Nickolye's WWE NXT recap for November 9, 2021 at 8 PM ET! The women of NXT 2.0 are ready for battle as we start tonight's episode with a 6-woman tag team match between Toxic Attraction against Io Shirai with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter! Also, the new team of Jacket Time take on The Creed Brothers. NXT has a makeover in 2.0 fashion. Hit F5 or refresh as often as you like for the latest updates!

* Toxic Attraction {NXT Women's & Tag Team Champions} vs. Io Shirai, Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro

The NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose and Kayden Carter start the match. Kayden has a little fun with the champ to start, and that angers her so much that she sneak-attacks Io on the apron. Gigi Dolin tags in to bring the serious competitive side of things with a hurricanrana. Jacy Jayne tags in with a cheap shot, trips up on the ropes but still hits a neckbreaker for a 2-count. Jacy hits a step-up enzuigiri, Kayden makes the tag, Io comes in with a kneedrop and gets a 2-count. Io gives Jayne a dragon screw, Kayden tags in, Kacy tags in, Kayden kicks her in the head and Kacy hits a tope atomico for a 2-count. Mandy tags back in, Kacy does a headscissors takedown, hits a corkscrew plancha, Kayden hits a diving crossbody to the NXT Tag Team Champions, but then Mandy hits Shirai with a spinebuster!

This takes us to our first commercial break with picture-in-picture as Io gets some backup in the ring making Toxic Attraction re-group on the outside. Mandy gets back in against Kacy and goes to work on the dimunitive dynamo, but both sides tag and Io takes Dolin down with a crossbody! Io rolls her up for 2, takes her down in her corner, and hits pendulum knees to the chest. Kacy tags in to put her in an armbar, Gigi escapes a headlock, Kacy counters the front facelock with a jackknife pin for 2, and Gigi blasts her from behind off of a distraction. Mandy tags in to put her in the body scissors and that's how we end the picture-in-picture.

When we come back full-screen Kacy has a tough time escaping the body scissors with a chinlock, but she counters with a cover for 1. Mandy delivers a reverse sidewalk slam then puts her back in the body scissors, Kacy fights out with elbows, lands on her feet, kicks her off and both side make the hot tags. Io takes down Dolin with shoulder blocks, a body slam, stomps a mudhole in her, but Gigi breaks free with a jackbreaker. Mandy tags in, Io hits shoulder blocks, a flapjack, a meteora, a cheap shot by Dolin, but Io still hits the DIVING MOONSAULT! The Tag Team Champs break the count, Kacy and Kayden throw them out the ring, Mandy grabs Shirai's leg and tags out, but Gigi misses an elbow drop.

Kayden gets the hot tag, clotheslines Dolin, hits a dropkick, trips Jayne into the ring, sends Dolin into her partner, 2-for-1 attack in the corner, rolls through for a sidekick, then hits a twisting flatliner! Jacy distracts Carter, Kacy wipes her out, and Io drops the women's champ. Gigi took this time to pull Carter off the turnbuckles, hits a rolling abdominal stretch bomb, and gets the 3-count! WINNERS: TOXIC ATTRACTION!

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Pete Dunne and asks him about Tony D'Angelo making comments about him. Dunne challenges D'Angelo to find him if he is trying to make a name for himself, then Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes show up to dispute his "baddest man in NXT" moniker. Trick Williams says, "Trick and Melo here in your face calling you a bum, your momma's a bobblehead, and your daddy's a bootlicker. If you wanna fight we could fight, we can strap with the boots and make the ring talk. And it don't matter, 'cause Trick and Melo is bout it bout it." Dunne has no idea what he just said. Dunne and Carmelo trade verbal shots at each other, and apparently these two will battle tonight.

Toxic Attraction are still at ringside, but here comes Kay Lee Ray walking right past them for her match next! After the commercial break, we get a video of MSK walking the streets, and when they get to their destination they address has moved. Seems like they're going to find a shaman, but they book a flight. No idea where this is going.

* Kay Lee Ray vs. Sarray

Sarray looks for a handshake, and KLR uses that for a quick attack and goes on early offense. Sarray comes back with a springboard armdrag, hits a double stomp, and kicks her in the arm. KLR gets back and goes on fire and sees red in her eeys as bright as her hair. Sarray tries to make a comeback even hitting a hip attack, but KLR hits a rolling DDT for a near-fall. Sarray ducks a couple of clotheslines, rolls her up for 2, and applies a deep half crab making Ray crawl to the ropes to break the hold. Sarray kicks her in the leg, delivers a fisherman's suplex for a near-fall, KLR blocks a suplex, superkicks her, Sarray hits a roundhouse kick, but misses the basement dropkick. Kay Lee Ray hits the KLR Bomb on top of the announce table, hits the KLR Bomb in the middle of the ring, and gets the victory. WINNER: KAY LEE RAY!

Backstage, Joe Gacy gets interviewed about his comments towards Boa, and he doesn't want Boa to hide behind a mask and feel ashamed. Gacy turns his attention to Harland and asks him to reach out to him, so tonight he's doing this match for them. Breaktime, and when we come back they promote WrestleMania for two nights in Dallas in 2022.

We get a video of Bron Breakker feeling excited after his first overseas trip with NXT, Raw and SmackDown superstars. He then vows to meet Tommaso Ciampa again in the ring to beat his ass.

* Joe Gacy vs. Boa

Gacy offers a handshake, Boa kicks it away, Gacy with a side headlock and tosses him over the ropes. Boa comes back with a sunset flip for 1, dropkicks him, and he's ready for a fight. Gacy drops him on the ropes, hits a backbreaker, gets a 1-count, delivers a suplex for 2, and twists his head. Boa throws him off, blocks his attacks, hard kick and knees to the chest, and delivers a double-arm suplex. The lights start to flicker, Boa gets in a trance, and choke Gacy on the ropes! Referee Aja Smith counts up to 5 when Boa wouldn't release him, and when the lights return to normal Boa is staring at his hand as he backs away. WINNER by DQ: JOE GACY.

We see Diamond Mine training with a video of Kushida and Jiro in a promo from last week. Malcolm Bivens speaks on the two as a comedy act, and says The Creed Brothers will finish them because "Diamond Mine is forever!" Breaktime.

After the break, Solo Sikoa was about to get interviewed but Grayson Waller interrupts him. Waller starts to instigate about LA Knight, but Knight shows up to complain. Sikoa speaks up and says that when in the streets you handle your business, so tonight three men will enter and only one walks out. Looks like a triple threat match later!

* The Creed Brothers vs. Jacket Time

Julius Creed's first move is a scoop slam that nearly drops Ikemen Jiro on his head. Brutus Creed tags in and slams him down to the back of his head. Jiro escapes his grasp, puts him in a headlock, hits shoulder blocks to no effect, and Kushida tags in to work on the left of of Brutus. Julius tags in, hits a powerslam, facelock suplex, Brutus tags in, Kushida hits a double handspring back elbow, and tags out. Jiro fights back with jacket strikes, Jacket Time both hit handspring kicks, and we take a commercial break.

When we come back, Kushida fights back, hits a running crossbody to Julius, Pele kick to Brutus, wind-up punch to Julius, soccer-kicks the arm, Jiro tags in, double hiptoss and cartwheels into double basement dropkicks. Jiro goes to the top rope, hits a senton bomb, Brutus breaks the count, Kushida dumps him out the ring, Julius ducks the enzuigiri, rips off Jiro's jacket, and the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong lowers the ropes on Jiro behind the ref's back. Jiro gets back in the ring where Julius was waiting to deliver gutwrench powerbomb for 3! WINNERS: THE CREED BROTHERS!

Odyssey Jones shows up to attack Roderick Strong! Jones, Kushida and Jiro hold the ring down while Diamond Mine scatter and leave the ring.

Toxic Attraction are in the parking lot leaving when an interviewer stops them, but they cut him off to gloat about their success and titles. "Toxic Attraction is the attraction." Mandy says that she isn't scared of Kay Lee Ray and she is not next in line. Raquel Gonzalez shows up on her motorcycle telling Mandy that she'll deal with her later and to keep the title warm for her. Raquel enters the arena and doesn't waste any time calling out Dakota Kai. "Get your ass out here ahorita mismo!" Dakota comes out laughing at Raquel saying that it felt good to hit her with the shovel. Suddenly Kai is attacked from behind, by Cora Jade! Dakota and Cora have to be separated by referees, and Raquel tells Cora that she wants a piece of Dakota first. Cora accepts this with mutual respect.

Andre Chase gives another lesson, this time on mental toughness. His student questions him on his mental toughness, another student speaks for him, and Chase kicks out the initial student. After besting Duke Hudson at his own poker game last week, Cameron Grimes will be in action next.

After the break, we see Grizzled Young Veterans working on a ploy to steal a stranger's phone to order food. The lesson is if they can distract a stranger then they can distract a referee.

* Cameron Grimes vs. Ru Feng

Grimes outwrestles Ru Feng and tells him to kiss his grits. Feng hits a roundhouse to the chest, puts him in the abdominal stretch, and out comes Duke Hudson to get a closer look. Grimes counters with a hiptoss, fights back with flying forearms, running boot to the chin, diving crossbody, sees Hudson at ringside, and goes to the moon with The Cave-In for the win. WINNER: CAMERON GRIMES!

Duke Hudson is in the ring, tells Grimes that he came into his poker room, played his chips, used his cards, but somehow Grimes won. "I need to know, was it dumb luck or did you dupe me?" Grimes says WHAT like the crowd was doing, and he reminds everyone that he beat Duke saying it was fun. Hudson: "That wasn't fun for me, you stupid little hick! I lost a lot of money because of you! But that will never happen again, mark my words. Never again will I lose to someone who looks like an ugly filthy rotten troll living under a bridge." Grimes: "What's with the name-calling, huh? First you call me easy money, then you sit here and you call me a hick. But that's OK because Cameron Grimes has been called a hick before. It may be because I'm a little hairy, it may be because I'm a little smelly, or it may just be because I'm a little grimy. But Cameron Grime holds it down. It doesn't matter if it's in this ring. It doesn't matter if it's at your poker table. And it doesn't matter if it's at Wall Street. Cameron Grimes holds it DOWN. Now, I may like to play dumb sometimes. But last week, I played you. Hahahaha." Hudson shouts at Grimes for being out-hustled, and challenges him for a Poker Showdown next week. Grimes accepts.

* Grayson Waller vs. LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa

Waller and Knight start bickering with each other, Sikoa strikes them both, Waller strikes back, Knight joins him, and they agree to work together agains the Samoan, but Sikoa fiercely clotheslines both of them. Sikoa hits a jumping headbutt, Waller punches him, Knight dumps Waller out the ring, Sikoa pulls Knight into the ring and goes to work with strikes. Waller dumps Knight out the ring, drops Sikoa on the top rope, Knight and Waller double suplex him, and they take turns punching him. Knight hits a jumping elbow drop, Waller hits his own jumping elbow drop, they take turns clotheslining him, Knight and Waller disagree with who's going to deliver a move, they both go for a superplex, but Sikoa just powerbombs them both down. Sikoa hits a big boot into Samoan drop, running hip attack to Waller, Knight hits Sikoa with a neckbreaker, Waller fights with Knight, superkicks Sikoa, but gets thrown out the ring. Knight takes Sikoa down, Waller hits a rolling stunner, Sikoa breaks the count, dumps him out the ring with a belly-to-belly throw, and hits the diving Samoan splash for the 1-2-3! WINNER: SOLO SIKOA!

Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta get interviewed and they were close to winning the tag titles at Halloween Havoc. Tony D'Angelo shows up saying Pete Dunne and Dexter Lumis have been ducking him. He gives Indi a dead fish indicating that her husband Dexter Lumis will end up sleeping with the fishes after next week. Legado Del Fantasma walk towards the ring, and Elektra Lopez says she hopes Xyon Quinn is watching.

After the break, we get a commercial for WWE Survivor Series one week from Sunday. After that we get a video of Tommaso Ciampa talking about being on the UK tour representing NXT, and brings up Bron Breakker's name giving him some credit.

* Elektra Lopez vs. Erica Yan

They lock up, Yan backs her to a corner, does an armdrag, Lopez blocks a second one, and clotheslines her. Elektra chokes her on the ropes, slaps her on the ear, suplex, floats over, hits a suplex bomb, and gets the win. WINNER: ELEKTRA LOPEZ!

Legado Del Fantasma step into the ring, and Elektra calls out Xyon Quinn to the ring. Elektra compliments Quinn and invites him to join the group. Xyon Quinn calls her amazing, looks at Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza, but says he can't get with Legado Del Fantasma. Wilde and Mendoza get upset with him, Quinn clotheslines them, uppercuts Wilde and tosses Mendoza out the ring. Elektra tries to slap him twice, but Xyon Quinn blocks it both times and spins her around, then lets her go as the mood heats up. Legado get back in the ring but Eletra holds them back. We get a commercial for WAR GAMES coming back to PPV on Sunday, December 5th!

After the break, Kyle O'Reilly gets interviewed and they mentioned that Von Wagner's foot was on the bottom rope when the ref made the call. O'Reilly accepts that the ref made a mistake, and decides to go for the tag team titles. Speaking of, the NXT Tag Team Champions Imperium show up to taunt him, but Wagner shows up and they walk off. Next week we will get a Poker Showdown, and also Dexter Lumis takes on Tony D'Angelo.

* Pete Dunne vs. Carmelo Hayes {NXT North American Champion}

Dunne strikes easrly on and even clotheslines Carmelo and stomps on the hand. Hayes fights back and hits a springboard clothesline followed by mounted punches. Hayes pushes him off, Dunne snaps at his hands, hits the X Plex on the apron, and Dexter Lumis shows up at commentary! Trick Williams is spooked as we take our final commercial break.

We get our final picture-in-picture as Dunne is in control. Dunne stomps on him, applies an armbar, and stomps on his head, Carmelo fights back but Dunne remains in control.

Hayes is caught in an armbar, but finally hits a jawbreaker and both men are down. Hayes covers for 2, drops him across his knee, clotheslines him, pumphandle slam, and Hayes gets a 2-count.
