Cody RhodesCody Rhodes and Tony Khan have an agreement between themselves to not discuss what led to Cody's departure from AEW beyond the public statements the two already released -- the ones where they thanked each other for their time together and wished each other nothing but the best. Whatever the reasons are (people have speculated everything from money to creative control to booking power) it's unlikely we'll never know. They both seem to be satisfied to leave it out of the public eye and not burn bridges in case they decide to work together again in the future. (WO)

Due to Josh Alexander having to withdraw from his U.S. dates due to his work visa expiring, Chris Sabin is replacing him at TERMINUS II.

In this interview Kairi Sane (Hojo) says she still has a good relationship with WWE: "I'm just grateful that the relationship is so good, or that it's been much better. Even after returning to Japan, I think it was unusual for me to prepare a special position."

More AEW Dynamite highlights and AEW related videos can be found below.

New WWE related videos are available below.

Buddy Matthews (f/k/a Buddy Murphy) is being teased as the newest member of the House of Black, joining Malakai Black and Brody King in the AEW stable, and it appears that is the plan going forward. (WO)

To make a long story short Jim Ross says his current AEW deal expires in April -- but he's not looking to go anywhere else.

After 29 years with WWE on their Spanish announce team, Carlos Cabrera has been released from his contract. There's no word on why at this time.

Sadly Maki Itoh has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the next two shows she's scheduled for. All the best to her to hopefully make a full recovery.

MLW has announced The Von Erichs vs. Ricky and Kerry Morton for MLW Superfight on February 26th.

Billy Gunn has more advice for younger talent: "Back down on half of the stuff that they do. That, for me, is the biggest thing. There's a time and a place to crack out all of your stuff. But I feel that they're so young, they do not realize that their bodies are not going to be able to take this. So, they literally go out there, and it's not that they're working hard. They feel like if they don't do all their stuff, they're not working hard. That's not the case."

4:00 PM ET. Tony Khan got "a big hug" from the Best Friends after Dynamite went off the air last night.

D-Von Dudley had spinal surgery this week and was told he'll never wrestle again. "They had to fuse L4, L5 and L6. The damage was a lot worse than they thought. The surgery took longer than they anticipated. But God is good and he the DOCTOR said I am a new man. I can run, I can jump, I can beat my son Preston in basketball on the basketball court. LOL and racing him down the street lol, he thinks he can beat the old man. They also had to shift my spine a little bit with a curve. Because it was a straight line. That was because of all the wrestling. Then again, all of it was because of wrestling. They put the bolts screws and a plates in my back. They had to go up higher in my back they told me. I was told I could not wrestle anymore because if I do I could do more damage to my back I would have to have surgery again on the upper part. That's OK I didn't have plans ongoing back in there anyway. I would be in the hospital From Tuesday to Friday from My understanding. Unless it changes. Again, thank you for all the well wishes and love. God is a great all the time." Our best wishes to him on his good health going forward.

EC3 and Adam Scherr (f/k/a Braun Strowman) have launched the Control Your Narrative promotion. "At CYN there is no corporate hierarchy. There are no deep-pocketed investors wanting to use the sport simply to profit. There are no contracts, or political agendas. There is only passion to create with the platform for a talent to become who they are supposed to be."

WWE has named Fiterman Sports as their official autograph partner. "The agreement is effective immediately and will include autograph signing sessions featuring WWE Superstars, Legends and Hall of Famers. Fiterman Sports Group and WWE have previously collaborated on signing events highlighted by WWE Legend The Undertaker, Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch." (WWE)

Here's a UWN press release.

(Hollywood, CA) – Since the 1940s, "Championship Wrestling" has been a popular television show title. It has been used by scores of regional and national pro wrestling promotions, including the WWF (today's WWE) in the '70s and '80s.

In 2010, the United Wrestling Network (UWN) launched "Championship Wrestling from Hollywood" on KDOC-TV in Los Angeles. Over the past 12 years, the company has established scores of regional television promotions using the moniker, most recently in Atlanta, GA. Today, the UWN is eager to announce the national consolidation of the Hollywood, Arizona, and Atlanta broadcasts to create the all-new "Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield."

"I've learned so much over my 30 years in pro wrestling. The reason for the consolidation is simple. We're creating one broadcast. It's not that three separate television shows weren't working. In fact they've all be great successes but making one weekly show will allow us to pull all our resources – most importantly money! Our goal is to showcase the very best talent available, while adding to our already awesome production value." said David Marquez, President and CEO of David Marquez Productions/United Wrestling Network.

"I'm looking forward to March 22nd. It's our first television event of the year and I'm happy that we'll be shooting it at the Irvine Improv in Irvine, CA. In 2019, we presented David Arquette Vs. "Pretty" Peter Avalon at this venue, and it was just amazing!" Marquez continued. Full card and ticket information will be available next week.

"Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield" can be seen weekly on over 200 television, cable, satellite, and OTT outlets across North America. The following are the current United Wrestling Network Champions:

World Champion "Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson

World Tag-Team Champions Midnight Heat

World Television Champion Papo Esco

Heritage Champion Jordan Cruz

"We are excited about the new direction and the future of 'Championship Wrestling.' We're actively creating storytelling opportunities for the talent that we employ and are scouting locations to take the show on the road. We've always been an international promotion and as much as we love working out of some of our regular venues, we know it's important to shoot in cities where the program is popular. So, keep an eye out, because we may be coming to your town soon!" states Jeramie McPeek, Marketing Director for the United Wrestling Network.

Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) was at Dynamite last night.

5:00 PM ET. Brock Lesnar claims the Royal Rumble hotel incident with Wee Man wasn't staged: "That was not staged at all. Like, I flew in town and before the Royal Rumble. I got a private room and I come walking through the restaurant at the hotel and I'm - like, I just scurried through people. Like, I just want to get in and go hide in my hole and eat my steak. Leave me alone. So I'm like, my buddy goes, 'Jackass crew is out there.' And I'm like, 'Really?' We walk by them. Yeah, okay. Then all of a sudden, I sent the waiter out, I sent a nice bottle of wine. So then, next thing I know, Knoxville comes into the back room, breaks my fucking door down. Yeah, broke my door, the door on the private room. And I'm like, 'Okay, well'. So I come walking out and then I guess, in the midst of all this, they were setting themselves on fire out in the, in the restaurant. I didn't know that at the time. So, I'm just coming. I'm like, going to go home and go to bed. I'm walking out and Wee Man stands up and like, peacocks me a little bit. Yeah, he's like - and I just picked him up and I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm gonna put you down right here.' None of it was a promo, none of it was staged. Nothing. It just turned out to be really fun. Good for business."

Wardlow gives a kayfabe explanation of his MJF contract: "Essentially, when AEW started, Max just reached out to me, and basically, long story short was, 'Hey, I'm about to make a lot of enemies, and I need somebody to watch my back.' He wrote up a contract, and he said, essentially, he would hire me to, basically, be his bodyguard, or take care of business for him. I agreed to do so. Now, after a couple of years, I don't think there are too many people that have a tremendous relationship with their boss, and just like any normal job, your boss can get on your nerves and we've seen many examples of this. So for now, he signs my paychecks, I'm still under contract with him, and we'll just see what the future holds."

Big Swole has more to say about Tony Khan: "On my end, I feel like we have gone past the point where it was acceptable for (Tony) to give me or send out an apology or a retracement or even just, 'Hey, I'm sorry that you're experiencing all this crap.' You know, it's at a point where I'm like, well, I've said my prayers. I've pretty much almost given up on it in a sense because I don't want anything like this having power over me. Being worried about, 'Oh, is he gonna apologize? Is he gonna apologize?' He can apologize whenever he wants to or even if he feels the need to. I'm just at the point where you have my number, you still follow me on all social medias, you could've been reached out. There's avenues, there's streets, there's boulevards, there's hovels, there's lanes, there's courts. {*laughing*} There's even forbidden doors because I'm like, you know, people that are close and dear to you are reaching out to me and you know, seeing this so I know you're seeing this."
