Tues. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Wednesday's latest wrestling news.

Tony KhanIn this interview Tony Khan talks about the importance of AEW's debut in Canada tonight in Toronto: "For AEW and for wrestling fans, this debut in Toronto is a huge milestone. WWE has run shows in Toronto and through Canada for decades but there has not been a challenge or promotion with the level of international TV penetration that AEW has with our great roster of wrestlers, our unmatched financial resources, and our international television partnerships in two decades."

Chris Jericho talks about the same thing: "It's been a long time coming. Right out of the gate we were a big hit in Canada. I know our numbers on TSN are really good. But we had this little thing called the worldwide pandemic that delayed getting here. I was always asking, 'When are we hitting Canada? When's Toronto?' Now that it's almost time... it's really exciting. Toronto wrestling fans are off the charts. Whenever someone asks about the best wrestling cities in the world I always say London, Chicago, Tokyo and Toronto. Toronto is loud. You cheer for who you want to cheer for... sometimes that would drive WWE heads of state crazy. They would call it bizarro land. But that's the Canadian way. We'll go nuts for who we like and we'll boo who we hate. We don't care what we are 'supposed' to do. I'm excited to see the reaction we get."

As you might have expected the WWE Raw rating was up this week coming right after the Extreme Rules PPV. The show did a 0.55 18-49 demo with 1.824 million viewers, well up from 0.40 and 1.599 million the week before. (SBD)

On his latest podcast Matt Hardy talks about how to squash backstage issues: "The best advice I can give anyone - if you have an issue with something or someone, go to them directly and talk it out. When people harbor resentment towards someone else, that's when bad things happen. You have to get it out. You have to be forthright, and really address these scenarios and situations."

Also on Busted Open Radio Matt talks about what he wants for his brother Jeff Hardy: "I just want him to get better, even if Jeff never wrestles another day in his life. I want him to be healthy, and it's important for him to be healthy and happy, because he has two beautiful daughters, he has a very loving wife who has stuck by his side through thick and through thin, and the most important thing I want for my brother is for him to be healthy. He seems to be doing really well. The conversations I've had with him have been really, really good, and the most important barometer, I think, of all these things, is that his wife Beth is super happy with his progress and where he's at in life, and I think that's probably most important."

NXT highlights and WWE related videos are available below.

AEW related videos are available here.

In addition here's a Trey Miguel interview.

In this interview Anthony Bowens says The Acclaimed were asked not to do the scissoring gimmick: "We were originally asked to not do it at a point, but for whatever reason, we just started doing it again. There was this one time I was on the floor, and I looked up and fans - all of them - had their hands out with the scissor gesture yelling for me to scissor them. So, we knew we had something after that. I think it's turned into the biggest thing in professional wrestling right now. People can't get enough of the scissoring. We'll do meet-and-greets and other stuff, and for hours, every single person will come up and say, 'Can we scissor you?' It's fantastic."
