Mon. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Tuesday's latest wrestling news.

Steve Austin"Stone Cold" Steve Austin was pitched an idea by WWE during a time frame described as "late December to early January" about returning for WrestleMania 38. That much we know -- but after that it starts to get complicated. One source says that WWE wanted Austin to have one last match for the promotion i.e. "one big send off" that would help them sell out two nights in Dallas at AT&T, where they have a capacity of 100,000 plus seating (I know from experience being at WrestleMania 32) and obviously need a big attraction. (PWI) Other sources are less optimistic he would return to the ring even for a huge offer, and believe he may have "some physical role" at WrestleMania but it won't be in the form of a match. WWE has been asked about this and is "being coy" about his involvement. (FF) The thing that occurs to me about all of this is that if Austin were REALLY going to have a match at Mania, they would have started promoting this all the way back in that "December to January" time frame. You wouldn't start something of this magnitude in mid-February with less than two months until the event itself.

Raw highlights and new WWE related videos are below.

Oh and for whatever reason the intro of Raw has narration now. In addition here's the latest episode of AEW Dark Elevation along with any other AEW related videos.

Speaking of AEW, last week's Rampage did 549,000 viewers on TNT, up very slightly from 540K even the week before. The 18-49 was 250,000 viewers, down from 263,000 the week perior. (Wrestlenomics)

On the same night SmackDown did 2.231 million viewers, up from 2.151 million the week prior. The 18-49 demo rose from 0.51 to 0.56. (Wrestlenomics)

The NWA released a video of Matt Cardona beating Trevor Murdoch for the world title below.

Coincidentally here's what Mr. Cardona had to say about his big win: "It's an honor to hold the 10 pounds of gold. I definitely can't take anything away from Trevor Murdoch. I made a couple of jokes going into the match, but he's a tough son of a bitch, and when people see the match, they'll see he was busted open big time and he didn't quit. He earned my respect, but it wasn't his night, it was my night. The champ is still here, what can I say?"

Due to his work visa expiring Josh Alexander will miss TERMINUS II.

To the surprise of no one Billy Gunn thinks AEW's young roster doesn't listen to their elders enough: "Honestly, that's one of the things. We have Arn, Dean, Tully, Jerry, we have some of the greatest talent and minds that are in the business, and I feel like they don't take full advantage of it. I feel like they need to take more advantage of it. But sometimes I think that they are in their own heads, not that they know it all. But they kind of don't want someone to tell them to do differently from what their game plan is."

In this interview Santos Escobar talks about his Vengeance Day title shot against Bron Breakker: "ou know, I think things always come at the right time. I've been working a lot since I got here on NXT, of course the Cruiserweight division, of course unifying Cruiserweight titles last year at Stand and Deliver and from then on, just ready for this spot and this opportunity and I finally got it, and who better than a young, unexperienced talent Bron Breakker, who is by the way, very impressive, very strong, he's got a lot of potential, but in my eyes, he's not ready. He's not ready to carry on his shoulders the brand - I am. So I'm going to snatch the title from him this Tuesday and there's little to nothing he can do about it."

A new video from Major League Wrestling is below.

Speaking of MLW, MSL talks about whether or not they might return to pay per view: "I don't think there are any specific plans in that area. We're always looking at it and we try to be the value brand whenever we can. Fatu and Hammerstone, originally would have made sense as a pay per view, but we got an offer to put it on VICE and certainly, if the economics make sense to keep a match off pay per view, you always prefer to, if you can. It's not always possible. Kudos to VICE for stepping up and putting up what needed to be put up to make that match happen. Otherwise, it probably would have been on pay per view. Some of that stuff is tough to answer, you always want to avoid pay per view if you can. I'm not anti-pay per view, but if you can make the economics work to not have to resort to pay per view, you always try. So far, we've been able to keep most of our big matches off pay per view. That's not always going to be the case. Is there a pay per view this year? If we can get someone to put up the money to not have a pay per view, that's the goal."

The pre-sale code for the May 11th AEW Dynamite and Rampage taping in Long Island, NY is BELMONT. (PWI)

Athena (f/k/a Ember Moon) talks about being heckled at Warrior Wrestling 19: "We have to talk about the asshole fan. No one knows what he said, but me, and I feel some type of way about it. I don't know if you guys could hear it. We have to talk about this crazy fan. It's been six or seven years since I've been on the Indies. When I first started out, I wrestled for XCW and they called me one of the worst nicknames I've ever been called since I was a bad guy. They used to call me, 'chick with a dick.' That's what the fans heckled me as. I was an 18-year-old and buff, way more buff because I played soccer all the time. It was weird hearing the backlash of someone making fun of me. I've been called everything in the book. I'm from Texas. The only thing I really have a problem with is the N-word. That was the first thing I was called and because I was 18, 'oh, I'm over with the crowd.' Now, probably not the best thing for people to say because the world has changed and we've gotten more PC and we're more understanding of people's feelings. This is what happened; we were in the match and someone said I had a bad weave. That's what happened. Apparently, there were others, there was someone else that called us 'putas,' or whatever. They said I had a bad weave, or at least this is what I heard. If there is something more than this, mind you, Rosa and I talked after, this is what she was complaining about. You have to come at me a lot harder for me to be upset, especially when my weave probably costs more than what you make in a week. I wasn't really bothered or affected because I don't care. I wasn't offended, but I'm not the type of person to let things get to them. I worked for WWE. I'm used to being fat-shamed, called a talentless hack, every name under the sun, being called a 'race traitor' for marrying my lovely husband. I have been called everything known to man. So you saying my hair doesn't look good, doesn't bother me whatsoever."

Our condolences to the friends and family of Mickie Henson, known professionally in WCW and WWE as referee Mickie Jay, on his passing from COVID-19 related pneumonia at only 59 years old. (PWI)

Here's what happened on Main Event last night: Tommaso Ciampa defeated T-BAR, and Veer Mahaan defeated Apollo Crews. (wInc)

Speaking of Ciampa, he and Dolph Ziggler had an altercation on last night's Raw. Maybe Ciampa is moving up full time? Nah. It's more likely Ziggler is sticking around NXT 2.0 for a while.
