Francis Ngannou unified the heavyweight titles at UFC 270 last night, taking away Ciryl Gane's interim title on scorecards of 48-47 X2 and 49-46. It was also the last fight of his current UFC contract, although a "championship clause" could be enacted to extend it for one year. (WO)

Other noteworthy results from Anaheim last night -- Deiveson Figueiredo defeated Brandon Moreno 48-47 X3 to take the flyweight title (although many people feel Moreno won the fifth round and the fight). Michel Pereira beat Andre Fialho 29-28 X3. Said Nurmagomedov beat Tony Stamann via guillotine choke in R1. Michael Morales beat Trevin Giles by TKO in R1. Victor Henry beat Raoni Barcelos 30-27 X3 in his UFC debut. Jack Della Maddalena beat Pete Rodriguez by TKO in R1 in his PPV debut. Tony Gravely beat Saimon Oliveira 30-27 X3.
