Wed. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Thursday's latest wrestling news.

In this interview Bryan Danielson talks about what he'd like to do when he retires from pro wrestling: "I don't know. Because it's really hard for me to imagine being around wrestling and not wrestling. I think one of the things that I do like - I like doing the training. How to make people better, and all that stuff. But for me, the trade-off is the travel. If I was just training or I was just helping people get better at wrestling, would I really wanna do the travel? Because the travel is what I feel like the work is, right? Getting on the plane, being away from my kids, being away from my wife - that's the work. The wrestling is never the work, the training people is never the work. So, if I wasn't doing the part that brings me the absolute most joy - which is in the Bryan Danielsonring - would the work be worth it? That's what I don't know. When I was forced to retire and before they had me come in and be the GM, I was just focused on getting away from wrestling entirely because it hurt too much to be around it. I don't know if it was a voluntary decision if that would be the same way. But I'm also interested in so many different things. It's like, I feel like I could live a thousand different lives and never run out of things to be interested in. When people tell me that they're bored, I just go, 'How is that possible?!' So, my daughter loves dinosaurs, right. I'm trying to learn more about dinosaurs so that I can teach her about dinosaurs. It's endlessly fascinating, and there's so much new stuff. There's this book called the Rise and Fall of Dinosaurs that I read that was just blew my mind and all the things we don't know. I could have easily seen myself being a paleontologist, going round the world looking for dinosaur bones.' I don't know that when I'm done wrestling if it would be just... do I wanna keep doing wrestling, or do I wanna pursue the 10 zillion things that are interesting on planet earth in this one life that I have to live?"

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T analyzed Keith Lee's promos and offered his thoughts: "Keith Lee was a guy that was very different. Especially a big guy playing that beastly role, but he seemed more like a guy that could sing opera, a guy that was very, very intelligent. He always spoke very well, he didn't speak any broken English or anything like that like you would normally see from a brother from the hood. Kind of like myself. He was always on top of his game. He thought people may have looked at him a certain way because of that. Keith Lee was different, as far as cutting a promo, and then in the ring, he was this guy that you're supposed to look at like he was a monster. It is hard to separate the two. Say, for instance, seeing Keith Lee mad and still talking like that. It's not going to appeal to you. As opposed to a big guy like that being ticked off and really letting you know, 'Bro, you're about to get hurt.' It's almost like me talking as King Booker and then something would tick me off and I would be talking like Booker T. That's what I mean. It just didn't give me that raw feel that Keith Lee was going to go out there and rip somebody like a rag doll from listening to him cut a promo. I understand, I get it. But I don't know about the locker room, or if guys looked at him differently, or anything like that. I would think from an entertainer's perspective, as a wrestler's perspective, if I was directing him, I would say, 'Hey man, I'm going to need you to get a little bit more dirt on you. Especially when you're going to go out there and whoop somebody's ass. I need you to talk like you're actually going to do it.' You know what I mean? Maybe change your cadence up a little, You may talk like this idea at times. But at times you might want to, like I did, change it up a little bit."

Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling have purchased Ring of Honor. (AEW)

TONY KHAN ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE RING OF HONOR

Video Library, Brand Assets, Intellectual Property from Independent Professional Wrestling's Most Prestigious Promotion Purchased Under New Partnership with Tony Khan

Moments ago on AEW: Dynamite live on TBS, it was announced that Tony Khan has agreed to acquire the assets of Ring of Honor Wrestling Entertainment, LLC from Sinclair Broadcast Group, including the promotion's extensive video library dating back to 2002, brand assets, intellectual property, production equipment and more.

Known widely as the independent promotion that birthed some of wrestling's biggest stars of today, including AEW's CM Punk and Bryan Danielson, and highlighted dozens of members of the AEW roster, Ring of Honor's purchase signifies a new chapter in the future of professional wrestling as AEW's meteoric rise continues to draw the youngest-skewing wrestling audience on television.

"Ring of Honor's influence on modern professional wrestling is etched permanently in the history books, and this acquisition ensures that its legacy will be kept alive and treated with the utmost respect," said Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, Chief Football Strategy Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars and GM/Sporting Director of Fulham F.C. "This deal adds thousands of hours of content to our rapidly growing library and creates new opportunities to expand our footprint on a national and global scale, while having the potential to produce new content under the ROH banner. I will immediately begin exploring opportunities to make ROH's video library available to fans, who'll have the opportunity to witness the beginnings of the careers of some of AEW's biggest stars."

More than 40 members of the AEW roster have appeared in Ring of Honor during their careers. The promotion launched the careers of numerous AEW superstars, including CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Hangman Page, Dr. Britt Baker and Adam Cole. Additional members of the AEW roster have made their mark in ROH, including the late Brodie Lee, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, ReDragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly), Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent? Beretta), Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, Mercedes Martinez, Serena Deeb, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, Keith Lee, Eddie Kingston, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, QT Marshall, Danhausen, Lance Archer, Griff Garrison, Thunder Rosa, Wheeler Yuta, Luchasaurus, Orange Cassidy, Ethan Page, Austin Gunn, PAC, Kip Sabian, Jon Moxley, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Jerry Lynn, BJ Whitmer and Sonjay Dutt.

"Ring of Honor has produced some of the best professional wrestlers over the past 20 years, but more importantly, it created a family. I will be forever grateful to everyone in the ROH family who has worked tirelessly for the past two decades to take ROH to levels previously unimagined," said Joe Koff, Chief Operating Officer, Ring of Honor Wrestling. "Tony has the utmost appreciation and respect for Ring of Honor, and I'm truly excited to see how he continues the legacy."

If you missed it here's a video of Tony's announcement on Dynamite.

In addition Ian Riccaboni announced there will be ROH taping at 2300 (ECW) Arena on April 10th.

The Miz talks about training Logan Paul: "Training is going really well, actually. It's interesting because I was showing him my move and my move isn't the easiest move to do. If I just go up to someone, I can't just show them and they get it right away. It takes awhile, it takes time to get it correctly. Logan, I showed it to him once, literally picked it up like that. I was like, 'Oh, okay, this is going to be fun.' The boxing training, he's an amateur wrestler in Ohio, he's very athletic and he's picking up everything really quickly. I'm training him. I'm getting him ready. If you're going to WrestleMania, it's the biggest event WWE has. I want to make sure he's aptly prepared and he's willing to be prepared. He's willing to put in the work, the effort, it's been a blast. He's an absolute natural. After WrestleMania, I think people are going to be like, 'this guy can go full time if he wants."

Rene Dupree says Vince McMahon freaked him out: "WrestleMania 20, I think we had a four-way tag match, right? And that week there, I was in the gym twice a day. I would go because we stayed at the Marriott, I think. They always have badass hotel gyms. So I wake up, 5:00 AM every morning, write my name, do my cardio every morning, right? So that week there, I was looking fucking (good), go watch. I mean, I always look good, but I mean I was extra good that week, right? As I'm getting ready for the match, right, I've got my baby oil on and I'm pumping up. Vince is staring at me and this freaked me the fuck out. 'Ah yeah, he's gonna puke.' I was like 'okay dude, I'm into bodybuilding too, but you're really into bodybuilding.' Kind of freaked me out, the way he was staring at me, right?"

AJ Francis says he'd still come back to do WWE's Most Wanted Treasures if asked: "Absolutely. I would definitely do the show. I loved doing the show. The only beef I had with the show is we started in July and I was told it would be done in November and it wasn't done until March. That was the only thing I had a problem with the show. They didn't offer to pay me more money, they just said, 'we have to finish the show.' I would need a more clear cut schedule. I would absolutely do the show. I love doing the show. I don't know if they want me to do the show. Clearly, I was a good part of it and a good thread that told the story of the show, that was intentional and the direction from the director and how they edited it together. That was the whole point of my existence on the show. They can do it with somebody else if they want to. Will they be as good? I don't know. I don't think so, but they are more than welcome to try. If they called me back and said, 'Hey...' I'm signed for multiple seasons."
