Mon. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Tuesday's latest wrestling news.

Bryan DanielsonIn this interview Bryan Danielson says he's looking forward to retirement: "All that said, I'm not going to be a full-time wrestler for much longer. When my AEW contract is up, that's pretty much me being done as a full-time wrestler."

EFFY talks about promoting diversity in pro wrestling: "I've reached a weird stage in my career where I've done more than I expected to do in wrestling, I've punched down a lot of weird doors - I got Jeff Jarrett over again after no one gave a shit about him. Now, let's make the wrestling environment that you've kind of imagined, that embraces creativity, that embraces people of all sexualities and genders and expressions, embraces the fact that diversity adds to stories. There's still that little edge to it where we can have a safe working environment and an environment for people to take entertainment in, while also taking risks still and trying new things, and not boxing in what wrestling should be, and treating it as a medium of storytelling versus 'pro wrestling is this story."

Becky Lynch is reportedly ready for an in-ring return and as such would be the final wrestler introduced into the WarGames match for Survivor Series. (FF)

Teddy Long on the state of WWE today: "Well, I think with the WWE, I've been watching it, and I think Hunter has his work cut out for him now. He's got to try to change things. And I can see that Hunter understands this very well. He's going back to the old school, back to the attitude era, the thing that hooked the people. And like I said, they had a match, I thought the main event last night on Raw, it reminded me of the old school stuff. I think it's going to take a while because you got a lot of young kids there that they have to learn how to adapt to the old school. Remember, the old school is what brought us to the dance, so you could never forget that. We may be entertainment right now, but when at the end of the day, it's still professional wrestling, and that's what people want to see. And so I think Hunter's going to get back to that Attitude Era, and I think they're going to be okay."

Shinjiro Otani is still paralyzed but other aspects of his rehab are going well. "With the kindness of people all over Japan, Shinjiro Otani is currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation based on a treatment plan (7 months), and his respiratory dysfunction has improved compared to the early stages of his disease, but unfortunately, there has been little improvement in his complete quadriplegic state (paralyzed from the neck down). In addition, due to the Corona disaster, we have only been able to visit family members and relatives, and have not been able to meet with any company officials, supporters, or players. Under these difficult circumstances, the hospital has provided him with a device that allows him to operate his phone with his chin, which he strongly requested, and we are sending out daily messages on Twitter expressing our gratitude for everyone's kindness. In addition, regarding future treatment and rehabilitation, we will repeatedly discuss with his family and relatives, giving the highest priority to his wishes, and will seek new treatment methods without giving up. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to all those who have supported Shinjiro Otani and ask for their continued support. He will also be sending his own words of gratitude in the near future."

Renee Paquette says she was talking to WWE about a return before going to AEW: "I had been talking to WWE, that had gotten leaked out before I debuted with AEW, I had been having conversations with WWE about all the things they have going on over there. The more I was thinking about it and figuring out what that looks like and what the future looks like, I was like, 'No, I want to be in AEW.' I want to be part of this company that is growing and developing. I want to help. I want to help lend whatever knowledge I have in this space to make things good, I want to do a good job, I want to be on the road with my husband, that makes life easier. It was more so that and it was more conversations Jon and I were having. That was one of those first big moments, 'We have to make a decision as a family.' Not that I can't do what I want, if that's what I decided to do, it would have been fine, but you have family conversations about what makes the most sense for everyone."

A replay of the webcast will be available shortly after the conclusion of the presentation."
