In yet another shakeup to the WWE announcing crew, Nigel McGuiness has reportedly been released after six years with the company. (PWI) If I were Tony Khan, I would sign him to be part of the ROH relaunch immediately.

Following a surgical procedure to address Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (a congenital heart defect), Gable Steveson is now training full time at the WWE Performance Center in advance of his pro wrestling debut. He certainly has all of the physical ability in the world and then some, but I hope he developes the charisma on the mic and the ability to connect with the audience watching as much or more. So far his appearances on TV have been underwhelming (to me anyway) but I'll say this much -- he's way ahead of Parker Boudreaux and Boudreaux has been in pro wrestling a lot longer.

WWE released a short statement about the passing of Sara Lee: "WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. As a former Tough Enough winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans." That's nice but a video package paying tribute to her on SmackDown and a donation to her family's GoFundMe would go a lot further.
