Here Konnor talks about The Ascension's last run on WWE television: "You could tell we were having fun. It was refreshing. When you build a relationship with people you specifically love to work with, it makes it that much better. Johnny Curtis, Tyler Breeze, and us, we all grew up together in the developmental system. Me and Mike Knox actually took Fandango off the streets and into our house. We were always big supporters of him. You build this camaraderie, and when you get the opportunity to work together, it makes things so much better."

The GCW Fight Forever stream we shared last night was hit with a takedown by WMG (Warner Media Group), but the promotion has started a brand new stream you can watch below.

Since they just played a song from Boogie Down Productions ("Sound Of Da Police") I can't guarantee it won't wind up being taken down again. Anyway a new press release from MLW is below.

Major League Wrestling today announced a World Tag Team Championship Match: Los Parks (c) vs. TJP & Bu Ku Dao for this Wednesday, February 3 at 7pm ET on MLW's flagship weekly series, FUSION, available on YouTube, Fubo Sports, DAZN, beIN SPORTS and the Roku Channel.

Los Parks have set their first World Tag Team Championship defense in what promises to be a high-flying nonstop title fight.

With TJP and his protege Bu Ku Dao defeating Violence is Forever in an eliminator match to determine the next challengers for the title, the duo now look to dethrone the newly minted tag team champions in Los Parks.

TJP, who first competed in MLW in 2004, will fight for his first championship in MLW. This also marks newcomer Bu Ku Dao's first challenge for gold in the league.

Former World Tag Team Champions Ross and Marshall Von Erich have deferred their contractual right to a rematch until a later date, citing their on-going conflict with Tom Lawlor and Team Filthy.

Los Parks have promised a “celebration of blood and brutality” for their new jefe, the mysterious owner and proprietor of Promociones Dorado, which is now a subsidiary of Azteca Underground LLC.

Will TJP and Bu Ku Dao shock the world and deliver Los Parks the distinction of the shortest reign in division history?

Will the third member of Los Parks play a role in the championship bout?

Find out this Wednesday on MLW FUSION at 7pm ET on YouTube.

The overnight numbers from ShowBuzzDaily.com are in, and SmackDown did 2.228 million viewers with a 0.60 18-49 demo. The overnights last week were slightly higher at 2.282 million with the same 18-49 demo.

5:00 PM ET. Mia Yim announced via social media that she has a positive COVID-19 test result and will not be able to compete in the women's Royal Rumble tomorrow as a result. (WWE) Our best wishes to her on a full recovery.

Here Kurt Angle talks about nearly missing WrestleMania 19: "I told Vince, I'm going to have to have surgery and I'm going to have to skip WrestleMania. He said, you know, I'll call you back. I have an idea, let me talk to the writers, I'll call you back. So he decided that we were going to have a match before WrestleMania on SmackDown and I was going to drop the title to Brock and I believe Brock was going to go to WrestleMania and face a new opponent for the main event. So, I think they were going to substitute Chris Benoit, I believe. So he was basically going to take my place and you know it bothered me. I told Vince Let's have the match, and he said, you need to get it approved by your doctor, and I'm sorry Kurt, but we have a match that's advertised on TV the past week, and it's a SmackDown before WrestleMania, and you're wrestling Brock, and Brock's beating you for the title. I said, well we're going to have to change that, Vince. He said, well, you're going to have to have the match. I said, well, what can we do so I can retain the title and move on to WrestleMania without affecting the SmackDown match? He said, let me call you back. He always says that when he's trying to come up with ideas. So I waited a couple hours, he called me back, he goes, we have an idea. We're going to use your brother Eric. He looks just like you, we're going to dress him up just like you. Put the hood on his head, the Team Angle hood, and we're going to pull a switcheroo on Brock on SmackDown the week before WrestleMania."

WWE has promoted referee Darryl Sharma to "senior official," whatever that means for the company internally. (wInc)

According to ODB http://fightful.com/wrestling/odb-shares-triple-h-told-her-accept-tna-s-job-offer-2007-wwe-was-not-interested she tried to go to WWE in 2007, but Triple H told her to accept TNA's offer because WWE wasn't interested. I don't know whether that was helpful or rude on his part, but I do think WWE missed out big time.

Some of the Performance Center extras have been told they may be needed for the Royal Rumble tomorrow, possibly for Bad Bunny's performance of his single "Booker T." (PWI)

To make a long story short http://bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-29/wwe-streaming-shake-up-highlights-challenges-for-niche-services Nick Khan believes Peacock is good for WWE.

Last but not least http://wrestlinginc.com/news/2021/01/gcw-owner-discusses-extensive-covid-19-protocols-ahead-of-24-hour-fight-forever-event/ here's an interview with GCW's Brett Lauderdale.
