Thurs. #1 is HERE. To help out subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Thursday's latest wrestling news.

Brodie LeeLast night's Dynamite celebrating the life of Jon Huber/Brodie Lee featured the Tom Waits song "Ol' 55." For more on that song's usage here's what AEW President Tony Khan had to say: "Thank you everyone who joined us tonight on #AEWDynamite to celebrate the life of Jon Huber, known to fans as Mr. Brodie Lee. It was a great honor to host his family Amanda, Brodie & Nolan. I bought the rights to Ol' 55 by Tom Waits in perpetuity so that tribute will last forever."

Speaking of Mr. Brodie Lee, Pro Wrestling Tees instantly had their best selling shirt of 2020 when their tee for him with the proceeds going to his family went on sale.

After declaring Brodie Jr. the "TNT Champion for Life" on last night's show, the current title being held by Darby Allin is being retired so that he can keep it, and a new design for the belt will be made for Darby and all future champions of the belt. (AEW)

The crowd at Daily's Place in Jacksonville last night was their biggest attendance of the entire pandemic in 2020. (WO)

New WWE related videos including their tribute to Jon Huber (a/k/a Luke Harper) are available below.

The updated card for New Years' Evil next week on NXT is below. (WWE)

* NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor vs. Kyle O'Reilly
* NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: Santos Escobar vs. Gran Metalik
* Last Woman Standing Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez
* Fight Pit Match: Timothy Thatcher vs. Tommaso Ciampa
* Karrion Kross vs. Damian Priest

In this interview Ric Flair declared Shawn Michaels the greatest worker of all time: "It's not arguable anymore, Shawn is the greatest worker in the history of our business. I think everybody would give that to him. He carried me in my farewell retirement match, no matter how many people want to think I was holding up my end of it, I was trying to get through it. At that point in my career I did not have the self-confidence that I needed to have to rise to the occasion and he made it look like I did. I've looked back and actually had time the past couple of years to watch some of Shawn's matches that he had while I was at WCW and Shawn just is a class act. For my money, in the ring, I'd put him and Ricky Steamboat in a class by themselves. I always liked being around Shawn. As far as a guy in the ring I don't think I've ever seen anybody better."

Here Teddy Long talks about the passing of Brodie Lee: "I got a chance to meet him right before I left WWE but never had a good relationship where we always sit down and talk, but the time that I did have to spend with him, he was such a super nice guy. What a nice guy. The thing is, it ain't just about Brodie Lee. It's about any Superstar, anybody that loses their life. We go back to Shad Gaspard. He was another guy that it unfortunate to lose his life. Anybody that has been a part of professional wrestling, any part of our sport that loses his life like that, it's a real tragic accident and my prayers and my family, everybody, we're praying for his family. Unfortunate something like this has to happen, but this is in God's hands. So there's nothing we can do about it. All we can say is, just continue to pray for his family and hope that God continues to bless them. I only met him in passing once backstage at WWE, really nice guy, really friendly, said hi to everybody, which is more than you would expect from some of the guys when they have such a little time. Just a great guy and everything I hear from everybody in the industry is he was just amazing, and it's really a tragic loss for the industry."

Ben Carter will make his NXT UK debut on January 7th.

In this interview Will Ospreay compares himself to Chris Jericho: "I liken myself to Chris Jericho. When Chris Jericho came into NJPW, he went straight for the biggest names at that time- Omega, Naito, Okada, Tanahashi. He targeted those names and got rewarded for it with those big matches. He didn't wait in line, he did things his own way, and now I'm going to do things my own way. A lot of people see things that way too. You've seen a few already, but there's more. Trust me."
