Match 1

Dan Spivey and Mike Rotundo vs Les Thornton and Tiger Chung Lee

Rotundo and Thornton lock up, and Thornton forces Rotundo in to the ropes. Thornton lands a series of uppercuts and gets a side headlock takeover but Rotundo counters with a head scissors. Thornton forces Rotundo in to the corner and makes a tag out. Lee locks in a side headlock but Rotundo makes the tag out while coming off the ropes and Spivey catches Lee with a shot to the gut. Spivey gets a side headlock takeover and controls the head. Lee gets back to his feet and lands a big body slam but Spivey catches him with a kick out. Spivey lands a big body slam and another side headlock takeover, but Thornton comes in to distract the official allowing Lee to break out of it and choke Spivey. Thornton comes in and works over Spivey and the heels work over Spivey for a bit until he can escape the grasp and make the tag out to Rotundo.

Rotundo comes in and lands a series of shots and sends Lee in to the corner and Lee does the over the turnbuckle spot. Rotundo sends Lee in to the corner and lands a big elbow as the version of this show on the Network/Peacock feed seems to have some technical difficulties. Heels take over on Rotundo for a little bit working him over until he escapes the grasp and makes the tag back to Spivey. Spivey lands a series of shots and whips Lee in to the ropes and lands a big dropkick sending Lee to the floor. Spivey slingshots Lee back in to the ring and makes the tag to Rotundo. Rotundo picks up and slams Lee and lands a big elbow drop. Lee forces Rotundo in to the ropes and makes the tag. Thornton lands a series of shots but misses a charge in the corner allowing Rotundo a chance to tag out. Spivey lands a series of shots on Thornton and sends him in to the corner and lands a big back elbow, Spivey hooks Thornton and lands a big bulldog out of the corner for the win.

Match 2

Tony Atlas vs Harley Race

Atlas and Race lock up, Race locks in a side headlock but Atlas shoves him off and they run together with a big shoulder tackle. Atlas locks in a side headlock of his own but Race counters with a big back duplex but misses a big elbow drop. Atlas goes right back to the side headlock but Race forces him in to the ropes and lands a shoulder to the gut, Race snaps Atlas over but misses a big headbutt and Atlas looks in YOU GUESSED IT another side headlock. Race forces Atlas in to the ropes and lands a series of shots that sends Atlas in to the ropes, and then sends him in to the railing at ringside. Race brings Atlas back on to the apron and snaps the neck on the apron, followed by an outside in duplex. Race works over Atlas and lands a big neck breaker and a series of shots. Race goes for another duplex but Atlas counters and lands one of his own. Atlas fights back and sends Race shoulder first in to the corner and lands a big bile and a dropkick. Atlas climbs the ropes and lands a big headbutt off the top rope to a standing Race. Atlas comes off the ropes but Race gets the knees up, followed by a quick sunset flip on Atlas for the win.

Match 3

King Tonga vs Duke of Dorchester Pete Doherty

Doherty goes right after Tonga but Tonga quickly fights back with a series of chops sending Doherty to the mat. Doherty goes for the wristlock but Tonga counters in to a hammerlock but Doherty gets to the ropes. Tonga locks in a full nelson and Dougherty climbs the ropes but Tonga lets go by just dropping Doherty to the mat. Doherty goes for a spinning toehold but Tonga kicks him off. Doherty goes for a side headlock but it gets turned in to a belly to back duplex. Doherty rakes the face and tries to send Tonga head first in to the corner but Tonga no sells and Doherty bails out. Doherty sends Tonga in to the ropes but Tonga rolls through and lands a series of arm drags. Tonga whips Doherty in to the ropes and lands a big back body drop followed by a side creasing kick to the chest. Tonga climbs the ropes and lands a big diving headbutt to score the easy win

Match 4

Pedro Morales vs Moon dog Spot

Morales and Spot lock up, and Spot forces Morales in to the ropes and gets a cheap shot. Spot locks in a side headlock and gets shoved off but catches Morales with a shoulder tackle. Spot comes off the ropes and Morales drops down and catches Spot with a big back drop and Spot begs off. Spot locks in another side headlock but again gets shoved off and lands another shoulder tackle, but this time Morales catches him with a big body slam coming off the ropes. Spot eventually comes back and lands a series of shots sending Morales through the ropes. Spot hooks Morales and duplexes him back inside the ring for a near fall, and locks in a chin lock. Spot whips Morales in to the corner and Morales catches him with a sunset flip out of the corner for a near fall. Spot comes back and lands a series of shots and works over Morales. Spot goes for a big powerslam but Morales escapes and gets a quick O'Connor Roll for the win.

Match 5

Jake Roberts vs Ricky Steamboat

Steamboat goes right after Jake on the floor with a series of shots and rolls him in to the ring. Jake catches Steamboat as he comes in with a knee lift, Jake whips Steamboat in to the ropes and lands a shot to the gut followed by a shot to the head. Jake goes for a DDT but Steamboat counters by twisting the arm. Steamboat mounts Jake and lands a series of punches before the referee pulls him off allowing Jake to escape. Steamboat catches Jake coming in with a series of chops and sends Jake in to the corner and lands a series of shots and lands a big shot to the head. Steamboat lands a shot and Jake gets tied up in the ropes, Steamboat goes after Jake but the referee pulls him away and Steamboat argues and eventually goes underneath the legs of the referee, but Jake frees himself and catches Steamboat with a big atomic drop, Jake hooks Steamboat and lands a big short clothesline followed by a series of punches before launching Steamboat over the top rope. Steamboat goes for a slingshot sunset flip but Jake stops him. Jake locks in a sleeper hold but Steamboat counters out with an atomic drop.

Jake lands a series of body slams, and tries to untie the snake bag but his hands are too sweaty so he can't do it. Jake goes for a knee lift but Steamboat gets out of the way and Jake goes in to the ring post. Steamboat lands a series of shots and works over Jake. Steamboat lands a series of swinging neck breakers on Jake and goes for a big splash but Jake gets the knees up, and pitches Steamboat to the floor. Steamboat gets back to his feet and on the apron but Jake knocks him back down to the floor. Jake and Steamboat duke it out on the floor and Jake tries to send Steamboat in to the ring but Steamboat sends him in to the ring post and rolls Jake in to the ring and the bell rings as Steamboat is trying to get back in to the ring so I guess we have a count out.

Winner by Count Out Jake Roberts

After the match. Steamboat argues with the referee and Jake catches him with a  shot to the back and pitches Steamboat to the floor. Jake goes for another DDT on the floor much like the match months earlier on Saturday Night's Main Event but Steamboat counters and sends Jake back first in to the apron. Steamboat lands a series of chops and sends Jake back in to the ring. Steamboat climbs the ropes and lands a big chop to the head and continues to work over Jake, the referee again attempts to get involved but this time Steamboat shoves him down. Steamboat goes after Jake and the referee is able to pull Steamboat off this time and Jake escapes. This was a hot match and a hot segment to end this match and continue the feud for the next Boston Garden show.

Match 6

For the World Wrestling Federation Championship

WWF Champion Hulk Hogan vs WWF IC Champion Randy Savage w Elizabeth

Savage attacks Hogan at the bell and lands a series of shots and climbs the ropes with the belt and lands a big shot to the back with the belt from the top rope. Savage works over Hogan and lands a big double Ax Handle off the top rope. Savage goes over to the corner to yell at Elizabeth which allows Hogan to come back and land a series of shots and a big clothesline while mockingly wearing the sunglasses of Savage and sends him to the floor. Hogan goes out after Savage and lands a series of shots and rolls Savage back in to the ring. Hogan sends Savage in to the ropes and lands a big clothesline. Hogan picks up Savage and lands a big back suplex on Savage. Hogan lands a series of shots and works over Savage early on. Savage sends Hogan to the floor and lands a big Double Ax Handle to Hogan on the floor. Savage rolls Hogan back in to the ring and lands the big flying elbow smash on Hogan for a near fall. Savage lands a series of shots but Hogan no sells them. Hogan lands a series of shots and sends Savage in to the corner and Savage winds up in the tree of woe. Hogan whips Savage in to the ropes and lands a big boot, Hogan picks up and slams Savage and lands the big LEG DROP for the win.

Winner Hulk Hogan

After the match. Savage who is joined by Adrian Adonis in a dress and skirt attack Hogan. Adonis and Savage beat down Hogan for a little bit but Hogan eventually fights back and cracks the heads of Adonis and Savage together. Hogan catches Savage and lands an atomic drop and sends him over the ropes. Hogan goes after Adonis who escapes but not before Hogan can rip his dress off and Adonis runs away humiliated as Hogan poses.

Match 7

Billy Jack Haynes vs Moondog Rex

BJH and Rex lock up, BJH locks in a side headlock and Rex shoots him off but BJH catches him with a shoulder tackle. BJH comes off the ropes and Rex goes for a hip toss but BJH counters with one of his own followed by a dropkick. BJH goes back to the side headlock but Rex forces him back in to the corner and lands a series of shots. BJH locks in a chinlock but Rex escapes and lands a back suplex. Rex lands a series of shots and sends BJH in to the corner and catches him coming out with a big backbreaker and works over BJH. BJH lands a series of shots and works over Rex and lands a big shot sending Rex to the floor. BJH whips Rex in to the ropes but misses a big dropkick. Rex lands a series of shots but BJH comes back and lands a big clothesline and locks in the FULL NELSON for the quick submission win.

Match 8

King Kong Bundy vs The Junkyard Dog

Bundy and JYD lock up, and Bundy shoves JYD back in to the corner. Bundy and JYD lock up again, JYD forces Bundy in to the corner but is backed off by referee Danny Davis, but this allows Bundy to sneak in a shot to the head sending JYD to the mat. Bundy goes for an elbow and misses and JYD lands his kneeling headbutts and Bundy bails out. Bundy and JYD trade shots and Bundy gets the upper hand but then misses a big splash, but JYD misses a big headbutt. Bundy and JYD trade shots again and JYD rocks Bundy with a big headbutt sending him back in to the corner. Bundy lands a knee to the gut and works over JYD in the corner. JYD fights back and gets his hands on the chain and Bundy bails and referee Danny Davis takes the chain away. Bundy and JYD both end up arguing over the chain and JYD gets control of and hurls Danny Davis to the mat as Bundy bails out which causes the Disqualification.

Main Event  

Don Muraco w MR Fuji vs Paul Orndorff

Muraco and Orndorff lock up, Muraco sneaks in a knee to the gut and lands a series of shots. Muraco sends Orndorff in to the corner and lands more shots. Muraco snaps Orndorff over and lands a neck snap on Orndorff. Muraco goes for an Irish whip but Orndorff counters and catches him coming out with a back body drop followed by a big bodyslam and Muraco rolls to the floor. Muraco and Orndorff lock up, Orndorff gets an arm takedown and bars and controls the arm. Muraco gets back to his feet and shoots Orndorff to the ropes but Orndorff ducks a series of shots and gets a big clothesline, followed by another arm drag and arm bar and Orndorff continues to control the arm in the early going.  

Muraco forces Orndorff in to the corner, and whips him in to the neutral corner and lands a big shot in the corner. Muraco snaps over Orndorff and lands a series of shots and locks in a nerve hold. Muraco gets a foreign object and climbs the ropes and lands a shot to the head with the object which doesn't cause a Disqualification. Muraco locks in another chinlock but Orndorff fights out of it. Muraco and Orndorff trade shots but Orndorff gets the upper hand and lands a series of shots and climbs the ropes and lands a big elbow. Orndorff lands a big elbow coming off the ropes for a near fall. Muraco and Orndorff trade more shots, Orndorff gets a small package but the bell rings before the fall can even be counted.

Winner Time Limit Draw.  

Not a great show here, however you do get some good stuff between Jake/Steamboat and Hogan/Save and set up for their matches on the next card. But a weak undercard for a Hogan led show and a main event with a draw finish where the referee apparently botched the finish and awarded the match to Paul Orndorff.
