Sun. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. Don't miss all of today's updates! With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Monday's latest wrestling news.

Will OspreaySpeaking to New Japan's website, Will Ospreay talks about the pressure of being IWGP World Heavyweight Champion: "It's made me more ... obsessed, maybe? I've wanted this for longer than I remember. Maybe some people might not agree that I should be in this position, but it's the culmination of the journey I've taken. Ibushi's right, it is heavy. Now I'm looked upon as a history maker in the new age. I'm the first British holder of an IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and the first non-Japanese to ever hold the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. So I'm responsible for setting a standard and ushering in this new era. I'm ready for that responsibility. I'm not willing to accept defeat. It sounds like a cliche at this point, but I've said it again and again. I am on another level. I am fully comfortable in my in-ring style. I'm dying to show people how ready I am to take on the world as the champion."

It seems that Drake Wuertz f/k/a Drake Younger is unhappy with his right wing, QAnon, anti-mask view being questioned and fired back on social media: "My wife said some folks are apparently writing about our 'Radical Views'. *Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery and we seek to eradicate it *Abortion is Murder and needs to be Abolished *Children in my community that are being forced by local government to wear masks for 8 hours a day against their parents wishes is abuse. We have a God-ordained duty to speak up for the 'least of these' and petition our magistrates to prevent harm upon children. If this is 'Radical' then label me an extremist for Christ. We're not called to fit in with the world. We're called to serve God! 'We ought to obey God rather than men.' Acts 5:29"

At the same time the former Sexy Star (Dulce Garcia) was losing a match in Combate Americas, a new Sexy Star was debuting in AAA portrayed by Hija de Gatubela. That's definitely not a coincidence.

New WWE related clips are available below.

A new Griff Garrison (Varsity Blondes in AEW) interview is below.

In this interview Tamina Snuka declares herself the Roman Reigns of the women's division in WWE: "If you wanna go for the Polynesian side of it, I have to say that I am the 'Roman Reigns' because it's not Nia for sure, definitely not Nia. If you wanna talk outside of the Polynesian culture, the 'Roman Reigns' of the women's locker room both Raw and SmackDown, maybe Charlotte. I would say probably Charlotte at this point. She came back and she definitely got something on her head. She is coming back for something and definitely wants to prove who she is. She came out and put everybody on the spot and she addressed all the locker room, so I would have to say maybe Charlotte right now."

From MLW: "Major League Wrestling today confirmed the league will provide an update on CONTRA's alleged control of championship bouts for Jacob Fatu this Wednesday, May 5 at 7pm ET on MLW's flagship weekly series FUSION, available on YouTube, Fubo Sports, DAZN, beIN SPORTS and the Roku Channel."

Mariah May talks about her 2019 WWE tryout: "With WWE, I actually modeled their shirts. I was the first one to do it. They sent me their merch to model, so I think WWE knew who I was when I was like 18. So, when I started training and stuff, I know they were watching me, and I just worked really, really hard, and I just - I sacrificed everything just to really put the time into wrestling. That pays off. And then, obviously I was lucky enough to get a tryout, which was just the most amazing experience ever. I am so grateful and blessed to have had that. It's just all about working hard and putting yourself out there. I think that last part is really, really important."

Nick Aldis talks about Trevor Murdoch's success in NWA: "One of the things that's almost really become a calling card of the brand is we've taken the guys that didn't get the chance to really showcase themselves to their fullest potential. Because of the somewhat cold-hearted nature of wrestling, sometimes, it can be kind of like you're written off. That's it. If you don't happen to have the right connections, or you don't happen to appeal to the right type of fans, it's like your skillset can be greatly underutilized. That was Trevor Murdoch. I've known Trevor since I went to Harley's camp in 2007, and at the time, he was on the road with WWE at that time. In my mind, I was like, 'wow, it's so cool that this guy's a WWE star, and he's taking his two days at home off the road to come and help us. That's so cool.' To get it to come sort of full circle - we didn't give him anything. He took it. All we did was say, 'I think you might be a good fit. It was literally just one of the 'hey, what about Trevor Murdoch?' And Billy went, 'oh, yeah, that's a good shout! Let's try him!' He walked out on that first episode of Powerrr, or I think it was the first episode, and you could just feel the people in the building go 'oh, yeah,' because now the shoe fits … Finally, Cinderella found the right slipper. You know what I mean? It's like they go 'oh, man, we kind of forgot about this guy, but yes! He's great. He's believable. He's a good worker, and he fits so well in this. It was this sort of double whammy, right, this one-two punch where people went 'oh, yeah, this guy's legit.' And then, they also went, 'oh, I'm starting to get a feeling of what this show is going to be about, and what this brand is going to be about.' So it was this kind of one-two punch. As much as I represent the NWA in many different ways - a lot of people have been very kind and made some very lofty comparisons, and I won't share those. But, I try to honor the sort of standard set by guys like Ric Flair and Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race. As much as I sort of appeal with that particular taste, Trevor appeals on the type of tastes of people who like Dick the Bruiser, or Dusty Rhodes. That's really what we're about. We just want really good pro wrestlers here. Good, solid, believable pro wrestlers, and Trevor, he's upper echelon now and I'm sure he's going to prove it as we move forward."

Speaking of Ring of Honor, Maria Kanellis talks about when live fans might return: "We have tentative dates. We definitely do, and I don't want to put those dates out there right now, but I would have to say that by the end of the year, you're going to start seeing some fans back at the shows. That is very important because that's Ring of Honor. Our fans are the most loyal in the world, the wildest and the most amazing. They come up with the most unique chants. They are a part of Ring of Honor, so we want to give back to our fans but, we have to get cleared to do so."
