Big CassThe former Big Cass (now known as W. Morrissey) has signed a contract with Impact Wrestling and will be there "for the foreseeable future." (FF)

Road Dogg (Brian James) was back at his usual position at NXT this week. (PWI)

Adam Pearce has received a promotion within WWE to Director of Live Events. (PWI)

New All Elite Wrestling videos are available below.

In addition new WWE related clips are available below.

Here's a note from Comcast's first quarter earnings report: "Peacock Has 42 Million Sign-Ups to Date Across the U.S., Benefiting from the Recent Addition of Exclusive Domestic Streaming Rights to WWE Network and The Office." (PWI)

In this update MVP talks about trying to avoid getting surgery: "As many of you know, my knee has been bothering me for some time now. I injured it a few months ago in the ring and while it's better, it hasn't healed yet. We've been trying to avoid surgery. We're gonna try one more procedure and if it still doesn't work, then I might have to get some minor arthroscopic surgery for the knee. But, not yet. We're still gonna try another treatment first."

DDT Pro's Donosuke Takashita talks about his recent stint in the U.S. for AEW: "Well, AEW as an organization really has a deep talent roster. Of course, among the top talent are Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, Christian, also Matt Hardy. There's a large number of top talent. Wrestlers who have yet to achieve anything in their careers are on a show called AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation. There really are a lot of matches on it. Dark alone had 15 matches. I felt it was more like survival. I was among them too. Without having any kind of prior track record or experience till now. To wrestle in that situation with nobody knowing who I was - except Kenny and Nakazawa, nobody knew who I was - to wrestle in that kind of a situation, I was able to challenge myself. To be appreciated at that time was what gave me the most confidence. That kind of environment is what I think was different. But I really drew motivation from it. I felt the hunger to perform the most."

Here Arash Markazi claims his interview with Adam Cole was unscripted: "The plan is for me to be who I am, they're not going to give me a new name or anything. They wanted me to talk to Adam just like he's about to go into a game. The instruction I got, there was no script, the instruction was, 'How would you talk to him if he was a player like LeBron James going into a game?' I respect the fact that they want to go back to that authenticity. These guys have amazing stories. I thought it was fun. I was wondering if he was really upset."

Here's an interesting turn of events -- BT Sport, WWE's broadcast home in the United Kingdom, is currently up for sale. Amazon, Disney and DAZN are all interested. Coincidentally Sam Gradwell talks about getting his NXT UK contract from William Regal: "It was a dream come true, anyone that gets that call and tells you differently has a problem with telling the truth. It's hard to explain. Someone like William Regal, knowing he's gone to bat for you - motivates you beyond what you thought you're capable of. To get that call, it felt like it was the beginning. A culmination of a dream come true, the end of one part of my career and the beginning of another."

More from NXT UK as Primate talks about being coached by Triple H and Shawn Michaels: "It's been incredible. Obviously when you first arrive at NXT UK and you realize your boss is Triple H and Shawn Michaels, it's like oh! I simply can't mess up now as I've grown up as a child watching these men on TV and you idolized these guys. Even though they are thousands of miles away right now, they're on calls discussing things and making sure the things that we're doing on the brand is keeping us heading in the right direction for what their view is."

Chelsea Green talks about being called then UN-called up to the WWE main roster in December 2019: "I originally got called up in December 2019. But, it was kind of a weird call up. It was a miscommunication, maybe, between NXT and the main roster. I was called up, but I wasn't, but I was, but I wasn't. Then I was on TV at NXT, which I was so happy about. Obviously I want to be called up, but nobody had made it official. So, to be called to TV was awesome. Then Triple H pulled me aside in May of 2020, right before the pandemic, or right around that time, because we had just done a tag match. Charlotte and I against Rhea and Io and that was the day I got officially called up."

Back to NXT UK again! Here's what's booked for next week's show. (WWE)

* Loser Leaves Town No DQ Match: Kenny Williams vs. Amir Jordan
* Noam Dar Supernova Sessions with guest Nathan Frazer
* Ilja Dragunov vs. Dave Mastiff

The AEW Dynamite rating took a hit going head-to-head with President Joe Biden's national address -- the show did 888,000 viewers (down from 1.1 million) with a 0.33 18-49 demo (down from 0.37). Not bad considering. (SBD)

Former WWN champion JD Drake talks about his AEW debut on Dark: "I'm actually in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina playing in a slow-pitch softball tournament. I was actually in bed that night. It was about 1:30 in the morning. I wake up, check my phone and I have a text. 'Hey, are you available to do AEW?' I was like, 'Yes, absolutely I am.' I had sent an email in November, maybe October, just sending my resume in, and I got a text message because I left my telephone number and email asking me if I was available. I told them, 'Yes.' They said, 'Good, we'll see you next Wednesday,' and they sent me all the information. I got down there, and when I walk in, they give me my itinerary for everything I'm going to be doing. I see my name next to Eddie Kingston on Dark. I'm like, 'Alright, this will be fun.' This is not the first time we've done this dance. Me and Eddie have wrestled about eight times already, and we beat the bleep out of each other every time. Then the next night, I had Stu Grayson. I had no clue what was going on when I walked in down there. I get Eddie Kingston and Stu Grayson in my first two matches in AEW. You want to talk about excited? I was thoroughly excited, and I must have impressed because I've been back ever since. They keep bringing me down. That's all I know. I'm not kayfabing anybody. I don't know anything. I know that I'm going down. I'm impressing. I'm doing my job. I'm hanging out with my boys Peter Avalon, and Ryan Nemeth and Cezar Bononi, who I became friends with on my first trip to the PC back in February (2020). So how wild that me and him are hanging out a lot when I go down there. Tony's had nothing but positive things to say to me and about me when I've been down there."

Now that he's weaseled his way into the spotlight again by claiming he has a match with Andrade, Alberto El Patron just won't shut up and now claims that Paige broke a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with him and that he can collect on it if she doesn't keep her mouth shut.
