Claudio CastagnoliSpeaking to Under the Ring, Claudio Castagnoli talks about his wrestling influences: "I just watched some Ultimo Guerrero matches lately, Dr. Wagner Jr., there's a lot of that. I watched some old New Japan last week on the way to work. You never stop learning, you never don't find new guys that you can learn and pull from. There's been plenty of lucha libre influences in my style. I trained at CHIKARA back in the day, trained for a long time with Skayde, who trained everybody in Toryumon, which was the precursor for Dragon Gate. Their amazing style has been taught by Skayde, and he was my lucha libre coach for three, four, five years. I feel it had a big influence on me and still does. Obviously, I feel like the more different styles you can learn, the more versatile that you are, and the more it broadens your horizon."

In this interview with NBC 4 LA, Steve Austin talks about what he misses most about wrestling full time: "Well yeah, I miss the boys. That's what I miss. You miss going up and down the road telling stories, laughing, and doing things to entertain each other when you're doing the grind on the road…just living life. It's a different breed of animals, or guys, or human beings, that get into this business, and birds of a feather flock together and the sports entertainment industry draws some very unique characters."

Via social media Naomi (Trinity Fatu) confirmed she's no longer with WWE.

In this interview Jake Roberts says he wasn't in shape to work WrestleMania in 1996: "The biggest problem was I was out of shape. It was all on me. I was 40-50 pounds overweight."

AEW related videos are also available below.

In addition here's a new Chris Masters interview.

Here's the lineup for Level Up today. (WWE)

* Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs. Damon Kemp & Tavion
* Odyssey Jones vs. Kale Dixon

The latest edition of Before the Impact is below.

This week's edition of Dynamite did 954,000 viewers, up fro 852,000 last week. The 18-49 demo also rose from 0.27 to 0.33. (SBD)

Speaking of AEW, the promotion may move this year's All Out event from the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates just outside of Chicago to the United Center +inside+ of Chicago. (FF)

Fuego Del Sol says he'll be in a cast for four weeks before rehab begins.

From NJPW: "The first two matches have been made official for Collision in Philadelphia on April 16. With the 2300 Arena rapidly approaching capacity, two hard fought battles perfectly represent the diversity of professional wrestling that made the venue famous, and set the tone for more incredible matches to be announced soon. Gabriel Kidd will meet Eddie Kingston in singles action. April 16 will see the two face to face for the second time in an NJPW ring in the States, with their first meeting on NJPW STRONG in January 2022 earning more than a few votes for match of the year from fans for its intensity and hard fought violence. Gabe Kidd's teachings from Katsuyori Shibata, and influences from Hroyoshi Tenzan earning the nickname of the Young Bull puts him firmly in the camp of Strong Style tradition, while Eddie Kingston true to his name prefers to walk the path of Kawada, Kobashi and Taue. Styles make fights, and this fight is one to be there live for. Also set for Philadelphia, Alex Coughlin will face Tracy Williams in an ROH Pure Rules match. Part of the Foundation on ROH programming, 'Hot Sauce' Tracy Williams hasn't been seen in an NJPW ring since the Night Before Rumble on 44th Street. Now he faces the power of the Android. Under ROH Pure rules, each competitor has up to three rope breaks that can be used before submissions and pinfalls in the ropes are recognised, closed fist punches to the head are illegal with a referee warning followed by immediate disqualification, and the match will be determined by a panel of judges should it reach its time limit. The rule set in itself implies that this match's winner could instantly shoot up the rankings for the ROH Pure Championship currently held by Wheeler Yuta; might a new contender emerge from this matchup?"

The latest pre-trial hearing for Tammy "Sunny" Sytch was (surprise surprise) postponed again until April 13th. (PWI)

Excalibur is going into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame this year.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) have signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling.

Sareee (f/k/a Sarray) talks about her time in WWE: "I made a decision because I was being scouted. I'm really glad that I challenged America. It was a great experience for me as a professional wrestler because I was able to experience many things that I wouldn't have had the chance to experience in a normal life. This experience has become a real asset for me, and I would like to make the most of this experience when I return to Japan. I want to rampage in the professional wrestling world as Sareee, who has absorbed the world."

This year's Opera Cup will kick off at MLW War Chamber next month.
