Mick FoleyTaking exception to a recent interview where Roman Reigns said CM Punk (Phil Brooks) was "no good" Mick Foley offered a different perspective: "CM PUNK WAS DAMN GOOD, AND DAMN OVER. With one interview he changed the course of the wrestling business. He had great matches with a wide variety of opponents on a nightly basis. When/if he returns to wrestling, he will once again be damn good and damn over."

In this interview Jonathan Gresham says he can't see himself leaving Ring of Honor: "Ring of Honor has given me so much, the company itself. I would have been in a really bad place in my life if I didn't become obsessed with Ring of Honor. So, I have no loyalties to any particular person in the company, but I want to see Ring of Honor in a certain place. I can't see myself leaving. I think Ring of Honor can be bigger than it's ever been. I really want to be a part of that and the only way for me to do that is to stay."

Diamante is the latest woman to be booked for NWA EmPowerrr.

In what sounds like one of the worst names for a wrestler in a while, WWE has filed a trademark on "Charlie Dempsey." (FF) He sounds like a vaudeville parody of a Marquis of Queensbury rules boxer.

Bobby Fulton was taken back to the hospital after spitting up blood so please keep him in your thoughts.

Faith Jefferies and Isaac Odugbesan were both offered WWE developmental contracts after a Las Vegas tryout.

Sammy Guevara talks about becoming friends with Chris Jericho: "I didn't know him prior to AEW. He ended up watching NWA 70, which I was wrestling at, and for whatever reason he saw my match and he took a liking to me. That's one of the reasons I was brought into AEW and into the Inner Circle. But it was more as TV weeks just progressed and we were doing stuff on TV, Le Sex Gods, and we were texting back and forth just with ideas. A real friendship just kind of grew naturally, it wasn't a forced thing. I really can't describe one moment, but it was pretty much just the weeks of TV. We just became better and better friends as time has gone on, through the good times and the bad times. He's been there for me when I've needed it most. I love that guy and I'll do anything for him."

Last but not least here's an Adam Bomb interview from the Shining Wizards Podcast.

The following is a press release from shiningwizards.com. Feel free to use the release in whole or part, but please credit the Shining Wizards if you do.

Recently, the Shining Wizards spoke with "Adam Bomb" Bryan Clark. Here are some of the highlights:

On possibly returning to WWE as Adam Bomb instead of Kronik: It was just Kronik, and Brian (Adams) wanted to go a lot more than I did. I told Brian, and we talked about this. I thought we should go to Japan right away. He was friends with 'Taker so he thought maybe we should go back to Vince. We both left there and we always had that unsettling heat. We just felt like, and I even felt like - and he did once we got there - that this was not a good idea. They did a hotshot of an angle, but Kane had a big staph infection and I think Taker had a shoulder injury. I had basically a broken neck and we were all just banged up. They didn't give us the time, and I said "hey, let's go on the road for a little bit and get a feel for each other versus just hotshotting it." It fell apart. Then we went to All-Japan like I suggested from the beginning.

On his wrestling figures: You guys are going to get this exclusive. Micro Brawler. Adam Bomb. I just found out today.

Does Bret Hart embellish his stories? Bret was a little bit of a lone wolf. But right now, he's talking about (in his book), we were over in Israel, and we did Bethlehem, and Tel Aviv, and that whole loop and (Bret) was talking about all the security with the machine guns, and that's all 100% legit. I was right there. I know what he's talking about. I didn't know the early stuff about Bret. I was playing college football after I finished up my military commitments so I didn't know Bret's full history. All the stuff I'm reading right now is spot on. Now, what he does after hours, I don't know.

On his merchandise resurgence: I think the whole retro thing picked up and got hot and is still hot across the board. I'm real creative, and so actually during Covid, all I did other than work out and stuff, I love doing graphic design. All my t-shirts, I did every one of them as far as coming up with the concept, colors, and fonts. All that. I got a guy in LA that works with me to do the most detailed parts of it. But as far as picking everything and putting in the ideas and putting it together, I like it. I enjoy it, and that sort of happened, and then one thing happened after another and I love it, man. It's great and very humbling too.

On replacing Ludvig Borga at WrestleMania 10: I had a couple people say that, but I never did hear it because prior to that, we were on a European Tour and I worked with Earthquake for like ten nights in a row preparing for Mania. That's sort of the way they did it at the time. We had like a 15 minute match worked out. A damn good match actually. I'm hearing Ludvig Borga stuff now, but I think he may have left or got terminated prior, maybe in January prior to that. I'm not sure. We started working all those nights prior too in Europe. Germany and UK, but again I can't quite pinpoint the date.

The Adam Bomb Tattoo: That was a shoot tattoo. I was in the military, of course I'm a Veteran. Go Vets. But yeah, the tattoo issue was I had a tattoo when I was in the military, then I got that over it. Then when I left there (WWE), I lasered it right off and became Wrath, and Kronik and on and on.

On which version of Wrath he liked better: The no-joke Wrath. I mean, I went undefeated for six or seven months, or whatever it was. Yeah man, and I had that meltdown finisher. I invented it. A million people have done the pump handle but no-one ever took them up and over all the way like I did, and then tuck the head and make it a slam. You'll see people hook that move, but they never (hook it), and a lot of people aren't strong enough to do it. I got Meng in it, and he was 320.

On initially getting The Adam Bomb Character: I liked it. I've told this story before. They offered me two different gimmicks, and I've told people if they don't believe me, go to the trademark commission and look it up. But they had the Adam Bomb trademark and The Ringmaster. I chose Adam Bomb. I just felt I could do a lot more with it. It was, like you said, very colorful. It just had a lot of potential I felt at the time.

On meshing with top WCW talent: I kind of knew everybody. Like with Sting & Luger, and Hall & Nash. Hogan, Flair, & Bischoff… easy going man. To me, my experience, it was fine because we had already worked that territory up at Vince's place so we knew what a brutal hellacious schedule was like. And then to come to WCW and make five times the money at a lot easier pace, it was night and day. Goldberg is great. People don't like him or whatever, but Bill has always been great to me and Brian (Adams) prior to Kronik and me even as Wrath. Just a great guy.
