Wed. #1 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Wednesday's latest wrestling news.

Shane McMahonAccording to Ringside News, Shane McMahon has been "quietly let go" by WWE. The run he was supposed to have between now and WrestleMania 38 has been scrapped and "there will be no more creative discussions about Shane McMahon" going forward. This all apparently stems from heat about the way he produced the men's Royal Rumble match, angering a lot of people involved with his plans, and openly/loudly criticizing Jamie Noble -- a well respected producer slash former wrestler. WWE has "moved on to other creative discussions" according to their report.

In this interview Doudrop talks about initially being paired with Eva Marie: "With evil Doudrop, as some people are calling it, which I love. I just feel like it's the opposite side of my personality. I think for me personally, I am either super bright and bubbly, or I am a little brat and crabby. So, it's kind of nice to let both sides of the real me come through."

Apollo Crews talks about working with Commander Azeez: "It's been good. It's nice to see him grow because he was thrown into a situation where a lot of people could have sank. He's doing very well and he's growing, and I love seeing it. He's also helped me, sometimes we get complacent, a lot of times we get complacent, so he's helped me leave that comfort zone again and challenged me to do new things, so it's great."

New WWE related videos are available below.

Here's what happened on 205 Live this week. (wInc)

* Brooks Jensen defeated Bodhi Hayward with a knee to the face.
* Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter defeated Fallon Henley and Lash Legend. Jensen and Josh Briggs watched the match from ringside.
* Kushida defeated Damon Kemp via submission with an armbar.

In this AEW Unrestricted interview Brandon Cutler talks about his face mask gimmick: "I think it was the second or third week that I was wearing it. I would see pictures of myself in it and be like, 'Well, this is a look.' Just being a bald white guy, it's so default. There's nothing to it. In wrestling, you have to have something else to make you look a little more like a star. That's why I started doing face paint when I was the dragon guy because it was kind of boring when I had nothing. When I switched over to the stooge, the face mask became like, 'Well, now that's my face.' I'm well past healed with the injury. It only took like three or four weeks to get cleared from it. I still get people asking me if I'm still injured. They say, 'How long does it take to get your face healed?' I'm like, 'It's been healed, guys. This is just my face now. This is what my face looks like.'"

The plan for this year's WWE HOF ceremony is to air it live on March 31st from 10:30 PM ET until midnight on Peacock. (PWI)

4:00 PM ET. Jade Cargill says she can bring in the casual AEW viewer: "I would say I'm still fairly new. Let's be real, 26 matches compared to my peers who've done 100-plus matches and have done this for years and years, I'm still new. I don't take criticism when people tell me I'm green. That's fine, that's great. For somebody that's so green and doing what I'm doing and put in the position I've been put in, that's like, thank you. I'm being compared to people who have been doing this for so many years. I'm green like money. I bring the money into the house. Regardless, if somebody's watching TV at 10 o'clock at night just flipping through the channels, let's be real, if they see my fine ass, they're going to stop. You know what they're going to do? They're going to see my Instagram handle. After every one of my matches, my followers go up. Every single time. Whether that's you looking at how fine I am, whether that's you seeing me kill it in a match, whatever it is, I'm bringing in the money. Even if people talk crap about me, good or bad, thank you. Keep bringing it. Keep me trending, I could care less. But, I'm fairly new. I'm still learning on the job. Every match there is something I'm learning that I never knew before. Like my first time using a chair, ever, I took that bad. Now if I ever have a chair in my hand from here on out, I know what to do. I've been put in some rough and tough situations but I thank Tony Khan for having the trust and belief in me because a lot of people wouldn't. At the end of the day, people are going to crap on me regardless because I am new and because, literally, I came out of nowhere. That's fine and I bring on the hate, but I'm still new."

Mike Mizanin seems to be doing a million interviews lately -- here's another one.

CM Punk talks about his return to pro wrestling: "It's a lot of work but it's rewarding work. I tried to tell myself I can't care as much as I used to because I just burn out. It's a big reason why I was gone for 7 years. It's hard to do what we do at this level without caring, so instead I've adapted the philosophy of just leaving everything at work so when I'm not there, I'm not there. So I'm spread very thin, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just when I'm at AEW, I'm there 100%. I'm so on that I need the days off that I have every Wednesday or Friday, things like that to recuperate. The problem is, I'm such an asshole, I have like four other jobs and I don't have time to decompress. So is it everything I thought it would be? It's that, times ten. My barometer of whether it's all worth it is I look forward to being on a plane. I hate leaving my dog, I hate leaving my wife but I get excited for road trips because it's one day and I get to do what I'm falling back in love with and I have fun with it. It's everything I thought it could be and more times ten, it's challenging but everything that's worth doing is hard so it's rewarding."

Matt Hardy on how he and Jeff feel about Michael Hayes: "He was our wrestling daddy, we learned so much from him that in some ways we were his kids. I almost do that same thing with Private Party. I joke with them all the time, them being my two oldest kids as opposed to my actual genetic family. Michael did that with us and we still oftentimes, when we talk to him, says 'Hey wrestling daddy, what's up man?' He was very proud, he was very proud of us and he knew we came a long way in a short amount of time."

To make a long story short Trevor Murdoch says Matt Cardona is an attention whore.

JONAH vs. Crazzy Steve has been added to this week's Impact Wrestling.

Here's an announcement from NJPW.

More Matches Join Hollywood Lineup 2/17! [NJoA]

Blake Christian vs Chris Bey, Team Filthy in Elimination warfare at the Vermont

Yet more matches have joined a stacked lineup at the Vermont Hollywood for NJPW STRONG's tapings on February 17. The four matches join the likes of Jay White's ongoing U-S-of-Jay Open Challenge, Gabriel Kidd vs Christopher Daniels, Ren Narita vs Buddy Matthews and much more.

After a year away, and having tested himself in WWE, IMPACT and PWG's Battle of Los Angeles, Blake Christian is back in NJPW STRONG, and taking on BULLET CLUB's Chris Bey at RIVALS. The Ultimate Finesser has continued to stir the pot on IMPACT in recent weeks, having facilitated the return of Jay White and the appearance of the Guerrillas of Destiny. At RIVALS though, he seeks to assert himself as the premiere junior heavyweight on STRONG opposite spectacular competition in ‘All Heart'.

Special 5 on 5 elimination warfare will see STRONG Openweight Champion Tom Lawlor lead Team Filthy against Fred Rosser's hand picked side of Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors, Adrian Quest and Taylor Rust. Lawlor is still STRONG Openweight Champion at time of publication, but the title could be in possession of Rust as New Beginning USA continues to air on STRONG. That will shift the power dynamics in thsi matchup no doubt, and the outcome of this ten man tag could definitely shape things to come on Saturday nights.

TJP will be taking on Brogan Finlay in Hollywood. The Public Enemy, and United Empire at large, has had a months long dispute with the LA Dojo of late, but TJP will be refocusing with a match against the currently unaffiliated younger Finlay tonight. Brogan will be seeking to make the most of his first singles opportunity in the cerulean blue; while he is an extreme underdog, can he rattle the veteran TJP in the Vermont?

Also at RIVALS, the Stray Dog Army will be in six man action as they take on the DKC and the returning Keita Murray and Fred Yehi. The Stray Dog Army has not forgotten nor forgiven The DKC for his victory over the group alongside Kevin Knight at Nemesis. They seek revenge on February 17, but DKC has recruited some impressive teammates, as the Savageweight Yehi and a man who impressed on his debut a couple of weeks ago in Keita Murray will bring the fight in spades.

Coincidentally Fightful says Juice Robinson's New Japan contract has expired.

Here's a new Sean Waltman interview plus one with Taya Valkyrie and one with Bobby Lashley.

5:00 PM ET. NXT rose from 593,000 to 619,000 viewers this week, but the 18-49 dropped from 0.14 to 0.13. (SBD)
