In this interview Shawn Michaels talks about the bond between members of D-Generation X: "When all of DX get together in the same room, it's like the buddies you have in high school. You just sort of pick up where you left off. I think that comes across both on-screen and behind the camera. It's not a DX culture by any stretch. It's just about the joy and the fun of what this job is and what it truly can be and now it's actually happening."

Last week's AEW Rampage did a 0.12 and 378,000 viewers, down from 0.13 and 480,000 the week before. Going against the World Series, that was to be expected. SmackDown was equally affected by being bumped off FOX and over to FOX Sports 1. The show did a 0.23 and 835,000 viewers, well off of 0.52 and 2.231 million the week before. (SBD)

Luckily SmackDown can't be pre-empted this Friday as game three between the Phillies and Padres was postponed due to rain, changing the entire World Series schedule. Of course if either team wins three straight there'd be no game six anyway, but there was always the chance SmackDown would get bumped again until now.

Katie Arquette talks about being on AEW Dark Elevation and WWE Raw on the same night: "The whole night was pretty crazy. being able to be in the ring and not knowing it was going to happen, I'm glad I was able to make an impression like that. Anyone who did see me for the first time live on Raw, I'm glad I made that impression. My gear was new, I made sure to touch up my makeup differently that night, just in case anything were to happen."

Karrion Kross talks about his WWE release last year: "I got a phone call one day and they basically just said that there were budget cuts. Scarlett and I got the same call. Her and I are very solution-based thinkers. We don't spend a lot of time grieving about stuff, we like to move forward with things. Honest to God, I'm not just saying this, it's hard for me to even remember the details of what happened. But I can tell you we were disappointed. But we were also relieved at the same time as well because we were not fulfilled artistically or creatively with what we were doing at the time and we thought, 'Hey, this is a new opportunity right now, being released to improve different aspects of our lives personally and professionally.'" And here's what he said about his return this year: "Well, I stayed in touch with everybody even after I left. So I stayed in touch with the boys and a few people in management. The last three months before I was released they were a little weird but I didn't let that spoil my entire experience in the company. I had a really good experience with WWE. And the experience working there was life-changing in all the best ways. So every once in a while we would check in on Hunter and see how he's doing, just personal stuff - we never talked about work - and he would check in on us. One day he was wondering if we were around for a call. And then I think it was the week that you guys saw me on TV. I jumped on a call with Hunter and he proposed the concept of coming back. He said, 'Would you guys like to come home?' And we were like, 'Of course we would'. And then you guys saw us two days later, we were on TV. We've always had a good relationship with everyone. We loved our experience there. That bridge was never ever burned or damaged or anything like that. It was just a series of unfortunate events that led to where we're at and we came full circle."

Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz says he still gives them advice: "There's plenty of times I'm watching, like 'Ah, I would've done that instead.' You know, I even texted Ed Koskey at one point after a match and said 'You know what? Next time, what if you did this, that, and the other thing?'"
