Britt BakerSpeaking to In The Kliq, Britt Baker says there's no "Forbidden Door" any more: "Not to kind of turn the tides here, but unfortunately, WWE has been releasing so many talents that right now you don't even have to cross forbidden doors. There's just so many amazingly talented free agents right now, period. There's just so many right now that I would love to wrestle that I've never wrestled before. Toni Storm, definitely. Toni Storm, when you talk about top female wrestlers if she doesn't come to mind, then you're not watching. Because she's absolutely phenomenal, she's wrestled all over the world and I have never wrestled her. I would love to somehow, someway, someplace, lock up with her."

In this interview John Cena talks about all of the WWE releases over the last two years: "I remember when I started in WWE, I want to use the word fortunate. I was fortunate enough to be at the show in Atlanta where Stone Cold Steve Austin was fired. And that moment right there, it shot through me like a cannon. Because I got the impression 'if they can fire Stone Cold Steve Austin, unless your name is Vince McMahon, everyone is replaceable. I think a lot of the frustration from the audience out there is they view sports entertainment like I do. I love watching matches, I love seeing potential in human beings, I love seeing potential in performers. And I see potential in everybody, especially when people begin to defy what they woud call a gimmick or a personality. I love to be able to try to run on with it on conversations and see how far we can take it. But there is only so many spots, there is only so much programming. And I understand, from a business standpoint, the amount of releases that have had to happen, if the company justifies that 'hey, this is the move we're making. We want to carry less talent', it has very little to do with profit loss margin. I know obviously this a touchy subject and it's going to elicit perspective from everyone, and everyone is entitled to their perspective. I think the sad thing here is people who have this gift aren't being allowed to use it and people are out of a job. And that is the absolute saddest thing, that people no longer can work for a company they called home for a period of time. I feel for everybody who's had to go in that direction. But all of us, myself included, our journey will eventually have an end. And when you're in it sometimes, you don't always have that perspective. I personally, from my early days in the WWE, always had the perspective that it could be over tomorrow for any or all of us. Because if they can fire Steve Austin, there's no way I'm even close to his ability. And that means they can fire me. But that's just the culture I was brought up in. I was brought up in biannual cuts and it happened all the time. I think that WWE went through such a long period of not releasing anybody, and now they're kind of getting back into that rhythm again. And it's a really abrupt shift to someone who's not familiar with that. And my heart goes out to everybody who has to get that sad news, because that's a tough conversation to have."

The Briscoes and Adam Bomb have been added to WrestleCon 2022.

2:00 PM ET. Dustin Rhodes talks about doing the Canadian Destroyer with Sammy Guevara: "I don't understand why everybody is giving that such a big deal, we do it all the time, but to see a 52-year-old do that off the apron through a table is somewhat shocking to people. I was a little leery of it as we were looking at it during the day because of the angle and I'm stepping on the apron, the rope is behind me, and I don't want my feet to get caught because I have long ass legs. I was kind of worried about it, but then, we've done so many dangerous things in our career and in 33 years, I've done so much. I was like, 'You know, it's going to be fine.' The table was so angled and it was an awkward position because I'm so tall and I was terrified that my legs were going to be stuck and I was going to go straight down with my head through the table and I would break my neck or something stupid. It ended up being as perfect as possible. Everybody was protected and safe and no one got injured. It was an 'oh my God moment' and it was cool."

Big Swole is a fan of Jade Cargill: "She was there every single time that she was booked. From the moment that she set foot on AEW soil, she was there at training every week, before everybody else. So she was early. She showed up early, ready, and was one of the last ones to leave, because she wanted to learn something. She wanted to get in a ring with people. She wanted to feel it."

Tajiri will defend the MLW Middleweight Title against Myron Reed and a mystery opponent at Blood & Thunder.

Johnny Gargano says the NXT brand "needed a kick" but I think they need it more NOW than they ever did before becoming 2.0.

Corey Graves is "partially cleared" in WWE but it's not clear if that means he would be able to participate in the Royal Rumble. (FF)

Danhausen talks about meeting CM Punk: "It was like two Macho Mans coming together to form The Mega Powers. It was great. It was my first time meeting CM Punk. We ate Starbucks together, it was wonderful. We had catering together. We got to meet Fanhausens and there were lots of people taking pictures with Danhausen and CM Punk, which was pretty surreal for Danhausen. We also rode around on my scooter because I needed a scooter to get around that weekend."

Taya Valkyrie talks about her dream opponents: "I mean, I've wrestled Rey Mysterio in a tag match on Lucha Underground before. But I'd love to wrestle him one on one, that would be freaking amazing. I mean, come on, it's Rey. I think Shinsuke Nakamura would be so sick to have a match against. Like, Cesaro. Then if you want to go to the women in WWE it would be someone like Charlotte. Nattie, she's a fellow Canadian, she's from Calgary. That was just something I was really looking forward to doing."
