Match 1

Nikki Storm vs Heidi Lovelace

Storm and Lovelace lock up and Storm forces Lovelace in the corner but breaks clean. Storm goes for a shot and ducks; Lovelace gets a victory roll early for a near fall. Lovelace goes for an Irish whip but Storm counters, but Lovelace catches her with a with an arm drag and Storm rolls to the floor. Storm goes for a slingshot sunset flip but Lovelace rolls through and gets a nice roll up variation for a near fall. Lovelace goes for a crossbody but Storm ducks and Lovelace crashes and burns. Storm lands a series of shots and rakes the back of Lovelace. Storm forces Lovelace in to the corner and lands a series of shots and works over Lovelace. Storm goes for a superplex but Lovelace shoves her off. Lovelace lands a series of clotheslines and works her over. Lovelace climbs the ropes and lands a big splash from the top rope for a near fall. Lovelace climbs the ropes but misses and Storm lands the PERFECT STORM for the win.

Match 2

Melanie Cruise vs Mia Yim

Yim avoids locking up with Cruise as we start things, Yim goes for a waistlock but gets countered and thrown to the mat by Cruise. Cruise goes after Yim but Yim kicks the legs out from underneath and locks in the Muta Lock but Cruise gets to the ropes. Yim goes after the arm and locks in an arm lock but Cruise counters with a big powerbomb. Cruise lands a series of shots and sends her in to the corner and chokes her. Yim comes back and locks in a tarantula and brings it back in to the ring and lands a Yoshi Tonic for a near fall. Yim climbs the ropes but Cruise catches her with a big bodyslam. Cruise picks up Yim and lands a series of shots and chokes her between the ropes and works her over. Cruise goes for a tombstone piledriver, but Yim counters and lands a big satellite headscissors on Cruise Yim lands a series of dropkicks and climbs the ropes and lands a missile dropkick for a near fall. Yim goes for a piledriver but Cruise counters with a big back body drop. Cruise goes for a chokeslam but Yim escapes and lands a series of kicks and lands a big springboard Tornado DDT off the middle rope. Yim climbs the ropes and lands the 450 splash and scores the win.

Winner Mia Yim

We go backstage to Amber Gertner who is with Thunderkitty. Thunderkitty says that she isn’t afraid of Saraya Knight, Thunderkitty says that Saraya has wrestled men, women, and grizzly bears. Thunderkitty says that Saraya may have been able to tame grizzly bears but she will never tame Thunderkitty.

Match 4

The Kimber Bombs-Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb vs Crazy Mary Dobson and Mary Lee Rose

Cherry and MLR lock up, Cherry gets a side headlock takeover and MLR counters with a headscissors, and gets a side headlock takeover of her own. MLR wrenches the arm and lands a series of shots and a nice shining wizard early, and Cherry tags out. Kimber charges but gets caught with a drop toehold and MLR tags out. Dobson lands a series of shots and a big leaping strike in the corner. Dobson goes for an Irish whip but gets countered and goes over the top rope, Dobson catches Kimber with a knee but Kimber catches her with a clothesline on the apron. Kimber and Cherry work over Dobson for a bit but she makes a tag out. MLR comes back in and cleans house and lands a senton across the back of Cherry. Dobson climbs the ropes but misses a moonsault. Kimber and Cherry land a codebreaker/German Suplex combination for the win.

We go backstage to Amber Gertner who is with Lufisto. Lufisto says that in life things happen that change your life. Lufisto says that Allison Danger’s stoke changed Danger’s life and talks about what Cheerleader Melissa has done to Leva Bates and Hiroyo Matsumoto in past volumes. Lufisto says that tonight she is going to take the most important thing in Cheerleader Mellissa’s life the Shimmer Title. Lufisto calls herself the werewolf of professional wrestling, and your next Shimmer Champion.

Match 4

Saraya Knight vs Thunderkitty

Knight and Thunderkitty lock up, and Knight forces her in to the ropes and breaks clean. Knight forces Thunderkitty in to the corner and hair drags her out. Knight hooks the arm and forces her down and works the arm. Thunderkitty gets to her feet and lands a series of shots and wrenches the arm but Saraya escapes. Thunderkitty goes after the arm and bars the arm and works the arm. Thunderkitty sends Saraya in to the corner and lands a big monkey flip out of the corner and locks in a chinlock but Saraya escapes and goes after the arm and works over Thunderkitty. Saraya and Thunderkitty trade shots but Saraya lands a low blow and locks in the rocking horse submission and scores the win.

Winner Saraya Knight

Saraya Knight gets the microphone, Saraya says that twice a year she comes to this hellhole and is so happy to leave and go back to England with hot and cold water. Saraya says she doesn’t like disrespect and Christina Von Eerie disrespect and the previous day Christina Von Eerie disrespected her and CVE appears in the aisleway. Saraya tells the Berwyn crowd to shut up. Saraya cuts a promo about CVE disrespecting her, Saraya challenges CVE to a Three Stages of Hell match THE BRITISH WAY. Saraya says the 1st stage will be pinfall, 2nd fall will be Submission and if they make it to the third stage it will be Hardcore, and she will smash the hell out of her. CVE walks to ringside and starts to accept the challenge but Saraya tells her to say in to the microphone so she can’t back out. CVE accepts the challenge and Saraya vs CVE 3 Stages of Hell will now take place on Shimmer Volume 61.

Match 5

Kana vs Allison Kay

Kana wastes no time and goes for the cross armbreaker but Kay gets to the ropes and bails out to the floor. Kana and Kay trade hammerlocks, Kay snaps Kana over and goes for a chin lock but Kana escapes with a hammerlock. Kana forces Kay in to the corner and lands a series of kicks and strikes and works over Kay. Kana goes for another submission but again Kay gets to the ropes. Kay comes back and locks in a submission hold but Kana gets to the ropes. Kay whips Kana in to the corner and lands a big splash in the corner and works over Kana for a little bit. Kana and Kay trade shots and Kana lands a series of kicks and Kana lands a big sliding kick to the face for a near fall. Kay comes back and lands a big Samoan Drop for a near fall. Kana lands a Tajiri with a kick to the head for another near fall. Kay goes for a shot but Kana ducks and locks in the Kana lock for the win.

Match 6

Portia Perez vs Hiroyo Matsumoto

Hiroyo starts the match by putting on a Godzilla mask and Godzilla glove and scares Portia. Hiroyo and Portia lock up, and Hiroyo overpowers Portia to begin things, referee PJ Drummond finally steps in and tells Hiroyo that she can’t wear the mask. Hiroyo and Portia lock up again and this time Hiroyo gets a takedown on Portia and the two trade moves. Hiroyo gets her Godzilla paw and scares Portia who threatens to leave but does come back for a little bit. Hiroyo dominates the early going of the match but Portia comes back and sends Portia to the floor. Portia lures Hiroyo to the floor and then catches her as she comes back in to the ring and lands a series of shots.

Portia lands a series of shots and works over Hiroyo. Hiroyo whips Portia in to the corner, Portia tries to get the boot up but Hiroyo ties her up in between the top and middle rope and lands a big splash in the corner. Hiroyo whips Portia in to the ropes and lands a big sidewalk slam for a near fall. Hiroyo goes for a Torture rack but Portia escapes and gets a quick roll up for a near fall. Hiroyo goes a BACKDROP DRIVER but Portia winds up on top for a near fall. Portia rakes the eyes of Hiroyo, and tries to expose one of the ring posts but referee PJ Drummond catches her but is distracted by trying to reconfigure that ring post, Portia puts the Godzilla mask over the face Hiroyo and sends her in to another ring post that had been exposed and scores the cheap fall.

Match 7

Mercedes Martinez vs Santana Garrett

Mercedes and Garrett lock up, Garrett gets the arm wrench and Mercedes gets the single leg takedown and the two trade moves, with Mercedes getting the crossface but Garrett escapes. Mercedes bullies Garrett early on, but Garrett comes back with a nice Lucha Arm Drag off the ropes. Garrett goes for a wheelbarrow but Martinez turns it in to a suplex. Mercedes sends Garrett in to the corner and lands a series of shots and kicks in the corner. Mercedes works over Garrett and bullies her for several minutes. Mercedes hooks Garrett and lands a big delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Mercedes and Garrett trade shots but Garrett lands a big headscissors on Mercedes. Garrett lands a series of shots and moves and works over Mercedes. Mercedes goes for the fisherman’s buster but Garrett counters with a small package for a near fall. Garrett lands a big kick to the head, but misses the Shining Star Press on Mercedes. Mercedes hooks Garrett and lands the fisherman’s buster for the win.

Winner Mercedes Martinez.  

Match 8

For the Shimmer Tag Team Championship

Kellie Skater and Tomoka Nakagawa vs Sassy Stephie and Nevaeh

Skater and Nevaeh lock up to start things, Nevaeh goes for the waistlock, but Skater counters and gets a drop toehold in to a chinlock. Skater and Nevaeh trade holds in the early going and both women tag out. Nakagawa waistlocks Stephie but gets forced in to the corner. Stephie goes for an Irish whip but gets reversed and Nakagawa lands a splash in the corner, followed by a dropkick. 3G double team but Stephie gets her knees up to stop a wheelbarrow splash and Nevaeh takes out Skater with a clothesline. Nevaeh lands a series of shots and brings Nakagawa to the corner and makes the tag out. Heels work over Nakagawa for a bitt, Nakagawa comes back and lands a big forearm but Rochelle gets involved from the floor tripping up Nakagawa. More heel work from Stephie and Nevaeh. Nakagawa comes back and this time goes for a tag but Rochelle pulls Skater off the apron. Nevaeh goes for a suplex but Nakagawa escapes and catches her coming off the ropes with a big kick to the face and makes the tag out.

Skater comes in and lands a series of clotheslines and cleans house of Stephie and Nevaeh. 3G land a wheelbarrow/enzuigiri combination on Stephie for a near fall before Skater gets shipped to the floor. Nevaeh picks up Skater and face plants her followed by a sliding clothesline to the back of Skater from Stephie for a near fall. Stephie and Nevaeh go for a double spinebuster but Nakagawa saves Skater. 3G go for the HANGOVER but Rochelle tries to distract and he we get a heel miscommunication getting rid of Stephie and Rochelle, 3G take the opportunity to finish off Nevaeh with the HANGOVER for the win.

Winners Team 3G-Kellie Skater and Tomoka Nakagawa. An alright match between these two teams. Heel control segment seemed a bit slow at times. Skater and Nakagawa make a comeback and are able to overcome Stephie and Nevaeh and retain their titles.

Match 9

Jessica Havok vs Madison Eagles

Havok and Eagles lock up, Havok forces Eagles in to the corner and breaks clean. Eagles tries to a fork but the referee catches her and takes the fork, and Eagles pokes Eagles in the eye. Havok lands a series of forearms and whips Eagles in to the ropes but Eagles counters and gets a quick near fall. Havok and Eagles trade moves on the mat early on in the match. Havok and Eagles go to the apron and trade shots and on the apron. Havok goes for a suplex on the apron but Eagles blocks and they both land double boots and land on the floor. Havok sends Eagles in to the barricade and lands chops, and then Eagles sends Havok in to the apron and lands a series of chops and they both roll back in to the ring.

Eagles lands a series of kicks on Havok and locks in a chinlock. Havok comes back and lands a series of running boots in the corner followed by a series of shots. Havok goes for a Samoan Drop but Eagles escapes and scores a quick near fall. Havok and Eagles both land kicks and both fall to the mat. Eagles comes back and lands a series of kicks to the chest for a near fall. Eagles goes for a big backslide but Havok counters and comes back and lands a big knee followed by a big running boot to the face. Havok goes for a Samoan Drop but Eagles escapes and forces her in to the corner. Eagles climbs the ropes but Havok counters and lands a series of shots. Havok gets her balance but Eagles counters and gets Havok across the shoulders for HELLBOUND for the win.

Winner Madison Eagles. Good little match between these two some good physical spots between these two. Eagles scores a huge win as we continue through the volume.

Match 10

Kendo Stick Match

Hikaru Shida vs Nicole Matthews

Both women attempt to get the kendo stick early but the other stops the other from getting it. Shida and Matthews trade near falls early on. Shida gets the edge and lands a series of shots on Matthews. Shida twists the hair of Matthews and lands a big toss out of the corner. Shida hooks Matthews and locks in a Boston Crab and goes for a submission but Matthews escapes. Shida goes for the kendo stick but Matthews stops him and lands a series of shots and works over Shida and locks in a chinlock. Shida comes back and lands a series of shots but misses a charge in the corner and lands a dropkick in the corner. Shida and Matthews brawl on the floor with Matthews landing a series of chops, but Shida lands a backbreaker on the floor and is able to retrieve the kendo stick.

Shida lands a series of shots to the kendo stick. Matthews gets a chair to try to block it but Shida is able to knock it out of the hands of Matthews with the stick. Shida lands a series of shots but Matthews comes back and lands a series of shots. Matthews chokes Shida with the stick and then lands a Russian Legsweep the with kendo stick for a near fall. Matthews hooks the legs of Shida and locks in a Muta lock using the kendo stick across the chin of Shida but Shida escapes. Shida comes back and lands a series of shots and goes for a knee strike but Matthews ducks and Shida catches her with one to the back of the head. Matthews comes back and lands a brainbuster on the kendo stick for a near fall. Shida comes back and levels Matthews with a kendo stick shot to the head, followed by a running knee strike for the win.

Winner Hikaru Shida. Good little match between these two a little slow in the beginning. Shida gets revenge for Matthews using the stick on her the previous volume, and walks out victorious and Its MAIN EVENT TIME.

Main Event

For the Shimmer Title

Lufisto vs Cheerleader Melissa

Lufisto goes right after Melissa with a series of forearms forcing Melissa in to the corner and lands a series of shots. Lufisto sends Melissa in to the corner and gets dumped to the apron. Lufisto climbs the ropes but misses a big missile dropkick but avoids a big elbow smash but rolls to the floor. Lufisto hooks the legs and swings Melissa in to the barricade. Lufisto and Melissa brawl on the floor and on commentary Portia Perez hints at an alliance between Melissa and Mercedes Martinez. Lufisto sends Melissa in to the barricade but misses a charge in to the corner and Melissa lands a series of shots. Melissa works over Lufisto and sends her in to steps and rolls her back in to the ring. Melissa works over Lufisto and stretches Lufisto. Melissa works over Lufisto and chokes her in the corner and on the ropes. Melissa misses a big charge in the corner and Lufisto lands a big forearm in the corner, followed by a cannonball in the corner and Melissa rolls out.

Lufisto lands a big cannonball off the apron on Melissa, then Lufisto rolls Melissa comes back in to the ring and scores a series of near falls and locks in a submission on the mat. Lufisto and Melissa trade shots and take each other out with forearms. Lufisto and Melissa trade forearms and boots on the mat and both remain down on the mat. Lufisto climbs the ropes but Melissa catches her and gets Lufisto on the shoulders but Lufisto counters with a reverse frankensteiner on Melissa. Lufisto goes for the BURNING HAMMER but Melissa counters and goes for the AIR RAID CRASH but Lufisto counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Lufisto locks in a crossface but Melissa gets to the ropes and is busted open over her eye. Lufisto goes for the BURNING HAMMER, but Melissa counters and lands the AIR RAID CRASH for the win.

Winner and Still Shimmer Champion Cheerleader Melissa. Great main event to close out this volume. Basically a big brawl of a match and Melissa shockingly wins clean and keeps her title.

After the match. Lufisto continues to go after Melissa which brings out security, as well as Kana and Mercedes Martinez to come out to break up the brawl. We end the volume with Melissa threatening to kill Lufisto.

Solid volume here you get a solid Cruise/Yim match in the beginning. Also set up is the continuation of Saraya/Von Eerie and Portia/Matsumoto for the next volume. A solid match between Havok/Matthews as well. Along with a great brawl between Shida/Matthews, Also an even hotter brawl in the main event with Lufisto/Melissa to continue their feud, and set up Lufisto/Mercedes for Volume 61. All and all a big thumbs up for this volume if you can find it.
