USWA and Memphis Wrestling veteran "The Snowman" Eddie Crawford passed away after suffering a heart attack this week. (PWI) Bill Watts once promoted him as "the protege of Muhammad Ali" and booked a show at the Superdome with Ali as his manager. Ali was supposed to punch out Jake "The Snake" Roberts as part of the angle but Roberts refused to take a bump for Ali. (WO) Our condolences to Crawford's friends, family, and fans.

Chelsea Green says she never saw her WWE release coming: "Honestly, I did not see it coming. There was not one part of me. The funny thing is, I got fired on maybe a Wednesday? I had my outfit sitting out for Friday because I had been consistently showing up, getting TV ready, sitting my ass in the car, driving to Tampa and showing up at RAW and Smackdown's to try and get booked. My arm had been fine, I had been cleared for about two months. I had been showing up to TV, ready to go, with my gear in my car. So when that call came, it was about three days after I had actually contacted office to say 'Hey, surprise! It's me again. I have another idea. I'm coming to TV on Friday to pitch it to you guys.' So, I had no clue. I think my initial reaction was that I had no reaction and I just got down to business. I opened up my Pro Wrestling Tees store, then contacted Ring of Honor, NWA, and Impact and stuff. But then later on, slowly as time has gone by, it's been one of - I just think it was a missed opportunity. And I'm a little upset, but I think I'm more pissed about it. I'm pissed that I was at the top of my game. I was the Knockout's Champion, I was main-eventing Lucha Underground, they chose me to be one of the four females at All In. And then I sat for two years, or almost two and a half years. A lot of people are blaming that on my arm, but I broke my arm for six weeks out of those two and a half years. That's no excuse, absolutely no excuse not to use somebody."

4:00 PM ET. To make a long story short Alex Shelley says MLW is a good fit for him.

The lineup for Impact on AXS tonight is below. (IW)

* Before The Impact: Raj Singh vs. Matt Cardona
* Madman Fulton vs. Christopher Daniels
* Street Fight: W. Morrissey vs. Eddie Edwards
* X-Division Title Tournament Triple Threat: Laredo Kid vs. Trey Miguel vs. Alex Zayne
* No. 1 Contender's Match for Knockouts Tag Titles: The Influence vs. Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering

Dan Lambert says he doesn't want to cause any "headaches" in AEW: "I don't know what it's like for everybody there. I can only speak for myself. But the first time I walked in, I texted Tony (Khan) before I got there and said, 'Hey, I'm going to say something like this,' And he texted me back and said, 'Great.' He obviously is going to have some creative control if I'm going to do something that's going to be stupid or get somebody in trouble; although, it might be fun to get cancelled. But I don't want to cause him any headaches, but at some point, that might happen."

WWE 205 Live preview: Baxter and Jiro set for hard-hitting tag bout with Imperium

On a thrilling edition of 205 Live, Dante Chase makes his first appearance on the purple brand and battles Malik Blade, Amari Miller and Valentina Feroz lock horns in a highly anticipated rematch, and Ikemen Jiro and Trey Baxter join forces for a slugfest with Imperium.

The WWE Universe is in for a classic clash of acrobatics against technical grappling when the flashy and fun-loving Jiro pairs with the upstart Baxter to tangle with Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner, two of the most serious competitors in WWE.

Jiro enters this collision having won his last three singles bouts on the purple brand, Baxter is coming off a narrow victory against Andre Chase, and Imperium has remained one of the most successful and feared teams on NXT 2.0.

Will Jiro and Baxter take to the skies to post an exciting win against the former NXT Tag Team Champions, or will Imperium prevail in their mission to ensure that the mat remains sacred?

Plus, after wowing the WWE Universe in a seesaw battle that saw Feroz claim victory a few weeks ago, Miller and Feroz will run it back with a highly anticipated rematch.

Though both relatively new to WWE, each has shown impressive poise and athleticism in their first few matches, and whichever Superstar emerges victorious could bolster their chances of entering the title picture.

While he's still searching for his first win, Blade has turned some heads during his first handful of bouts on 205 Live and NXT 2.0. The newcomer boasts an impressive and diverse repertoire, highlighted by a picture-perfect crossbody that he has unleashed on the likes of Jiro and Boa.

Chen, meanwhile, claimed a hard-earned victory against Baxter in his NXT 2.0 debut, and the rookie will now be eyeing similar success on the purple brand.

There you go.
