Alexa BlissEven though she never appeared on screen, Alexa Bliss (Lexi Kaufman) was backstage at WWE Raw last night. (PWI) It's possible she wasn't feeling up to being on camera because her beloved pet pig Larry-Steve passed away, and our condolences to her at this difficult time.

Jason Jordan and John Cone are both receiving praise in WWE for their new roles backstage. Jordan is the lead producer now that John Laurinaitis has taken over Talent Relations, while Cone has become his second in command following the firing of Mark Carrano. (PWI)

Via social media Will Ospreay shared the X-ray of his neck injury, although I'm not a doctor so I don't even know what I'm looking at here specifically.

Former WWE developmental wrestler Ezra Judge shares details of an incident with Drake Wuertz: "Ashantee Thee Adonis (went). He was showing me how to tie the ropes. Drake was in the middle of the ring and there was something on the other side of the ring, a turnbuckle pad or something, Drake being Drake, he was yelling, 'We need somebody here right now!' Me and Tuhutti (Miles), we're tying the knots and he looks at us and says 'You two get up here right now and put the pads on the turnbuckle.' I slowly turn and look at him and said, 'We're doing this right now. We're going to finish this and then we'll get to that.' He snaps, just yelling at the top of his lungs, 'No, you get in here right now!' I slid into the ring, everyone is watching, me being who I am, I got up and in his face and said, 'Don't ever talk to me like that again. Not even my father talks like that to me.' He had said 'boy' or something like that, something that triggered me. I don't know anything about him. I don't know him from the next man. I know that he's different so I got in the ring, looked him in the eye, and he took a step back and started yelling again. I slid out of the ring and said, 'Let me talk to you outside.' Everyone is like, 'Ohhhh.' I walked outside, he came out and we talked like men. I said, 'Look, I know you've been here for a while. You're a man, I'm a man too.' I asked him, 'Do you think you were respectful? Even if you thought I wasn't doing what I was supposed to be doing, do you think you respectfully asked me to do what you wanted me to do?' He was like, 'No man, you're right.' I'm the type of person that will nip it in the bud right there. If I feel like you're being disrespectful, I'm not going to continue to allow you to be disrespectful to me because I've shown you nothing but respect. We had an eye-to-eye and that was the last day Drake did that to me. I didn't have an issue with him. It was one of those things where after it happened, I walked back to the locker room and everyone was like, 'Good on you. That's how you stand up for yourself. You weren't doing anything wrong. You were doing what you were asked to do.' Sometimes, you have to check somebody because they'll keep walking all over you and talk a certain way. That's not how I operate."

2:00 PM ET. Will Ospreay insists he's sticking with New Japan: "I've committed myself to New Japan and I've said time and time again, I'm happy to end my career here. When I first started wrestling, I was like, 'When I'm 30, I think I'll stop wrestling.' I'm starting to hit my prime. I'm two years away from 30, I've signed a long-term deal with New Japan and will be here past 30. I've already screwed myself over there, I guess. {*laughing*} I'm happy here. I have so much free reign and I enjoy working for this company and doing everything I can. They've given me so much. In respects, me being a disrespectful little shit, I will always respect the company and the company to do well, it's just got to be in my image."

WWE is going through "major cuts" to office personnel this week, in particular the digital and WWE Network divisions, and many of the divisions will be folded into one office that will be overseen by EVP Kevin Dunn. Senior Vice President of Production for the company Brian Pellegatto was one of today's more notable cuts. (PWI) In addition announcer Adnan Virk and WWE have parted ways barely a month into his tenure in the company. Virk has released a statement about his departure: "Thanks to @WWE for a wonderful opportunity. The weekly travel along with my other jobs was a grind for me and my family. Am grateful to everyone with the company especially @WWEGraves and @ByronSaxton for being such fantastic teammates."

In the only Main Event match to take place at Raw yesterday, Ricochet beat Mustafa Ali in two out of three falls. (wInc)

Kofi Kingston didn't want to lose to Brock Lesnar in five seconds any more than the rest of us wanted him to: "I told a lot of people that if it was up to me, I would have had that match be different in the way that it went down. But the thing is, that it's not up to me. I think what we need to realize is that you control what you can control. That's it. I don't get mad over what I can't control. I show up to work, and it's like, 'What we're doing? Ok, maybe we can do it like this, but we're going to do it like this'. Then once you have the outline of what's going to happen, that's the way that you proceed. I wish it would have gone down differently. I appreciate that a lot of people were so angry with the way that it went down. I'm always just trying to work towards what's next. For me to come into work and be disgruntled about the way that things were handled, I'm the only one that's going to be affected by that. But what I can control is going out and starting afresh, getting back on the horse and riding, and keeping that positive attitude. I would say that I was disappointed with the way that it went down. But again, I wasn't so mad that I was going to come into work and just pout. I'm not going to come pout and be mad. That's not my style. I've never been like that. It's always been just a matter of just pushing forward no matter what. So that's what I did. You just keep on marching until the wheels fall off."

3:00 PM ET. EC3 talks about controlling his narrative: "We all know the stories of people working within that company, and that you don't have the opportunity to tell your stories and truly be yourself. So, the concept was based on anybody being allowed to tell their story, whatever it maybe. Who I truly am is not who I was in WWE, a watered down version of something I was in a different company. But I never had an opportunity to be that person in WWE - whether it's my fault, or anyone else's, it doesn't matter. It's just the fact that I wasn't allowed to be who I truly am."

Bronson Reed talks about his North American title win last week: "It means a lot to me. Apart from the 14 year journey that she's been by my side, I've been with my wife since we were teenagers, so we're high school sweethearts. We've been through a lot of crazy things in our lives to the point where we'll probably write a book someday, but on my 14 year journey to get to where I am, she was the one person always stuck by my side and supported me becoming a pro wrestler, being an independent pro wrestler, to going to Japan, all the time away to hopefully realize my dream of getting into WWE. And now I am standing there as the North American champion, and I got to bring her into the ring and share that moment with her. And you can't script those things, they're just real and authentic and it meant a lot to me."

Finn Balor talks about his move back to NXT: "The office came to me and said, 'Hey, we know you need a little time to regroup and refocus, and we could use your help in NXT. Would you be open to the option of returning there for a little while? Maybe it's three months. Maybe it's six months. But you recalibrate your character and then go back to Raw or SmackDown.' Three months turned into six months, turned into winning the title, turned to a year and a half now. I wouldn't change it for the world. It's been a great learning experience for me."

This week's lovely ladies with Lashley were Jessica Borga, Ijaza Saadat, Cristina, Mia Lanz, and Yesi Mena. (LCW)

Here's a new Renee Paquette interview.
