WWE NXT: In Your House 2022 Live Recap - Two New Champions!

WWE is once again IN YOUR HOUSE! It's no longer a TakeOver, but NXT is back to host In Your House as a premium live event. Bron Breakker will defend the NXT Championship against Joe Gacy, and if the champ is disqualified then he loses his title. Wendy Choo challenges Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Title, Katana & Kayden challenge Toxic Attraction for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles, Cameron Grimes defends the North American Championship against Carmelo Hayes, plus much more! Join us for a live recap of NXT: In Your House tonight starting at 8 PM ET on Peacock and the WWE Network, and continuing through the entire broadcast. * 6-Man Tag Match: Legado del Fantasma vs. Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan

The winners will get to employ the losers of the match. All six men stare each other down as the crowd loudly chants "Legado" before the bell. Joaquin Wilde and Two Dimes start the match for their respective teams. Santos Escobar and Tony D'Angelo have not taken their eyes off of one another. Wilde gets a pop-up dropkick on Two Dimes, so Cruz Del Toro and Stacks tag in, meanwhile the patriarchs of the groups are still glaring at each other. Del Toro hits a shoulder block, elbow drop, tijeras, hard knife edge chop, but Stacks comes back with a flying back elbow and they both punch each other. Escobar and D'Angelo finally tag in, the crowd rise to their feet, they go face-to-face, Escobar dropkicks him, hiptosses Stacks into the ring after a knee to the back - AND NOW ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! All SIX get in the ring and start fighting until D'Angelo chopblocks Escobar for the advantage.

Two Times tags in, Del Toro tags in too, clotheslines him in the corner, Wilde tags in, clothesline, Escobar tags in, clothesline, Del Toro tags in with a gamengiri, spinning suplex, and covers for 2. Two Times misses a couple of clotheslines but shoves him out the ring, then tags Stacks in to beat him up outside the ring. Back in now and all three are stomping down Del Toro one by one. Stacks is now the legal man and he puts Del Toro in a surfboard stretch, Del Toro fights back, but Stacks prevents the tag and tags out. D'Angelo delivers a suplex, taunts Escobar, then all three men tag in and out with Stacks hitting a diving elbow drop for a near-fall. Del Toro battles out of a chinlock, held back by his foot, lands on his feet, rolls over him and makes the hot tag.

Escobar and D'Angelo are in now, Escobar takes him down, hurricanrana, kicks him in the head, hits a top rope double axe handle, then Del Toro hit double diving crossbody blocks to the boys on the floor, while Escobar hits a torpedo suicide dive to D'Angelo! Escobar gets him back into the ring, hits the tope atomico, covers for 2, D'Angelo escapes the finisher, Escobar sits him on the top, hits a gamengiri, but Stacks interferes and both leaders fall down. Two Dimes and Del Toro get the tags and start swinging, Del Toro hits a springboard missile dropkick, rolls through a phoenix splash, and Two Dimes clotheslines him. Stacks tags in, double punches, Wilde sends Two Dimes out the ring, and Legado hit their legsweep/gamengiri finish! Two Dimes saves the match just in time by breaking the count. "This is awesome! This is awesome! This is awesome!"

All six men are down, all six men struggle back up to their feet, and all six men start slugging it out in the middle of the ring! Escobar and D'Angelo are left in the ring, and they clothesline each other. Elektra Lopez slips Escobar the brass knuckles, Stacks pulls out a crowbar from under the ring, Wilde intercepts him, Elektra jumps on the apron to distract the ref, and Stacks saves D'Angelo to take the hit from the crowbar! D'Angelo kicks Escobar out the ring, steals the brass knuckles, clocks Wilde in the noggin, Two Dimes pushes an unconscious Stacks onto Wilde, and the referee makes the 3-count!! WINNERS: TEAM D'ANGELO.

Santos Escobar is shocked. This means that Legado del Fantasma myst now be in D'Angelo's group and follow his lead! we get a video package for Alba Fyre, and a lot of the women finish watching the video. Lash Legend starts talking smack, tatum Paxley tells her to challenge Fyre to a match, but Legend makes excuses, so Paxley will do it instead.

* NXT Women's Tag Team Championship: Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs. Toxic Attration {C}

All four women fight before the bell and the challengers get the best of it. Kayden gets the upper hand at the bell, Katana tags in to dropkick Jayne, Gigi makes the blind tag, Jacy hits the neckbreaker on Chance, and Gigi kicks her in the back for a 2-count. Jacy tags back in to clothesline her, Gigi tagged in, boots her down, and the champs are in control as Jacy hits a cannonball. Gigi tags in for a delayed vertical, Katana slips out but gets kicked in her head and Gigi puts her in a chinlock. Katana battles back, rolls off Carter's back for a tornado DDT, and she makes the hot tag.

Kayden knocks down both women, dropkicks Dolin and splashes Jayne, then superkicks the latter for 2. Jacy hits the forearm smash, snap German suplex, Gigi hits the question mark kick, gets a 2-count, Jacy back in, Katana tags in to hit the double stomp, and gets a near-fall. Chance and Carter look for a double team, Dolin blocks them, but she gets knocked down and Katana hits a super hurricanrana sending Jayne onto Dolin! Jacy soon throws Chance off the top turnbuckle, Toxic Attraction hit their high-low kicking finisher, but Carter breaks up the pin, then she hits Jayne with the cutter on the apron!

Chance and Dolin fight in the ring, Chance with a kicking combo, goes for a standing moonsault off her back, slightly hits it, 2-count, Carter tags in, and hits a neckbreaker with a 450 Splash by Chance! Jacy breaks the count by pulling Carter out the ring, then grabs Chance to drop her face-first on the apron. Carter goes for the O'Connor Roll, Dolin kicks out, Jayne gets in a cheap shot, and Dolin hits the half-and-half suplex with bridge for 3! WINNERS and STILL NXT Women's Tag Team Champions: TOXIC ATTRACTION!

Score one for Toxic Attraction tonight.

* NXT North American Championship: Carmelo Hayes vs. Cameron Grimes {C}

Trick Williams accompanies Carmelo to the ring. They lock up collar-and-elbow, scrap around the ring, Grimes cartwheels out of a hurricanrana, stalemate, Hayes lands on his feet from a monkey flip, another stalemate, rollup, counter rollup, inside cradle, countered, jackknife pin for 2, and they power up to another stalemate. Hayes goes up top, Grimes avoids him, and Hayes avoids the Cave-In attempt. Grimes kicks him in the chest, gives him a back body drop, penalty kick, and covers for 2. Hayes pulls him out the ring, Grimes kicks him to block the suicide dive, and hits a diving crossbody for 2. Hayes drops the champ with a slingshot DDT on the apron!

Hayes starts to get control and does little punches and kicks. Hayes kicks him in the back, goes for the springboard legdrop, Grimes avoids it, but Hayes remains on top. Williams grabs Cameron's arm for Hayes to get in the punches, but only gets a 2-count. Grimes throws him off, counters the springboard, and hits a backflip press! Both men trade punches, Grimes gets the momentum, hits the PK kick, and gets a 2-count.

Hayes and Grimes block each other's finishers, Hayes blocks the poison 'rana, Hayes hits a lungblower, and covers for a near-fall. Hayes goes up top, Grimes rolls out the way, hits the flipping powerslam, and gets a near-fall. Hayes hits the pump kick, Grimes superkicks him, hits the Poison Rana, and hits a tope con hilo taking out Williams and Hayes! Grimes throws him back into the ring, Williams grabs his leg, Grimes hits Williams with the Cave-In on the apron, Hayes drops him on the turnbuckles, then hits the diving legdrop for 1-2-3! WINNER and NEW NXT North American Champion: CARMELO HAYES!

Backstage, Joe Gacy is talking to his disciples about John Gacy and he wants to win the NXT Championship, and if he does win then he will lead NXT in a new direction. Next we get a video package for the women's championship match, then we see Wendy Choo sleeping and dreaming of becoming the new champion.

* NXT Women's Championship: Wendy Choo vs. Mandy Rose {C}

Wendy Choo is playing around, and Mandy starts attacking her. The bell dings and Mandy catches her for a fallaway slam, does shoulder thrusts to the midsection, Wendy with a backslide for 2, and hits a running kick. Mandy avoids the sleepy elbow drop, starts swinging away, chokes her on the ropes, covers for 2, beats her down in a corner, delivers a snap suplex, and snapmares into a body scissors. Wendy gets a jawbreaker, but Mandy clotheslines her and covers for 2. Wendy counters a suplex with an inside cradle for 2, Mandy punches her on the nose, covers for 2, Wendy fights back, but Mandy hits a flipping slam for another 2-count.

Both women trade punches, Mandy puts her in the octopus stretch, Wendy counters for 1, Mandy counters for 2, Wendy counters for 2, hits forearm shots, clotheslines her, overhead suplex, cartwheel forearm smash, and hits the Naptime Elbow. Mandy rolls out the ring, Wendy hits her with the baseball slide, goes for the cartwheel, but Mandy counters with a spinebuster on the ramp! Mandy gets in the ring with her championship prancing around in a premature celebration, the referee is counting, Wendy is back in at 9, Mandy delivers another spinebuster, and covers for 2.9! Wendy blocks the running knee with her body pillow, Mandy rips the pillow apart, Wendy hits the running dropkick, takedown with punches, and hits the pendulum spinebuster. Wendy applies a seated full nelson, rolls her over for 2, then puts her in the sleeper hold! Mandy rolls over to the ropes to break the hold. Wendy hits the full nelson slam, goes up top, Mandy pulls her down, hits the running knee strike, and gets the 3-count! WINNER and STILL NXT Women's Champion: MANDY ROSE!

The rest of Toxic Attraction get in the ring to show off that they are all still the champs.

* NXT Tag Team Championship: The Creed Brothers vs. Pretty Deadly {C}

Brutus Creed slam Kit Wilson at the beginning and suplexes him. Both sides tag, Julius Creed gives Elton Prince a back body drop. Both Creed Brother deliver simultaneous German suplexes, then they apply dualing submissions. Julius does an armdrag, suplexes Brutus onto him, and The Creeed Brothers tag in and out to take control, then Pretty Deadly start to take control. Eventually, the Creed Brothers get back control, throwing them around, Pretty Deadly gets back control, in their corner, and Kit puts Julius in the bosy scissors.

Brutus gets the hot tag, takes out both men,and hit sthe diving Brutus Ball for a 2-count. Kit pulls Elton to the corner just to tag in, Brutus gets him a back suplex, Elton slides one of the championships into the ring, passes Kit and into the hands of Julius, he thinks about it, looks over to the crowd, and hands it to the referee. Brutus takes out Kit, Julius gets on the top rope, connects with the shooting star press, hits the sliding clothesline and gets the 1-2-3!! WINNERS and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions: THE CREED BROTHERS!! 

Julius and Brutus celebrate their victory with their parents in the front row. On Tuesday, July 5th, we will celebrate NXT: Great American Bash! This Tuesday on NXT 2.0, we get the finals of the NXT Breakout Women's Tournament between Tiffany Staratton and Roxanne Perez. We get a video package to highlight the feud over the NXT Championship. If Breakker gets disqualified then he can lose the title that way.

* NXT Championship: Bron Breakker {C} vs. Joe Gacy

Breakker strikes at the bell, Gacy slaps him, Breakker hits shoulder thrusts in a corner and beats him down. Gacy dropkicks him, hits a backbreaker, but soon after Breakker beats him down in a corner. Breakker catches him on a leapfrog for a spinebuster. Gacy gets the advantage after one of his disciples distracted the referee, and he slammed Breakker into the turnbuckle with a steel chair. Back in the ring, Gacy hits a running kneelift, neckbreaker, a chinlock, and a running forearm smash in the corner. With Breakker laid out on the apron, Gacy hits a running senton, gets him back in the ring and takes control.

Breakker rolls him up for 2, Gacy reverses for 2, hangs upside-down in a corner, and plats him with a DDT for a near-fall. Gacy goes up to the top rope, Breakker knnocks him down, throws Gacy back into the ring, and Gacy puts him in a chicklock. Gacy hits an overhead suplex, taunts the champ, Breakker smacks him, fights back, hits shoulder tackles, and plants him with the spinebuster. Gacy rolls out the ring, Breakker hits the tope con hilo, gets him back into the ring, one of the disciples jumps onto the apron, Breakker knocks him down, gacy smacks a chair onto the mat and tosses the smoking gun into Bron's hands. The referee turns around to see the chair in his hands, apologizes to Bron before he's about to DQ him, but another referee comes down to explain the situation, so Gacy rolls Bron up for a near-fall! Breakker knocks Gacy off the apron and the challenger crashes into the announce table!

Back in the ring, Breakker gets on the middle ropes, hits the diving bulldog, and covers for 2.5! Gacy grabs the steel chair, slides it to Bron, the champ picks the chair up, hands it to the referee, Gacy hits the low blow and covers for 1-2-KICKOUT! Breakker takes the chair from the referee, gets angry, and hits the disciple with the chair sending him down into the other! Gacy goes for the handspring, Breakker hits the SPEAR, drops him with the military press powerslam, and gets the 1-2-3!! WINNER and STILL NXT CHAMPION: BRON BREAKKER!!

Bron Breakker has put his angry to use in the right manner, and retains his NXT Championship! Once this NXT: In Your House is available OnDemand, I will fill in the blanks where necessary. Good night everyone!
