Impact Wrestling is reporting that Josh Alexander is out of action immediately due to a triceps tear and has to vacate the Impact World Championship as a result. A new champion will be crowned at Rebellion in a match between KUSHIDA and Steve Maclin for the vacant title. Ironically he's still in a pre-taped match that will air on Impact next week. She's not vacating the Knockouts Title but Mickie James is also out of action with an injury and won't be able to compete at Sacrifice. Obviously if it was as serious of an injury as Alexander's she probably would have given up the belt so here's hoping she'll be back sooner rather than later.

Speaking of injuries, Ronda Rousey's fractured arm will keep her out of a tag team match at WrestleMania 39. The original plan was for her and Shayna Baszler to team together to face Damage CTRL, although they may be still used in a more limited role in a four-way tag team match. Naomi (Trinity Fatu) has chosen her post WWE name, filing a trademark to use "Trinity Starr" going forward. (PWI) If Mercedes is money, Trinity is definitely a star, so I could see them reuniting as a team at some point.

And that's a good coincidence because New Japan just announced Mercedes Mone will be at Sakura Genesis for a three-way IWGP Women's Title defense against AZM and Hazuki. The show takes place April 8th and will air on New Japan World (at 2 or 3 in the morning for me).
