Daniel BryanThe WWE contract of Bryan Danielson, better known in the WWE Universe as Daniel Bryan, reportedly expired on the day of his match with Roman Reigns on SmackDown where he would be "banished" from the show if he lost. (FF) Dave Meltzer has confirmed that he's currently a free agent but that WWE is "pushing hard" to get Danielson to sign a new deal with the company. (WO) I'm sure they are doing so because they don't want to see him go to All Elite Wrestling, which begs the question of why they didn't give him a renewal with a huge raise before his current term came to an end. Despite all of this WWE has quietly removed him from the internal roster and has "no plans" for him right now. (PWI)

Speaking of AEW the lineup for Dynamite tonight is below. (AEW)

* Blood & Guts: The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle
* AEW Tag Team Title #1 Contender's Match: SCU vs. Varsity Blonds vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jurassic Express
* Kenny Omega & MT Nakazawa vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston
* Cody Rhodes vs. QT Marshall
* Britt Baker in action
* Miro to make a statement
* Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page to make an appearance

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has confirmed that two people on their roster tested positive for COVID-19. (NJPW)

Two NJPW wrestlers have tested positive for COVID-19.

All New Japan Pro-Wrestling talent is subject to daily temperature monitoring, as well as blood oxygen saturation checks and frequent testing. Before the Road to Dontaku tour began, all wrestlers and staff returned negative PCR tests, clearing them for competition.

On the morning of the May 4 Wrestling Dontaku day two event, two wrestlers presented with a high temperature. According to protocol, they were taken for immediate testing, while those that had close contact with the individuals in the last two events were removed from proceedings. NJPW has learned that the individuals' tests were positive for COVID-19.

The two are currently experiencing mild symptoms, and are acting under medical advice for treatment and recovery. Other wrestlers, as well as staff who have been in contact with the individuals are currently being thoroughly monitored in a controlled environment and receiving relevant tests. Updates will be provided in due course.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling apologizes for the inconvenience and concern caused by the sudden card change this news necessitated on the May 4 event.

In addition to the aforementioned regular health monitoring, the requirement of masks during warmups and backstage as well as the provision of packaged food to minimize outside interaction are all enforced at New Japan Pro-Wrestling events. Moving forward, NJPW will work to further improve its COVID-19 countermeasures and do everything possible to ensure staff, wrestler and fan safety.

We once again deeply apologize for the concern caused to fans and personnel and ask for your understanding.

New WWE related clips are available below.

The lineup for Fusion on FITE tonight is below. (MLW)

* MLW Middleweight Championship: Lio Rush (c) vs. Myron Reed
* Richard Holliday vs. Ariel Dominguez
* Laredo Kid vs. Gringo Loco
* "Breaking news" from Alicia Atout

Bill Goldberg has filed for trademarks on two of his tattoos -- a "stylized skull" on his right bicep and a "a series of interlocking curvilinear lines in a horizontal and vertical pattern" on his left shoulder -- the latter probably being the one you know best when you think of Goldberg. (HBN)

In this interview Tony Khan says it would have been impossible to launch AEW during the pandemic: "t's been going great. I mean, most of the Dynamite episodes have happened during the pandemic, but I think that's a function of timing. I'm really glad I got Dynamite started before the pandemic, or it would have been impossible to launch. But also that we launched far enough in front of the pandemic that we were able to get a big-money TV extension before the pandemic struck. All the major media conglomerates took a big hit, so I'm not sure we would've gotten that nine-figure TV contract in the post-pandemic markets. I just think the timing was very good for us." Khan also says the entire second hour of Dynamite tonight has been set aside for Blood & Guts. (wInc)

Titus O'Neil is being inducted into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame. (WWE)

Tracy Williams wants a match with Samoa Joe in Ring of Honor: "Everybody said it when it happened, but the first guy you think of is Samoa Joe. I watched Ring of Honor for a long time. He is the kind of wrestler who got it done in the ring and his actions speak for him. He is a man of strong worth, but he is also in-ring one of the best wrestlers you've ever seen. That's what got him to the top was that presence and legit cred as a wrestler. He is and would be a perfect fit for Ring of Honor. But that's up to the man. Overall it sucks to see that  release happen, especially under these circumstances. We're still in the midst of a pandemic. I think him coming in would be incredible and a test I would love to take on if the opportunity presented itself."

4:00 PM ET. AEW will be holding Double or Nothing on May 30th at full capacity, so as many fans who want to buy tickets up to the maximum seating available at Daily's Place are welcome to attend. (You should probably still consider wearing a mask, but hey, do you.)

Matt Riddle and Randy Orton are not going to be a short time only team. (PWI)

Zicky Dice has filed a trademark on his ring name. (FF)

Chelsea Green wanted to be a "sexy nun" in WWE. Honestly I'm glad that idea got shot down.
