In this interview Roman Reigns talks about his "missionary" promo on John Cena: "There was a portion of my career where I'd either read a script or I would try to adjust a script as much as possible. For a while now, especially since I've come back from my little leave during the beginning of the pandemic since SummerSlam, I'm not scripted. I say what I want to. I say what I feel, and if it comes out of my mouth, it's my verbiage. I come up with it. I deliver it, and that's why it's been the way it's been because it's mine. I don't know why they edited that out, and I think it did raise some eyebrows, but I don't get in trouble. The gimmick is as close to being real as possible. Even if they try to say something to me, I wouldn't have cared anyways. What are you gonna do, not have me on SmackDown next week? Like I did before SummerSlam during last summer, I'll go home. It doesn't matter to me. Let's see how it goes without me. Everything's a bit of feel. Obviously, this is my job, so I have a game plan. I'm attached to the creative process, so Roman Reignswe're always brainstorming. We're always coming up with new material, but it's all on the delivery. You can have the coolest lines of all time, but if you're not connected to it, you're not within the skin of what you're trying to do, it's not going to come off right. So you have to really put yourself in that position and try to deliver it accordingly. It definitely wasn't something that was holstered throughout the week or the month or anything like that. I have to be in that process. I have to be on location and in the mode because there are huge differences between who I am in real life between Joe and Roman. I'm a father and a husband. That's the priority, but when it's time to go to SmackDown or time to go to a WWE event, I have to put on that whole Head of the Table mindset, that whole tribal chief skin, and try to display that as authentically as possible."

Here Paul Wight talks about Rampage at the United Center on Friday: "When you perform in front of these passionate crowds like this, they're going to bring out a part of your performance that you're not even aware of yet. You're going to feel that anticipation when your music's playing before you walk down the ramp. When you pull into the arena and the fans are backstage, there's an energy and a hype that comes of working in these big cities and these legendary cities like Chicago and New York and LA and stuff like that. So you want to take that energy and use it to your advantage, and this is going to be an incredible experience for a lot of our talent. A lot of our talent has yet to experience a crowd of that magnitude to perform in front of, and those are the kind of experiences that you take as a talent, and over years and experience, all those situations add up. They build confidence in you, they build confidence in your character, and you build that relationship with the audience. So, having the opportunity to work the United Center on an AEW card, for our younger talent, these are going to be those moments that they're not ever going to forget. There's going to be shows that you're going to have that will inspire you to work harder, that will inspire you to dig a little bit deeper in your character, dig a little bit deeper in your match psychology. I explain to young kids all the time that out of all the billions of people on this planet, you have worked hard, paid dues, made sacrifices, gotten lucky breaks, gotten opportunities, and there's probably only - let's be serious - out of all the billions of people on this planet, there's probably only 100 talents, male and female, that are featured every week on major television networks that actually really move professional wrestling today. The needle movers, people that talk about their storylines, people talk about their characters. And that unique opportunity is something that you don't sit back on your butt and say, 'Oh I made it, I'm here,' No, now's the time you keep working hard and you apply yourself more because these are the moments that define your career and these are the moments that make your character. These are the moments in time that help forge your destiny. So for me, I'm super excited to see where a lot of our talent that have worked so hard for so many years, that have great relationships with the fans, to now get to work on it on a bigger scale with a bigger, sold-out crowd, with crowds that are enthused about your product, people are excited about the AEW product. For me, a guy that's kind of seen it all and done it all, I'm excited for the younger generation to really take that in and embrace it. Years down the road, they can have old war stories like I have."

In this interview Bill Goldberg talks about Matt Riddle: "The cocky kid (Riddle) spouting off his mouth in the beginning, and I didn't appreciate it very much by any stretch of the imagination. But the guy has put in a lot of frickin' hard work and a lot of hard work, and he's dedicated his life to this business. Whether I like him as a human being or not, I have to understand and appreciate his passion for the business and his work ethic. Because he works hard and that I appreciate as an athlete and as a human. Is he a prick sometimes? Absolutely. But that's him. That's his character, and so am I."

Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado beat Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo to win the 2021 Super Junior Tag League tournament when Kanemaru pinned Ishimori in the main event. (NJPW)

Samoa Joe talks about his time doing commentary on Raw: "Incredibly difficult position, especially for my compatriot who is sitting and running traffic, guys like Michael Cole, Tom (Phillips), Vic Joseph, these guys are next level when it comes to getting in the trenches and knocking it out. Anybody who sits in that seat. Raw, SmackDown, NXT, it's an incredibly difficult place to be. That being said, it was a fantastic time. I really enjoyed learning so much more about the greater production side of what we do. How hard all those men work. From the guys slinging the cameras to the audio booms, it's incredible the amount of physical and mental effort that goes to putting on a live show every week. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it a tremendous amount. I learned a lot too."

Omos talks about his training at the WWE Performance Center: "Through my training at the PC, all I did was singles. When I came up, I was doing a tag team, so it was an adjustment mentally for me. Having to learn different spots where guys come in and the hot tags. It was different. I've been learning a lot in the past four months. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. One of the hardest matches we did was the Money in the Bank against Viking Raiders. That was very challenging for me, but after that, it was like, 'Oh, I get it now.' I fully get tag team (wrestling) and can remember spots and do all this stuff."

New Ring of Honor videos are below.

Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell to take on Robert Stone & Jessi Kamea in a Mixed Tag Team Match

Last week in a WWE Digital Exclusive, Jessi Kamea mentioned to Franky Monet that if she got the opportunity, she would mess up Indi Hartwell. In response, Robert Stone belittled Dexter Lumis and claimed he could beat the scary Superstar in under a minute. This left Monet pondering, which is always a recipe for trouble.

This week, Stone & Kamea will get their chance to back up their words when they go head-to-head with the intimidating duo of Lumis & Hartwell.

Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai issue final words before NXT TakeOver 36

The time for talking is almost over.

On the final episode of NXT before TakeOver 36, NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai will issue their last words to one another before doing battle this Sunday.

Whose words will prove most scathing heading into this highly anticipated NXT Women's Title matchup?

Samoa Joe says he got his new offer "hours" after his WWE release: "When the release came, it was only a few hours later Hunter came and with the new offer ready for me so it was a pretty easy transition. I can't really sit here and feign that I got released and, 'Oh, it was a sombre day.' I wasn't down anyway, but then Hunter called and we were good from there so it's tough for me to begin to address the release because when you read it in a tweet it's like, 'Oh my gosh!' But the way the actual events transpired for me, it was very mundane and alright, sign here and sign there, we're good. There wasn't a mourning process in this whole deal."

5:00 PM ET. The Young Bucks have filed new trademarks on Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, The Elite, Being The Elite, and BTE. (FF)

Charlotte Flair was "crushed" to miss WrestleMania 37: "Your fellow co-workers feel bad, but at the same time, it's a spot that's open. It's an opportunity. I missed WrestleMania this year due to COVID, I got it in March, and they were nervous that I wouldn't be okay for WrestleMania in Tampa, so they immediately took me out and replaced me with another girl. It crushed me. I work every year for WrestleMania. It is our Super Bowl and the show I've always shined the most on. When they replaced me, you know (another girl) is thinking, 'I'm sorry and sad Charlotte has COVID... but now I'm going to WrestleMania.' It all comes full circle. If something doesn't happen, it's a break for the opponent that gets to come in. It all works out."

Bobby Lashley on Gable Steveson potentially coming to WWE: "When I met him, he seemed like a really humble kid. I wish I had his potential at such a young age. That kid is going to make so much money in his life because he has so many years ahead of him. He is tagging Dana White on social media. He tagging Vince McMahon, Jon Jones. That is what he should be doing. He should be getting his name out there. I think if he comes to WWE, he would do really well. He is a big kid and very athletic and charismatic. I think he should wait a little bit. He is 21. Wait until I retire at least. When I'm gone, he'll have an opportunity to possibly win another world title."

Chris Jericho talks about fans trying to get in the ring at shows: "I've had a lot of those. I got hit with a D battery in San Francisco once. Who the hell is bringing D batteries to shows? You get that from time to time. Even when we were in Miami, somebody tried to hit the ring. You see them coming and it's one of those things where it doesn't happen often and DON'T TRY IT if anyone is listening because it doesn't end up well for you. I can see them coming and you have to get in the ring at some point and that's what people don't understand. When you get in the ring, you put your head down and go through the ropes and that's where you have the chance to make sure nothing bad happens. Don't throw things and don't try to get in the ring are the number one rules. The mindset of 'I bought a ticket, I can do what I want,' doesn't apply."

WALTER wants a match with Brock Lesnar: "Brock Lesnar is like, I think - I don't know how long he doesn't wrestle, two years? - for the years before that, I think he was the best wrestler in the world. Nobody was smarter, nobody drew more money, nobody knew how to protect themselves like he di]. He wasn't there all the time and I love that presentation about him. I think he's fantastic. Some of the best matches in WWE in the recent years have had Brock involved because he's fantastic. He's going to look like a million bucks, but everybody who wrestles him is going to look like that as well, when they have a competitive match with him. Obviously, that would be great to face Lesnar."

Here's a new Billy Corgan interview.

This week's Raw did 1.857 million viewers (up from 1.790 million) and jumped from a 0.49 to a 0.55 18-49 demo. (SBD)
