Pat McAfee dressed up as Vince McMahon for retro SmackDown but his skit got cancelled: "On Friday, to commit to a bit of being Vince McMahon on SmackDown Throwback, I was bullied into shaving my face. Michael Cole was one of the leaders of that bullying. I thought it was Be A Star. Michael Cole goes, 'You could commit and shave your face.' Cole had an awesome look as well, which didn't make it to air. He had the frosted tips and he committed to 1999 Michael Cole. We had the wig, which was too small for my head and it felt like my forehead was in a rear-naked choke. We had the suit, the tie, I wore dress shoes for the first time. A lot of people in WWE were like, 'this is awesome. We'll remember this and you doing it for the character and the bit.' I shaved, it looked terrible. I got makeup on, we shot a bunch of shit. I did an entire Vince McMahon thing. Immediately following, literally, as soon as I walked off-screen, Foxy [McAfee Show Video Producer Evan Fox gets a text from someone that works at WWE saying 'hang tight.' I go, 'Oh, Vince is coming?' No, that's not the case. They come out and everything has been canceled. I walk back into the building and everyone who was motivating me to shave my face, they heard about what happened, and were like, 'Sorry, so sorry, it'll grow back.' Four days! Nothing! That beard was older than Jesus fucking Christ! I look like I'm twelve."

WWE has confirmed that Takeover is returning on June 13th. (WWE)

NXT TakeOver: In Your House set to take place Sunday, June 13

The Superstars of NXT are set to TakeOver your house!

As first reported on Barstool Sports' Rasslin podcast in Brandon Walker's interview with Johnny Gargano, the black-and-gold brand will present NXT TakeOver: In Your House on Sunday, June 13, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and on WWE Network elsewhere.

Former WWE announcer Todd Pettengill, who is synonymous with the iconic In Your House brand, will return to host the festivities.

NXT brought back the landmark event last June for the first time in more than 21 years, featuring the destructive TakeOver debut of current NXT Champion Karrion Kross and an unforgettable NXT Women's Championship Triple Threat Match between Io Shirai, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley.

What will Kross and company have in store for the NXT Universe when the black-and-gold brand once again takes over?{endqupte}Ricky Starks is out of action for AEW due to a "slightly" fractured neck.

A preview for this week's New Japan on Roku is below.

Here is another Sin Cara interview and some thoughts from Renee Paquette.

Sadie Gibbs explains why she retired from wrestling: " With the uncertainty of the world, I just decided to put all my eggs into the fitness basket. Since making that choice, as hard as it was, I've just been waiting around and staring at a door that's been closed. I'm not about that. That's the reason for the announced retirement, just to close that door fully and get on with my life and the way it's going at the moment. Who knows, I did just reach the peak of my career and it did get cut short. That is gutting, but you can't sit and stare at a closed-door for too long, especially when you're getting other opportunities in an area that fulfills you."

Santos Escobar talks about his mom: "She's my guide. Everyone says their mom is the best, their number one fan, and that's who she is for me. She's been there for me since day one. My dad taught me the business and gave me the pearls of the business for almost 30 years, but my mom is my heart, my soul. If you see any overconfidence in Santos Escobar, any ego, that is my mom. She's the one pumping me up, telling me I'm going places, reminding me I will be champion. I hope everyone has a mom like her. For a very long time, she was preparing me for this life. I'll give you an example. I'm Mexican. My first language is Spanish, not English. But in America, you have to talk. You can communicate through your in-ring work, but you also have to do it on the mic. That requires an enormous amount of confidence, an enormous amount of pizzazz. All of that comes from my mom. She's that important to my career, and even more important to me."

Here's a new MSK interview.

This week's WWE Raw rating was a 0.53 18-49 demo (same as last week) with 1.817 million viewers, down from 1.872 million last week. (SBD)
