestler. What am I going to do, cry about it? No! I'm going to start over. I'm tagging with Henare in the second match, I'll get to that in a second. I'll win; I'll earn my way back to a championship match, trust me there."

Speaking to TMZ, Ronda Rousey talks about the Bellas: "Nikki Bella, Brie Bella ... they're a bunch of untrustworthy bitches. The most respectful thing for me to do is to go out and beat her right away, right? So, I'm not gonna be respectful."

As long as we're doing TMZ right now here's what Sunny (Tammy Sytch) had to say after leaving prison: "I used the time to my advantage, worked more on my recovery and got in great shape. My probation violation cost me 7.5 months of my freedom, but I met a few good people I will miss. The one thing I won't miss is the food!"

Ten episodes of WWE Main Event between 2012-2013 are being added to the Network this week. (WWENN)

Both Wade Keller and Wrestling Observer are reporting that Saudi Arabia's plot to lure journalist Jamal Khashoggi back to the country, who has disappeared since entering a consulate in Istanbul, could now place WWE's deal with the Crown Prince/General Sports Authority in peril.

Speaking of Dave Meltzer, he says there are some unhappy wrestlers in New Japan right now. "Let's just say that the next few months are going to be very interesting. Some early contract offers made have raised some concern to go along with the issues mentioned in last week's issue. While there is a lot of pride here for the quality of the matches stemming from the Kobe and Long Beach shows during what is usually the post-G-1 down period, and the great reaction to G-1 and its business success, but the new regime (Harold Meij and new General Manager Michael Craven) is very different and not experienced in dealing with wrestlers. There may be economics that we're not aware of, but there was a lot about the U.S. expansion with enthusiasm, between the new dojo and running a regular California and West Coast second circuit (which I don't think would have been a good idea) and the pull back from there, and other changes. But it feels like a lot has changed in the last 30 days." (WO)

There are a slew of wrestling birthdays today: Ricochet (30), Andy Douglas (40), Taz (51), Tony Chimel (51), Rikishi (53), Tonga Kid (53) and Sam Houston (55). If the late Dusty Rhodes was still with us he'd celebrate today too. (PWN)

Three names are confirmed for ROH Survival of the Fittest Nov. 4th: Tracy Williams, Marty Scurll and Andrew Everett. (ROH)

New WWE related videos are available below.

MLW has announced they will tape MLW Fusion on Dec. 13th and 14th at the Scottish Rite Temple in Miami.

In this interview Eddie Edwards talks about his new book: "Anything is possible is something I've always told myself, trying to keep that positivity throughout my career. In the wrestling world, there are some high highs and some low lows, but if you keep that positive outlook and remember that anything is possible, in the end, it's cliche, but your dreams can come true."

The Hollywood Reporter says Batista (Dave Bautista) has joined the cast of Fantasy Island.

2:00 PM ET. The decision to turn Bobby Lashley heel was because they need more heels on the Raw roster AND they needed a way to get Kevin Owens off of TV for his aforementioned surgery. (WO)

3:00 PM ET. Triple H and Shawn Michaels hype up WWE NXT UK.

Ronda Rousey has launched a new website unsurprisingly named RondaRousey.com. On the new site she talks about winning the women's title at SummerSlam: "It's kind of beyond words. I don't know. It's like a blur, looking back on it. All I wanted to shout out when I got up there is 'this is for Rowdy Roddy Piper' and my voice totally cracked. So my least badass moment ever. But I don't even care, I meant it. I said it and I meant it. It was just so awesome. It was kind of like being married in a way that I didn't think anything would change and it would feel any different, but it did change everything and everything does feel different. It changed what I felt like my role was too. Before I just felt like a tourist in a way. Before I was like: 'I'm here to have fun and I get to enjoy it and do all this awesome wrestling stuff and all these things I always wanted to do since I was a kid!' It didn't really seem that serious because I felt like I was nowhere near the level that all these other women that have been doing it for years are at. And then suddenly the championship title is thrust into my hands and it's no longer just about fun. I'm not holding an accessory in my hands, I'm holding a huge responsibility. I'm holding a whole division in my hands and regardless of what skill level I think I'm at, I have to step up to what the position deserves and that means I just have to work a million times harder than I was before."

From ROH: "Sumie Sakai, hot off a Championship defense against Tenille Dashwood, teams with Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, who is riding high after a star-making bout at All In, to take on two of Sumie's former proteges, Jenny Rose and Stella Grey!" (ROH)

In this interview Chuck Taylor gives WWE an unflattering comparison: "I like punk rock music and to me WWE is Nickelback. I know they've got loads of fans but that's not cool to me. I want to go to a small venue in south Philadelphia and I want to watch a punk band play in front of 400 people that want to be there, that love it, that love every song. That's cool to me. I don't like mass-marketed stuff. Before, if you weren't in WWE, there were like seven guys in wrestling that were making a living and not needing an extra job. Now there's so many guys that can do it. I don't necessarily need to be rich, just let me pay my bills."

5:00 PM ET. John Cena says he isn't part time because of acting: "As a 41-year old, I can't do it. If you look at anybody in my shoes... Chris Jericho had taken a break, Hulk Hogan had certainly taken a break. I think the only guy that may fall into that category of not taking a break is Flair."
