EdgeDuring a recent signing Jake Atlas detailed a talk given by Edge to the NXT roster about mental health: "During COVID, he came and spoke to us for a few hours where we all sat down and we got to learn from Adam Copeland. He was very adamant that during that whole speech, that we addressed him as such, and I really took a lot out of him. Because he didn't really talk much, he did talk about wrestling, obviously, that's what he made his career in. But he talked more about the mental health side of what we do and that to me was just, at a time when I was confused, wanted out by any means necessary, and was just having a miserable time. And just hearing him speak about how important it is to have something out of wrestling, and have something out of it. You know, at the time I was with WWE, having something outside of WWE, that you're not always talking about WWE. You're not always talking about wrestling and having something that is for you. He would always speak about every time he introduces himself he's like, 'I'm Edge,' sorry, 'I'm Adam'. And just that kind of distinction was just so powerful coming from him. And he said, 'I was in a dark place when I just mixed the two together. The second I separated, I was like 'this is who I am' was just a beautiful thing.' That was the one thing I most remember, and he gave us all his number, and I said, 'Text me with any critiques on matches.'"

A new episode of NWA USA is below.

Here Charlotte Flair talks about her current title reign: "For me, I think I would've liked to have more title defenses on pay-per-views, but under certain circumstances... It was cool being champion going into the Royal Rumble because that's never happened before. Having that match with Naomi, I've been waiting for that match for five years now and we were finally able to have it on SmackDown last month. I thought that was incredible. It's so cliche, but that was only a taste of what we can do. It was only one match. That was special for me. With Survivor Series, all I can say is that number one doesn't talk about number two, but it was fun to revisit that bitter best friend."

In this interview Jonathan Gresham says he thought COVID-19 would end his career: "Yes. I try to stay optimistic. I'm a pessimist from the start, but when it hit I was financially in a pretty good situation but I was more concerned about my comrades, guys that were coming up and on pay-per-appearance with Ring of Honor. So, I was really thinking about them. ROH did a really good job of keeping us on payroll the entire pandemic, so I was concerned but I was also thinking, 'Okay, I'm going to jump to what next?' I spent my entire adult life becoming a professional wrestler, so there was really nothing else I could really use that knowledge for, so that was kind of scary. But yeah, I thought it was over for me. But I was just going to ride the wave of the contract. Money was still coming in and hope for the best."

In this interview Kidd Bandit talks about their gimmick: "It might come off as naive, but I like to believe that good always triumphs over evil and I think that's what makes anime great, Shonen anime, specifically. Because if you look at the plots of Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, My Hero Academia. These coming-of-age young adult animes, it's always about someone from meager means overcoming so many obstacles to save the world, more or less. It's funny because that relates to so many people. The 'I'm nobody, and I can become somebody and save the world in the process.' That's the basic JRPG plot, right? You're playing a game, you live in some minor village, suddenly something happens and then you end up with the magic sword from a cave or something. It's a tale that's been told multiple times. That's what wrestling does. If you think about it, the greatest wrestling storylines have that pay off of good beating evil. As naïve as it sounds, I like that. Yeah, I've gone through hardships in life that made me kind of jaded about certain things, but I like to think that good winning over evil, or good beating bad, that still holds weight to people struggling with things."

Kurt Angle talks about his WrestleMania 19 match with Brock Lesnar: "The whole reason why I helped Brock up and tried to assist him to win the match is that my neck was broken and I couldn't carry the title any longer. I was going to have surgery the next day. So I was in a position where Brock might have broken his neck, he got knocked out, I didn't know what to do because I couldn't hold the title another night. I had to basically wake him up and get him moving and see if he was OK and make sure that he could complete the move. It was very stressful. Those 15 seconds were one of the most stressful situations that I've ever been in. But Brock being the beast that he is followed through, hit the F5 and he won the world championship."

Johnny Knoxville says he'll have "something special" for Sami Zayn at WrestleMania.
