Drew McIntyreOn his latest podcast, Mick Foley credited Drew McIntyre with reinventing himself for his WWE return: "There's some people who make it a point to go back, if not, reinvent themselves, then to improve themselves. It's almost like the Drew McIntyre blueprint. 'Yes, I am gonna do some shows where I take advantage of the name I had, but I am going to improve myself, come back as a better Drew McIntyre.' I don't know if I've told this story, but I think this deserves to be said. He sent me a text, probably a direct message on Twitter. He goes, 'I know we don't know each other that well, but your opinion means a lot to me. I'm trying something new, I just did this.' I don't know if he used the word reinvent, and I watched his comeback to Insane Championship Wrestling, ICW, and the first thing I did was text Hunter, who I don't text too often, and I said, 'You need to take a look at Drew McIntyre.' I said, 'I know he just left, but it's almost like he's a different human being.'"

WWE has announced third quarter revenue of $304.6 million, up 19% over the previous quarter.

Brian Pillman Jr. talks about the advice he got from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin: "I just stand outside the little campus building and chat with Steve Austin for about 45 minutes. He tells me some great shit and by the end of it, I thought, 'You know what Steve, I've been thinking, I'm here, I'm about to graduate school and start a bullshit job.' I was like, 'You think I could ever get into the pro wrestling business?' He's like, 'I want to let you know your dad would want you to do whatever would make you happy, you know what I mean?' He's like, 'This business ain't going anywhere.' He's like, 'Don't do it just to do it.'"

Madcap Moss says Sami Zayn is his dream WrestleMania 39 opponent: "Sami Zayn, the Honorary Uce. I just can't decide how I feel about him because I just can't take my eyes off of him. He's so entertaining. But, at the time, I have my fist balled up every time I watch him and I just want to punch him right in the face at the same time. Either way he's an unbelievable performer, you know, all craziness aside he's one of the best on the mic, in the ring. You know what he did this past year at WrestleMania with Johnny, Johnny Knoxville, how fun was that match? An absolutely all-time match right there."

Jake Paul talks about himself and his brother Logan: "It's crazy, so crazy Logan has this match. I'm so proud of him. It's surreal he has this opportunity, and it's serendipitous that his event and my event are happening on back-to-back weekends. We're taking over the world. We're the next Kardashians. My brother is going to become champion. I believe that. This is his time."

Wes Lee can't believe he has HBK's phone number: "I still can't wrap my head around the fact that I have that man's phone number. We have interactions everyday that I see him at the PC and yes, the inner child in me is like, losing his mind over the fact that I have this relationship with Shawn Michaels. The fact that we have been able to shed tears with each other means that we have a connection that you don't really get to have with a lot of people and for me to have that with one of my idols is, my entire time here has been indescribable, honestly."

Xia Brookside talks about her WWE release: "At first, it was a bit of, 'Oh no, I'm getting married in July,' so I was planning that and it was 'what am I going to do?' But the love and support I've received from the fanbase has come back to me, they're reaching out like, 'where are you going? What are you doing next?' Wrestlers have reached out to me. I'm ready to hit the ground running."

Here's the updated lineup for IMPACT Wrestling. (IW)

* Before The Impact: X-Division Championship Tournament: Yuya Uemura vs. PJ Black
* X-Division Championship Tournament: Kenny King vs. Speedball Mike Bailey
* Eric Young vs. Sami Callihan
* Aussie Open vs. Josh Alexander & Frankie Kazarian
* Moose vs. Ace Austin

Nina Samuels talks about The Nina Samuels Shows: "The first time it was ever discussed, I feel like it was 2019. Initially, it was going to be an in-ring segment and I think it was written in the script, briefly, then it got scrapped and there was never anything spoken about it for years. During lockdown, it was talked about as being a possible studio segment, and there were ideas for that, but Noam Dar had Supernova Sessions, so it would be a bit too similar. The first time I think it was talked about being a backstage segment was years ago when we had Radzi (Chinyanganya) as our backstage interviewer and he wasn't going to be able to do a taping. There was an idea that I would possibly fill his role for the taping and we would plant the seeds at the taping before where we would start with me having a feud with Radzi and oust him. It just never came to fruition."

Sami Zayn doesn't miss his old music: "No, I don't. Honestly, I wanted to change that song for a while. I thought I had it for too long - two years too long, maybe three years too long! {*laughs*} Once I became a bad guy. I felt it should have switched right away. McMahon had a bit of a different mindset about it, which I see his point. It reached a point where it didn't match the character anymore. Especially when I was doing the conspiracy stuff."

Colt Cabana talks about his match from Death Before Dishonor: "I was literally the first match. People were still filing in. It was exciting to do the match, but by the time I was able to watch the full pay-per-view, it was a full arena and I was like 'Oh man.' That shouldn't be my first memory, because it was such a good match, and Anthony (Henry) is such a good wrestler. I think he's a big star, and he's going to be an even bigger star once ROH starts zooming up. I think Tony says he wants to get a weekly show going. I only know what has been announced, so I don't know anything either."

Bodhi Hayward was shocked by his WWE release: "My first initial thought was, I was in shock. It was 100% out of the left field. I was upset too. I felt the relationships I had there that were being built were good. I was shocked, and it was a big blow to my confidence. I was thinking Chase U main roster, but I was shocked and hurt. It showed me that there is a lot more to this business that maybe I do have to learn about. In some way shape or form, you are always in control. I look at this as a great opportunity. I feel that I'm made for this. Physically, and mentally. The one thing I always wanted was to cut an in-ring promo. I love being in front of crowds. I never feel more comfortable than being in front of them. That's what will make me successful in this business. I love the Brodies and they're loving me back. I want to love everyone for who they are as well."

Chris Jericho talks to Screen Rant about AEW drama: "Well, it's one of those things. It's really not that weird. I mean, it's just wrestling, man. I think the only difference is that now, whenever something happens, it gets out very quickly and everybody has an opinion. But I've been in locker room fights before, and it's never good. But for us, I think there's such a positive atmosphere which, of course, doesn't get talked about. It really is a new era for our company. So many positive things on the horizon. So many great things going on right now. Our stories are just really clicking. The matches are really good. I thought last night's show was great from top to bottom. Saraya has just come in, and we've got so many other great new talents coming in, with others getting ready to come in. I think, sure, there's negative things. But if you have 98 positives and two negatives, it's the two negatives that are going to get talked about. And just like you said, you've just got to keep moving forward. And we know what's happening. I know what's going on with everything. We're taking care of it. And that's just the way it is. It's wrestling, it really is. And, more importantly, there's some great momentum for AEW, and our ratings are still great ratings. So it's just that there's so much positive stuff that when the negative things happen, you just deal with them, and you move forward. That's how it goes."

NXT did a 0.13 rating and 670,000 viewers, down from 0.15 and 716,000 viewers last week. (SBD)
