In addition here are new Impact Wrestling clips.

In this interview Ricky Gibson talks about what makes Defy Wrestling so special: "So how is Defy different? Sometimes it's hard to explain that IT factor because there's something that just separates professional wrestling and Defy wrestling. You're looking at a roster of people, they don't come just to wrestle. They don't come just to hang out with their friends and family, they go out there for a little bit of clout and to be able to say, 'Hey, I wrestled in that match.' That's not what the Defy roster is about. You're looking at a roster of people that wants to go out there and be the absolute best in the world, and you can see that just by some of the people that they bring in. On the show you're talking about on Thursday, you have Daniel Garcia and Christopher Daniels. Two of the best names in professional wrestling are coming to Defy. There's a lot of great companies in LA, and I don't want to take away from any one of them. I've wrestled for a lot of them, and I've got friends that work in a lot of them and they're phenomenal. Defy is different though. It's a different atmosphere. It's a nonstop, action-packed show, and if you haven't been to a Defy show or even watched a Defy match on Defy on demand, it's crazy. It's always go go go, nonstop competition."

Mike Bennett reacts to NXT 2.0: "It's one of those things where I don't think they know what's good in wrestling anymore. The proof is in the pudding. I can't sit through the show 'cause as a wrestling fan, I don't consider it good wrestling. They can talk about that they're gonna spice it up a little, or make it more Rated R, or whatever they're gonna do, but at the end of the day, if you don't have a pulse on what wrestling fans want to see, it's just not gonna be good."

A new Bryan Danielson interview is below.

Here's the lineup for SmackDown tonight. (WWE)

* King of the Ring Semifinals: Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor
* Queens Crown semifinals: Carmella vs. Zelina Vega
* Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
* Sonya Deville vs. Naomi
* Brock Lesnar to confront Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns claims AEW isn't competition even though the fact he's talking about them in an interview shows that they ARE.

5:00 PM ET. Ruby Soho talks about her first month in AEW: "It's been a whirlwind. It's been a dream. Honestly, I didn't think I could love pro wrestling any more than I already did until I came here. It's just really honestly been like a dream come true. This place is what professional wrestlers dream of. This is something that I thought would exist, but not necessarily in my lifetime and my career span. So I'm so lucky and fortunate. I'm just so grateful every day I get to come to work. I love the environment. I love my boss. I love the crowd, the fans. I love every part of it and to be able to see everything play out, not even just stuff that I'm involved in but other things. To be able to be a fan and be able to do it at the same time is great."

To make a long story short "never say never" is Adam Cole's answer to reuniting The Undisputed Era in AEW.

To make another one shorter Becky Lynch tells Ronda Rousey not to come back to WWE.

X-Pac (Sean Waltman) loves tonight's AEW vs. WWE head to head battle: "I'm fucking here for it all day long. I love it when two promoters whip their dicks out and see whose cock is bigger. I have no idea what's gonna happen numbers wise. I'm definitely looking forward to finding out. I have a feeling it's gonna be fairly close." The Young Bucks like it too.

Here's another Roman Reigns interview.

Heath (Slater) says he's signed a two year deal with Impact.

To make a long story short Chris Jericho says Paige VanZant is a natural for pro wrestling. I'd certainly rather see her do that than bare knuckle fighting.

Here's another Malakai Black interview.

Nick Mondo talks about how much Jon Moxley has changed since his WWE days: "I think he's just so much more comfortable. He was doing I believe more than 250 shows a year at one point, averaging like five a week. So he said to me one time 'obviously you get beat up, but the toughest part is being in a seated position all the time, whether you're in a vehicle or on a plan. Just think of the travel. Ugh. It's just brutal. Most of your life is just in a seated position, you know?' So he has a lot more freedom. If he wants to say something on the mic, he can say it. And I mean, if he wants to show up at an indie show and wrestle Nick Gage in a legitimate death match, he can do it. So just being able to choose, there is a line that I use in the edit and he just said 'I spent a lot of years just not getting what I want. Just not getting satisfaction and just not getting to choose. And this is what I want. I can choose it and this is what I'm going after.' I think he's just living it up. A lot of guys aren't going to want to do death matches like this on a regular basis, and I certainly don't blame Moxley. But it is a rush, if you can pop in there and experience it and go back. I can see how he's excited about this."

Juice Robinson on why he doesn't do social media: "I get asked that all the time. It came from one day I just got fed up with it. I don't think I'm speaking out of turn by saying there is a whole hell of a lot of negativity on social media. I don't know. I figure I wrestle for a company, New Japan Pro Wrestling, I am not a promoter. They are the promoters. They should promote me. I don't need to be promoting that I had a ham sandwich for lunch and look at me I went to Gold's Gym. Everything that everyone does on that, for the most part, in my opinion, is them tooting their own horn. It makes me sick. I don't really care how many pull-ups you did in your dad's basement, okay? That's cool. We're all working out. Seriously. I don't need it documented. I don't need a like for it. Trust me. I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing to be a pro wrestler, okay? I don't need to brag about it. I'm pro wrestling from curtain to curtain and when I'm not, my name is Joseph Ryan Robertson. I'm your neighbor. I'm drinking a Miller Lite and I'm flipping burgers on my grill. That's it and that's how I feel about it and I'll get real hot about it sometimes."

Here's what's on tap for 205 Live. (WWE)

A loaded edition of 205 Live that is set to air at a special start time of 10:30/9:30 C will feature NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong in action against Odyssey Jones, Jeet Rama making his first appearance on the purple brand against Boa, and Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen taking on a pair of local competitors.

Strong is arguably on the greatest roll of his career ever since linking up with The Diamond Mine, an impressive collection of competitors renowned for their vigorous training regimen and no-nonsense attitude in the ring.

Nevertheless, the NXT Cruiserweight Champion is in for arguably his toughest test since winning the gold when he battles Jones in a non-title bout. Jones made it to the finals of the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament and has bested the likes of Trey Baxter, Austin Theory and Andre Chase.

Rama, who took AJ Styles to the limit in a memorable barnburner at WWE Superstar Spectacle, will seek a monumental victory when he collides with Boa of Tian Sha. Boa has recently caught fire, having won four of his last five matches entering Friday night's tilt with Rama.

Plus, the powerful duo of Briggs and Jensen will be in tag team action against two local competitors.

Don't miss a thrilling edition of 205 Live, streaming Friday at a special start time of 10:30/9:30 C on Peacock in the United States and on Peacock everywhere else!

Here's another Tony Khan interview and yet another one too.

Minoru Suzuki will be at the Impact tapings on Oct. 24th and 25th in Vegas.

Here's a new Sasha Banks interview.

Maria Kanellis talks about her WWE tryout: "I was purple after I was done! From my shoulder down my back, down my legs, was purple because of hitting the ropes and taking the bumps, and also doing the squats. Lance Storm was training that week. I was there, Mickie was there, Angelina Love was there, I think Melina - and it was a tryout. And Michelle McCool, oh my God. She shined above all of us Diva girls because she's so athletic! So yeah, I was purple. I landed on my chin. I went to do a sunset flip, went and I caught my chest on Mickie and I landed right on my chin. So, my butt was hanging in the air and I was balanced on my chin and my chest. I thought I was paralyzed, it was awful! As a fan, you don't know until you know. It's intense."

The Luna Vachon Dark Side of the Ring last night did 135,000 viewers, only down slightly from 137,000 last week for Johnny K-9. The 18-49 demo went UP from 0.05 to 0.06. (SBD)
