It's time for another episode of 205 Live on the WWE Network! WWE 205 Live recap for Nov. 13, 2020 and it's in the Capitol Wrestling Center. Who will do battle in the cruiserweight division? Tune in for all the details. Hit F5 to refresh the live recap.

It's the 205th EPISODE of 205 Live! A very underrated show called 205 Live has done more for the WWE superstars than most people give credit for. After the success of the Cruiserweight Classic, a Cruiserweight Championship was announced and the cruiserweight division was reborn. Some superstars have gotten their start on the purple brand, but have later made their way to the red and/or blue brands. Names like Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo, Buddy Murphy, Drew Gulak and Kalisto have all made names for themselves on the big shows after having great runs in the cruiserweight division. But superstars like Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, The Brian Kendrick, and the Bollywood Boyz just to name a few have stayed in the land on the cruiserweights to lead the new breed.

At the moment, we have two Cruiserweight Champions - Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar. Devlin is stuck in the UK so he cannot travel to the U.S. to defend his title - possibly be rebranded for NXT UK. However, in the United States, the NXT Cruiserweight Champion is Santos Escobar. So tonight, we're getting a fatal 5-way match and the winner will be the #1 contender for the NXT Cruiserweight Title!

* Tony Nese vs. Ariya Daivari vs. Ashante "Thee" Adonis vs. Curt Stallion vs. August Gray

This is NOT an elimination match. Adonis exits the ring while the others get down to battle. Stallion and Grey are left in the ring, Gray rolls him up for 2, the competition gets intense, then Nese and Daivari take them out. Adonis stays outside the ring but finally gets in to attack both OG's of 205 Live, driving his shoulder into the midsections of Nese and Daivari, back body drop to Nese, spinebuster to Daivari, and gets a 2-count. He gets double-teamed by the two originals, and now Nese and Daivari are left. They decide to play around, but Gray hits a diving crossbody to both, and Stallion rolls up Gray for 2. Gray dropkicks Stallion, Adonis dropkicks Gray, sits on his back in the ropes, covers for a 1-count, and beats him up in a corner.

Adonis and Stallion have words, they strike each other, Stallion with a double stomp to the chest, then Nese and Daivari break up the count and beat him down. Daivari slams Gray's face on the announce table and chops him on the chest. They hit Stallion with double back elbows, slam Adonis on the steps, Nese splashes onto Stallion and gets a 2-count, and they deliver a delayed vertical suplex to Stallion. Gray tries to get involved but that only gets him attacked, but he manages to fight back. Gray catches Nese with a jumping enziguiri, hits a back suplex facebuster, and Daivari pulls him off of the cover. Nese drops Gray's neck on the top rope, misses the springboard moonsault as Gray rolls out the ring, and Gray drops Daivari with punches. Nese hits a baseball slide into Gray and slams his head on the announce table with Daivari's assistance.

Nese brings Gray back into the ring, Gray fights back, but Nese hits a running back elbow. Adonis fights with Daivari on the floor but gets wiped out again, and Daivari gets back in to help Nese dominate the ring. Nese body slams Gray then puts him in a chinlock, Adonis throws Daivari out the ring, then puts Nese in the sleeper hold. Nese counters, Adonis lowers the ropes on him, Daivari clotheslines him in the ropes, Stallion hits Daivari with a German suplex, boots him in the face, running hip attack, a hesitation dropkick followed by a DDT, makes the cover, and Nese breaks the count. Stallion counters the Sunset Driver with an air raid neckbreaker and gets a near-fall. Gray clubs Stallion on the back, swings him in the ropes, hits a spinning double underhook DDT, and Adonis breaks the count. Adonis hits a sidewalk slam, covers, Daivari breaks the count, plants him with a falling Urinage, covers, and Gray breaks the count this time. Daivari throws Gray into the steps, back into the ring, hits the Persian Splash, covers for 2, Stallion flies onto the mat clipping Daivari, covers for 2, Nese hits the 450 Splash onto Stallion, and gets the 1-2-KICKOUT!

Nese sets up for the finish, Gray superkicks him, falls onto the cover, and THE BOLLYWOOD BOYZ interfere attacking Gray! Adonis and Gray fight them off and throw them out of the ring, and then EVER-RISE jump in for the attack! Unfortunately, all this outside interference is legal in a fatal 5-way match since there are no DQs. Nigel McGuinness mentioned that Bollywood Boyz and Ever-Rise were back-up plans for Nese and Daivari, and it's paying off right now. Stallion, Gray and Adonis kick them out the ring, Gray hits a suicide dive to the Bollywood Boyz, while Stallion takes out Ever-Rise.

Daivari wraps his gold chain around his fist, Adonis kicks Nese out the ring, Daivari punches Adonis with his loaded fist, covers, and Gray stops the count! Gray ducks a superkick, kicks him in the midsection, slams him down, covers, and Nese breaks it up. Gray counters the Sunset Driver, Nese hits a roundhouse kick, rolling palm strike to Stallion perched on the top, Stallion blocks a superplex sliding under him, headbutts him, goes up top, and hits a REVERSE SPANISH FLY FROM THE TOP ROPE FOR 1-2-3!! WINNER: CURT STALLION!

This new recruit to the Performance Center, a newcomer in 205 Live, on the 205th episode, just pinned a former champion to be the next #1 contender for the NXT Cruiserweight Title! That's all for 205 Live!
