Here's what we know now about the Ring of Honor shutdown. Sinclair Broadcasting has not cancelled ROH's television show. Even beyond the already scheduled tapings, ROH will continue to run TV using existing or previously unaired footage. When ROH relaunches before or at Supercard of Honor next year, they will not be using talent under contract -- they'll use whatever top indie names they can book on a per show basis. Obviously this means that if they have ROH champions, they could be poached by AEW, WWE, New Japan or Impact at any time. Even though talent have already started accepting independent bookings, the official period that current ROH contracted talent will still get paid runs through the end of the year. (WO)

To make a long story short CM Punk says he wants to give back to pro wrestling.

3:00 PM ET. Doc Gallows says he's happy that WWE exists: "I got a lot of friends at WWE. I'm glad WWE exists because that's what I like as a fan. They're gonna do it their way, and that's gonna be it. We just saw that with NXT. They killed their own model because the guy in charge didn't like it. A serious change. We just signed those massive contracts, and then the pandemic hit and they did all those cuts, but the reason the contracts got so huge to begin with was to fight off AEW. It did not work, and even guys who got 'fired' went and got hotter or left on their own and got hotter. It helped."

Matt Tremont explains why he retired last year: "There was a whole lot behind it. There were many many variables and reasons of why I wanted to step away for the work and the shoot of it. Was the body beat up? Yeah. I needed a little bit of a break mentally and physically. I don't mind saying it for the first time, a lot of it had to do with real life. That was in the heart of the pandemic, and I was four months behind in rent because we were running live shows but we could only put 25 to 50 people in the building at the time. Still took care of all the boys every show, and while we continued to struggle behind the scenes and going into Extravaganza weekend last October, I was struggling. It was a couple things, it was to pay tribute to our friend Danny Havoc that passed, and this was a big event and a big weekend that had a lot of eyes on it. The last deciding factor of me retiring was presenting myself with the idea of, this weekend is already big but it needs a match that's going to sell more tickets. And I said, if I retire and put myself in that position, then it's going to do good business. And I don't mind stepping away and have more time behind the scenes, and be able to take care of my body and just to have more time to do a lot of things. I use it now as a teaching example with my students, that sacrifice part. I sacrificed my own career so I know we could make money that weekend, so I can keep this building and this company going a year ago. That was the biggest reason. That is the first time I really ever put that out there, and now a year later, we're here. And then once I got into retirement, I was happy, content, and I had no plans, no intentions of coming back. Did I think I would ever wrestle again? One hundred. But not within a year, and in March is when Onita touched base and this process started, and it's been crazy."

Charlotte Flair was pulled from her media appearances for WWE today. (FF)

TJP vs. Calvin Tankman has been added to MLW War Chamber.

The hits just keep on coming for ROH as there won't be new TV this week for "technical reasons" so an "encore presentation" will air instead.

Here's a new Mandy Rose interview.

Via social media Hacksaw Jim Duggan announced he has prostate cancer and will be undergoing emergency surgery tomorrow. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

Here's a new IInspiration interview and the updated lineup for Impact tonight. (IW)

* X Division Championship: Trey Miguel (c) vs. Rocky Romero
* Tasha Steelz vs. Rachael Ellering
* Chris Sabin vs. Ace Austin
* Joe Doering vs. Heath
* Mickie James addresses the IMPACT Zone
* New Knockouts champs The IInspiration are at the Impact Zone
* New World champ Moose will open the show
* BTI: VSK vs. Sam Beale

5:00 PM ET. Former WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez was part of the Spanish announce team for AEW in Boston last night. (PWI)

Atsushi Onita has arrived in the U.S. for his match with Matt Tremont. (PWI)

Last night's Dynamite did 941,000 viewers and a 0.40 18-49 demo, well up from the recebt Saturday night numbers but also well down from their usual Wednesday night numbers. Game two of the World Series on FOX combined with NBA on ESPN probably hurt their numbers a bit. (Wrestlenomics)

6:00 PM ET. According to a report from Fightful, the entire ROH tape library from the time Sinclair took over forward is for sale to the highest bidder. Wouldn't they need that library to produce content for Sinclair if they're not completely cancelled though? Some of the reporting since the initial Ring of Honor announcement just doesn't seem to make sense. That sale would include footage of All In, the initial PPV that launched AEW. Tony Khan owns the trademark for All In, but Sinclair/ROH owns the footage.

Matt Riddle talks about Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg: "I don't want to upset the higher ups, and I said something about, not gonna mention the exact name, but he's a chief of tribes. I said something about him recently. I'm not saying specific names. That can be anybody, but he wasn't happy. I talked some trash about me moving the needle on some merch, and he didn't like what I said. I thought it was hilarious but not everybody thinks like me, and then Brock, I still want the match with Brock. I promised him I wouldn't call him out anymore. He asked me not to a couple years ago at Royal Rumble, so I respect your wishes Mr. Beast. I won't call you out, but I'll say this, Bill, Bill Goldberg, I'll be honest, I think I've grown on the guy. I think he's grown on me a little. I think that match can possibly happen. We both went to Saudi. We were both on the same airplane. We bumped into each other quite a few times on that airplane. I think we can get that match. I think we pull that one out. No promises but I'm hoping by 2022, we get Riddle vs. Goldberg. It will sell tickets. Out of those match-ups, I see that one happening, being the most realistic. Brock, that's a dream of mine, but I don't know about that, and the one that we don't talk about, the chief of tribes, I don't think he's ready. Not that he couldn't be ready. Just like Randy, I don't think Randy was ready a couple of years ago for me. It would have been too soon. I think right now, the keys in the same situation. I don't think he's ready for me yet. I think I ruffled his feathers a little bit. He's a peacock. You know he doesn't like his feathers ruffled. Kind of like I rubbed Bill the wrong way. I don't think Bill was ready for a relationship for me. Now over time, in a year, things have simmered down."

Joe Koff tries to explain what's going on with Ring of Honor: "After Final Battle, which is on December 11th, we are going to take the first quarter off and we are going to reimagine a new Ring of Honor product. So Ring of Honor's not going away, it's just going to have a different look. We are going to use that first quarter. We have amazing archival footage. Our programs will all be original. They'll all be new. We have a couple of surprises that we can talk about later on that I think the fans will really like, but the fans have always been the most important part of our business, Mike, you know that, and we want to move to a much more fan engaged promotion. We value the fans. We are looking and we think it's important to all fans say, 'We need to have this guy.' You know what? I'm going to listen because they're the fan. Look to book creatively with Hunter and our team, the best talent that makes sense for a storyline, for an arc, for a show like Supercard and just bring wrestling, just great wrestling to our fans." Okay BUT... how can you have amazing archival footage if you sell it all?

Kota Ibushi has a theory about his dislocated shoulder: "There is a cause for it, weight control. This time, I've lost or gained weight by then. I was able to practice Phoenix, but there were too many waves. If that is 100 grams different, it's completely different (feeling). Because it's such an advanced technique. That was 3 kilometers different on the day of the KENTA match (18th). I was intentionally increasing it for the championship deciding match, but I think I was tired. I wonder if my weight was definitely (influenced). I also saw the video, but if you look closely, it's still heavier than usual. Low. The position of the (set) opponent is also close. I tried to fly closer, so I tried not to jump that much."
