Ronda RouseyOn a recent Facebook livestream, Ronda Rousey says judo took more of a toll on her body than pro wrestling: "Judo's definitely the hardest on my joints (more) than MMA or pro wrestling. I was about ready to retire from Judo just because of how bad it was on my knees when I was like in my early 20's. But, what's it called? No, I was surprised. Even at the Royal Rumble, I wasn't even breathing hard at the end of it and in the match the other day, I wasn't even, yeah. I'm an athlete, you know? So I'm not talking about breathing hard. I wasn't feeling like I was - I couldn't catch my breath or something like that. So no, I feel great and I haven't been that sore yet, but I got a bunch of live shows coming up. I'm doing SmackDown this Friday and then I'm doing a live show, I think there's one in Rochester and one in like Ohio, right? I think like the actual SmackDown is in Pennsylvania. It's something like Pennsylvania, Ohio, I'm gonna do three shows in a row. I don't have a match on SmackDown but I'll be doing a match the next two nights in - on the live shows and then the next week, after SmackDown, I'm doing two live shows. I'm doing MSG in New York and then I'm going to Montreal."

In this interview Renee Paquette says she misses pro wrestling: "I've been really busy, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to the opportunity of working with another wrestling company. It just depends on what the situation was, who it was; you know, I love wrestling. It's one of those things that I always want to be around in; I miss it. I really do miss it. I get to go to the shows with Jon sometimes, and it really makes me miss it. Just like being around the ring and being around all the wrestlers, it definitely kind of strikes that chord with me. I've been gone from the WWE for about a year and a half now. In that time, you know, I've had a baby, I've moved. There is so much going on that I'm busy with the podcast. I've got a Sirius XM show as well, working with the NHL network."

On a recent podcast Jake "The Snake" Roberts says he once intentionally injured an opponent (and he's not proud of it): "I had an incident where a guy was giving me a clothesline every night and it was freaking ripping my head off, and I was recovering from having neck surgery. And in wrestling, you can make it look like you tore the guy's head off or you can tear the guy's head off. And of course, making it look like it is much better because then the guy can sell it properly. When you tear somebody's head off, there's no selling it, man. You get what you got. And I went to the guy and called him out, you know, 'Hey dude, you're killing me. What the hell?' And he looked at me and said, 'Well maybe it's time you get out of the ring'. So the next time we wrestled, he clotheslined me and I did a little maneuver and snapped his bicep in half with intent. And when he went down, he was grabbing his arm, the bicep rolled up on his shoulder, it looked pretty awesome. And he's screaming to ring the bell and I jumped on top of him and grabbed bicep and just started squeezing, and I was pissed. And I told him maybe it was time for him to get out of the damn ring. Not proud of it. I do need to apologize to him, face him, I'm not gonna call his name out. We all know him. But he did what he did, and I did what I did, and he had six months off."

Via social media Gabriel Kidd announced he'll be taking some time off from pro wrestling: "This isn't a wrestling promo. I am not well and will be taking time off because after 13 years of dedicating my life and putting wrestling first I need a rest. Thank you to my family and closest friends for giving me the wake up call I've needed for a while. I'll be back."

Here's a new Dax Harwood interview and one from Bryan Danielson.

Santino Marella hopes Cody Rhodes is returning to WWE: "When Cody was in WWE, he wasn't a top guy, but now that he did all this stuff and came back, he could be a top guy now. It wouldn't be so farfetched to see him versus Seth Rollins or versus Roman Reigns and stuff like that. Really be at the top of the game. How long that's going to last, I don't know, but I think if he showed up, it would be very newsworthy."

Tony Schiavone was shocked that Cody left AEW: "10, absolutely a 10 because Cody Rhodes was really, to me, one of the faces of AEW. Obviously, he was, and as we know, Cody was the one who got me in touch with Tony Khan after Conrad Thompson got me in touch with Cody and that's why I signed. Of course, I'm very close to the family, we went on many bus rides together to Jacksonville. I consider him and Brandi friends and I think we're a better organization today because of him. I'd like to wish them both the best for what they've done for me and they played a major role in what AEW was and is."
