Cain VelasquezESPN reports that former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE wrestler Cain Velasquez was denied bail for a second time yesterday. Presiding judge Shelyna Brown previously denied him bail on March 7. In case you missed it Velasquez has been in prison since February 28th after he chased down Harry Eugene Goularte with his car and fired multiple shots into it, with one hitting Goularte's stepfather Paul Bender, who suffered non life-threatening injuries. Goularte allegedly assaulted a minor related to Velasquez which is how the whole mess got started in the first place. While I sympathize with Velasquez' anger over what Goularte allegedly did, I also think the judge describing Velasquez as showing "reckless disregard" for innocent bystanders with his actions is spot on. The irony is Velasquez has two children who are now left with a father behind bars while the (alleged) predator he shot at is walking around free. That may be the most reckless part of all.

Raw highlights and new WWE related videos are available below.

In this interview Damian Priest talks about working with Edge: "It's funny, since my time in NXT, Edge and I have had conversations about getting together and doing some business together. We have a lot of similarities and I have been very open about how many people and idols I look up to and Edge is clearly one of them. Everything has to do with timing. I kept pushing through. Every time we speak I would say, hey by the way, if you ever want to do stuff. I text him all the time for advice or call him and he is very cool for me to throw ideas at him and give me his opinion. Finally, we came to a spot where I did not know what direction I was going to go and he was open to new ideas. He said maybe I'll reform another group or team up with somebody and he said to me, what do you think, do you want to pair up? HE asked ME. That's how it went down. He came up to me and said 'Would you be interested in this?' I said, 'Absolutely, why are you asking me, this is totally what we are doing.'"

In this interview Powerhouse Hobbs says he wants to be AEW's first African American world champion: "Eventually, I will be TNT Champion. A personal goal of mine is to be the first African American AEW World Champion. Any title I get, I'm gonna - I know how to fight and I know what it's like to starve and struggle. Any title I get, it's gonna be hell for anybody to take that away from me. But I plan on being a big name and being around for a long time. That's always been my goal, ever since I became a professional wrestler. I want people to remember me."

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Cody Rhodes says WWE will start selling temporary tattoos like the one on his neck: "Vince hasn't said anything about the tattoo. I've been waiting for some of these guys who knew me back in the day to say something, specifically Bruce and Michael Hayes. Even Randy hasn't said anything, and that was a shock to me because I wasn't a tattoo guy and he was covered. But it's a good thing to have. Temporary tattoos are going to be released by WWE Shop, and people now see it as an extension of me. That's what it is. When I was here before, everyone tried to tell me who I was. That wasn't a bad thing - I was searching, too. Now I'm reaching my final form. That's why I am sticking to my guns about my character, keeping it as close as possible to who I am. But I'll promise you this - I'm not getting another one."

Last week's Rampage did a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo with 340,000 viewers, up 9.1% and 16.4% from a 0.11 and 292,000 the week before. The show aired at 5:30 PM ET due to the NHL Playoffs. SmackDown later that evening on FOX did a 0.40 and 1.893 million viewers, down 13.0% and 5.3% from the previous week's 0.46 and 1.998 million. (Wrestlenomics)

Zachary Wentz f/k/a Nash Carter has apologized for the photo that got him fired from WWE: "A statement by Zachary Green. No words can truly describe how ashamed and apologetic I am for my conduct in the photograph. There is no excuse for such behavior and I take full responsibility for my actions and ask for forgiveness. This picture was taken in 2015, a time where I was uneducated on the topic and therefore didn't understand the magnitude of how hurtful it was. In 2020 someone was trying to extort me by threatening to post it on social media. I sent it to my wife to discuss the situation. Apparently, she kept it and then decided in retaliation for the filing of the divorce to post it to social media. Regardless how the photograph came to light, there is still no excuse for my actions. Over the past month I have taken time to reflect on my conduct to which I express my utmost remorse and regret. I have spent time off social media to refresh and re-educate myself about of the horrors of the Holocaust. I truly do hope that this situation will teach and bring awareness to the horrific tragedy that took place so that something like this will never happen again. I can assure you that this is not who I am or what I represent as a human being, and I feel it is never too late to educate and better yourself. If you are ever in the Orlando/Maitland area, take some time to visit the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida where you can learn about the history and depth of what took place. It was an incredibly eye-opening, and impactful experience that teaches the importance of this history."

AGT: Extreme (America's Got Talent) featuring Nikki Bella is off the NBC schedule and hasn't been renewed for another season.

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on Raw last night after Banks took issue with the creative direction for the main event, where Naomi was apparently scheduled to win a six-pack challenge to become Bianca Belair's next challenger. The show was hastily rewritten as a result. (PWI)

In response to them walking out WWE issued the following statement.

When Sasha Banks and Naomi arrived at the arena this afternoon, they were informed of their participation in the main event of tonight's Monday Night Raw. During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis' office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out.

Sasha BanksThey claimed they weren't respected enough as tag team champions. And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents - even though they'd had matches with those individuals in the past with no consequence.

Monday Night Raw is a scripted live TV show, whose characters are expected to perform the requirements of their contract. We regret we were unable to deliver, as advertised, tonight's main event.

In case you were wondering what happened in the replacement main event, Asuka beat Becky Lynch to punch her ticket to Hell in a Cell. Becky tried to use Asuka's umbrella as a weapon while the referee was distracted, but Asuka beat her to the punch by blowing green mist in her face and pinning her while she was blinded. The champ Bianca Belair watched from ringside and was pleased given the disrespect Bex had shown her earlier. Bex even threw Asuka into Bianca trying to cause a DQ that would make her the winner. In this interview Kevin Owens talks about Triple H: "I wouldn't be here without him. That's all that comes to it. When you say full stop, that is it. Nobody has done more for me than Triple H in my career. I think I echo what everyone has said; it's very unfortunate in the way he didn't get to retire in the ring, but he made the right decision for himself and his family. So that's the right decision, it's a good decision. Selfishly, I wish I would've had the chance to wrestle him and he and I talked about that before. I think we both assumed that eventually, it was going to happen. It won't be able to happen but in the grand scheme of things, who cares, ya know?"

In the aftermath of Raw two matches are now official for Hell in a Cell. (WWE)
