Sun. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Monday's latest pro wrestling news!

I'd like to start this update by offering my condolences to the friends and family of Matt Mann b/k/a KidZombie. KZ was a huge fan of independent wrestling and did many interviews over the years through his podcast Rubber Guard Radio, which could also be found on this site during his time as a contributor. Much like the late Jordan J. Garber, the world seems a little less colorful without him in it, and he will be greatly missed. Please beware of any GoFundMe campaigns attempting to profit from his passing. Unless they are officially announced by his family, don't contribute to anything. Thank you.

UndertakerSpeaking to the Daily Mail, Undertaker talks about his relationship with Brock Lesnar: "Brock and I have always been close. When he came up the first time, there were numerous occasion where we sat down and talked about things, he ran by me early on when he was thinking about leaving. When he wanted to go and play football or do something else, and I gave him my perspective on it. Where everyone else was telling him he was making a mistake I told him the opposite, I told him, 'Dude if you don't do it now, you're going to look back one day and have that regret, this is going to be here.' Brock's a special talent, everybody knows the talent Brock has. WWE is always going to be there for him, then he goes out and tries football and ends up in MMA and he did pretty good, world champion, biggest pay-per-view draw at the time that they had, and then his career when he came back was picked up right where he left off."

In this interview Trish Stratus talks about turning heel at WrestleMania 20: "When Vince came to us, the night of WrestleMania, and said, 'I think we're going to change things up. We're going to have...' and he explained I would go heel. 'What? This is so many months of storyline to get to this moment.' We were excited about it. We thought fans wanted this, and they did, and that's why he changed it. Fans wanted it so bad, he thought no one ever expected me to turn. For me, personally, it was a great moment and I was able to turn. That was the first change that allowed for something positive. Christian ended up getting injured, I hate to say it, it helped my character because I wasn't a side piece anymore, I was 'the one.' It was basically Jericho vs. Trish Stratus. The guys were fighting on my behalf, maybe Tomko would have a match, but the storyline was Trish and Jericho. It allowed me to grow as a heel, work alongside Jericho, who is amazing and I learned so much working in that capacity. It could have been really good, but I think everything happens for a reason. That was my best work as a heel, and my most enjoyable time, for sure. Who knows what it could have been had Christian continued, but it was what it was, and I think it worked out pretty good." There's another Trish Stratus interview here.

MLW is among the many companies who have decided to distance themselves from Davey Richards, but in their case, he was already done as far back as February when they decided not to continue the relationship due to "an odd pattern of behavior." Richards was also trying to work outside bookings even while with MLW, and MLW eventually cleared a deal with Impact where they used him and MLW used Sami Callihan. He also reached out to AEW to be an opponent for Bryan Danielson, but they turned him down and went with Timothy Thatcher instead. (FF)
